DE LUCA, LEDO The family announces with great sorrow his death on Friday July 2, 2004 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Claire De Luca (nee-Lacroix), loving father of Marc De Luca of Guelph and Michael De Luca of Calgary. Dear brother of Ada Ciccone of Timmins and Lucio (Louise) De Luca of Ottawa, beloved son-in-law of René Lacroix of Timmins, dear brother-in-law of Lorraine (Brian) Fitzmaurice of London, Irene Caron of Toronto, René (Arlene) Lacroix of Vancouver, Carmen (William) MacDonald of Winnipeg and Micheline (Jim) Litke of Timmins, loving uncle of Dr. Lino Ciccone (Chantal), Dr. Mario Ciccone, Alexandre and Eric Ciccone, John and Daniel De Luca all of Ottawa, Carole and Michael Rondeau of Sarnia, Robert and Laura Caron of Sudbury, Gaetan and Lei-Anne Caron of Timmins, Roch Caron of Toronto, Michelle and Clay Thorsteinson of Winnipeg, Matthew and Marcia MacDonald of Winnipeg, Kim MacDonald of Winnipeg, Jason and Leslie Parker of Vancouver. Predeceased by his father Giovanni De Luca in 1967, his mother Giovanna De Luca in 1984, his son Normand De Luca in 1970, his brothers-in-law Edelo Ciccone in 1960 and Robert Caron in 2004. Born in Villa Santa Lucia, Italy on December 2, 1933 Ledo came to Canada in 1949. He worked at Timmins Dairy for 17 years, MacDonald Beverages for 5 years and the City of Timmins for 17 years. He was a member of the Dante Club since 1952 and a member of the Knights of Columbus Third and Fourth Degree. He loved his family and his sons and enjoyed his cottage. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday July 5, 2004 at the Sacred Heart Church. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
