SHEFFIELD, Viola Leash April 25, 1914 - July 9, 2004 Passed away peacefully in Arnprior Hospital on Friday morning, Viola Sheffield (nee Mullin) of Arnprior in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Garfield "Shep" Sheffield. Cherished mother of Mr. Justice Alan Sheffield (Heather) of Almonte and Clair (Brian) MacLaren of Dunrobin. Much loved grandmother of Jennifer Sheffield (Russel Martin), Sarah Gray (Mark) and Emily. Great-grandmother of Molly and Lilian Gray. Survived by her brother Russell (Orletta) Mullin of Arnprior and sister-in-law Bessie Mullin of Sodus NY. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Osborne (Bill), Betty Miller, Loretta Leavoy, Harold, Ella Arcand and Carl. Viola was a co-founder of The Opportunity Shop, co-founder of Arnprior, Braeside, McNab Home Support, member of Committee of Stewarts and Elder of Session of Grace St. Andrew's United Church, UCW member and retired accountant with Ontario Hydro. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel St. N., Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Sunday 2-4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Grace St. Andrew's United Church, Arnprior on Monday, July 12, 2004 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in The Christian Education Centre. In memoriams to Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital or Grace St. Andrew's United Church Accessibility Fund greatly appreciated by her family. The Ottawa Citizen
