STANDISH - Jacqueline S. Fecteau, 66, of Standish, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at her home. She was born Jacqueline Lee Seavey in Westbrook, the daughter of Francis and Viola Chaplin Seavey. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1958 and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Jacquie worked at S.D. Warren in the Central Office and later in Customer Service. She was a member of the Westbrook Women's Club, the Republican Committee, the Class of '58 Reunion Committee and the Westbrook Together Days auction. Her husband Michael died in 1985. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Christopher (Suzanne) Van Ness of Windham; and two sons, Michael F. Fecteau of Sumner, and Anthony Fecteau of Sumner; five grandchildren; and an aunt, Leona Glidden of Westbrook. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Blais and Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. Alma Acton COOKVILLE, NB - The death of Alma Acton, age 68, of Cookville, NB, occurred suddenly at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 8, 2005. Born in Point de Bute, she was a daughter of Alice (Tingley) Fury and the late Winston Fury. A co-owner of RA Farm, she was active with her husband in various farming operations. She had been employed over the years with Enamel & Heating and John Baughan. She was a former leader of Silver Lake 4 H Beef Club, an active member of the Midgic Baptist Church and the ladies aid. Cecile L. Lorraine, 89, formerly of Nashua, N.H., died Nov. 23, 2005, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, following a brief illness. Mrs. Lorraine was born Dec. 30, 1915, in Nashua, daughter of the late George and Leonie (Turcotte) Pelletier.A lifelong Nashua resident, she had resided on French Hill during her early years and later made her home on Bowers Street for several years.She was the widow of Andrew S. Lorraine, who died Feb. 14, 1977.Mrs. Lorraine had worked as a waitress at the former Priscilla's Tea Room in downtown Nashua for many years. Earlier in her career, Mrs. Lorraine had owned and operated a restaurant in Nashua.She was educated in Nashua schools and was a communicant of Infant Jesus Church.Mrs. Lorraine enjoyed playing the organ and was a member of the Organ Club.In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a brother, Robert Pelletier, and a sister, Blanche Bergen.Survivors include two sons, Louis P. Dumais and Michael M. Dumais, both of Nashua; a daughter, Denise E. He was 90 and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. GOULET -- Donald Joseph Goulet passed away unexpectedly, December 7, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odilon and Donatha Goulet. He serviced in Korea and leaves behind many brothers in Maryknoll. Don worked tirelessly for the rights of the underprivileged and disenfranchised. Cremation has taken place. BRADSHAW, BABY HOPE MARIE CLAIRE - The death of Baby Hope Marie Claire Bradshaw occurred unexpectedly on December 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the infant daughter of BJ Bradshaw and Kerrie Henderson. Besides her parents she is survived by sister Madison Clayton; paternal grandfather Ben Bradshaw, maternal grandparents James and Edith Henderson; great grandparents Fred (Doris) Bradshaw, Mary Henderson all of St. Martins and Elsie Bragdon of Saint John; uncles Trinity (Stephanie) Henderson, James Jr. Henderson, Kyle Bradshaw all of St. Martins, Anthony LaRocque and Brandon LaRocque both of Golden Grove; several great aunts, great uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by paternal grandmother Linda Marie Barr and great grandfather Kenneth Henderson. A private family funeral service will be held from St. Martins United Church at a later date. CAMPBELL, BURTON LEVI - The death of Burton L. Campbell, husband of Pearl (Nickerson), of Saint John and Cambridge Narrows, NB occurred Wednesday December 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 13th, 1917 to the late Lester and Olive (Hovey) Campbell. Burton was a Long Shoreman in the winter and a contract painter in the summer. Burton is survived by his wife and three daughters: Sandra (Joseph) Butler of Cambridge Narrows, NB, Rose (Thomas) Killen and Brenda (Phillip) Cooper both of Calgary, AB; seven grandchildren: Elaine (Jamie) Shannon, Pauline (Rodney) Wilkens, Gregg (Stacy) Butler, Kurt (Carla) Killen, Jason (Jan) Killen, Tera (Jason) Faulconbridge, and Sean Chernipeski; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers: Clarence and Ralph Campbell; one sister Marjorie (Winston) Smith and several nieces and nephews. CLIFFORD, FRANK HENRY - The death of Frank Henry Clifford, loving husband of Sylvia (Haines) Clifford, of Rothesay occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday December 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1940 in Port Arthur, Ontario he was the only child of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Elson) Clifford. Frank was a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society, coached T Ball in his early years, and enjoyed going to Hockey Games and fishing. Besides his loving wife Sylvia, he is survived by his son Dr. David Clifford (Cindy) of Saint John; daughter Deborah Mesa (Shawn) of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren Simon and Abigail Clifford; several nieces and nephews. MORRISSEY, WILLIAM, EDWARD "NED" - On Thursday, December 8th, 2005, Edward Morrissey, loving husband of Katherine (Donovan) Morrissey, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Grand Falls, he was the son of the Late John and Alice (Coté) Morrissey. Ned worked for many years as a truck driver for Moosehead Breweries, retired after 34 years of service in 1974. He was a member of the local 362 brewers and distillers union as well as a member of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church. Besides his wife of 57 years, Ned is survived by his son, Jim (Pat), two daughters; Pat (Ronald) Gogan and Mary (Tony) McGraw, all of Saint John. Ned is also survived by three grandsons, Jamie, Troy, Shaun, one brother, Frederick of Ontario and two sisters, Effie Gauvin of Gagetown and Victoria "Becky" McNally of Saint John. Besides his parents Ned was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. GAUTREAU, HAROLD JOSEPH (HERKY) - At his residence on December 7, 2005 Harold Joseph (Herky) Gautreau of Lorneville husband of Theresa Gautreau. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Roch and Louise (Brideau) Gautreau. Herky was employed with Furness Withy as a mechanic and also at Purdy Sales and Service and he worked for a Cadillac Olds dealer ship in Boston. He was an avid Stock Car driver and was known as 8 Ball and his car was #8, in the early 1950's he drove at Exhibition Park and in the 1960's at Hammond River. He was an avid hockey player and played in the Commercial League as a goalie. One of his passions was hunting and fishing. He was a member of the I.L.A. #273. Surviving in addition to his wife Theresa are one son Frederick H. (Maria) of B.C.; three daughters Mary Laylia Nice (Jeffery) of Glenwood, Holly Louise Noble (Donald) of Saint John, and Karen Lorain Gautreau of Saint John; three brothers Jean-Claude (Melda) of Lorneville, Norman (Audrey) of Saint John and Ronald of Saint John; one sister Yolanda Robichaud of Saint John; nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Lawrence, Terrance, Leopold and Leonard; sister Vivian McCarron. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Donald Puhach December 07, 1925 - December 07, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Suddenly on December 7, 2005 after a brief illness Don passed away, the day of his 80th birthday. He is survived by his brother Boris Puhach (Olga), Lavinia Aftanas (Ron), Audrey Stefanyshen (Steve) and sister Marjorie Bridgeman; his three daughters, Carol Collignon (Rod), Diane Rybak (Frank), Tracy Proskie (Keith) and two grandsons, Reece and Aaron Proskie. Don was an avid outdoorsman, just waiting for the changing of the seasons so he could head out with friends and family members hunting and fishing and then coming home and telling stories of the big one that got away. Parkinson’s took its toll on Don and for the first time in his life he had to depend on other people to provide for him. He moved into Concordia Place nursing home on January 2002 where the staff and residents accepted him as family and a friend. A very special thank-you to uncle Steve and his brother and sisters for all their time and patience in helping and guiding Don through the time in his life when his health prevented him from being the independent spirit that he so wished to be. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 17, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment and reception to follow.
