He was born October 20, 1954 in Sussex, NB, the son of the late Aubrey and Cora (Forsyth) Dempster. He is survived by Carol and their children, Kent (Laurie) and Kelly-Jo Dempster and Brent Dempster all of Hamilton, ON, Debbie Gionet and their son, Brent of Norton; grandchildren, Austin, Kody, Noelle and Shyan; sisters, Louise Mitchell of Saint John, Irene and Peter Owen of Saint John, Sharon and Stephen Chase of Bloomfield, and Sandra Dempster and Paul Walsh of Salt Springs; special friend, Connie; and several nephews and nieces. Joe was predeceased by brothers, Arnold and Fred Dempster. Emile Landry Memramcook - Emile Landry of Foyer Saint Thomas, Memramcook passed away at his residence on Thursday December 20, 2007 at the age of 86. Born in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Edouard Landry and the late Marie Bourque. He was a machinist in enamel and heat until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Georgette (Leger) Landry and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Lilianne, Pheobe and Emma and by five brothers, Philippe, Alfred, Yvon, Maxime and Arthur. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Rte La Vallée, Memramcook on Friday December 21 from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday December 22 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic church, St-Joseph on Saturday December 22 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Edgar Joseph Landry 1930 - 2007 The death of Edgar Joseph Landry, husband of Jeannette (Cormier) Landry, of Lester St. Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday December 19, 2007. Born in Moncton on July 30, 1930 he was the son of the late Pierre and Melina Landry. Together with his wife Jeannette they owned and operated Star Janitorial for many years prior to his retirement. In addition to his wife Jeannette, he is survived by his daughter, Linda Phillips (Don), his sons Donald (Pauline), David (Shelley), Jean-Claude (Elizabeth) all of Moncton and Roger (Lisa) of Dieppe. He is also survived by his brothers Fred Landry and Paul Saulnier; as well as 11 grand children; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; one son Peter; one daughter Sandra; his sister Dora; and his brothers Emery, Henry and Neri. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street with visiting on Friday December 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Parish Prayers will be held Friday evening at the funeral home. Isaac Reis Pascual Pagtakhan On December 18th, 2007 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Isaac Reis Pascual Pagtakhan, beloved son of Mabini Joy and Reis Pagtakhan; brother of Kailani Joy and Addison Reese; grandson of Philip and Lisa Pascual and Hon. Dr. Rey and Gloria Pagtakhan, died unborn in the womb of his mother. GRAHAM, Jack William “Six Pack Jack“ - On Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the age of 66, with his boys by his side. Beloved husband of the late Sharon Elizabeth Mae (Willis) Graham (1985). Loving father of Stephen (Carolyn), Michael (Julie), and Richard. Jack was extremely proud of his grandchildren Alex, Kyle, Connor, and Tori and bragged about them constantly. Also survived by his sister Alice (Bruce) Minty, brother Alan (Marlene) Graham and families, father in law Morley Willis, brother in law Bill (Judy) Willis, sister in law Louanna (Dave) Hudgel, and brother in law Frank (Jane) Willis, sister in law Margaret Willis, brother in law Sonny Gibbs and many nieces and nephews, and a special friend Voyle Jordan. He was born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan on April 17, 1942. He is survived by his loving wife for forty-six years, Virginia. Also left to cherish his memory are his three children, Vance (Betty-Jo) (Sherri), Kevin (Anne) and Jennifer (Dan). SHERLEY, Walter Hilding Walter passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by Joan, his wife of sixty-three years; as well as his children, Shireen (Garry) Patience, Bruce (Roberta), Mark (Cathy), Paul (Lynn) and Leanne (Brian) Howes; grandchildren Dean, Kim, Craig, Alison, Ken, Jillian, Malynda, Steven, Wil and Alaina; and great-grandchildren Christopher, Alexandra and Sammy. Walter is also survived by his brothers Hjalmar and Alfred and his sister Florence Egger. He was predeceased by his parents, Edmund and Edla as well as his infant daughter Carol Ann. Walter was born and raised in Calgary and for many years was a member of the Native Calgarian Society. He served in the RCAF (Radar) during World War II in the U.K., where he met Joan, who became the love of his life and best friend. Walter was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humour. He enjoyed many gatherings with his family and friends. He loved camping and fishing and was a natural entertainer, always ready to lead the singing at parties and around the campfire. Music was a big part of Walter's life; he wrote songs and played numerous instruments, and was a member of the Harmonicas Tableau and the leader of the family's Mariachi Band. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. C. Fletcher, Dr. B. Manns, and the homecare services for their support and kindness during the past several years.
