GABRIEL, Elizabeth Ann (nee Edwards), It is with great sadness that Sharon and John announce the passing of their Mother, Ann Gabriel. Predeceased by her husband Fredrick John (Jack) Rowsell. BRUGMAN, Magdalena "Lennie" (Oma), Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the age of 75. Dear wife of Joe Brugman Sr. Loving mother of Joe Jr. (Laurie) Brugman, Fred (Elizabeth) Brugman and Joepy (Kathy) B rugman, all of Niagara Falls. EAST WINTHROP -- June S. Turgeon, 84, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Winthrop Manor. She was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on June 2, 1921, the daughter of Dougald Edwin and M. Maude (Stephens) McCatherin. At age 2, June moved with her family from Canada to Portland, and it was there that she received her education. She graduated from Lincoln Junior High and Deering High School and attended Northeastern Business College in Portland. After graduation, she became the female vocalist with the many dance bands in the Portland area and appeared in most of the dance pavilions operating at that time. She also performed at college proms, home and auto shows, and on WCSH radio in Portland.June married Raymond Turgeon on Oct. 6, 1940, and they lived in Westbrook, where their first two children were born. June and the children, Carleton and Joyce, remained there while Ray served in the Army in Europe during World War II. The family moved to East Winthrop in 1950, where the three youngest children were born, and has remained there since. All five children graduated from Winthrop High School and attended the University of Maine.June continued her interest in music and singing with East Winthrop Baptist Church, the CODA Chorus, the Bank of Maine Singers and the East Winthrop Bell Ringers. When the children were older, she went to work for the state Bureau of Taxation and later the fish and wildlife department.June was preceded in death by her oldest son, Carleton Brian "Smiley" Turgeon, on Feb. 25, 1995; and also by four brothers and four sisters, Stuart, Charles, Harry and John "Jack" McCatherin and Helen McCatherin, Jean Weller, Adelaide Morgan and Marion Walton.She is survived by her husband, Raymond; two sons, Paul Turgeon and his wife, Kristin, of Atlanta, and Thomas Turgeon and his wife, Melissa, also of Atlanta; two daughters, Joyce Turgeon of Groton, Conn., and Patti Sapp and her husband, John, of Mahomet, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. LEWISTON - Lorraine R. Riegelmann, 74, passed away peacefully on June 23, at d'Youville Pavilion with her family at her side.She was born on May 25, 1931, in Lewiston, the youngest daughter of Leo and Marie (Blanchette) Pare.She was a lifelong learner, continually taking various classes most of her life. She worked many years at the Star Store. When they closed, she began her career in insurance with Boston Mutual and later enjoyed investing in real estate.She was a strong minded, independent woman who enjoyed traveling, going to plays and especially spending time with her family. She was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be deeply missed.She is survived by her daughter, Ann Long and partner, Gunnar Olson; grandchildren, Stephanie Adams and Benjamin Small; great-grandchildren, Corey, Matthew and Jack Adams; sisters, Fern Bardier and Marie Conrad; brothers, Bert and wife, Connie Pare, Paul and wife, Connie Poulin, and Roger Poulin; former husband, John Riegelmann; former sister- and brother-in-law Marie and Ray Martin; and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents; her stepmother, Jeannette Pare; and her brother, Robert.

She then worked at Grandview Nursery as secretary for some 20 years. She was very active in many clubs such as: Golden Age Club where she served as queen for the state of Louisiana in 1998, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, she was a Navy Seabees Honey Bee, and a member of AARP. She loved to travel, sew, and play Bingo. Most of all, she truly cherished spending time with her family and always was concerned for their well being. She was so proud of her children and all of her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lloyd L. STOREY, Helen Florence Passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital on June 22, 2005 after a long struggle with cancer. Helen was born September 24, 1924 to Annie and George Coupland in Maznog, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her husbands Dominic Rotunda and George Storey. Helen will be greatly missed by her beloved sister Olive Pritchard (Jim) of Ottawa. She was also predeceased by her brother Bill Coupland. Helen's career included secretary at the Winnipeg General Hospital and the Brill Hat and Cap Co., and as a paralegal with the law firm of Asper and Associates. She was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews in Ottawa, Winnipeg and Wisconsin. Earl N. Routhieaux, 90, Green Bay, died at home Thursday morning, June 23, 2005. Born in Green Bay on April 24, 1915, he was the son of the late Norman and Mary (Bender) Routhieaux. After graduating from East High School, Earl worked as a salesman for Libert Motor Supply for 30 years and Truck Equipment for 12 years, retiring in 1980.Earl married the former Marie Casper on April 20, 1940 and she preceded him in death on August of 1976. He married the former Rita (Noel) Hibbert-Steffen in February of 1977, and they lived at his home on Shawano Lake. Earl and Rita spent the winter months in Lakeland, Florida for many years.Earl had a zest for life and a story to share with everyone. He loved “cottage life”, baseball, listening to big band music, going out with friends, and dancing. He was an avid golfer and member of Shalagoco Golf Club. Earl was artistic, with woodworking being his special passion. He generously created special projects in his workshop for his family, friends and neighbors. Earl was a member of Elks Club # 401 and a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus Council 617 as a Fourth Degree Knight. John Brunette, 80, Green Bay, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005. He was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Green Bay, to George and Mamie Brunette and was a lifelong Green Bay resident. During World War II, John served in the U.S. Navy. He was married to his wife, Ann, for over 40 years. She preceded him in death in 2000. WALTON, J. EDWARD (TRAPPER) - Trapper passed away June 21, 2005 in Nanaimo, B.C. at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joann and sons and daughters. He was predeceased by his oldest daughter, Darlene. Trapper was a Korean War veteran and career soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces. He later 'retired' to the N.W.T. to work for another twenty years in the mining community and then afterwards enjoyed a 'snowbird' life travelling between Mexico and Canada. Adele Boyd May 09, 1954 - June 22, 2005 Peacefully with her family by her side, Adele Boyd passed away at the Health Sciences in Winnipeg on June 22nd, 2005 at 7:15 p.m. at the age of 51 years old. She was born in Poplar River, Manitoba and she had resided in Winnipeg most of her life. ROUGEUX, EDITH H., born May 3, 1922, passed away June 21, 2005, with her loving family at her side in her home in Oviedo. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA, and moved to the Orlando area with her family in 1953. She was a lifelong member of the Women of the Moose. She was an enthusiastic gardener and spent many enjoyable years as a member of the Straw Hat Garden Club. She retired from the Orange County school system in 1984. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She never met a stranger. She made friends wherever she went. She spent much of her time involved with children's projects. She enjoyed cards, bingo and travel. She will be greatly missed by her family as well as by her loving cats, Boots and Missy. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Gerald (Jerry) Rougeux. Julien, Genevieve M. -- June 21, 2005 Genevieve M. Julien, 92, of Minoa, passed away at home. She was born in Ogdensburg and graduated from St. Mary's Academy. She worked as a food service manager for East Syracuse School District and as a caterer. She was a communicantof St. Mary's Church, Minoa and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a life-member and past president of the Minoa Fire Department Auxiliary and the Columbietts. She was a member of the Minoa Golden Age Club and the Heman Street Mothers Club. She won many 1st and 2nd place ribbons at the State Fair for her crochet and knitting. Her husband, Adelard L. Julien died in 1982.
