WISEMAN, Carson E. WW II Veteran of P.L.D.G. Of Ottawa formely of Buckingham, PQ, passed away peacefully at the Perley and Rideau Veteran's Health Care Centre on February 14, 2005 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Vera M. Kennedy for 63 years. Son of the late Ernest D. Wiseman and the late Lena M. Hardy. Survived by his brother Earl (Dora) of Buckingham, PQ, Thurlow, late (Alice) of Ottawa, sister Margaret, beloved wife of the late J. Laforce and the late E. Potter of Brantford, ON. Predeceased by his sisters, Ruby Price (Warner), Nina Teske (Herbert) and brother Percy. He will be forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. DUCOLON, Emerson "Duke". Died peacefully surrounded by his family on February 13, 2005 at the age of sixty-eight after a 4 1/2 year courageous battle with cancer. OBITUARY WILLIAM MACPHAIL MARTIN Died at Royal Victoria Hospital on Saturday, February 12, 2005. Born in Heatherdale, PEI, in 1919, he graduated in engineering from Queen's University in 1941 and was seconded as a radar officer to the Royal Navy during WWII. He earned his Ph.D. at McGill University and then taught at Queen's and McGill, retiring as Professor of Physics in 1985. Beloved husband of Edith, dear father of Janet (Stewart), Sandra (Roger), Ann (Tom) and Margret (Elroy) and loving stepfather of David (Katherine) and Jane (Joe). He is deeply mourned by twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved first wife Flo and his granddaughters Laurel and Meghan. ROBSON, Lucy L. The death of Lucy Robson occured at home in Quispamsis, unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 15, 2005. Born in Montreal, she is the daughter of Muriel Collins and the late Lawrence Collins, as well as a beloved wife and friend to Victor Robson. She was a loving mother to Erin, at home and a son Anthony who passed in 1991. Lucy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lucy was employed by the Province of NB as a Training and Development Counsellor. In addition to her father and son, she was predeceased by her brother Michael. TATLOW, Dr. William F.T. 1915-2005. Passed away peacefully at the Montreal General on February 15, 2005. He had been doing what he loved - out for his morning jog when he fell. Born in Yorkshire, England, he came to Canada to work in McGill University's various hospitals in the Neurology departments. Even at the age of eighty-nine, he was still working at the Montreal General and spent most of his time doing research on pharmaceutical and biotechnical companies. He will be missed by Belinda, his wife of forty years, and his surviving children John, Susie, Sally and Rebecca, and grandchildren Susannah, Michael, Tessa and Ian. He was predeceased by his son Robert. Cherished great-aunt of eleven great-nieces and nephews. Erika will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed the company of others and always knew how to put a smile on their faces. For many years and with great energy and enthusiasm, Erika headed the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Latvian Relief Society Daugavas Vanagi Montreal Branch. In 2004 Erika began a new stage in life when she entered St. Margaret's Home, and to everyone's surprise, her youthful vitality re-emerged thanks to the loving care and support of the staff, volunteers and residents of St. Margaret's. Christopher John Cooper (1965-2005) The family announces with great sorrow the passing of beloved son and brother, Chris, on Friday, February 11 at his home in Ottawa, after a courageous battle with cancer. MATTHEWS, Evelyn Kathleen Mary (Lynne), Lynne passed away on February 12, 2005, at Hotel Dieu Hospital, after a brief bout of pneumonia, at the age of 85. A loving wife and mother, she is remembered with love and gratitude by her husband Jim, by son s Vaughan and Brett, and by daughters-in-law Jessica and Margaret. She will be lovingly remembered by two surviving sisters, Marge and Wilene, both from Winnipeg, and by nieces and nephews Adaire, Kerry, Paul, Stephen and Susan. Lynne who has lived i n St. Catharines since 1965, will also be remembered by many in the city for her skills as a high school teacher and as a community organizer. In 1996 she won the Mayor's Award of Merit for her work as president of the Glenridge Landfill Citizens Com mittee. In October 2004 the city opened a park in her name on the site of the former Glenridge landfill. In memory of Lynne there will be a service followed by a reception at St. George's Anglican Church, 83 Church St., St. Catharines at 11 a.m. on F riday, February 18th. Dale J. Brunette, 72, died unexpectedly at home of an apparent heart attack on Monday, Feb. 14, 2005. He was a willing helper to anyone who needed a hand and would always help his children and grandchildren with all of the various projects they were involved in. He liked animals and would spend his time feeding hundreds of birds as well as squirrels and deer. He also liked old cars and shooting pool. Dale was a true Packer fan for many years. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Dale was born June 14, 1932, to Leo and Alma (Marks) Brunette. He was a 1951 graduate of Catholic Central High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. On Dec. 28, 1955, he married Joan Allen. Joseph "J.D." Duval Champagne Jr., 80, a native of Theriot, former resident of Houma and resident of Lake Arthur, died at 12:07 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005. TOPSHAM - Priscilla M. Pelletier, 83, of Middlesex Road, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 at Maine Medical Center following a brief illness with her family by her side.She was born in St. Agatha, on Aug. 17, 1921, the daughter of Levy O. and Anne Chamberland Chasse. She grew up on the family farm in St. Agatha and moved to Brunswick to work in the mill in 1940.On Feb. 14, 1942 she married Wallace A. Pelletier at St. John's Church in Brunswick, they made their home in Topsham.Following her marriage, Priscilla worked in the kitchen at Bowdoin College and also waitressing for different events on the campus. She retired from Bowdoin College in 1983 after 41 years of service.Her true love was her family and the church. She was a caring and giving person who prayed for everyone.She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. John's prayer group, Ladies of St. Anne, Third Order of Mary, and the American Legion Ladies Auxilary Post 202 in Topsham.She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years on March 5, 2000; a son, Jerry R. Pelletier in 1981; a brother Norman Chasse; and three sisters, Mabel Gandreau, Marie Noella Pelletier, and Theresa Morin.She is survived by two daughters, Joanne and her husband Luvie Pitts of Enterprise, Ala., and Dorothy Pelletier of Brunswick; a son, Harold W. and his wife Donna Pelletier of Caribou; three grandchildren, Sandy Howard of Alabama, Brad Pelletier of Caribou, and John Pelletier of Kansas; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Howard of Alabama, Aubrey Lee Pelletier of Caribou, and Crystal Sheffield of Alabama; three sisters, Irene St. Pierre of Westbrook, Lucille Collin of Southington, Conn., and Gladys Perron of Sarasota, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Demers-Desmond Funeral Home, 34 Cushing St., Brunswick.
