Loving mother of Peter Radley and his wife Frances of Kingston. SUMMERS (formerly Woodward, nee Crysler), Viola May, Passed away peacefully at Heritage Place (Pleasant Manor) in Virgil with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her first husband Den Woodward and h er second husband Benjamin Summers. Survived by her brother Lewis (Dorothy) Crysler and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Crysler, all of Fonthill. Survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Viola was predeceased by her parents Wil liam (Maude) Crysler, brother Orlin Crysler, nephews Gary Crysler, Richard Crysler and Bill Summers. Viola was a teacher for several years teaching music to hundreds of children until her retirement. Viola's love of music extended to playing her pian o at Heritage Place (Pleasant Manor). Viola also did a lot of travelling with her late husband Ben. Viola was an active member of Lundy's Lane U.C.W. STARK, Ivy Lillian (nee Garrard), Peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in her 85th year. Born July 5, 1920, the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine Garrard. Devoted wife of Michael Stark, her husband of 53 years and loved mother of Michele (Gregory) Legge, David and Timothy (Anita). Beloved grandmother of Jessica (Alex) Middleweek and Amanda Stark. Also left to mourn is Linda Stark. Proud and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews in England, Canada and the U.S.A.; survived also by her cousin Wyn Harvey in England. Ivy will be sadly missed by her devoted Sunday Brunch friends. Predeceased by her daughter Stephanie (1981), Granddaughter Christine (2000) and and her sibl ings Robert (Len), Florence, Louise, Joyce and David. Born in England, Ivy was a nursing sister during World War II. She came to Welland after the war where she worked as a nurse in the old Welland Hospital and she met and married Mike. In 1955 they founded the L&M Ambulance Service, one of the first professional ambulance services in the Niagara Peninsula. She always considered her children and family her first priority. LAMBERT, Ernest (Ernie), At the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 in his 49th year. Beloved son of Monique Lambert. Loving father of Gillian Lambert (Mike McLay) of St. Catharines and R.J. Lambert of Waterloo. He will be m issed by his granddaughter Kayla Treflick. He is survived by his brother Donald (Nancy), his sisters Sharon (Hugh) Sanders and Janet (Daryl) Brain, all of St. Catharines. He will also be missed by several cousins, nieces and nephews. ANDERSON, GEORGE CAMPBELL Born in Scarborough, Ontario, May 25, 1921. Entered eternity with his Lord on January 23, 2005. In his youth, George played his trumpet at many music festivals and church rallies. At the age of 19, he was accepted into the Toronto Symphony Orchestra where he had a long and distinguished career. For a number of those years he played first trumpet. During WWII, George played with the Army Band overseas. For a few years he served as the President of the Toronto Musicians Association. More than anything, George was devoted to his wife Tina, who was his ever present companion and helpmate. As a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he was loved deeply. He leaves a gap in our lives, and wonderful memories in our hearts. CAPE ELIZABETH - Gloria Jean (Bernard) Pinkham, 72, wife of the late Dana C. Pinkham, died unexpectedly Jan. 24, 2005, at her home in Cape Elizabeth. She was born Oct. 5, 1932, in West Enfield, the daughter of Edward and Celia (Beaulieu) Bernard. Gloria enjoyed reading home decorating magazines, gardening and traveling. She lived in Florida for several winters after her retirement and was a very loving, caring and self sufficient woman right up to the time of her death. She enjoyed social gatherings where she would engage in stimulating conversations about current events. Never one not to smile, she regularly attended the Senior Friends weekly dance, and always dressed for success. Gloria enjoyed the happenings of city life-the theater, music, etc. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, and attended Holy Cross Church in South Portland. In addition to her husband, Dana C., who died in 1995, she was predeceased by a son, Dana Pinkham Jr., in 1996; and a brother, George Bernard in 1987. She is survived by three children, Rachel Manning, Michael Pinkham and David Pinkham; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Day and Priscilla Reynolds; two brothers, Edward Bernard and Francis Bernard; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Blanchard Jr., Joseph C. A retired building inspector for the city-parish, native of Napoleonville and resident of Baton Rouge, he went to be with his Lord at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at his son's residence. He was 89 and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Bourque, 72, of Twin Island Acres, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at Southern Maine Medical Center following a long illness.He was born in Biddeford on March 16, 1932, the son of Eugene and Laudiana Jacques Bourque and was educated in Biddeford schools.Mr. Bourque served in the United States Army during the Korean War.On Nov. 27, 1954, he married Therese Gadbois at St. Andre's Church in Biddeford.After the War he went to work with his brother at Lucien Bourque Inc. and retired in 1990 as its president. Afterwards he continued to work in the construction industry, primarily with Phil Labbe Excavating until October 2004.Mr. Bourque was a member of St. Andre's Church and a Eucharistic Minister there; he enjoyed carving wood, fishing and hunting, golfing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the American Legion and the Dutch Elm Golf Course.He was predeceased by a son, Daniel Bourque in December of 1957; and by two brothers Rene in 1990 and Lucien in 1998Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Therese Gadbois Bourque of Biddeford; two sons, Norman Bourque and his wife Pearl of Topsham, and Marc Bourque and his wife Jackie of Biddeford; two brothers, Charles Bourque of Saco, and Leo Bourque of Biddeford; two sisters, Yvette Gagnon of Canaan, and Jeannette Bisson of Townsend, Mass.; five grandchildren, Michelle, Nicholas, Jonathan, Ryan and Nikki; and several nieces and nephewsThere will be no visiting hours. He was also a veteran of WWII having served with the Army of Occupation in both Japan and Korea. Private services will be held at the Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, Brandon, with internment at the Bushnell Military Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Shirley (Chatterton) Emond, 76, of Wethersfield, wife of Gilbert Emond, died suddenly on Tuesday, (January 25, 2005) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Fabiola and Roy Chatterton of Hartford. She was a graduate of Wethersfield High School. Shirley worked with the Travelers Insurance Company for 42 years as a typist. A life long resident of Wethersfield. His educational career was the subject of a doctoral dissertation by Dr. Evelyn Nettles Conerly entitled "Thomas Ray Landry, Louisiana Educator." SALEM, N.H. - Roger J. Ouellette, 77, formerly of Lawrence, died yesterday, Jan. 26, at Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Pauline F. (Michaud) Ouellette, to whom he had been married for 55 years.He was born in Lawrence, on July 5, 1927, son of the late Alphonse and Lucina (Sirois) Ouellette. He was educated at St. Anne Grammar School and continued his education at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence. He lived in Lawrence for most of his life until moving to Salem 30 years ago.Mr. Ouellette was a Navy veteran as a seaman second class, on the USNTC Sampson Vessel and the USS Kwajalein. He received the World War II Victory Medal, the American Area Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Area Medal.Before his retirement, he was employed at AT&T in North Andover as a printed wiring inspector for more than 27 years.Mr. Ouellette was a communicant of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem.He was a member of the VFW in Salem, the local union CWA 365 in North Andover and the Pelham Partner Square Dancing Club.Mr. Ouellette enjoyed war movies, vanilla ice cream, the winter months with lots of heavy snow, hunting and camping.Besides his wife, his survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elaine A. and Frank Grelle, and Diane L. and Dana Muise, all of Methuen, and Joanne M. Ouellette of Pepperell; two grandchildren, Amy D. Evans of Larkspur, Calif., and Tara K. Victorine C. Scott -- November 11, 1918 - January 26, 2005 -- DANIELSON - Victorine C. Scott, 86, died on Wednesday at Windham Community Memorial Hospital in Willimantic. She was the wife of the late Everett R. Scott, who died on December 17, 1975. They were married in June 1940 at St. James Church in Danielson. Mrs. Scott was born in Danielson on November 11, 1918, the daughter of the late Adelard and Alma (Paquin) Rainville. She attended St. James School in Danielson. Upon completion of her education, she married and devoted herself to the raising and care of her family. She was a member of the Quinebaug Valley Senior Citizens of Brooklyn, and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson. Mrs. Scott was the last survivor of thirteen children. She leaves a son, Ronald Scott, Sr., and his wife, Mary of Danielson; a daughter, Mary Lee Vacca of Brooklyn; five grandchildren, Jason and Adam Vacca, Ronald Scott, Jr., Tammy St. Martin, and Sara Guimont; five greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers and five sisters. BROCKTON, Mass. -- Francis J. Roberge, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at home after a period of failing health. Born in Taunton, Mass., a son of the late Alfred and Lucinda (Ayotte) Roberge, he grew up and was educated in Easton, Mass. He resided in New Bedford, Mass., from 1948 to 1971, in Concord from 1971 to 1994 and in Brockton, Mass., for the last 10 years. He was a 1945 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Mass., and he then served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. While living in New Bedford, Mass., he worked for Aerovox and Cornell-Dubelier Companies as a quality controller. While in Concord, he was again a quality controller with Structures Unlimited. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling. Francis leaves a daughter, Pamela Cruz of New Bedford; a son, Steven Roberge of Springfield, Neb.; a sister, Isabelle Petros, and a brother, Wilfred Roberge, both of Easton, Mass.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Helen M. (Cole) Roberge. He was brother of the late Alfred, Leo, Alec and Victor Roberge, Grace Zinsius, Alice Fedolfi, Lillian Ottino and Annette Cavaco. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 5 to 8 p.m. at George L. Copeland & Son Funeral Home, 38 Center St., Easton. Mass. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Easton, Mass. Burial will be held in the Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass. Fernand Gerard Roy, 77, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday morning, January 25, 2005 at his home in Canaan. He was born on November 5, 1927 in Paquetteville, Quebec, the son of Amedee and Emerilda (Pivian) Roy. He attended school in Canada, and had lived in Canaan for 43 years. He was married to Suzanne Paquette on July 7, 1956. He was employed at the Division of Ethan Allen in Beecher Falls for 24 years before he retired in 1990. He also worked at the North Stratford paper mill, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Fernand enjoyed playing cards, playing pool, camping and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Suzanne Roy of Canaan; his seven children, Pauline and her husband Fabrice Olivier of Coaticook, Quebec, Claude Roy and his wife Sylvie, Roland Roy and his wife Gloria, Raymond Roy and his wife Louise, Andre Roy and his wife Debbie, Nicole and her husband Bernard Charest, and Angele and her husband Mike Patenaude, all of Canaan; two brothers, Gerard Roy of Coati-cook and Roger Roy of East Hereford, Quebec; a sister, Georgette St. Pierre of Paquetteville, Quebec; and fourteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Calling hours were held on Thursday afternoon and evening at the Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at The Assumption Church in Canaan, by the Reverend Craig Cheney and the Reverend Albert Bellefeuille on Friday morning. Burial will be in the spring at St. Albert cemetery in West Stewartstown, NH.

Rudolph R. "Rudy" St. Pierre -- He was born in Dracut, on Sept. 13, 1927, son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Bussiere) St. Pierre. He received his education in the Lowell School System.An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. St. Pierre served in the Army during the Korean War as a private first class.He had been employed for many years as a heavy-equipment operator by Drum Hill Construction in Chelmsford. In his early years, he had been employed as an auxiliary police officer by the town of Dracut.In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and was a scout master in Dracut for many years.In addition to his wife, his survivors include two daughters, Susan St. Pierre of Goffstown, N.H. and Cathy Boucher of Windham, N.H.; five sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas and Linda St. Pierre, of Lowell, Richard St. Pierre of Bradford, N.H., Alfred St. Pierre of Londonderry, N.H., Michael St. Pierre of Litchfield, N.H., and Daniel and Jan Smith, of Taunton; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Jean St. Pierre, of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews.He was also the brother of the late Pete St. Pierre. A native and life resident of New Orleans, she is the daughter of the late Paul Louis and Anita Bouligny Villere. Mrs. Lapeyre was a member of the Bouligny Foundation Historical Society, Orleans Club, Le Petit Salon, Causeries du Lundi, Colonial Dames, Daughter of the American Revolution, Freedom Foundation, the Founders of the City of New Orleans and she was Tzarina of Alexis in 1986. In 1949, Mrs. Lapeyre was awarded the Magnificat Medal of Mundelein College, Chicago, in recognition for her service to God and Society. Tendre époux de Charlotte Demers, fils de feu Rémi Ménard et de feu Amanda Pilon, il était le père bien-aimé de Monique (Gaëtan Lascelles) de Hawkesbury, Marcel (May Timbers) de l'Ile Perreault, Yves (Louise Paquette) de Hawkesbury, Joanne (Reynald Vivier) de Val-des-Monts. Grand-père adoré de 18 petits-enfants et 24 arrière-petits-enfants, il était le cher frère de Noëlla (feu Lionel Gougeon) de l'Orignal, Jeanne Deslauriers de Hawkesbury, Yvonne (feu Charles Lahaie) de Hawkesbury. Il fut prédécédé par 6 frères: Armand, Donat, Alfred, Delry, Jean et Omer (Georgette Hoffman) de Hawkesbury; 2 soeurs: Dora Lacelle et Blanche Pitre. Lui survivent également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et amis. La famille invite parents et amis au SALON FUNÉRAIRE BERTHIAUME LTÉE, 416, rue McGill, Hawkesbury (Ontario), 877-632-8511, le vendredi 28 janvier 2005 de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 22h et le samedi 29 janvier 2005 à compter de 9h30. Les obsèques auront lieu en l'église Ascension de Notre-Seigneur de Hawkesbury le samedi 29 janvier 2005 à 11h. Séguin, Juliette LA FAMILLE SÉGUIN a le regret de vous annoncer le décès de Mme Juliette Séguin Née Dion de Gatineau, décédée le mercredi 26 janvier 2005, à l'âge de 88 ans. Elle était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Roméo Séguin, la fille de feu Onésime Dion et de feu Angélina Bédard. Elle laisse 1 fille, Pierrette (Denis Dagenais) et 1 fils, Claude (Adèle Dion). Elle était grand-maman de 3 petits-enfants: Julie, Martine et Caroline ainsi que 4 arrière-petits-enfants: Alexandre Dagenais, Alexandre Brisson, Malisya et Maëlle. Elle fut prédécédée par 1 soeur: Cécile (Feu Wilfrid Boisvert). Elle laisse également plusieurs neveux et nièces. Elle fut pendant de nombreuses années une bénévole du centre des aînés de Gatineau et était membre des Filles d'Isabelle, cercle St-Jean Vianney, Gatineau. Un merci spécial au personnel du 7e étage Nord du CHVO de Gatineau pour les bons soins, leur compassion et leur soutien prodigués à Mme Dion. Elle fut membre de plusieurs organismes tels que les Filles d'Isabelle, Club d'âge d'or, Cercle de fermières, cursillistes, etc. Elle reposera au centre communautaire de Montpellier, rue Principale, Montpellier, le vendredi 28 janvier de 19h à 22h, ainsi que le samedi 29 janvier à compter de 10h.
