PROULX, Nicole - 1948-2009 Nicole Proulx est décédée à la Cité de la santé de Laval, le 24 juillet 2009, des complications d'une endocardite. Elle laisse dans le deuil et la consternation son mari, André Burelle, ses trois enfants, Yan Burelle (Sophie Charpentier), Mathieu Burelle (Lysanne Lacouture) et Julie Burelle (David Barner) ses sept petits-enfants, Charlotte, Théo, Lohan, Sacha, Louis, Léonard et Anouk, de même que ses frères et soeurs et sa belle famille. Nicole Proulx était jusqu'à récemment chef du service du prêt à BAnQ. Elle a oeuvré durant des années à la Bibliothèque municipale de Gatineau et mis sur pied le centre de documentation du CCCSF. Parents, collègues et amis sont invités à la saluer une dernière fois le 2 août de 14 h à 17 h et de 19 h à 22 h ainsi que le 3 août dès 9 h chez Alfred Dallaire Memoria, au Mausolée St-Martin (édifice située à l'arrière du complexe) 2159, boul. Outre sa famille religieuse, elle laisse dans le deuil sa soeur, Mme Marie-Reine Lalonde, de même que ses nombreux neveux et nièces. WALLACE, Carol Ann Peacefully, with courage and dignity, Carol Wallace passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 age 61 years. Carol was the wife of the late Glenn Wallace. Dearly loved mother of Cassandra Greer (Glen), Tanya Wallace (Steve Gaw), and Beverley Schulte (Bernie). Nana will be forever missed by her cherished grandchildren Ainsley, Heidi, Grace, Cecille, and Markus. MARTIN, Isabelle A resident of New Horizons, Campbell River, BC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2009 aged seventy-nine. KIEMENY , Adrianus "Andy" Andy Kiemeny died peacefully with his family by his side on July 27, 2009. He is survived by his five children Dennis (Debbie), Ruth Ann (Andy), Yvonne (Ken), Debbie (Lee) and Michael (Christine); grandchildren Doug (Katie), Deanne (Mike), Dana (Curtis), Will (Jen), Jason, Steven, Darren, Tammy, Shaun, Ryan, Samantha, and Adrianna; great-grandchildren Noah, Gracie, and Ben; his sister Theresa Ristau and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson Jeffery and parents Hubert and Adriana. Andy was an innovator and if it did not quite work for him he adjusted it just a little. He loved fishing, hunting, playing crib, photography, telling jokes, hot springs, and visiting friends. Andy was an active member in the Sacred Heart Church and Knights of Columbus. He supported Scouts Canada, Army Reserves, 4-H and Snow Birds. TAYLOR , Candace Mary Elizabeth (nee Simpson) October 27, 1916 July 27, 2009 Candace Taylor passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Candace was born in Myrtle, Manitoba on October 27, 1916. She was a contended and spiritual woman who was always ready with a helping hand. She spent many happy years gardening, square dancing and wintering in Mesa, Arizona. She enjoyed her last few years at Aspen Lodge with her cousin, Burton Simpson and continued her special relationship with Fairview Baptist Church. She lived a long healthy life and was a model patient during her brief and final illness. Candace is survived by her brother James (Ruby) Simpson of Manitoba; nephew James (Roberta) Simpson; nieces Thelma Shineton and Janie (Donald) Orchard; as well as many great-nephews and nieces of Calgary, Alberta. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wellington Scott of Deerwood, Manitoba in 1972; and by her second husband George Taylor of Calgary, Alberta in 2003. THEOFAN , Leon (Leo) Leo passed away in Victoria, BC on July 25, 2009 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Winnipeg, MB. on December 5, 1928, he was predeceased by his wife Patricia and leaves to mourn, his companion and long-time friend, Pat Thompson and all the Thompson family in Alberta who accepted him into their hearts; his children Glennis, Kim and George and their families; his brother Frank and many friends from Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC. Leo served in the RCN during WWII. He was connected with the Sea Cadet Corps for many years before retiring with the position of Commanding Officer of the Medicine Hat Sea Cadets. In his youth, Leo loved platform diving, winning many awards. He loved to swim, skate and snow ski and was an instructor at the ski hill in Calgary now called Canada Olympic Park. Leo loved the game of hockey and on several occasions, was called up to play goal for the Montreal Canadiens. He lived for many years in Moose Jaw and was involved with the Moose Jaw junior hockey team. For many years, he was the manager and engineer at the Medicine Hat hockey arena being very involved with the Medicine Hat Tigers Hockey Club. Leo moved to Calgary in the early 1960's and worked at Happy Valley as their public relations director. He then became property manager for Abacus Cities in Calgary and also in Victoria before branching out with a partner forming Landan Property Management in Calgary until his retirement back to Victoria in 1984. He then started a fishing charter business out of the Oak Bay Marina on his boat, MAX III. His most memorable client was George Bush Sr. in 1996 but he entertained many other celebrities and great clients who he enjoyed talking to about their experiences. There will be no formal Service. An informal gathering may be considered at a later date to remember Leo's life. BEAUDETTE, Jeannette Marie-Ange (Seguin) - Died as she lived, with grace and dignity on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at St. Catharines General Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 80. Beloved wife for 56 years of Joseph Aime and loving mother of Paul Beaudette (Kathy Simon), Mary Anne Beaudette (Mark Seymour), Jacqueline Ketellapper, Madeleine Ward (Bruce), Denise Campbell (Bob), Michael Beaudette (Jennifer) and Susan Arnold (Stephen). Predeceased by daughter Carolyn (1996). Dear mother-in-law of Geoff Marinoff (Maria). Jeannette is sadly missed by her siblings, Yvette McCormick (Cameron), Rene Seguin (Carmen) and Gabriel Seguin (Kay); predeceased by brothers Lionel and Aime. Jeannette spent her final days rejoicing in a long and happy life as a wife, mother, doting grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of three, dear aunt of many nieces and nephews, and caring friend to many. LALONDE, Darryl Reginald - In loving memory of Darryl Reginald Lalonde, 69 years, who passed away Monday, July 27th, 2009 at the Maison Vale INCO Hospice. Darryl was born in the north and raised in Temagami. As a young man he worked on the boats of Ontario Northland as a purser. Darryl graduated from North Bay Teacher's College and went on to a long career with the Sudbury and District Catholic School Board as a principal and a classroom teacher. He enjoyed golfing, curling, and he was an avid hockey fan. Darryl was a man of tremendous strength and courage, as he faced the challenges of a lengthy illness. He loved his family and he lived his faith. The family would like to thank Dr. Herst, Dr. Cano, the oncology staff at the Cancer Center, the CCAC, Bayshore, the Maison Vale INCO Hospice and the family and friends who provided care and comfort during Darryl's illness. ADAMS, Mark-Stephen - Surrounded by his loving family after a brief battle with cancer; passed away peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday July 27, 2009. LAMERS, Agnes “Nancy“ Wright (nee McEwan) - Passed away peacefully at Hardy Terrace on Monday, July 27th in her 81st year. God saw her getting weary, so He did what He thought best. He came and stood beside her and whispered “Come to Rest“. Beloved wife of the late John G. Lamers. Nancy is survived by her brother James McEwan and her sisters-in-law Maxine McEwan and Sylvia McEwan. Fondly remembered also by her nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her sister Elizabeth (Mickey) Walker, and her brothers William, Robert and John McEwan. Nancy was employed for many years until her retirement at Harding Carpets. This is where she met her husband John. She loved to bowl and was involved in several different leagues and won many trophies during her lifetime. Germain Boucher époux de Mme Hélène Gingras demeurant rue Jeanne-Mance, Jonquière. La famille a accueillie parents et amis à la Résidence funéraire du Saguenay 2580, rue St-Dominique Jonquière le vendredi 31 juillet 2009, de 14 h à 17 h et de 19 h à 22 h et le samedi, 1er août 2009, à compter de 12 h 30. Les funérailles ont eu lieu le samedi 1er août 2009, à 15 h 30, à l'église St-Matthieu. Après les funérailles, M.Boucher a été incinéré. M. Boucher était à l'emploi du Centre de santé et services sociaux de Jonquière. Outre son épouse, Mme Hélène Gingras, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Karine Boucher (Martin Voyer), Jonathan (Andrée Martel) et Nicolas; ses petits-fils adorés : Marc-Antoine et Étienne. Il était le frère de : Gaétane Boucher (feu Gabriel Blackburn), Jocelyne (Jean-Paul Duchêne), Ginette (Roger Perron), feu Michel (Réjeanne Larouche), Denis (Micheline Forget), Richard (Pauline Trudeau), Pierre ((feu Sylvie Tremblay) Jacqueline Thériault), Suzanne (Gérard Vachon), Lucie (Gérard Bélisle), Marlène (Fernand Audet).
