FORREST, Hazel Agnes - On Sunday March 16th, 2008, Hazel passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 96th year. Predeceased by parents William and Grace Forrest, brothers William and Harold and sisters Irene, Grace and Faith. Survived by her sister Dixie and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great-great- nieces and great- great nephews. Hazel was an avid author and reader, especially of poetry. She was for several years in the Senior Choir at All Saints Anglican Church, where she sang with a strong alto voice. Hazel loved to fish, especially at her favorite spot at Black Creek. Many fond memories of stays at Cliffside in Kingsville, ON and trips to Ashland Parks near Dunnville, ON. KEITH, Juanita 2008-03-18 A service to honour the memory of the late Juanita Keith will be held at The Walford, 20 Pine St., Thunder Bay at 2:00 pm on Saturday March 22. Juanita passed into the arms of Jesus, her Saviour Feb. 3, 2008. She moved from Toronto to Thunder Bay, 2 1/2 years ago in order to be near her sister Helen Schumacher-Tucker and brother-in- law George Tucker. Other family members in Thunder Bay are; nephew Rob Schumacher, nieces, Heather Woodbeck and husband, Bruce, their children Heidi, Kailee and Kris, Barb Schumacher, her partner, Roland King and their adorable little daughter, Suzie. She is predeceased by parents Eva and Andrew, as well as brother Royden. She is survived by five brothers including Ernest (Toronto, ON), Jim (London, ON), George (Los Angeles, CA), Ian (Havelock, NB), and Fred (Los Angeles, CA) and a second sister, Olive (Saint John, NB). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. BISHOP, Thomas George 2008-03-18 In loving memory of Thomas George Bishop, age 67 of Ignace, who passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008. Thomas Bishop was born in Jellicoe, ON on June 13, 1940, and was a resident of Ignace since 1974 residing at 507 West St. and enjoyed time at his beloved Savoy/camp. He began mining at age 17 at Leitch Gold Mine, Beardmore and worked at various mines in NW, ON and Manitoba. Tom became a Civil Engineering Technologist- but returned to mining. He enjoyed curling in his younger days, hunting and fishing and served on the Ignace Fire Dept. as a fireman and chief. Tom Bishop is predeceased by his mother Marion, father Archie, sister Karen and Brother Allan. Thomas Bishop is survived by Miriam his wife of 49 years, daughter Christine of Nipigon, son Tom (Jackie) of Winnipeg, daughter Debbie of Edmonton and son Herb (Tracy) of Fort St John. Grandchildren Damien, Crystal, Lance, Tayler, Thomas, Melissa, Nick, Tannor and Hayden. Also Brother Van (Linda) of Beardmore, sister Betty. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place, as per Tom‘s wishes. Bernus is survived by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine (Chesser); his beloved four children; and twelve grandchildren; Nancy (Brad) Nickerson and Michael, Sonya (Jeremy) Burrill, and Jarett, Rick (Carolyn) and Keara, Connor, Jason and Brittany; Linda Grey (Jean Marc) Simard and Michelle and Marissa; three sisters Myrtle Whitehead, Ellen Price and Evelyn (Ray) Galloway; his mother-in-law Jean Chesser; three sisters-in-law Margaret Brewer, Janice Firth and Judy (Robert) Allen; many nieces and nephews. Bernus worked many years for Mussen's Canada Ltd. and later for Lounsbury Industrial Ltd. He took pride in his work and valued the people with whom he worked. Bernus enjoyed being with his family first and foremost, working on his "old" machines, hunting, fishing, boating, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. PASQUINI, Vittorio April 6, 1924 - March 15, 2008 Vittorio Pasquini, beloved husband of Giulia Pasquini of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Vittorio was born and grew up in Villa Martelli (Lanciano), Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1952. He was employed with the City of Calgary until his retirement in 1987. Vittorio leaves behind to mourn, his devoted wife of forty-eight years, Giulia and his son Enzo. He is also survived by his sister Maria Pasquini, brother-in-law Ciro D'Angelo (Mafalda), sister-in-law Lidia D'Angelo (Giuseppe), all of Italy as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Argentina.
