CRAYTON, S. Joyce (nee Ostrander) - Peacefully after a lengthy illness, at the Providence Continuing Care Centre, on Sunday December 3, 2007 in her 77th year. Beloved mother of Stephen Crayton (Carolyn) of Florida, Jayne Tassi (Louis) of Rochester, New York, Shirley Cunningham (Norman) of Napanee and Douglas Crayton (Beth) of Florida. Predeceased by her brother Douglas Ostrander. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Norma Healey and Doris Butterworth, both of Newmarket and her sister-in-law Betty Ostrander of Smiths Falls. Joyce will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Royce Crayton, Nicholas Tassi, Jillian Tassi, Spencer Cunnignham, Rebecca Cunningham, Alyssa Foster, and Sydeny Crayton. Fondly and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday December 8, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES - Township Chapel, 435 Davis Drive, Kingston (Taylor Kidd Blvd. and Centennial Drive). Cremation has taken place. BRIDEAU, Roger (Candyman) - It is with extreme sadness that the family announces the passing of Roger Brideau on Monday December 3rd, 2007 at G.N.G.H. at the age of 76 years. Devoted husband of 53 years to Shirley (nee: Lodge). Cherished father of Rodger (Suzan), Jimmy, Tim (Cathy Hill) and Beverley (Denis Robidoux). He will be sadly missed by 4 grandchildren; Donald, Krystle, Chance and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Merilda Chamberlain (late Bob), brother-in-law of Betty Brideau and Audrey Lodge. KING, Mr. William Lloyd Richard - we are saddened to announce the passing of William Lloyd King at the Welland Hospital on Sunday December 2, 2007 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Hilda King (1984). Survived by his nieces, nephews and families. Mr. King was enlisted with the Canadian Army and served overseas in World War ll. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 613 Fonthill, as well as an active member of the Fonthill Lion's Club, until five years ago after being stricken with a stroke. A very special thank you to Dr. Daniles and the nurses and staff on the 6th floor of Welland Hospital. KRAUSS, Magdolna (nee Lowinger) Passed away peacefully on 1 December 2007, just 9 days short of her 97th birthday. Born and having spent most of her life in Hungary, she lived through and survived two World Wars, the Holocaust, breast cancer and heart disease. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dora Goldman of Ottawa, her son Dr. Peter Neumann of Montreal, their families, her extended family and many friends and admirers on both sides of the Atlantic. She will return to Hungary and will be laid to rest with her second husband, the late Mr. Laszlo Krauss.
