ROBIDAS, Stanisclas (Stanley) 1924-2007 A East Harford, Conn., le 26 mars 2007, est décédé monsieur Stanley Robidas, à l'âge de 83 ans, époux de Thérèse Godin. BACON, Melbourne 'Heuston'. Passed away at Garden Terrace in Kanata on March 23, 2007 in his ninety-ninth year. Predeceased in 1972 by his beloved wife Jean Devine Bacon. Loving and loved father and best friend of Stewart and Beverley. Loving Grampa of Kelsey, Christopher and Lalage, and step-Grampa of Alisa, Erin and Jessie Kenny. He will be missed by relatives and friends, particularly by his niece Jean Kerr who frequently visited him at Riverpark Place and later at Garden Terrace. Heuston was born in Montreal where he worked for Consolidated Litho Division of Somerville Industries prior to joining the Public Service in Ottawa in 1967. He was on the Board of Managers and later Clerk of Session of the Town of Mount Royal Presbyterian Church. He was national president of the Society of Industrial and Cost Accountants and a Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada. Special thanks to the 4th floor staff at Garden Terrace for their compassionate care. Memorial visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean, Ontario, on Saturday, April 21 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A Celebration of Heuston's life will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. Inurnment will take place in Montreal at a later date. GODIN, Romeo "An extraordinary, ordinary man" Romeo H. Godin died peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital early Friday morning, March 30th, 2007. A recent resident of the Bonnechere Manor; a former resident of Renfrew and Rhoddy's Bay. Romeo was a route salesman for Morrison Lamothe Foods for many years. Beloved husband for over 60 years of Yvonne (Nee Duchesne). Loved father of Terry (Ann) of Stittsville, Denice Lenser (Len) of Munster Hamlet, Bonnie Clark (Doug) of Carp and Mark (Francine) of Rhoddy's Bay. Predeceased by a son, Melvin (1976). Dear brother of Rene Godin (Julie) and Leona Dozois (Joe) and brother-in-law of Bea Godin, all of Pembroke. Predeceased by 2 brothers: Ray (late Sylvia) and Marcel. LAROCQUE, Glen 1930-2007 Last Call Glen peacefully passed away March 29, 2007, surrounded by his beloved, devoted family. As always, by his side, his loving wife of 52 years, Rachelle (Gadbois). Predeceased by his daughter Lise (1962). Glen was a loving father to Allan of Cornwall, Carole Benjamin (Paul) Renfrew, Faye Drake (George) Pembroke, and Dayton (Dawna) Kanata. Poppie/Grampie will be forever cherished by his 6 grandchildren, Kurtis (Natalie) (Kanata), Michael (Edmonton), Wade (Vernon BC), Lize and Beau (Renfrew), and Amanda (Kanata), great- granddaughters, Shianna, Trinity & Harmony. Predeceased by his parents, James and Violet Larocque of Cornwall, and Brother Melvin. Survived by his sisters Ann (Paul) Beriteau, Cornwall, "Bonnie" (Richard) Clayton Golden Lake and brother Murdie (Judy) Ottawa. Also left to grieve are many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends from Renfrew, Cornwall, Ottawa and White Cedars. His timely sense of humour and his unselfish commitment to his family and friends will be greatly missed. MATTHIES, Gary Paul Gone too soon, but hopefully playing golf with Dad on the best green he's ever seen, Gary passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the age of 43. It was a brutal battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma, and Gary fought with great courage, maintaining throughout it all his wonderful sense of humour and incredible caring for others. This was a good, generous, much beloved brother, uncle, friend and co-worker. Kind, caring, generous, stubborn (in a good way), funny, playful, loyal and beloved by everyone who knew him, Gary will be profoundly missed by his sister Sharon (Andre), his brothers David (Karen) and Robert, his beloved nieces Jennifer (she's keeping the big ugly fish), Katrina and Talina, a lifetime of faithful friends, 20 years worth of Mitel Co-workers and many others whose hearts have been enriched and brightened by Gary's life. Gary's family extends deepest gratitude to all of the incredible caring nurses, doctors, volunteers and ALL staff of the Ottawa General ICU, 5-West, the Bone Marrow Transplant Team and Module L, who took such compassionate care of our brother throughout this entire journey. And a very special thanks to everyone on "Gary's Miracle Team" for being our faithful pillars of courage and strength over the past few months. Gary's life will be celebrated at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Rd. MILLER, Catherine C. (nee Ritchie) At Faith Hospice-Breton Manor, Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 29 died peacefully after a long illness and time of weakness. Born on May 28, 1916, she follows in death her husband, The Rev. Dr. Colin F. Miller, and her oldest daughter, Dorothy, wife of the late Charles Lewis. She also leaves three children: Judith Hill, wife of Professor Brian Hill, of Norwich, England; The Rev. Dr. James F. Miller, husband of Karen Emmory, of Charlotte, N.C. and Ada, MI, and Catherine Capon, of Edinburgh, Scotland. Ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren are also left. All services will be held at a later date in Scotland, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Auchtergaven Parish Churchyard. HETTRICK, NELSON GILBERT - 83 of Woodwards Cove, Grand Manan Island, NB. Passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital Friday March 30th, 2007. Born in St. Catherine's ON, he was the son of the late Clarence and Clara Hettrick. Nelson served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1942-1945 and later moved to Grand Manan Island and worked as a fisherman then later as a Butcher at the Newton Store, he finished his working career at the Save Easy Grocery Store on Grand Manan where he was known and well liked by his many customers. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; one daughter, Colleen Patterson (Pat) of Musquodoboit Harbour, NS; one son, Chris Hettrick (Rhonda) of Deep Cove, NB; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also one step-son, Glen. He was predeceased by his brother, Maurice. The family will receive friends and relatives for visiting at Ells Funeral Home on Sunday, April 1st, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. AUBIN (née Marleau), Lucille À Montréal, le 24 mars 2007, à l'âge de 96 ans, est décédée madame Lucille Aubin (née Marleau), épouse de feu Lucien Aubin. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Robert (Amina), Jacques (Ghislaine), Antoine (Claudette) et Francine (Rui), ses 8 petits-enfants, 10 arrière-petits-enfants, ses soeurs Gisèle, Claire et Évelyne, sa belle-soeur Pierrette, ses neveux et nièces et de nombreux amis au sein de la paroisse. Jusqu'au dernier moment, elle a vécu dans son logis de la rue Jeanne-d'Arc en femme autonome et en mère attentionnée. Nous désirons remercier de sa part le personnel du CLSC de Hochelaga-Maisonneuve qui lui a permis de vivre chez elle pendant toutes ces années. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 14 avril à 13 heures, en l'église du Saint-Nom-de-Jésus, au coin des rues Adam et Desjardins, à Montréal. CARON, Dr Roger À Montréal, le 22 mars 2007, à l'âge de 87 ans, est décédé paisiblement, entouré de sa famille, le Dr Roger Caron, fils de feu Édouard Caron et Alexina Bélanger. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée, Maryanne Mansell, ses enfants Roger (Sarah), Suzanne (Claude) et Christine, sa soeur Fernande, son frère Édouard, son beau-frère Richard Mansell (Susan), sa belle-soeur Jeannette Cloutier et de nombreux neveux, nièces et amis. Roger Caron fut anesthésiste à l'hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal de 1956 à 1991.
