SCHOFIELD, CONSTANCE DOROTHEA INCHES 'DODIE' - The death of Dodie Schofield occurred on February 22, 2007 at the St. John & St. Stephen Church Home. Born in Saint John, October 18, 1914, she was the only daughter of the late Harold Cowan Schofield and Mary Kingsbury (Inches) Schofield. Dodie's early education took place at Miss Rainie's School, followed by Victoria Street School and Saint John High School, from where she graduated. She worked at the Federal Income Tax Department in Saint John for over 30 years. She was a member of the Garrison Officers Badminton Club, Trinity Church Young Women's Guild, Westfield Golf & Country Club, the I.O.D.E. Lady Moyra Ponsonby Chapter, the New Brunswick Historical Society and the local association for the Girl Guides. Dodie was a life long member of Trinity Church where she served many years on the Vestry. She will be missed by her cousins the Blanchets and the Teeds and by Don and Martha Shephard. Following cremation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2007, at 1:00 pm from Trinity Church. Beloved husband of the late Chloe Boyd, loving father of Sally and her husband David Jordan and devoted grandfather to Sarah Jordan and Martha Jordan of Toronto. Predeceased by two sisters, six brothers, three nieces: Alice Lou Rouse, Eleanor Boyd, Dorothy Graham, and by his brother-in-law, Richard Malloy. Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law, Helen Malloy, his nephew and niece, Bill and Marlene Boyd, the Rouse family nieces and nephews and by his great friend, Jack Fenety. Businessman, community volunteer, fisherman, golfer, curler, visual artist and lover of the land and waterscapes of New Brunswick, Mac was truly a man for all seasons. Fils de feu Omer et de feu Lucia (née Hénault) Savignac. Cher frère de Rita Savignac Legault de Sturgeon Falls (feu Alpha). Prédécédé par ses frères et soeurs, Délisca Perreault (feu Gaspard), Juliette Piette (feu Georges), Isabelle Lafrenière (feu Alcide), Rose Levac (feu Domina Jr.), Blanche Gareau (feu Donat), Cécile Tourigny (feu Oscar), Lionel Savignac (feu Laurette) et Roland Savignac (feu Jeannette). Lui survivent également plusieurs neveux et nieces. Ordonné le 12 avril 1952 par son Exellence Monseigneur Dignan à la Pro Cathédral de l'Assomption à North Bay, le Père Joseph a servi dans de nombreuses paroisses dans le diocèse du Sault Ste. Marie. A sa retraite, il accepta un poste d'aumonier dans un centre pour gens à la retraite à St Eugène de Guigue, PQ. Depuis quelques mois, il est venu retrouver sa famille à Sturgeon Falls. E. Thomas MacLean Holmden BERRYTON, NB - E. Thomas MacLean Holmden, 91, of Berryton, New Brunswick, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 23rd, 2007. Born in Pine Ridge, son of the late Charles and Flora (MacLean) Holmden. Tom was a member of the Mount Zion Presbyterian Church and a retired farmer. GRAHAM, David Alexander - In loving memory of David Alexander Graham, 77 years, who passed away Friday morning, February 23rd, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. John Edward Seeley 1926-2007 John Edward "Jack" Seeley, 80, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, NB. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Ned and Kathreen Lees (née: Hamilton) Seeley. Mr. Seeley had worked as an electrician with local businesses. He is survived by his wife, Rose (née: Barrieau) of Moncton; five children: Jackie (Darryl) of Halifax, John of Lakeville, Heather of Moncton, Susan (Rob Richardson) of Lakeside, and Brenda of Moncton; one step-son, Mike Shaw of Ontario; two sisters: Helen Cormie of Lakeville and Williah (Layton) Wasson of Moncton; one brother, Dick (Myrna) of Lakeville; six grandchildren: Crystal, James, Geoffrey, Terri Lynn, Julian and Megan Goguen; one great granddaughter, Makayla; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Shirley; and also by one brother, Fred. LOOPEKER. Rene Born July 14th, 1950 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, raised in Ottawa, Ontario and formerly of Vancouver, British Columbia. It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Rene. He died quietly on his boat in Ganges Harbour, Saltspring Island on Monday, January 15th, 2007. Rene will be deeply missed by his son Kyle Loopeker (Will) of Burnaby and his new daughter-in-law Tracy. He is predeceased by his loving parents Wilhelm and Ursula Loopeker and his former wife Reen Loopeker (nee Wakabayashi). MILKS, Arthur Earl Peacefully, with his wife by his side, on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 after his relentless battle with cancer. During his lifetime, Arthur did not travel the world, or find fame and fortune. However, he was a man of great wealth, for he found pleasure in the simplicities of life and experience what some of us never find, true love and respect. Arthur's boyish smiles, unique personality and zest for life will be missed by all who have come to know him. Arthur, beloved husband of Imelda (Rodier), loving father of Dale, Jason and Trevor. Cherished papa and grandpa to grandsons Benjamin, Seth, Xavier and Raymond. Son of Norman Milks and Lois (Werrell) of Chelsea. Dear brother of Marion, Hazel, Sally Milks and Wendy Lavery. Predeceased by brother Clayton Werrell. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Chelsea United Church, 8 Mill Road, Chelsea, Quebec, on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the CHEO Foundation Oncology Department on behalf of Arthur Earl Milks. SENOS, Lorraine Amelia Born Winnipeg, Manitoba March 6, 1928 - February 12, 2007 Passed away peacefully in the loving presence of her two sons, loving husband and granddaughter, with the dignity and class she exuded all her life. Mother was always there for the many people who counted on her guidance, advice, and unconditional love. She will be sadly missed by her loved ones here, but greeted spiritual by the people she loved who passed previously. Her beautiful spirit will be carried on by her husband, sons, four grandchildren, great-granddaughter, adopted daughters and her good friends, and last but not least, by her little guy "Jasper."
