LEWISTON - Florence M. Leclair, 83, of Lewiston, died Monday, Dec. 19, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center after a short illness.Born in Lewiston on Dec. 15, 1922, she was the daughter of Joseph and Eva Noonan.She worked as a cotton spinner at the W.S. Libbey Mill for 52 years. She was the wife of William Leclair, who predeceased her.She was a resident of Lewiston all her life and was a member of the Acme Club, where she was an active snowshoer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include two daughters, Linda Gaudette Belanger and Sandra Vye, both of Lewiston; four grandchildren, her devoted grandson, Aaron Gaudette and wife, Ivy, of Lewiston, Athena Gaudette and husband, Jay, of Maryland, and Tasha and Noah Vye, both of Lewiston; and two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Peyton Gaudette, both of Lewiston.

Margot (Rice) Dugas -- August 22, 1938 - December 19, 2005 -- BOZRAH- Margot I. (Rice) Dugas, 67, wife of Warren E. Dugas of 300 Scott Hill Road, Bozrah (Lebanon), passed away peacefully at her home Monday morning in the presence of her family. Born in New Haven on August 22, 1938, she was the fifth child of Russell and Sadie (DeLorie) Rice.She was employed at Foxwoods Resort Casino as a slot attendant for over 10 years, was an avid horse show mother, bowled for many years on the Rose of New England Ten Pin League, was a former member of T.S.G.A., and enjoyed antiquing and attending auctions. On July 11, 1961 in New York, she was united in marriage to Warren E. Dugas, her husband of 44 years, who survives along with their two daughters, Cynde O'Brien and her husband Jason of Newington, NH. and Christine Dugas of Newport, RI. One sister Charlotte Prichette of Colorado, two brothers, Russell Rice of Bozrah, and Mancel Rice of New London, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Spencer Rice. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who appreciated her direct and honest approach to life and her sharp quick wit.Visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich. VENUS MARY WESSON UNDERHILL - Venus Mary Wesson, 34, died unexpectedly at her home Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005. She was born March 24, 1971, in Burlington the daughter of Emery J. Roy Sr. and Connie (Guyette) Roy. She marred Timothy Wesson on Oct. 20, 1991, at the St. John's Club in Burlington. Venus loved fishing, camping, and making scrapbooks. She especially enjoyed picking berries with her beloved granddaughter. Venus is survived by her husband, Tim Wesson, and two children, Timothy “T.J.“ Wesson Jr., and Tiffany Roy; her granddaughter, Faith “Noodles“ Roy; her parents, Emery and Connie Roy all of Underhill; her two brothers, Emery Roy and Fiancee Tara of Underhill, Roman Rodriguz of Underhill; her three sisters, Natalie Roy, Emmy Lou Little and BobbiJo Brown and husband Jim all of Underhill; her nine nieces, four nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Yvonne Rutherford Fouche', was the fifth child of Theodore and Maurice Rutherford. Yvonne was ill for many years and passed away Dec. 16, 2005. TETREAULT, JOHN B., IV, 'KID 40', 66, of Cranston died Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by his family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John B., III and Clara (Sullivan) Tetreault.He was a skilled laborer for the City of Cranston for 34 years before retiring in 1991. He served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid classic car lover and a parishoner of St. Matthew's Church, Cranston.He was the beloved father of Tina Marie Tortolani, Tammy J. Casey, John B.V., James A., Sr., Jason S. Tetreault, all of Cranston and Tracy A. Mello of Warwick. He leaves two sisters, Sandra C. Inso of Davie, FL, and Lorraine E. Luce of Cranston; a brother, Arthur L. Tetreault of Middleboro, MA. He was a devoted grandfather of 15 grandchildren and one great grandson. He was also the grandfather of the late Destine L. Tetreault and the brother of the late Rosemary H. Tetreault.His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 from The Butterfield Chapel, 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, Cranston at 10:00. Rita T. Charbonneau of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully in the company of her children on Saturday December 17, 2005 the age of 85 years. Born Kathleen Rita Trevett on July 27, 1920 in Blasedell, NY, she was a graduate of Ithaca College class of 1941. Rita was married on April 25, 1945 to Raymond J. Charbonneau of Cohoes, NY. Their life together lasted fifty six years until his passing in 2001. She lived most her life as a devoted wife and mother in upstate New York and later as a beloved grandmother and great grandmother in Florida and most recently Phoenix. Throughout her life Rita was an active housewife and mother, elementary school teacher and a prolific volunteer in local schools and hospitals. She was also an avid golfer and member of the Albany Curling Club, and spent many long hours creating needlepoint art for her family and neighbors. Rita is survived by her children Karl Charbonneau of Phoenix, Robert Charbonneau of Danville, CA, Mary Goutos of Diamond Point, NY and Raymond Charbonneau of Aurora, CO. as well as nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. We will all miss Rita's warm and loving nature her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She has given great strength to all around her through her life, in particular in her later years. Robert Reinhardt April 01, 1923 - December 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Bob passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital with all of his family at his side. Bob leaves his wife of 56 years Doreen, daughter Deb (Brent), sons Chris, Ross (Betti) and one and only grandchild Brittany. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews who meant the world to him. Bob was predeceased by his mom and dad and three sisters Muriel, Elsie, and Marguerite. Bob grew up in the North End and completed all of his schooling there. After school he spent a short time working for John Erizinger then joined the RCAF when the war broke out. Bob spent four years serving his country. On his return from the war, he was employed by the Manitoba Telephone System where he enjoyed 39 very happy and successful years, retiring in 1984. His greatest love, next to his family, was his cottage at Ingolf, Ontario. He couldn’t get enough of it. He loved swimming, water skiing and teaching the kids all these things until they could do it better than him. Bob also loved spending time in his workshop, tinkering with odds and ends and repairing anything that had broken. His workshop acted as a one-stop shop for anyone looking for a part to finish a job. Bob loved to dance and as a young man was an avid roller skater. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Jean (1996); his brother Gerald (1997); his mother Rose (1977) and his father Sverre (1960). He is survived by his daughter Dawn (Grant) May and by his sister Sigrid. Ed was born on December 17, 1930 in Wynyard, SK and moved to Winnipeg with his family as an infant, subsequently moving to rural East Kildonan where he spent his childhood and adolescence. Ed attended St. Paul’s High School, Red River Community College and the University of Manitoba. Except for a few years in Toronto, Ed lived in Winnipeg where he was employed in the Construction Engineering industry. Switching careers, he taught High School Drafting in the St. James-Assiniboia School Division for the last fourteen years of his working life. Ed loved life, revelled in taking nature treks in our Provincial Parks to enjoy the natural world and relished the adventures he found in world travel. Claire J. Gosselin (Durette), 90, of Manchester died December 18, 2005 at Harborside Northwood in Bedford period of declining health. Mrs. Gosselin was born on April 21, 1915 in Manchester the daughter of Jean “John” and Ida (Richard) Durette. She grew up in Manchester and attended local parochial schools. Claire, a veteran of World War, willfully served our country for seven years in both the Army and Air Force as a cook. She was honorably discharged in 1950 as a Staff Sergeant with the US Air Force. When she returned home, Claire married Odilon Gosselin and the couple moved to Litchfield where they were farmers. She enjoyed the many years she spent farming with her husband. Prior to retirement, Claire worked for the VA Hospital in Manchester as a housekeeper where she spent 22 years. She had been a parishioner of St. Jean de Baptiste for most of her life. Her husband, Odilon, of 34 years predeceased her in 1985.Family members include; one son, Jean Gosselin and his wife, Louise of Goffstown; two stepsons, Leo Gosselin and his wife, Connie of Londonderry and George Gosselin and his wife, Dagmar of Manchester; one stepdaughter, Priscilla Lavoie and her husband, Lionel of Merrimack; two grandsons, Richard Gosselin and Nicholas Gosselin both of Goffstown; six step grandsons, David Lavoie of Manchester, Steven Lavoie of Hudson, Michael Lavoie, James Lavoie and Robert Lavoie all of Merrimack and Christopher Gosselin of Manchester; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Claire was predeceased by three brothers, Elphege Durette, Arthur Durette and Jean-Charles Durette and by three sisters, Yvonne Gosselin, Cecile Caron and Germaine Simard. WILBRAHAM— Claire C. (LeTourneau) Trudeau, 89, the wife of Theodore J. "Ted" Trudeau of Wilbraham, and a former longtime resident of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield died on Sunday, December 18, 2005 after a short illness. She was born in Worcester on August 13, 1916 a daughter of the late Ludger and Marie (Perreault) LeTourneau and was a resident of the Springfield area since 1939. She was active in Republican Party organizations during the 1950’s and 1960’s, and campaigned actively for her husband, a former State Representative, during the 1970’s. In the late 1950’s she was an active volunteer for several years in the March of Dimes, and for three years she was the director for the annual March of Dimes campaigns for the city of Springfield. Mrs. Trudeau was the Indian Orchard correspondent for the Springfield Daily News for over ten years. Before moving to Wilbraham, she was a communicant of St. Aloysius parish in Indian Orchard, and served on the Parish Council at the church. Throughout these years, in addition to raising her family, she also worked as a court reporter in the Connecticut court system and as a freelance court stenographer for Philbin and Associates. She taught court stenography after retiring. In addition to her husband of 67 years and her good friend, Prima Fiorini of Chicopee, she will be sadly missed by her four sons, Robert H. Trudeau and his wife Patricia of Providence, RI, John R. Trudeau of San Mateo, CA, Roger W. Trudeau and his wife Gail of Whately, MA, and James E. Trudeau and his wife Jessi of Austin, TX; her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; her sister, Lorraine Woronko of Grand Rapids, MI and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Julie E. Trudeau. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1023 Parker Street in Springfield. Her burial will be private. Cec bowled at Parkway Lanes for many years and enjoyed golf at St. David's, Niagara-on-the-Lake and more recently at St. Catharines Municipal Golf Clubs. Honoured twice by the City of St. Catharines for his volunteer work in the community, Cec canvassed for the Heart and Stroke Foundation for over 20 years. Cec was a dedicated member of Westminster United Church and was an active member of the Property Committee. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Hyatt, Dr. Valesquez and the staff in the ICU at the St. Catharines General, especially Melanie and Minnie for their wonderful care and compassion. He liked reading, playing cards and listening to country music. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Né à Lewisville le 20 juillet 1918, il était fils de feu Honoré et Béatrice (Ward) Melanson. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Adeline (Caissie) Melanson; un fils, Bernard (Claudette); deux petits-enfants: Marcel (Carole) et Carole Cormier (Steve); deux arrière-petits-enfants: Xavier Cormier et Michelle Melanson; deux soeurs: Madeleine Dollemont et Geraldine Hicks (Hollis), ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux. Amanda Godin 1917 - 2005 RICHIBUCTO, NB - Amanda Godin, 87, wife of the late Edward Godin, of Richibucto, NB, passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Saturday, December 17, 2005. Born in Rumford, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Guimond and Florida (Bruneau) Guimond. She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30 and the Richibucto Golden Age Club. She is survived by one daughter, Diane Coté (Richard), Scarborough, ON; and two grandchildren, Michelle and Jason. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Amanda was predeceased by the husband, Edward in 1983; two sisters, Alice Guimond and Anita Mazerolle; and two brothers, Archile and Fred Guimond. Edna M. Watts Edna Watts passed away peacefully at her Moncton home on Monday, December 12, 2005. Born in New Haven, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Katherine and Kenneth Docherty. She leaves to mourn her husband, Stanley; also her son, Gary (Claudette Boucher) of Montreal, Que; her granddaughter, Sherri Quesnel (Gilles) and five grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter, Geraldine. A sister, Jean Younker of Charlottetown, P.E.I. survives her. Arsenault of 187 Colton Brook Road, Quispamsis, widow of Neil Arsenault, occurred at Villa Maria Nursing Home, St. Louis de Kent on Saturday, December 17, 2005. Mrs. Arsenault was born at Portage River, a daughter of the late Jim and Aleoje (Holmes) Legere, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John. She is survived by two sons, Aldoria (Lucie) of Aldouane, NB and Emile (Susan) of Rowley, NB; two daughters, Ann Savoie (Arthur) of Chatham Head, and Elsie Brideau (Carter) of Saint John; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Born in Spring Valley, Saskatchewan on July 26, 1942. Lovingly remembered by his family; wife Patty; daughter; Louise (Kevin) Dynna and son Steven and his grandson; Nick; mother; Mary; brothers; Wilf (Nancy), Adrian, sisters; Eileen (Ed), Kathy (John, Laurie (Pat), Betty, Linda (Rene), Marj, Riet (Glenn), Anne, Bonnie (Alex), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his father; Albert; brother; Fred and sisters; Bernadette and Janet. Larry retired from chip supply at the Crofton Mill in December 1999. Larry was one of the most generous men you could ever meet, from raising money for the Crofton Sea walk as well as giving a helping hand when ever asked. He would always take longer than necessary running errands, as he would talk to everyone. He also had a great sense of humour. His pride and joy was his grandson Nick. He will be missed by all who knew him. Larry was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br: 191. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation.
