RICHARDS, Beth G. Passed away peacefully at Trent Valley Lodge on Sunday, December 18, 2005 in her 81st year. Loving wife of the late Roy Richards. Beloved mother of Maria and Art Reilly of Wooler and step mother of Wayne and Leslie Richards of Orleans. Nana Beth will be sadly missed by Derek and Mallory Richards. Predeceased by her siblings Byron and Irene Crosby, George Crosby and survived by his wife Gladys, Noble and Fayola Crosby and Ruth and Stewart Teal. DOWDALL, George Sinclair - The family of George Dowdall is sad to announce the passing of their dear father and grandfather on Friday, December 16th, 2005. George, in his 87th year, predeceased by his wife Jean (née Banks, 1997) and is survived by his daughter Nancy (Bruce Clarke) and his six sons, Bill (Liz), Kevein (Heather), Bob (Bonnie), David (Sandy), Paul (Karen), and Peter (Christine). The memory of Grandpa George, his stories, and his pocketful of peppermints, will be forever cherished by his many grandchildren. George was born September 26, 1919 in Nipissing Village, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Together with his wife Jean, he enjoyed visiting with family and friends and was always up for a friendly game of cards. George was predeceased by his parents Deacie and Priscilla, his sisters Francis, Irma and Leoma, and is survived by his siblings Ivah Rose, Islah Downton, Lester and Murray. Visitation will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the spring in the family plot at the Nipissing Village Cemetery. Tendre époux de Rhéa Major (née Lavigne) de Sturgeon Falls. Père bien-aimé de Michel (Marielle) de Chelmsford, Denis (Cécile), Gilles (Huguette) tous deux de Field, Aurèle (amie Colette) de Sturgeon Falls, André (Julie) de Bolton et René (Jinny) de Sturgeon Falls. Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants, Kristine, Monique, Daniel, Sylvain, Chantal, Guy, Roch, Robert et Zachary. Chere frère d'Ethel Lafantaisie, Léona Langevin, Victoria Châtelain, Anita Séguin, Gord, Gérald, Kenneth, Ronald, Howard et Lorney. Prédécédé par ses soeurs, Edna, Eva et Rita, ainsi que par ses parents, Thomas et Mary (née Larocque) Major. Un homme consciencieux et travaillant, M. Major a poursuivie ses intérets après sa retraite en offrant ses services au gens qui lui demandait mais tout en se gardent du temps pour la pêche et la chasse. McDANIEL, Margaret "Audrey" - Mrs. Audrey McDaniel passed away surrounded by her loving family at Eastholme on Saturday, December 17, 2005 in her 88th year. Audrey (Kopas) of Powassan was predeceased by her husband Edward Glen McDaniel (Dec. 27, 1970), two sisters Georgina Snelling (the late Gordon) and Mato Kopas, and one grandson Bart. She was the loving mother of Shirley Barfoot (Art) of Powassan, Joseph McDaniel (Theresa) of Welland, Doris Bisson (Jack) of Sudbury, Laura Young (Eric) of Powassan and Margaret Williams (Gene) of Englehart. Audrey was the loving grandmother of 16 grand-children and 27 great-grandchildren, and the dear sister of Fred Kopas (Doris) of North Bay. Audrey was involved in many local charities. Née à Saint-Ignace-de-Kent, elle était fille de feu Hervé Gallant et de feu Ursule (Comeau) Gallant. Elle laisse dans le deuil trois filles: Jeanne Hamilton (Jim) de Newmarket, Ont., Maria Bourgeois (Donald McGraw) de Saint-Charles et Ursula Arsenault (Normand) de Saint-Louis-de-Kent; trois fils: Adelard (Carmella), Noël (Anna) et France (Pierrette), tous de Saint-Ignace-de-Kent, ainsi que 10 petits-enfants et six arrière-petits-enfants. joubert, Caroline (nee Grenier) In loving memory of Caroline Joubert (nee Grenier), 90 years of Sudbury who passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Center. She was born in Sudbury and married Oscar Joubert in 1936 in Sudbury. A longtime West End resident Caroline was a devout Roman Catholic who belonged to St. Eugene's Church, where during her life she had participated in the parish ministries and groups. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards and bingo. She was a wonderful story teller who often shared her gift of conversation over a perfectly prepared pot of tea with visitors. She kept a meticulous and welcoming home. She celebrated many happy gatherings at the family camp on McFarlane Lake. The focus of her life was her family in whom she took great pride and interest in their accomplishments and activities. She will be remembered as a caring and loving person whose light will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her. Beloved wife of Oscar Joubert predeceased 1998. SANFORD - Diana A. Bourque, 79, of Sanford, died Friday afternoon at St. Andre Health Care Facility in Biddeford. Mrs. Bourque was born in Sanford on April 19, 1926. She was the daughter of Amedee and Anne Buchanan Allaire. She attended Holy Family School, and was a 1944 graduate of Sanford High School. She worked in the local shoe shops, Pioneer Plastics, and would later retire from Tenneford Weaving.Mrs. Bourque was a lifelong resident of Sanford, and a faithful communicant of Holy Family Church of Sanford. She had a passion for playing beano; Anytime, anywhere, was her motto. Predeceasing her was her husband, Oscar; three brothers; and two sisters. Surviving is a daughter, Sharon Brackett and her husband Wade of Sanford; a grandson, Michael Brackett and his wife Qing of Augusta; a granddaughter, Deborah Sousa and her husband Daniel of Barrington, N.H.; and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Luke Sousa. Also surviving are her sisters, Lillian Perron of Farmington, N.H., Helen Vigue and her husband Bill of Sanford, and Stella Dion of Sanford; three brothers, Robert Allaire and his wife Lucille of Sanford, Andrew Allaire and his wife Rita of Somersworth, N.H., and Larry Allaire of Montgomery, Ala. A 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Bourque will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Holy Family Church, 66 North Ave., Sanford. CARIBOU - Ernest M. Belanger, 77. died Dec. 18, 2005, at Caribou. He was born July 27, 1928, in Connor, the son of Mack and Ozithe (Cote) Belanger. He was a 1946 graduate of Caribou High School and attended Ricker College. Mr. Belanger served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a life member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW. He married Jeannine (Plourde) Belanger Oct. 31, 1959. Ernest was employed for more than 37 years at Belanger's Farm Machinery in Caribou. He was a faithful member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a Fourth Degree member, past Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator of the Fred V. Brescia Council 1870 Knights of Columbus. He was a member and past president of the Caribou Lions Club. Surviving in addition to his wife of more than 46 years, Jeannine of Caribou; are his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jeannette Belanger of Augusta; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Omerine Belanger of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sisters, Elda Crouch of Caribou and Doris Alexander of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Lelia Ann, Diana Ellen and Benjamin Michael Belanger, all of Augusta; many nieces and nephews. PORTLAND - Jeannette Galipeau, 87, formerly of New York, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005 in a Portland Health Care facility. She was born in Brunswick, a daughter of Louis Jr. and Alvine Belanger Bernier. Her family moved to Westbrook, when she was six, she was raised and educated here. She resided in New York for 49 years. While in New York she was a hostess at McDonalds for 14 years just for something to do, she enjoyed people very much. She returned to Westbrook a year and a half ago, residing with her niece, Lucille St. Pierre and her husband. Jeannette was a longtime member of the Catholic Daughters of New York. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass for Jeannette will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Hyacinth Church. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth Cemetery. LEWISTON - Edna M. Kolenz, 83, of Sabattus Road, Sabattus, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 15, at Central Maine Medical Center.She was born in Sheridan on Feb. 15, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Sophie Theriault Bouchey. She was educated in the schools of Mars Hill, and was married Sept. 6, 1947, at St. Mary's Church in Mars Hill to Jacob L. Kolenz of New Jersey.In the early 1970s, she was employed in the business office of the C.F. Hathaway Shirt Co. in Waterville.She and her husband moved from East Vassalboro to New Jersey in the mid-1970s to care for Jacob's mother until her passing. They returned to Maine in 1998 and settled in Sabattus to be near their family and grandchildren.She was an active member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and volunteered at many church activities, where she did cooking and baking. She enjoyed life to the fullest, had a strong will and stronger faith. Her love and smiles touched more people than she knew, and she had a large "extended family," as she called it. Edna experienced the holidays to the fullest, and Christmas was her favorite.She is survived by her husband of Sabattus; two daughters, Diana M. Kolenz of Sabattus and Mary K. Babcock and her husband, Earl B., of Dresden; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Leo Bouchey and wife, June, of Bangor; a sister, Rena Druffner and husband, George, of Hershey, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters; and two brothers.

BOWDOIN, Henry Coy Sr., 82, of Dover, Fla., passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace. Coy was born August 8, 1923, to Alto Criss Bowdoin and Sarah Katherine Hendricks in Coffee County, Alabama. His family moved to Dover in 1935 when he was 14 years old. He attended Dover School. He lived in Orangeburg and Wagener, S.C., from 1964 to 1997. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 877th Airborne Engineer Battalion, Gilder Attachment. He served in World War II in Normandy on D-Day, and Northern France. He married Agnes Ruth Croft in 1947 and was married 49 years. In 1997 he married Ravenell Sweat. Coy was a member of Dover United Methodist Church and was active at the annual church bazaar as the "boiled peanut man". He was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association. Coy loved his Lord, his country and his family. He was a devoted grandfather. His parents; brothers, Tully and Herbert; sisters, Tommie Rue and Sarah Will; and his wife, Ruth, pr edeceased him. Coy is survived by his wife, Ravenell; his son, Henry Coy "Hank" Bowdoin Jr., and wife Sarah of Orangeburg, S.C.; and daughter Ruth Ann Owens and husband Wyndham of Wagener, S.C.; grandchildren, Christin, Wyndham III, Wesley, Tony and Jamie; and four great-grandchildren. She was born April 17, 1948, in Bangor, the daughter of Leon and Virginia (Hanning) Caron. Sandra married Dana Foster of Bridgewater and lived in Houlton. Sandra is survived by her husband, Dana Foster of Bridgewater; two sons, Edward Foster of Lewiston and Derek Foster and fiance, Jessica Arsenault, of Lewiston; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and David Harris of Littleton; six brothers, Pete Caron and wife, Serena, of Danforth, Jeff Caron and wife, Violet, Terry Caron, all of Wytopitlock, Ollie Caron and wife, Janet, of Linneus, Gary Caron of Carey, Ronald Caron and wife, Heidi, of Houlton; two sisters, Pam Simon of Milo and Nancy Caron of Littleton; two brothers-in-law, Donnie Delong of New Brunswick, Darrell Lee of Danforth; one special grandson, Joseph W. Anderson of Houlton; three stepgrandchildren, Jessica Harris, Quinn Harris, Karissa Harris, all of Hodgdon; one great-stepgrandson, Damin Harris of Hodgdon, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends, especially "the coffee club" friends. Also, among the love of her family, Sandra had a dear friend that helped her in every possible way he could. The family thanks you Chris Moran. David Louis Coignet, 61, a native and resident of Houma, died at 2:27 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005.Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. He then owned LeJardin Sur Le Bayou Bed and Breakfast and Gardens in Bourg for 12 years prior to retiring.He served on the Board of Directors of the Terrebonne Parish Tourist Commission and Louisiana Bed and Breakfast Association, and was a member of the CCA, Red Stick Fly Fishing Club of Baton Rouge, IGFA, Terrebonne Bird Club and Baton Rouge Audubon Society.He was happiest outdoors, enjoying fly-fishing, birding and gardening. He actively worked to protect our environment and natural resources, planting native plants and trees to create habitat for wildlife. Edward A. DePeau, 88, of Somers died Saturday, (December 17, 2005) at his residence surrounded by family. Born in Stafford Springs, he was the son of the late Alfred and Amy (Vickers) DePeau. He attended Stafford schools and was also a graduate of Bay Path College. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division Glider Service in Europe for four years and was honorably discharged at the end of the war. He was employed for 46 years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford as an Engine Test Technician. He also worked for the Connecticut Education Association for over ten years in the building maintenance department. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Constance (Percival) DePeau of Somers; seven sons, Alfred and his wife, Darlene of Somers, Kenneth and his wife, Marcia of Union, Dwight and his wife, JoAnne of Longmont, CO, Edward and his wife, Jackie of Stafford Springs, Dana of Somers, Alan and his wife, Lisa of Ridgeway, VA, and Norman and his wife, Sharon of Derry, NH; four daughters, Donna and her husband, Raymond Hurd of Las Vegas, NV, Diane and her husband, Terry Carleton of Somers, Dorothy DePeau and her husband, Stephen D'Esopo of Londonderry, NH, and Brenda and her husband, Michael Peloso of Willington; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Eva D. Mitchell -- November 5, 1909 - December 16, 2005 -- PLAINFIELD -Eva D. Mitchell, 96, formerly of 14 Winsor Ave. died Friday evening at Village Manor Health Care. She was born in Landoff, New Hampshire, November 5, 1909 a daughter of the late Jean and Annie (Hibbard) Fortier and had resided in Plainfield for more than 50 years.Mrs. Mitchell had been employed by several area textile mills, retiring many years ago. She was a parishioner of St. John The Apostle Church and was a member of American Legion Post #91 Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post #5446 Ladies Auxiliary and the Plainfield Senior Citizens. Her hobbies included collecting porcelain dolls and ceramics. She was the wife of John W. Mitchell who died December 6, 1996. Surviors include two sons, Wilbur O. DALTON -- George X. Geoffrion, 82, of 52 Sunset Drive died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Adams on Sept. 6, 1923, son of Louis and Louise Mercier Geoffrion, he attended schools there and took carpentry classes at Pittsfield High School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. A carpenter, Mr. Geoffrion was a foreman for Joseph Francese for 25 years. He also was self-employed designing and building homes on Cape Cod, retiring in 1982. He was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church. He was a member of Carpenters' Union Local 624 and of the Berkshire Carvers. A sailor, he built his first boat and enjoyed woodcarving and fishing. He and his wife, the former Saili Masengo, were married Sept. 7, 1946. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Nancy Paolillo of Brookline, and Jean Joseph and Barbara Gibson, both of Pittsfield; a brother, Charles Geoffrion of Fredericksburg, Va.; a sister, Marie Brielman of Pittsfield; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. FRANKLIN - Laura Hebert, 95, formerly of School Street, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at the St. Francis Home. She was born in Franklin on Feb. 28, 1910, the daughter of Henry and Mathilda (Gagne) Hebert. She resided in Franklin most of her life. Miss Hebert worked as a cook at the rectory of St. Paul Parish in Franklin for many years. She also was a cook at Our Lady of The Mountains Rectory in Conway for 11 years. Laura was a member of the former Catholic Daughters of America, Court Annie Nesmith in Franklin and the former Franklin Senior Citizens. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church. CHICOPEE - Anita A. (Laframboise) Pirog, 92, of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at the Riverdale Gardens Nursing Home. Born March 1, 1913, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Hajna) Laframboise, she was a lifelong Chicopee resident. She was a graduate of Chicopee High School, Class of 1930. Anita was a 15 year assistant manager for the former Albert Steiger's Co. at the Springfield Plaza, retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr, and a member of its Rosary Society and Beautiful Years Club. She was also a member of the Over 60 Club of Chicopee. She was predeceased by her husband, Max J. Pirog in 1968, her daughter Regina M. Thurman in 1982, and her son Paul P. Pirog in 2003. Nita is survived by 2 sons John D. Pirog and his wife Gail of Chicopee, and David A. Pirog and his wife Joy of Canton, MA; a daughter Linda E. Leydon of Palmer, a daughter-in-law Doris Pirog of Chester, VA; a brother Arthur E. Laframboise and his wife Ann of Westfield, 2 sisters Florence D. Kwarcinski of Chicopee, and Ruth M. Frodema of Sudbury; 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. LACONIA - Mrs. Juliette Morin, 91, formerly of Summer Street, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at the St. Francis Home. She was the widow of Sylvio B. Morin, who died in 2001. Mrs. Morin was born February 2, 1914, in Courcelles, Quebec, the daughter of Philemon and Marie Louise (Cloutier) Laverdierre. After her graduation, Mrs. Jenny (as she was affectionately known) worked with State Bank for eight years. She then devoted her life to her husband and family. Together, she and her husband spent a great deal of time traveling across the country, attending LSU sporting events (she was a huge fan), and whenever possible going to see one of her favorite entertainers, Lawrence Welk.Mrs. Berard was also active in the community. She was a bowler for 35 years and a member of the New Iberia Women’s Bowlers Association, and actively supported Catholic High School, attending many sporting events and helping out when needed. She was a generous and loving person and will be deeply missed.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles F. Berard Jr.; a sister, Gloria L. LEOMINSTER -- Raymond L. LeBlanc, 79, of 93 Mooreland Ave., died Saturday, Dec. 17, in Keystone Center, after an illness. He was born in Leominster on Oct. 18, 1926, the son of Willie and Malinda (Dupuis) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was a lifelong resident of Leominster, he was a graduate of Leominster High School, a member of St. Cecilia’s Church, and charter member of the Franco-American War Veterans of Leominster.He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, serving on the USS Montague. He received the World War II victory medal, Asiatic Pacific medal.Mr. LeBlanc retired from Sterilite Co. of Townsend in 1988 as tool and die maker.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Therese O. Mary (Levesque) Wells -- March 18, 1942 - December 16, 2205 -- MYSTIC - Mary (Levesque) Wells, age 63, of 55 Pumpkin Hill Road, died Friday, December 16, 2005, from injuries sustained after a fire in her home. She was born on March 18, 1942, daughter of Felix & Josephine (Scarback) Levesque, and lived in Mystic for many years, she had previously lived in Virginia. She was a homemaker and loved country music and traveling to visit her family.She leaves her husband, Wayne Wells of Mystic. She was a loving mother and is survived by her six sons,Robert Levesque and his companion, Amy Hart of Putnam, John Marszalkowski Jr. of Putnam, Edward Marszalkowski and his wife Patricia of Norfolk, VA., Marty Marszalkowski of Montville, Wesley Wells of Mystic, and Steven Wells, also of Mystic; her two daughters, Rose Marie Board, and her husband Lynn Board of Westerly, RI, and Terri Stratton and her husband Rick Treadway of Moyock, NC; three brothers, Joseph Levesque and Henry Levesque, both of Torrington, CT and Alfred Levesque of Florida. She also leaves two sisters, Lillian Spearing of Camp Hill, PA. and Rose Marszalskowski of Southbridge; three grandchildren, Linda Engles and Andrew Mozdzierz of Westerly, RI and Erin Stratton of Moyock, NC; two greatgrandchildren, Joshua Engles and Dakota Engles, both of Westerly, RI. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Michael Engles and Kelly Engles.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, from 5:007:00 pm in the ShawMajercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster. WORCESTER— Jane K. (Lizotte) Gouin, 59, of 28 Barnes Ave. died Friday, Dec. 16. She leaves her husband of 22 years, David J. Gouin; her son, Patrick D. Gouin and a brother, Arthur F. "Buddy" Lizotte, Jr. both of Worcester. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Arthur F. and Agnes C. (Cox) Lizotte and graduated from North High School in 1964. She then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology at Worcester Junior College. Jane worked as a medical technician at the Fallon Clinic on Plantation St. Previously, she was a teacher’s aide at Mt. View Middle School in Holden, a Co-Owner of O’Brien Religious Shop from1988-2001, and she also worked at City Hospital and Fairlawn Hospital. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Altrusa Club. Jane collected snowmen figurines, loved and embraced the Catholic Faith and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mary. She loved traveling to York Beach, and Lake Sebago, ME. The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 from the CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. AUBURN— William J. "Red" Nadeau, 84, of Clarendon Rd., died Friday, December 16th in the Radius Healthcare Center, Millbury after an illness. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Katherine M. (Anas) Nadeau; his three sons, William R. Nadeau of North Oxford, Philip J. Nadeau of Worcester and Timothy P. Nadeau of Leicester; three grandchildren, Erin, Chris and Lyndsey Nadeau as well as several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by all of his younger siblings, Robert Nadeau, Barbara Donahue, Shirley Nadeau and Phyllis Bousquet. He was born and raised in Worcester, a son of the late William R. and Rose M. (Poutre) Nadeau. He grew up in Main South area of Worcester and graduated from South High School. He entered the Army in 1942 and served as an aircraft mechanic with the 47th Air Depot group of the Air Corps during World War II in Asiatic Pacific Theater, and was discharged as a Master Sergeant. Following the war, Mr. Nadeau worked in steel manufacturing and then co-owned Cambridge Tydol Gas for 10 years. He then worked as an insurance broker for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., retiring 1981. He reached many sales achievements and qualified for several company awards, including the Presidents Club in 1960. He also played semi-pro softball as a pitcher in the Worcester area when he was young. He was a life member and past commander of the Chester P. Tuttle American Post 279 in Auburn and the AARP. He enjoyed reading and writing, having contributed to several publications through the years. He also loved to tinker around home and built several additions to the family home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 20th from 6-8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. A prayer service will be held at 7 PM. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21st at 9 AM from the funeral home with a service at 10 AM in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 53 Salisbury St., Worcester. David Joseph Pellegrin Sr., 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Bourg, died at 4:34 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005.Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.He is survived by his wife, Loretta Blanchard Pellegrin; four sons, Donald Pellegrin and wife, Dorothy, of Schriever, David "Pocho" Pellegrin Jr. and wife, Judith, Marty Pellegrin and wife, Nancy, and Eric Pellegrin and wife, Desie, of Bourg; two daughters, Tena Theriot and husband, Jerome, of Bayou Blue, and Melanie Voisin and husband, Troy, of Bourg; three brothers, Usy "Black" Pellegrin of Houma, Eugene "Skip" Pellegrin and Daniel "Butch" Pellegrin of Chauvin; one sister, Barbara Carlos of Chauvin; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Usy Pellegrin Sr. and Linda Theriot Pellegrin; one brother, Donald Pellegrin; and one sister, Bella Authement.He was a self-employed entrepreneur. He was a member of the Lions Club and Woodmen of the World and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

MIDDLEBURY — Richard Pominville died Dec. 16, 2005, at home, with prostate cancer.He was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Leicester, the son of Eugene and Alberta (Larocque).He graduated from Middlebury High School in 1948.Mr. Pominville married Shirley Grice in 1953. They owned and operated a dairy farm in Middlebury. In 1966, he was named Outstanding Young Farmer by the Vermont State Jaycees. He was a "Farm Journal" panelist and contributed to numerous other publications for innovative farming techniques. He served on many agricultural committees.His civic contributions included serving 12 years on local elementary and secondary school boards, state president of the Dairy Herd Improvement Association, a Middlebury Rotarian, a member of the National Bank of Middlebury Board of Directors, a board member of the Vermont Land Use Commission and a member of the Middlebury zoning board.He enjoyed playing the organ, ski-doodling, and downhill skiing. In the early 1980s, he became an artist, a college student, an avid hiker of Vermont peaks and the Long Trail, a cross-country skier, a biker who participated in triathlons and a cancer survivor.Mr. Pominville married Sandra Disorda in 1989 on the peak of Camel's Hump. During the 1990's, he served on the Middlebury Board of Selectmen.Survivors include his wife; five children, Charles, Kathy, Jon, Joel and Beth; eight grandchildren; his first wife, Shirley; three sisters, Yvette, Marie and Susan; and a brother, Maurice.He was predeceased by his siblings, Frances, Charles and Patricia Simone.The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, at St. Mary's Church in Middlebury.Memorial contributions may be made to Elderly Services Scholarship Fund in Middlebury.Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson Funeral Service in Middlebury.
