Albert "Al" Benoit, Jr., 68, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Margery (Lamoureaux) Benoit, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital early Friday morning, (December 16, 2005) following a short illness. Al, the only son of the late Albert and Louise (Witkowski) Benoit, was born December 3, 1937 in Hartford where he was raised and lived until he was married and moved to Glastonbury in 1965. He worked hard all his life to protect and provide for his wife and two children. Al was a great and loving man and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was an avid golfer and a diehard Red Sox fan. He was very involved with his church and was a minister of the Eucharist and a lector since the inception of St. Dunstan Church in 1970. He worked as an underwriter for a family owned insurance company in Manchester for 30 years before joining the Filene's Company in Manchester where he worked in Security for the last ten years. Al is survived by his loving family, his wife of 42 years, Margery Benoit; his daughter, Karen Benoit of Glastonbury, and her fiance Eric Roller; his son, Kevin Benoit of San Jose, CA, and his family Melanie Benoit and his beloved granddaughter, Rebecca Sky Benoit. Funeral service will be Monday, Dec. 19 at 9:15 a.m. from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Dunstan, Manchester Rd., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. ERNESTINE “SHORTY“ ROBERGE BURLINGTON — Ernestine “Shorty“ Roberge died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Ernestine most recently was a resident of Starr Farm Nursing Center in Burlington. She previously lived at the Cathedral Square Assisted Living in Burlington and Whitcomb Woods in Essex Junction. Ernestine was born in Newport on June 20, 1920. She was the daughter of Mary and Wilfred Bourassa. They moved to Burlington where she met and married her husband of 50 years, Louis P. Roberge. They were married on May 30, 1941. Her husband predeceased her in December of 1991. Louis P. Roberge was the originator of Louis Bread for Koffee Kup Bakery in Burlington. Shorty thoroughly enjoyed life. She was a very active person right up until the past few years of her life. She enjoyed entertaining, Bingo, playing cards, and the game of pool. She sang and played the guitar with her very dear friend, Walter Pretty Sr., and Sergio at many of the nursing homes and senior centers in the Burlington area. Shorty has one daughter, Dianna R. Blaise of Litchfield, N.H. Shorty was a totally devoted and loving mother. Her daughter was the center of her life. Shorty leaves three granddaughters and their husbands, Sherry and John Cushman of South Burlington, Cathy and Bill Foti of Manchester, N.H., and Carey and Steve Elmer of South Burlington. Her granddaughters brought her much pride, joy, and happiness. She loved them dearly. She leaves six greatgrandchildren, Derek and Alex Cushman, Nicholas, Christina, and Caroline Foti, and Theanna Elmer. Shorty leaves three sisters, Margaret Chagnon and her husband, Chester, of Burlington, Winifred Barlow of Winooski, and Bernadette Metevier of Milton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Charlotte LaBrake and Antoinette Baker; and her brother, Frederick Bourassa. Shorty's family wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the nurses, aides, and staff at Cathedral Square Assisted Living, Starr Farm Nursing Center, and FAHC, for their love and compassionate care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Catholic Church in Burlington. Interment will follow in New Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winooski.

Kristopher L. DeMars, age 27, of Neche, ND died on Thursday, December 15, 2005, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Kristopher Lane DeMars was born October 18, 1978, at Cavalier, ND to Leland and Linda (Guenther) DeMars. He grew up at Neche and graduated from Neche High School in 1997. Kris attended flight school in Bainbridge, Georgia. After returning to Neche he was employed by Augie's Flying Service, Crystal, ND. Kris enjoyed life along with hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Neche United Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, Lee and Linda DeMars, Neche, ND, brothers, Kerry (Carole) DeMars and children, Cyndi and Kylle, Grafton, ND, Kelly (Carole) DeMars and children, Fauna, Jazmyn, Kaely, and Addie Mae, Warren, MN, Kevin (Janette) DeMars and children, Alyssa and Nicole, sister, Kim DeMars, Neche, ND. Eustis P. Guillemet, Sr., a retired long shoreman, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 of pneumonia at Meadowcrest Hospital. He was 92. Eustis was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA and attended New Orleans Public Schools. he served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a member of St. Raymond Catholic Church and a past member of the Holy Name Society. He was married to the late Thelma J. Guillemet and the father of Eustis Jr. and the late Clarence Guillement. Survivors include his son, Eustis Jr.; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Morrell Guillemet; 2 grandchildren: Kenneth Guillemet and Crystal Guillemet-Williams; 5 great-grandchildren: Ryan and Tiffany Guillemet, Jonathan, Nijel and McKenzie Williams; one granddaughter-in-law, Debbie Casey-Guillemet; and one grandson-in-law, Ricky B. FORTIER, JUNE A. (JOHNSON), 74, of Revere Avenue, died Thursday at RI Hospital. She was the wife of the late Normand R. Fortier. Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Walter and Pauline (Curtis) Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick. Mrs. Fortier was a sewer at Holiday Products for twenty years then she was a cafeteria aid at Rowe Automatic Sales for seven years before retiring in 1992. She was still working part time as a file clerk at Anesthesia Professionnals Inc. and was a paper carrier for the Kent County Daily Times. She was a member of West Warwick Chapter of the AARP and was in their bowling league at Mac's Bowlaway Lanes. She volunteered at SS. John & James's bingo, bazaar and helped in the kitchen. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.She leaves three daughters, Gail J. McKenna of Scituate, Cindy A. Ferri of West Warwick and Cathy J. Fortier of Coventry; a sister Arlene Hebert of West Warwick; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson. DRACUT -- Anne D. (Keefe) Gagne, 92, a Dracut resident who was a retired assembler, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, at a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Russell P. Gagne.She was born in North Andover, Nov. 28, 1913, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Gibbons) Keefe. She graduated from Lawrence High School.Before retiring, Mrs. Gagne was an assembler for Western Electric Corp. which became AT&T. Previously, she worked in the Wood mills in Lawrence. She was a member of the Commercial Workers of America.Mrs. Gagne was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church.Family members said she was a hard worker and an excellent seamstress who made many of her children's clothes.She is survived by a son, Elias E. MONUMENT BEACH - '' Agnes Kostka Therrien, 85, died Thursday at her home. She was the wife of the late Stanley Kostka, who died in 1967, and the late James Therrien, who died in 1978. Mrs. Therrien was raised in Taunton and attended Taunton schools. She lived in Taunton and Attleboro before moving to her summer home in Monument Beach. She was the owner of the Ward 8 Club restaurant for 25 years.She enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching the sunset and raising her family. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. LaMarche, 92, of Holland, Pa., died on Thursday, Dec. 15, at St. Mary Medical Center.Born in Ironwood, Mich., the son of the late and Henrietta Daniels LaMarche, he was a resident of Holland, Pa., for the past two moHenry nths, having formerly lived in Woodhaven, N.Y., and Hackensack, N.J.He started working as a waiter at Longchamps Restaurant in the Empire State Building in New York and had the pleasure of waiting on several very prominent people during the time he worked there.He worked in the tool-and-die profession for more than 40 years in New Jersey, and as an air brake mechanic for the New York Transit Authority until his retirement in 1978.He was very active in his community and believed everyone should give back. He did this as a volunteer ambulance corps driver and chaplain in Queens, N.Y., and then volunteered in the emergency room at Hackensack Hospital for more than 23 years. As a result, he was honored as the oldest EMT in the state of New Jersey by the Bergen Record. When he wasn't volunteering, he enjoyed spending time square dancing, traveling and on activities with the local AARP chapter.He is survived by his beloved wife, Regina Jankoski LaMarche, whom he married in 1979; his loving children, Tish Moodhe of Delray Beach, Fla., T.J. LaMarche of Las Vegas, Nev., Karen Harris of Lewiston, Colette LaMarche of Milford, Pa., Robert Miller of Churchville, Pa., and Thomas Miller of Red Bank, N.J.; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret "Peggy" Lynch LaMarche, in 1977; and children, Daniel LaMarche and Phyllis Keebler.

Guimond B. Lambert, 61, of Goffstown died December 15, 2005 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Tring-Junction, Quebec on June 3, 1944, he was the son of Clement and Maria Anna (Vachon) Lambert. He lived in Goffstown for 40 years. Mr. Lambert worked as a carpenter with Union Local 67 and 40 in Boston for many years. He was a life member of the Rimmon Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus 2nd degree. The family includes his wife of 34 years, Doris B. (Goudreau) Lambert of Goffstown; two daughters, Lisa Lambert-Cazares of Goffstown and Kelly Gilbert of Manchester; two grandchildren; four sisters, Jeanne d’Arc Labbe, Yvette Messier, Claire-Helene Lessard and Nicole Sylvain all of Quebec; seven brothers, Aristide Lambert, Louis-Hebert Lambert, Leonard Lambert and Ghislain Lambert all of Quebec, Valerien Lambert of Manchester and Pierre Lambert and Conrad Lambert both of Quebec; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. IN HIS LIFE: He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren, Kayla Nicole and Ian Joseph. He also loved his sons in law, Ivan and David. He enjoyed traveling and hunting and fishing at his summer home in Canada. Known by all his family and friends as a joker, he will be greatly missed. He was brother of the late Beatrice Curtis and Dora Kelly. Born in Uxbridge on June 5 1924 he was the son of Joseph M. and Aldea M. (Gervais) Montville and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Montville owned and operated Montville Oil and Trucking in Uxbridge for 30 years. Previously he was a farmer for 30 years. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School Class of 1942 and was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 166th Engineer Battalion in the European Theater. He served on the Uxbridge Board of Health, the Planning Board, and the Housing Authority and was a member of the Charles A. Rice American Legion and VFW Post 1385. He was a Volunteer Firefighter serving as a Captain on Engine 3. His funeral will be held at a time and place to be announced. She was born in Salmon Falls, N.H., on Feb. 16, 1925, a daughter of Ernest and Beatrice Bourgeois Roux. Rita graduated from Sommersworth High School, Class of 1942. She married her husband William F. Hayes on June 6, 1946. Mrs. Hayes was a home-maker who loved to spend time with her family. Her hobbies included knitting, needlework and crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her dogs. Mrs. Hayes was a parishioner of St. Margaret's Church in Old Orchard Beach. She is survived by her husband of 59 years William F. Hayes of Saco; two daughters, Veronia Ronnie Steinsky and her husband Rudy of Moultonboro, N.H., and Donna Hayes of Ashaway, R.I. Louise R. Dubois 49 of Goffstown and formerly of Merrimack died Friday December 16, 2005 at her residence after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.She was born in Nashua, April 26, 1956, and was the daughter of the late Wilfred, and Lora (Watkins) Dubois. Jeannette C. Foley, 68, of Manchester, died December 15, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Born in Manchester on December 26, 1936, she was the daughter of both deceased Arthur and Eugenie (Duquette) Lapointe. She was a member of St. Raphael's Parish for over 40 years. She attended St. Anthony's School and was a member of the class of 1954. She was employed by the former Ferretti's supermarket for many years. She retired in 1999 from The Bank of New Hampshire after a 14 year career. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as cooking and gardening. She loved entertaining and visiting her family and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Family members include her devoted, loving husband of 45 years, Cornelius F. Foley of Manchester; two daughters: Shawna and David Lemire of Bedford, Tricia and Michael Bates of Hollis; two sons: John and Rosie (O'Toole) Foley, Neil Foley and Shannon Audley of Concord; three grandchildren; Alyssa, Graham and Harrison; a step-grandchild, Emma; a close nephew Leon Lapointe; several aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Francois Lapointe in 1964. Calling hours will be Monday from 6pm to 8pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Raphael's Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Donald St. Bedford. Jean Paul Lavoie, 72, of Rindge, NH, died Thursday, (December 15, 2005) at his home. He was born on November 18, 1933 in Newport, VT, son of the late Francis and Coronna (Dube) Lavoie. Mr. Lavoie had served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. After the service, Mr. Lavoie became a member of the Operating Engineers in Philadelphia, PA, moved to Vernon, in 1968 and retired as an Assistant Service Manager in 1989. After moving to Rindge, NH, in 1993, Mr. Lavoie worked briefly at the Rindge Memorial School and then for the Town of Fitzwilliam at the Recycling Center until this past June. Mr. Lavoie was a Past Governor of the Rockville, CT Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1574. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and found great pleasure touring Lake Contoocook in his boat. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Mr. Lavoie was predeceased by his infant son and his first wife, Patricia (Donahue) Lavoie. Mr. Lavoie is survived by his wife of 35 years, Madeleine (Caron) Lavoie of Rindge; his three daughters, Suzanne McQueen of Rockville, DeAnne Ransom of Stafford Springs, and Coronna Antinelle of New Ipswich, NH; his son Mark Lavoie of West Brookfield, VT; seven grandchildren; his sister Theresa Rouillard of Claremont, NH; his three brothers, Valmore Lavoie of Peny, FL, Hector Lavoie of Wolcott, and George Lavoie of Newport City, VT; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. CHICOPEE – Rose Alice (Tetreault) Kravitz, 74, of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 with her loving children at her side. She was born in the Aldenville section of Chicopee on March 23, 1931 a beloved daughter of the late Edgar and Eva (Vincent) Tetreault. She lived in Springfield for several years before returning to Chicopee where she lived for most of her life. She was employed for over 25 years by the former A. G. Spalding Company in the Willimansett section of Chicopee and retired in 1993. She leaves her loving children, Charles E. Zajchowski and Cheryl A. Zajchowski, both of Chicopee. Her three cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Zajchowski and Matthew Zajchowski, both of Springfield and Michelle Saltmarsh and her husband Lee of Chicopee. Her cherished great-grandson, Travis Zajchowski of Springfield. Her dear brothers and sisters, Edward Tetreault of Chicopee, Roger Tetreault of South Hadley, Loretta Rojko of Greenfield, Jeanette Grevin of Holyoke and Theresa Mascaro of Chicopee and her many dear nephews and nieces. She also leaves her longtime friend, Bernard W. "Bunny" Calnin of Chicopee and her loving companion and constant friend, her beloved poodle, Mindy.
