JAMES, Harvey Lloyd In loving memory of Harvey Lloyd James, 87 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Sunday, December 11th, 2005 at the Extendicare-Falconbridge, Sudbury. He was born in Powassan and married Geraldine (Hildebrant) in 1938 in Copper Cliff. Harvey came to Sudbury in 1936. A master electrician by trade he was a successful entrepreneur & businessman who during his life owned local service stations, James Electric, Mammouth Movers, King Cartage and Two Way Sound. A proud Canadian he was a WWII Veteran and he belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76, Sudbury. A pistol enthusiast he had belonged to the Sudbury Revolver Club. He enjoyed playing the violin and talking with his HAM operator friends. In younger days he coached minor hockey and he was an avid hunter. Beloved husband of Geraldine (Hildebrant) James predeceased 2005. Loving father of Wayne (wife Mildred predeceased) (partner Eileen) of Sudbury and Bonne Prestage (husband Dwaine predeceased) of Edmonton. Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Darin, Leah (husband Avery) and Leslie (husband Neil); great-grandchildren Bobby, Vanessa, Zackary, Aiden, Kaila, Madison and Jacob. COLE, Carl William (1927-2005) "Heaven opened its arms and received a very special soul". On December 12th, 2005, Carl passed away peacefully at Sudbury Laurentian Hospital surrounded by his family. Carl was a very special man and all who knew him will remember him as a kind and giving person. Carl lived life to its fullest enjoying the company of family and friends whether on the golf course, bowling, snowmobiling or curling. He loved the casino and slot machines, enjoying a few lucky jackpots. Carl lived his summers at one of his very special places Noelville Trailer Park where he adopted a second family of friends. This is where he received his nickname "crash" which came about due to a few small mishaps with motorized machines. Carl was born in Toronto moving to Sudbury in 1963 to run a few local businesses. He is now with his cherished best friend Gwendolyne (wife predeceased 1990) and will be sadly missed by his children Debbie Owen (husband Ken), Bill Cole (wife Diane) and Robin Ouellette (husband Denis). He was survived by his sisters Beatrice Carter (husband Nick) and Ruth Hutton (husband Jerry predeceased) of Toronto. He will always be remembered by his loving grandchildren, Christopher, Jay, Lee, Julie, Christine, Aaron and Patrick. At Carl's request a public memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2005 at the Lockerby Legion on Long Lake Rd. from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., prayers at 1:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are welcome to share memories, feelings and stories about Carl. Mrs. Catherine (Archambault) Mullaney, 94, died Sunday December 11, 2005, at Waterbury Extended Care in Watertown. She was the widow of Francis J. Mullaney.Mrs. Mullaney was born February 12, 1911, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Louis and Sarah (Murray) Archambault. A lifelong resident of Waterbury, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Wilby High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing. An avid reader and writer she loved all manner of literature, loved animals, Notre Dame football and the New York Yankees. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.She is survived by one son, Terence V. Mullaney, of Columbia, S.C.; one daughter, Clare H. Waltham – Mrs. Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (Aucoin) Boudreau of Waltham died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 77.Born in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, a daughter of the late Thomas and Sophie (Deveau) Aucoin, she moved to Waltham in 1955. Betty was a former employee of the Cleavite Company and the Raytheon Corporation and then spent many years as a homemaker. She enjoyed an active life including golf and skiing. Betty was a lifelong member of Saint Joseph’s Parish of Waltham where she was active in the Women’s Guild and other church support activities. After Saint Joseph’s closing, she became a communicant at Sacred Heart Church in Waltham. She was also a member of the French-American Victory Club Women’s Auxiliary.Betty was the beloved wife of 55 years to Henry Boudreau; loving mother of Kevin P. Boudreau and his wife Cindy of Waltham; and cherished grandmother of Luke, Ethan and Rachel Boudreau. She also leaves six sisters, Marie Helen Aucoin, Lucie Dora Aucoin and Germaine Campbell and her husband, Monty, all of Cheticamp, Julie Arsenault and her husband Paul of Edmonston, New Brunswick, Lorette Chiasson and her husband Marcel of Tewksbury and Therese Duff and her husband Randy of Hamilton, Ontario; four brothers, Luc Zenon and his wife Pauline of Hamilton, Ontario, Willie Joe and his wife Yvette, Wilfred and his wife Gemma and Alphonse and his wife, Dorothy, all of Cheticamp and many nieces and nephews. UXBRIDGE— Helen R. (Beaudoin) Dalbec, 87, died Monday, December 12, at Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. She is survived by two sons, Leo F. Jr. and his wife, Jean F. (Fox) Dalbec of Leicester, and Robert H. and his wife, Nadine L. (Bouthillette) Dalbec of Uxbridge; two daughter, Lucille F. and her husband Paul A. Barry of Whitinsville and Pauline H. and her husband John E. Morris of Mendon; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers Wilfred A. Beaudoin of Uxbridge and Leo A. Beaudoin of Uxbridge; a sister Lucille E. Christiansen of Uxbridge and several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her brother, Henry A. Beaudoin and her great granddaughter Mary Ames Dupuis. Born in Uxbridge on April 18, 1918, she was the daughter of Adelard and Emma (Bartlett) Beaudoin. She was a long life resident in Uxbridge. She worked for many years at Fenwal in Ashland as a supervisor, and at Alpin’s clothing store in Milford. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and the former St. Anne’s Society. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, December 14, from the Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 21 Linwood Street. Domenique "Ernie" Carrier, 77, of Hartford, formerly of Keegan, ME, passed away at his home on Sunday, (December 11, 2005). He is survived by his beloved wife Beatrice (Gray) Carrier from whom he was inseparable for 55 years. He will be sorely missed by his three sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Joyce Carrier of Windsor Locks, Ronald and Ann Carrier of Newington, and Thomas and Marsha Carrier of Rocky Hill. He dearly loved and was proud of his seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Carrier) Dorman of Bethlehem, PA, Amie Carrier of Knoxville, TN, Joelle Carrier of Windsor Locks, Amanda and Andrew Carrier of Newington, and Matthew and Christopher Carrier of Rocky Hill. His great-grandson, Christian Carrier, will hold his "Pep" close to his heart as well. (Domenique) Ernie was the youngest of six children of Felix and Josephine (Daigle) Carrier and will be affectionately remembered as "Babe" by his sister Lucille (Carrier) Champa of Bristol. He was predeceased by two brothers, Romeo John Carrier of Bristol, Armand Carrier of Wethersfield and two sisters, Rita (Carrier) Ouellette of Bristol and Priscilla (Carrier) Rajtar of Bristol. He leaves behind four sisters-in-law, Irene (Gray) Tracy of Punta Gorda, FL, Bernice (Gray) Blanchette of Bristol, Maxine Carrier of Wethersfield and Adrienne Carrier of Bristol. Five nieces and nine nephews will fondly remember him as well. He had been employed by Royal Typewriter in Hartford for nearly 27 years and then retired from Travelers Insurance in Hartford after 17 years of service. As a faithful communicant of Saint Augustine Church in Hartford for over 50 years, he will be remembered in the prayers of fellow communicants and clergy as well. His family will regard his legacy as a selfless man who gave his all to his family and reflected in thought, word and deed - the loving God in whom he had immense faith. He always put the needs of others before his own. It was often said of him that he could fix anything but a broken heart. Yet, even then, his family recalls how his quiet and gentle strength helped lift a down-trodden spirit when it was needed. The Red Sox, NY Giants and UCONN's men and women's basketball have all lost a long-time fan. There would surely be a twinkle in his eye knowing that some of his prodigy will carry that support. The family thanks family, friends and coworkers for the support extended during the past few weeks. BOUSQUET, Donna Elaine Taylor (Buckley) -- Of Sacramento, CA, passed away in the early hours of December 11, 2005, from complications resulting from cardiac arrest she suffered on Nov. 29, 2005. Elaine was born Dec. 25, 1934, in Ogden, UT. She was the only daughter of Donna Elizabeth (Bluemel) and Maurice Buckley. She was reared mostly in Ogden and attended school there. It was while in school that she discovered a passion for reading and singing. In May 1951, Elaine married Donald R. Taylor, and together they had five children. Elaine and Don divorced in 1993. Her occupation was her family. She was always there when you needed her, totally devoted to her kids. Her varied interests revolved around her family and her many furkids, as well as genealogy, scrap-booking, and reading. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, working in Primary, Relief Society, Sunday School, and Young Women's organizations. She was Primary president three times. She was also a member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Elaine is survived by her first husband, Donald Taylor Sr., and their five children, Vivan (Mike) Knorr, Ferren (Jill) Taylor, Don (Marsha) Taylor Jr., Shawn (Lorri Ann) Taylor, and Kristy Taylor. She is also survived by her second husband Eugene Bousquet, whom she married in June 1999; and her brothers Walter Buckley of Omaha, NE, and Michael Smith of Ogden. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Maurice Buckley, and grandson Bryan Taylor, as well as many beloved pets. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church building at 8583 Watt Ave., Antelope, CA, at 10:00 AM on Dec. 17. Burial will follow at East Lawn Sierra Hills Cemetery on Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a pet rescue group of your choice in Elaine's name. DSC John E. Comeau, USN, (Ret.) age 75 , of Concord died Monday December 12, 2005 at his Concord home. He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Festo) Comeau.Born in Ipswich on February 26, 1930 he was the son of the late Henry E. and Rosilda (Gallant) Comeau. He attended Ipswich schools and Ipswich High School. A Navy veteran from 1947 until 1967, Mr. Comeau served aboard the USS Worcester from 1948 until 1955 during the Korean Conflict.In 1990 he retired after twenty-three years as an industrial instructor at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard.A Concord resident since 1968, he was a eucharistic minister at Emerson Hospital and at the former Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in West Concord. He was also a volunteer at the Concord Prison Farm and Walden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and was a member of the Musketaquid Sportsmans Club.Survivors include two sons, John E. Comeau Jr. of Townsend and David H. GUIBERT, Armand G. - October 13, 1920 - December 9, 2005 In Loving Memory Born in San Francisco to French immigrants, Armand attended Sacred Heart High School (1941) and U.C. Berkeley, where he was awarded a B.S. degree in chemistry (1945) and a M.S. degree in mechanical engineering (1951). He married Frances Marchionni in 1946 and raised three children in Orinda, where he resided for over 50 years. Armand died peacefully at Aegis of Moraga, where he and Fran lived for the past three and a half years. Armand worked for Smith Corona Marchant, Oakland, as an engineer and patent agent. He loved the outdoors and was active with the Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed music and was a member of the St. Monica's parish choir for many years. Armand is survived by his wife, Frances; daughter, Judy (George) Marquis of Orinda; son, Gerry (Wanda) Guibert of San Juan Bautista; daughter, Jackie (Art) Cimento of San Francisco; sister, Yvonne Barros of San Leandro; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. LACONIA — Rachel Marie Martel, 86, formerly of 46 High Street, died Sunday afternoon, December 11, 2005 at St. Francis Health Care Center in Laconia. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Fecteau) Guyer. She was born in Laconia on December 20, 1918 and had been a life long resident. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Laconia, and a member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart. She was also a member of l'association Canado Americaine.Prior to her retirement she worked as a looper at the former Cormier Hosiery in Laconia. She also worked in the cafeteria for many years at the Sacred Heart School. From 1962-1971 she was a Brownie Leader with the Sacred Heart Church Girl Scouts Troop 689, from 1972-1980 she was an assistant leader, and from 1981-1992 she was a Committee Woman. She was also active with the Laconia Girl Scouts-Swift Water Council, and a member of the Laconia Girls Corporation-Camp Winsheblo for 20 years. She was also a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts Pack 62 of Sacred Heart Church. She loved music and entertaining others. She and her sisters were often heard singing on live radio at WLNH.She was predeceased by her husband Aime F. Martel in 2001, and by a grandson, Jeffrey Martel in 1990.She is survived by five sons, Richard Martel, Kenneth Martel, Roger Martel, and Robert Martel all of Laconia, and Patrick Martel of Winnisquam; one daughter, Luanne Kabachis of Laconia; one brother Harold Guyer of Epsom; two sisters Anita Styring and Theresa Emery both of Destin, Florida. WINDHAM - Glenn F. Larrivee of Land of Nod Rd. died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at the Maine Medical Center. He was born in Gorham on Dec. 10, 1934 the son of Eugene and Shirley Marsh Larrivee. Glenn attended Cal-Flyers Aeronautical School in Inglewood, Calif., and also worked for American Airlines in California. Glenn had many careers in his working life including driving tractor trailer for J.J. Nissen and Hannaford Brothers, owning and operating Ray's Store with his wife on the Corner of Rt. 202 and River Rd. in Windham for 17 years. He had a garage built almost at the intersection of Rt. 202 and River Rd. and ran L & F Truck & Car Sales for nine years. He bought and remodeled the old Trigon Farm at the rotary in Windham and turned it into office space which he operated for 21 years, the space is now the location of Hanncock Lumber. He loved feeding the wild animals; he liked buying and repairing old tractors, owning several and was a member of the Maine Antique Tractor Club. He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting old tools. Glenn was a masterful craftsman who could build anything with his hands; he would cut and split 10 cord of wood a year from his land. He liked to cook. He is predeceased by his mother and father a son, Mark; a brother, Eugene; and his best friend, his dog Penny who was 21 years old. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy; a son, Michael Larrivee of Portland; two sisters, Audrey Shaw of St. Pete, Fla., and Louise Smith of Oxford, Fla.; and a brother-in-law, Gerald Shaw of Spring Hill, Fla. AUGUSTA - Leonard A. Lepage, 80, of 60 Baird Ave., Lewiston, went to be with the Lord as a result of an automobile accident on Dec. 9. He passed away at MaineGeneral Medical Center.He was born in Auburn on Nov. 27, 1925, to Jean and Laura (Maheux) Lepage.He was married to Dorothy Bosse of Lewiston on May 30, 1953, at St. Mary's Church in Lewiston.He attended Holy Family Church in Lewiston. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans, and he received the Purple Heart award as a result of an injury while serving in the Army during the Korean conflict.He worked in several mills in the area, including Bates and Worumbo, and was employed by Camden Yarns in Lewiston and Lisbon Falls until his retirement in 1987.During his lifetime, he enjoyed bowling, traveling, gardening, having cookouts with his family and playing volleyball, and was an avid card player and Red Sox fan. He was also a great animal lover.He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, of 52 years of Lewiston; three daughters, Linda Fluker and companion, Richard Carey, Doris Whittier and husband, Ronald, and Joline Lepage, all of Sabattus; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sister Delores Lepage of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Carmel St. Pierre of Lewiston, and Lucille Gauthier and husband, Robert, of Massachusetts; three brothers, Romeo Lepage and wife, Helen, of Auburn, and Emile Lepage and wife, Dolores, and Maurice Lepage and wife, Simonne, both of Connecticut; his mother-in-law, Laura Bosse of Lewiston; as well as several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by two sisters, Jeannette Lepage and Muriel Fournier; four brothers, Gustave, Joseph, Bertrand and Fernand; and a son-in-law, George Fluker.

BROADALBIN, NY -- Lionel (Lee) A. Parent, 59, of James Drive, Broadalbin died Sunday, December 11, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, following a short illness. He was born in the province of Quebec, Canada on April 7, 1946, a son of the late Alma Lussier Parent. Lee came to Cohoes as an infant and was educated and raised there. He was a 1964 graduate of the former Keveny Academy and later served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. Parent lived most of his life in Cohoes and moved to Broadalbin in 1991. He was employed as a business manager at the Tryon School in Johnstown, retiring in 2001. Lee was active in the community sports programs in both Cohoes and Broadalbin, coaching Little League and soccer. His main focus was his family and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid New York Giants fan and a sports enthusiast who loved talking sports with his family. Lee was a former member of the Adirondack Chapter of GWTA. He was predeceased by a sister, Valetta LaGue, who died in April 2005. Survivors include his wife, the former Sandra M. Roberts Parent, whom he married on September 14, 1969; two sons, Michael A. (Stacy) Parent of Schenectady and Petty Officer Bryan J. Parent, stationed in Groto, Conn.; a daughter, Nicole S. (Pete) Hunter of Gloversville; five brothers, Ted Parent of Saratoga, Paul Parent of Halfmoon and Clement Parent and Wilford Parent, both of Cohoes, and Frank Parent of Johnsonville; two sisters, Beatrice Charbonneau and Theresa Elliot, both of Cohoes; three grandchildren, Dalton, Kacie and Jeremiah Hunter; and several nieces, nephews, cousins. Catherine R. Thibdeau, 80, a previous resident of Georgetown for 32 years who made her home at Heritage Crest in Southbury for the past nine years, died in Danbury Hospital on Saturday December 10. DEERFIELD -- Wilfred "Wil" Routhier, 93, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at the home of his daughter after a long illness. He was born in Derry, the son of the late Odias and Adelina (Guilmette) Routhier. He attended Derry schools and was a resident of Derry most of his life before moving to Jensen's Mobile Home Park in Concord. Before his retirement, Wil and his brother, Roland, owned and operated Shamrock Dry Cleaners in Derry for more than 35 years. Wil enjoyed gatherings with his families and friends. He was a devoted and generous husband, grandfather and great-grandfather. At his daughter's home in Deerfield, he enjoyed sitting on the deck, reading and watching the birds on the bird feeders. He enjoyed going to the movies and eating out. Wil had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Moro of Deerfield and Beverly Philbrick of Concord; four granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roland Routhier of Derry and William Routhier of Palm Bay, Fla.; and one sister, Yvonne Bartlett of Barefoot Bay, Fla. DRACUT -- Marie-Marthe (Sirois) Marchand, 76, a longtime Dracut resident who was a member of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, died Sunday, Dec. 11, at a local nursing home. She was the wife of Ernest N. Marchand, with whom she celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, June 5.She was born in Lawrence on October 7, 1929, daughter of the late Ludger and Germaine (Schelling) Sirois. She received her education in Lawrence schools and graduated from Sacred Heart High School.Mrs. Marchand was very proud of the home she kept for her family in Dracut, where she had lived since 1957.She enjoyed sitting in the sun and being in the company of her husband, five children and 13 grandchildren.She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish at Ste. Therese Church in Dracut, where she found great joy and solace attending daily Mass there when able, and saying her Rosary. She also found great pleasure in sharing her faith with her children, whom she loved. She was especially proud of her sisters and her brother who had entered the ministry.Her family remembers her great patience and tolerance with her illness when she was confined to a wheelchair and unable to care for herself. BOURNE - Wayne Allen Trahan, 62, died unexpectedly Thursday at his home.Mr. Trahan was born in Attleboro, educated in Taunton and graduated from Taunton High School in 1961. He was a Vietnam War veteran and served four years in the Air Force and 16 years in the Coast Guard before retiring. He also served in the Merchant Marine.He was a member of Winthrop St. Baptist Church in Taunton. He moved to the Bourne area 10 years ago. Survivors include two sisters, Marilyn J. Repoza of Middleboro and Paula J. Jordan of Norwood; two nieces; and three nephews. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary's Square, Taunton, followed by graveside services at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

MADAWASKA - Raymonde Morin, 72, died Dec. 11, 2005, at a Fort Kent hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 8, 1933, in Cabano, P.Q., Canada, the daughter of Levite and Blanche (Breton) Violette. She is survived by three daughters, Karen Morin of Madawaska, Linda Caron and her husband, Louis, of St. Jacques, N.B., Canada and Susan Sabo and her husband, Daniel, of Hampden, Mass.; one brother, Rene? Violette of Cabano, P.Q., Canada; two sisters, Therese Dumas of Cabano, P.Q., Canada and Gertrude McHenry of Madawaska; seven grandchildren, Jenny Caron and her companion, Pierre, Cathy Dube and her husband, Robert, Carl and Charlene Caron, Christopher, Jamie and Sarah Sabo; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Morin in 1994; and by two sisters, Lucille D'Amours and Cecile Violette. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. until time of services Wednesday, at the Daigle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Contributions may be made in her memory to either the Susan G. Koman Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309 or to the Edgar J. Adele Marie Webre, age 87, on Thursday, December 8, 2005. Daughter of the late Edgar Webre and Annette Levert Webre. Sister of Mary Ethel Snorgrass, the late Francis, Clifford, Jay, Marcel, Robert and Edward Webre, Irene Torregano and Mae Phelps. Aunt and godmother of Annette Wolf. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ms. Webre was a parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr Church. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 64 years. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Lawrence the Martyr Church, 2501 Maine Ave., corner of Maine and 25th, Metairie, LA, on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Il était l'époux bien-aimé de Rita Beaupré (née Théoret) et le père aimant de Denis Beaupré (Nora) et de Jocelyne Overbury (Bruce), tous deux de Williamstown, de Lyse Pichie (Clarence) de Cornwall, de Lyne Hebbard-Langille (Ken) de Barrie, d'Alain Beaupré (Suzanne) de Williamstown et de Claire Ménard (Bob) d'Alexandria. L'ont prédécédé, son frère Lionel Beaupré et ses deux beaux-frères Fernand et Gérard Latreille. Il était le fils de feu Arthur Beaupré et de feu Emilia St-Germain et le beau-fils de feu Albert Latreille, et le grand-père adoré de Donald, Valérie, Véronique, Jennifer, David, Jason, Kyle, Sylvie, Curtis, Renée, Andrée, Claude, Chad et Maxime, et l'arrière-grand-père de Jonathan et Sébastien.
