Johnny Roy -- Sept. 5, 1927 - Nov. 29, 2005 -- SCOTT - Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Johnny Roy, 78, who died at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at his residence in Duson. Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Scott. The Rev. Gilbert J. Dutel, pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will be the celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Sharee Hunter, organist, will sing for the funeral services, "Be Not Afraid", "My Shepherd Is The Lord", "Come To The Water", "Look Beyond" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic".A native of Lafayette and lifelong resident of Duson, Mr. Roy was a veteran of military service having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW Post 9822 of Judice.Prior to his retirement, Mr. Roy worked for Dwight Andrus Homes for 28 years as a carpenter. Mary Ann Beaupre, 92, of Duluth, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005 in Benedictine Health Care Center. She was born Aug. 30, 1913 in Gilbert, Minn., to John and Frances (Hace) Shega. She married Lawrence Beaupre. Mary was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church; League of the Sacred Heart, St. Vincent DePaul; and Daughters of Isabella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; and her parents. Mary is survived by her sons, Lawrence R. (Georgina), Thomas P. (Kristen), Robert P. (Donna Lee), Gerald A. (Liuda), Ronald G. (Joann) all of Duluth; brother, Joseph (Esther) Shega of Gilbert, Minn.; sister, Margaret Setnicker of Biwabik, Minn.; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and gr-great-grandchildren. LeBLANC, LINDA W. (WOLFF), 66, of West Beach Road, died Monday at South County Hospital, Wakefield. She was the wife of Lawrence C. LeBlanc. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Elsie Wolff.We remember and celebrate the life of Linda LeBlanc - our wife, mother, nana, sister and friend. We are richer for having had her in our lives, because she shared with us the love and fairness that formed the foundation of her nature.Linda was very other-regarding. To the end, she was concerned with other people's needs and feelings. One of her greatest gifts was the ability to create beauty in any environment. These qualities will live on in our surroundings and in ourselves. Linda's optimism for life was challenged by illness and life circumstance. She faced these hurdles with bravery, grace, dignity and pragmatism. Her response was always to love. She has left this world and moved into the eternal hand of our Creator, and she will be missed.Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Deirdre Carlino in New Hampshire and Lisa Garner of Charlestown, two sisters, Greta Moretti of Wakefield and Marcia Holly of Stonington, CT and three grandchildren.There will be a private memorial service to be announced later. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4676 and past Scout Master in Loreauville. He was a greeter at St. Joseph’s Church and participated in many community activities. PLATTSBURGH -- June Kathryn (LePage) Senecal, 70, of Military Turnpike died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.She was born in Grand Isle, Vt., on June 15, 1935, daughter of Francis "Frank" Joseph LePage and Mary Eva "Baker" LePage.June attended St. Peter's School and D'Youville Academy in Plattsburgh, and she earned her high school diploma at St. John's Academy. In 1954, June married Ralph Senecal Jr. of Treadwells Mill. June and Ralph celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 5, 2004, in the company of many family members and friends.June was involved in several church and civic activities. As a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mill, June participated in the Ladies Club, where she volunteered at harvest dinners, socials, youth-group activities and church council. She was also a long time member of Sweet Adelines. In the community, June worked with the Plattsburgh Youth Commission and she served on the Clinton County Democratic Committee, working the voting poles for many years. In later years, June volunteered weekly at the Salvation Army, where she was revered for her cooking and loved by all she served.June's greatest love in life was her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. June lovingly welcomed all who walked through her "always-opened" door. She loved to entertain, socialize and to "hang out" with the girls.June is survived by her husband, Ralph; two sons, Tim Senecal and his companion Donna Ashline and Randy Senecal and his wife Deborah; six daughters, Carroll Ann Bordeau and her companion Jim Van Weort, Holly Ann Scott and her husband Eric, Colleen Ann (Maggy) Bromsey and her husband Andy, Mary Ann Gregoire, Hope Ann Senecal and Tracey Ann Blauser and her husband Bob. June watches over 13 beautiful grandchildren, Timmy John and Tyler Senecal, Kelly Hooper and Lewis Phares, Marnie and Maggie Bordeau, Michaela, Emma and Samuel Scott, Michael Bromsey, Matthew, Adam and Abbygail Gregoire; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Rose Pardy and Gavin Matthew Senecal. She is also survived by four brothers, six sisters and respective spouses; and multiple nieces and nephews.June is predeceased by one son, Ralph (Feeper) Senecal III, who died in 1962; her parents, her sister, Susan (Susie LePage) Smith; along with several close family members.Calling hours will take place at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh on Thursday and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Treadwells Mill.Donations may be made to Salvation Army in Plattsburgh, in care of Capt. CHELMSFORD -- Jeffry Joseph Heroux, 27, of Chelmsford, a carpenter in town and a former standout high school football player, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 28, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Melissa (Merrill) Heroux, and they were married on Oct. 8.He was born in Lowell, Nov. 23, 1978, son of Robert Heroux of Nashua and JoAnne (Loiselle) Heroux of Chelmsford. He was raised in Chelmsford and graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1997. He attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell.Mr. Heroux was a carpenter for the Wojcik Development Co., in North Chelmsford. He was active in sports. He played baseball in the Chelmsford Little League, was co-captain of the Chelmsford High School varsity football team and played rugby at UMass Lowell.Mr. Heroux was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford.Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Amy Beth and Joseph Skenderian of Lincoln, and Debra Heroux of North Chelmsford; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Doris Loiselle of Chelmsford; his paternal grandparents, Francis and Muriel Heroux of North Chelmsford; his wife's parents, Ernest and Joanne Merrill of Wilmington; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Ernest Merrill Jr. and Angela Merrill and Christopher Merrill, all of Wilmington; a niece, Samantha Brooke Skenderian; two nephews, Joshua Joseph Skenderian and Alexander Merrill. LEO C. LaFORCE ESSEX JUNCTION — Leo Clair “Lefty“ LaForce passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, from complications due to Parkinson's Disease in Fletcher Allen Health Care with his loving family by his side. Leo was born in Burlington on June 8, 1926, the only child of Leo David and Glenna (Phillips) LaForce. He graduated from Burlington High School, Class of 1944. He worked at several jobs, starting at a very young age helping his parents in their restaurants. His mechanical interest and training led to jobs at Pet Boat Company and Point Bay Marina. He joined IBM in 1964, retiring in 1987 as a senior tool support specialist. As a young man, Lefty enjoyed hunting and fishing, and riding motorcycles, especially his Harley. He “discovered“ tennis in his early 40s, which became a passion of his for the next 30 years, both in Essex Junction and in St. Petersburg, Fla. He passed on his love of the game and his “strategies“ to three generations. During the winters in St. Petersburg, he also took up shuffleboard and billiards. His unique sense of humor will be missed by all. Lefty is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Shirly (Ames) LaForce; his children, Claire LaForce, Lonnie Edson, Eileen Metivier, Jeanne Knowlton and Leo P. and his wife, Denise LaForce. He was predeceased by his son, James, in January 1971, as a result of a car accident. “Pappy“ will be missed by his nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, Stephanie Smith and her children, Nicholas, Brianna and Jake; Erica and husband Robert Borthwick and their children, Hollianne and Devan; Marcy and her husband James Brigham and their children, Keely, Jaren, Alden and Violet; Elizabeth and Emily Metivier; Kyle Knowlton; Christopher, Maria and David LaForce. He is also survived by several cousins, in particular, Judson and his wife Kit Conner of Georgia and Mary Facteau of New York; and by many friends, including his tennis buddies, especially the “East Street Gang.“ Visiting hours will be held Friday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St. Essex Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 4 Prospect St., Essex Junction. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. WESTBROOK - Marguerite Mondor, 87, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005 at the Springbrook Health Care. She was born in Westbrook, a daughter of Berthelemi and Exilia Rondeau LaPointe. She was raised, educated and lived in Westbrook all of her life. She enjoyed traveling, fishing and walking. She was a communicant and volunteer at St. Hyacinth Church and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Holy Name Society. She is survived by a sister, Juliette Garneau of Portland; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. Sharon Ann LePage, 62 of Hagen Rd. died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 in her home after a long battle with cancer. Sharon was born Aug. 31, 1943 in Duluth to Clifford and Stella (Smelver) Lindberg. She was a graduate of Duluth Central High School and she married Louie LePage on Sept. 10, 1960. Sharon worked at Gateway Foods, now known as Flemming foods for 18 years and from 1997 to 2003 she worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Sharon was a member of French River Lutheran Church and the Normanna Garden Club. She loved the outdoors, especially spending time at the cabin. She loved to fish, take walks, garden and bake cookies. LOWELL -- Andrew E. "Andy" Marcouiller, a longtime Lowell resident, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 24, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. He was 80.He was born in Lowell, Sept.. 21, 1925, son of the late Arthur and Lydia (Charette) Marcouillier. He received his education in the Lowell school system.An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Marcouiller served as a private first class in the Army from 1948 to 1952 and received a Good Conduct Medal during his service in the Korean War.Before retiring in 1987, Mr. Marcouiller was employed as a roofer. Prior to entering the service, he was a gardener at Lowell General Hospital.He was an active participant of the Senior Citizen Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed gardening and walking.He is survived by two brothers, Joseph "Albert" Marcouillier of Dracut, and Roland Marcouillier of Bolivar, Md.; a sister, Irene LeClerc of Canton Center, Conn.; a brother in-law, Rudolph "Rudy" Paquette of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.He was also the brother of the late Maurice Marcouillier, Wilfred Marcouillier, Rita Hamel, Cecile Cormier, and Theresa (Cormier) Paquette. SPRINGVALE - Leo A. Thibodeau, 89, died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2005 at his home. He was born in St. Francis on Feb. 25, 1916, a son of Jean Baptiste and Marie (Boucher) Thibodeau. Leo attended school in St. Francis, Sanford and at St. Ignatius. He was employed at the former Universal Shoe Co. of Sanford, Allied Shoe of Springvale, and later retired from Dover Shoe Co. of Dover, N.H. Prior to enlisting in the Navy as a Seabee during World War II, he was employed at the former South Portland Shipyard. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church, a member of the Springvale Knights of Columbus and a former Grand Knight, as well a charter member of the V.F.W. First and foremost, Leo enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as hunting and fishing. He had summered at Silver Lake in Shapleigh since 1955. Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Mary (Giammarino) Thibodeau of Springvale; daughter, Sandra Valliere and her husband Robert of Sanford; a sister, Lillian Creedon of Sanford; two grandchildren, Kristin Story and her husband Pierce of Wells, and Jennifer Pomerleau and her husband Troy of North Berwick; and his three great-grandchildren Logan, Cameron and Riley Grace Pomerleau. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, in Notre Dame Church, Springvale. Burial will be at a later date. Fernande Geoffroy 90, formerly of 300 Privilege St. Woonsocket died Wednesday in the Holiday Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Emile Geoffroy. Mrs Geoffroy was born in Pawtucket a daughter of the late Cesaire and Blanche (Hogue) Tondreau. Mrs. Geoffroy worked for Woonsocket Dress for sixteen years before retiring in 1977. Ernest A. Beaudoin -- December 24, 1931 - November 28, 2005 -- DAYVILLE -Ernest A. Beaudoin, 73, of Railroad Ave. died at home surrounded by his family on Monday after a long illness. He was the husband of Theresa Mary (Edwards) Beaudoin, who survives him. They were married on November 27, 1952 at St. Joseph Church in Dayville by Fr. Lavallee. They were married for fiftythree years. Mr. Beaudoin was born in the Attawaugan section of Killingly on December 24, 1931, the son of the late Gideon and Albina (Bourque) Beaudoin. He attended St. Mary School in Putnam and Killingly schools. Upon completion of his education, he worked on local farms and also delivered oil. Mr. Beaudoin entered the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War from September 1950 to June 1952, having achieved the rank of Private First Class. He was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal (Germany). He also served in the Army National Guard of the U.S., the Army National Guard of Connecticut, and as a Reserve of the Army. Upon his honorable discharge, he became employed as a machinist and millhand at Rogers Corp. He worked there for fortythree years, retiring in 1994. He was involved in many volunteer activities throughout his life. He was a former Boy Scout Master. He and his wife played Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for area convalescent homes and for other social agencies. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of East Killingly, and a member of the Dayville Fire Police. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Dayville and was a charter member of the St. Joseph Church Knights of Columbus and a member of the 3rd Degree of that organization. Besides his wife, he leaves a son and a daughterinlaw, Gary and Kathleen Beaudoin of Dayville; a brother, Edward Beaudoin of Attawaugan; two sisters, Roseanna Lalumiere of South Killingly and Irene Murree of Attawaugan; three grandchildren, Kevin, James and Heather Beaudoin; three greatgrandchildren, Michael and Darren Horton, and Alyssa Beaudoin; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Albina Martel. Following cremation, there will be a Graveside Service on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Dayville with military honors to follow. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Beaudoin's memory to St. Joseph Church, P.O. Box 487, Dayville, CT 06241. THYBAULT, Kelly Jo (Yesmunt) 3/24/61 to 11/25/05 -- Born in Midland, Michigan on March 24, 1961, Kelly moved into the place prepared for her by the one she loved most, the Lord Jesus Christ on November 25, 2005. To the very end of a four-year battle with cancer, her life emitted a continual fragrance of grace and love. Her life passion was to glorify God as a wife, mother, daughter and friend. She clearly and tenderly demonstrated her life verse to all who knew her, Proverbs 14:1- "A wise woman builds her home..." Kelly's life significantly impacted everyone who knew her and many who only heard about the amazing woman she was. Her greatest legacy is left with her immediate family. She wed John on May 16, 1981 in Midland, MI. All four of her children share in the dynamic faith of their mother. Jessica, Emily, Grant and Lydia are living memorials of a woman whose actions spoke louder than her words. Kelly's surviving parents, Norman and Janet Yesmunt of Big Rapids held a treasured place in her heart along with siblings, Blake, Scott, Beth and Doug and their families. There will be no visitation. A private burial will take place at the Almena Township Cemetery. "A celebration of the life of Kelly Thybault" will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Calvary Bible Church beginning at 2 p.m., followed by a time of hospitality at West Kalamazoo Christian Church. Olive Mueller December 17, 1907 - November 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Olive Mae Mueller was born on Dec. 17, 1907 to Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Beare in Condie, Saskatchewan, the youngest member of a family of two brothers and two sisters. Her education took place in California and B.C. as well as Saskatchewan, as her family customarily traveled during the winter. In spite of this variety of systems, Mae never failed her exams and graduated with excellent records. She helped care for her ailing mother for several years while still at home on the family’s extensive wheat-growing holdings. Branching out, she worked in the fashion industry as buyer, manager and designer before moving to Ontario, where she lived with her sister Vera’s family and continued in the fashion industry. On returning to the West, to Calgary in the early 40’s, she worked briefly for Dun & Bradstreets before joining the writing staff at CFAC radio. Here she wrote, produced and brought to life her delightful real-life stories in her program, “Something Old, Something New” - sponsored by the Red and White Stores. Both her faithful listeners and her sponsors enjoyed and corresponded by `phone and letter to the lady they knew as “Molly”, who made them laugh on grey days. In 1947, Molly was voted “First Lady of Radio” for Alberta, and continued in that role until her marriage late in 1947 to Mr. Walter C. Mueller. Following her marriage, her active life included work with the I.O.D.E, as well as the Daughters of the Nile, the ladies branch of the Shriners – Walter Mueller’s long-time service club. She was also Vice President of her husband’s steel business, fulfilling an important role in the area of business relations both here and in the East. Following her husband’s death in 1989, Molly moved to The Estate and continued a social life on a more modified scale. She is survived by one niece, Pat Ritchie of Olds and one nephew and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Richard O. Beare of Sequim, Wa, USA, plus several close friends who made her later years comfortable and enjoyable. Memorial Service will be held at Leyden’s Funeral Home, 304-18th Ave. SW (corner of 17th Ave. & 2nd Street SW) on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Victor Kim officiating. Inurnment to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
