Robert Chesley Dunfield Robert Chesley Dunfield, age 89, of the Jordan Life Care Centre, formerly of Anagance, passed away, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at his residence. Born April 17, 1916 in Anagance, he was a son of the late Harry and Frances (Bicknell) Dunfield. He was postmaster at Anagance for 30 years, a member of the United Church, elder and secretary treasurer of the Anagance United Church, treasurer of the Anagance Cemetery Association, a member of the Anagance Senior Citizens, and a member of the Kodiac Kats. He served six years in the Provost Corp in Canada and overseas and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 41. He is survived by a daughter, Margery Prosser (Gerald Alward) of Havelock; sons, Harry (Bethany) of Petitcodiac, Kent (Susan) of Dartmouth; sister, Ella Harper (Clarence) of Anagance; brothers, Donald (Kathleen) of Riverview, Everett (Elsie) of Anagance; grandchildren, Kelly, Dawn, Lesley, Julie, Charlotte, Michael, Bobby; great grandchildren, Claire, Alyson, Madison; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Chesley in June 1949; his wife, Ella (Bustin) in August, 2005. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A memorial service will be held by the Royal Canadian Legion at the funeral home, Friday at 6:45pm. The funeral service will be held from St. James United Church, located at corner of Price and Church Streets, Petitcodiac on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. C. Youland officiating. HARMON, DORIS MARGARET - Unexpectedly, at the Charlotte County Regional Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on October 24, 2005, Mrs. Doris Margaret (Henry) Harmon, 81, of Bocabec, NB, wife of the late Henry Taylor Harmon. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her mother, Margaret Frances (Till) Henry of Fredericton; three sons, Raymond Coughlan (Sandra) of Fredericton, Don Giberson (Debbie) of Oakville, ON, and Paul (Rhona) Harmon of Bocabec; two daughters, Pauline (Allan) Stewart of Bethel and Nancy (Edward) Thorne of Bocabec; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, including special great-grandson, Logan; four brothers, Donald Henry (Rita), Manfred (Eva) Henry, Gary (Lilla) Henry, all of Ontario, and Glen (Ruby) Henry of Fredericton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Doris was predeceased by one sister, Alice Haus. Doris was a vibrant woman who enjoyed life and babysitting her grandchildren whom she lovingly adored. She found pleasure in taking drives and her summer time trips to PEI. On Friday evening from 7-9 pm, the family will receive friends and relatives at St. Marks Anglican Church, St. George, from where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 2 pm, with Rev. Wayne Matheson and Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating, followed by interment in the Church of the Transfiguration Cemetery in Bethel. In Doris' memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, Charlotte County Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Society, or a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family. WIEMER, Hans Georg Wilhelm In loving memory of Hans Georg Wilhelm Wiemer, 74 years. Loving and caring husband of 51 years of Margaret Jean (Simcox). Super dad of Jeff, wife Karen of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Jim, wife Cheryl of Rochester, N.Y. and Grant, wife Judy of Sudbury. Special Grandpa of Matthew, Michael, Jake, Danielle, Breyanna, Dylan, Alex and James. Son of the late Irmgard and Hans F. Wiemer. Brother of Christel Fuerniss (Kurt), Waltraud Jensen (Dave), Rupredt (Vickie), and Wilfred (Lynda) and many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Hans is also survived by an uncle, several aunts and cousins in Germany and Austria. Hans was a long time employee of Pioneer Construction. Over the years he was a Boy Scout leader and volunteered at Don Lita Playground. His love of hunting, fishing and conservation led him to participate in O.F.A.H. Former member of the Sudbury Game & Fish Protective Association and Copper Cliff Rod & Gun Club. Zone Chairman, Board of Directors of O.F.A.H. and the Ontario Fish Committee. Retirement allowed him to volunteer at the Cancer Centre and to become a carver at the Older Adult Centre where he enjoyed honing his skills of his feathered friends. Travelling to his sons and grandchildren's school and sporting events kept him young at heart. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's United Church, 203 York St., on Saturday, October 29th, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Interment at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Darell D. Blanchard Jr. 42, formerly of Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket died October 13, 2005 in Bronx, NY. He was born in Woonsocket, the son of Shirley A. (Gosselin) Blanchard of Woonsocket, and Darell D. Blanchard Sr. of Wakefield. He was a resident of Woonsocket most of his life. He was a Screen Printer for many years for the Slater Screen Co. before moving to New York to work as a house manager for Project Renewal. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister Linda Belanger of Woonsocket. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 from the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 in All Saint’s Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Leo T. Beaudoin, 45, Port Orange, formerly of Barkhamsted, Conn., died Thursday at the Hospice Center of Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange after a long illness. Born December 25, 1959, in Roxbury, Mass., a son of Normand Beaudoin of Crescent City and the late Anita (Collins) Beaudoin. He had lived in Florida for the past 10 years. Prior to his illness, he had been a radio man in the Navy and had worked for the Torrington Co., Torrington, Conn. He was a 1978 graduate of Regional High School #7, Barkhamsted, and a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Winsted, Conn. In addition to his father, survivors include a brother, James Beaudoin, Bristol, Conn.; two sisters, Roberta Lamb, Langhorn, Pa., and Barbara Beaudoin, Port Orange; and five nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the Maloney Funeral Home, 55 Walnut St., to St. Joseph Church for the funeral liturgy at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph new Cemetery. CHAGNON - Joseph Chagnon passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at the Bert Fish Hospital in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Mr. Chagnon was 76 years of age. Born in Newark, he resided in East Brunswick before moving to Little Egg Harbor five months ago. He was a retired school administrator. Mr. Chagnon graduate from St. Benedict's Prep in Newark and from Kean College in Union. He received a masters degree at Seton Hall University and also at Columbia University in New York. He was a chairman at the Sewage Authority in East Brunswick, served on the Library Board, the Museum Board, the Credit Union of the Newark Board of Education and on C.A.S.A. Mr. Chagnon was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in South River. He was predeceased by his daughter, Elaine Chagnon Coughlan, who died in 1988, and his son, John K. Chagnon, who died in 1994. Surviving are his wife, Placidia (Rodriguez) Chagnon, three sons, Joseph Chagnon and his wife, Patricia, David Chagnon and Raymond Chagnon and his wife, Patricia, his 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 8:30 a.m. from The REZEM FUNERAL HOME, 457 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Corpus Christi Church in South River. Simone (Guay) O'Bright, 88, beloved wife of the late Adolph "Ed" O'Bright for 57 years, passed away Wednesday, (October 26, 2005) surrounded by her loving family at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Simone was born September 15, 1917 in New Bedford, MA. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rosanna (Tetreault) Guay, attended local schools and moved to Manchester in 1942. She was employed for 15 years as a Department Manager for the former W.T. Grants in Manchester. Mrs. O'Bright was a Charter member and communicant of St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Simone is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Frank Czaplicki of Manchester, her two sons and daughters-in-law Ronald and Diane Cote of Manchester and Norman and Diana Cote of East Hartford, eight grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Wendy, Michael, Ronald, Chris, Denise and Jennifer and eight great grandchildren. CALEDONIA - Timothy Joel 'Timmy' Demarest, 14, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with lifelong health issues on Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa. He was a lifelong resident of Caledonia, born on January 16, 1991, to Scott and Cynthia (nee: Carlson) Demarest. Timmy had a joyful spirit and was a treasured gift from God. Timmy is survived by his parents; a brother, Drew Demarest; grandparents, Gilbert Demarest of North Carolina and Wilma 'Willie' Demarest of Connecticut; and two aunts, Wendy Demarest of Texas and Cheryl (Ben) Piecora of Connecticut. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Aleutians as a Navy Seabee. He graduated from Ohio State University. He owned Aries Insurance Agency and Aries Management Co., and was a partner with Teamwork Fundraiser Co. Mr. Trudeau was the former president of Gypsies Travel Club, a longtime volunteer at Twin Valley Psychiatric Hospital, a leader with the Boy Scouts of America and a Campfire USA board member. Survivors include his widow; five sons, Michael and his wife, Linda, Greg and his wife, Jeanne, Phillip and his wife, Denise, James and his partner, Gene Bible, and Charles and his wife, Michelle; three daughters, Marie, Martha Donahue and her husband, Hugh, and Laura Weinbrom and her husband, Eric; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends. He was the father of the late Delores Trudeau, and the brother of the late Rene Trudeau, Bernard Trudeau and Paul Trudeau.
