Addie M. (MacPherson)MacKay Mrs. Addie Mable (MacPherson) MacKay, of Reid Street, Moncton, formerly of Chatham, NB passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005, at the Dr, Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, at the age of 70. Born in Boom Road, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Cain MacPherson. She was a foster parent, member of friendly neighbors senior citizens club. She attended United Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Noel, Tina MacKay (Grant), Carol MacKay all of Moncton; two sons, Brain MacKay (Gisele), Malcolm MacKay both of Moncton; one brother, James MacPherson of Saint John, NB; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Besides her mother she was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred (Jack) MacKay. Mrs. Addie (MacPherson) MacKay is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Highway, Miramichi with visitation on Friday evening from 7 to 9pm and Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2005 at 3 pm from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Cecil Simms officiating. Burial will follow in Rierside Cemetery. MURPHY, JAMES A. S. (JIM) - The death of James Murphy of Saint John, NB, husband of Sarah "Sally" (Scott) Murphy, occurred on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home in his 94th year. Born in Bass River, NB, a son of the late John and Mary (Starrak) Murphy, Jim was employed with Imperial Oil for 41 years. He was an avid curler and sportsman, having won four N.B. Provincial Senior Men's Curling Championships and the Canadian Senior Men's Curling Championship in 1967. Jim was a member of the provincial and Saint John Sports Hall of Fame and an honorary member of the Thistle Saint Andrew's Curling Club. He served as president of the N.B. Curling Association as well as the Thistle Curling Club and was past-president of the Saint John Chamber of Commerce. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Judith (Bill) Purdom of Ottawa, ON; one sister, Emma (Claude) Fewer of Moncton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine (Herd) Murphy; five brothers: George B., Yorke, Scott, Morrin and Alton; and two sisters, Cora Feron and Rosaline Pollock. Jim was an adherent of St. Mark's United Church. NEWELL, DAVID "TODD" - Seeley's Cove, NB August 27, 1967 - August 24, 2005. My soul mate was a free spirit whose compassion and roaring laughter was contagious to all around him. He lived life his own way, and was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in. Family, friends and Harley Davidsons were the passions in Todd's life. Determination, inner strength, as well as extraordinary physical strength, provided him with the necessary ambition required to be a hard working man. Todd's incredible love of the ocean was a legacy passed on from his beloved Grampie Holland. Until we meet you on the other side, my sunshine, we will all be mourning for you here on earth. Kendall I. Scott Kendall I. Scott, 52, of Moncton passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, August 25, 2005. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Jean (Milton) Scott of Moncton and the late Robert Scott. Kendall was North America Sales Manager for CIBA. Kendall was a very gifted and sports oriented gentleman who enjoyed sailing, golfing, salmon fishing, and was an avid squash player. He enjoyed life and spending time with his friends, with good food and wine. Kendall was a wonderful father and husband to his two daughters and his wife. He was a former member of the Mount Allison Mounties Football team, former member of the Poley Mountain Ski Patrol and was one of the first wind surfers at Parlee Beach. Besides his mother, he will be sadly missed by his wife, Jocelyne Maurice; daughters, Emelie and Nathalie at home; half-sister, Joyce Mann, Toronto, ON; half-brother, Hugh Scott (Marie), Moncton. Sheila Doreen Franklin March 16, 1944 - August 21, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre With mixed emotions, the family of Sheila Franklin announces her sudden passing on August 21, 2005. The sadness of our loss is tempered by the knowledge her suffering has ended. Sheila was a wonderful woman, kind to all, a generous spirit, accepting and fun loving with an enduring sense of humor. Sheila leaves behind her husband Jim, children Maria and Russell (Donna) and grandchildren (Samatha, Alexi and Marissa). She is survived by brother-in-laws Michael (Val), Terry (Elaine), Paul (Angie), Jeffery (Sylvia), Janice (Dave), Rachel and numerous cousins and so many friends. Shelia was predeceased by her parents Bill and Jesse Eyre, sister-in-laws Chrisie and Suzie Franklin. Born in 1944 in England, Sheila married Jim and moved to Thunder Bay. Over the years they traveled throughout the world gathering memories and memorabilia which they scattered lovingly throughout their home. Jim was always at her side through the last ten years of battling cancer. Sheila enjoyed the creativity with which she was blessed. Her creativity with home crafts, cake decorating and flower arrangements found its way to special family and friend events and to all corners of their homes. Her dinner parties and gatherings were events enjoyed and will always be remembered by all. Family and friends were very dear to her, a birthday, anniversary or wedding were never forgotten. Sheila wintered in Fort Myers, Florida with her loving husband Jim. There she could spend time with her two precious granddaughters Samatha and Alexi who brought “light and sunshine” during the times she struggled with cancer. Indeed Sheila’s grandchildren were the light of her life and to them she was Nanna. Funeral services for Mrs. Franklin will be held in Trinity United Church (Algoma Street S.) on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Margaret "Peggy" Ann Krupka Margaret Ann Krupka, loving wife of the late Allen Krupka passed away tragically on Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kimberley Krupka, Kevin Krupka, Lisa Haji Abbasi (Tahir) and their children Tara & Sirvan, Debbie (Brian) Cook and their children: Nickolas and Joshua. Margaret will also be sadly missed by her brothers: Don (Marguerite) Koski, Norman (Diane) Koski, Doug Koski and Vincent Koski and their families. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband Allen in April 2000 and by her parents Stanley and Alice Koski. Margaret was born in Winnipeg on February 10, 1940. She and Allen were married in June 1962 and made their home in Winnipeg where they raised their family. Her children and grandchildren were her life. They will always remember the daily gatherings at Lisa’s home and their weekly visits to their favourite restaurants. Margaret also gave freely of her time as a volunteer for 13 years at the gift shop at the Health Sciences Centre. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all those who rushed to their mothers aid. Peter Rapinda June 10, 1910 - August 19, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Mr. Peter Rapinda, age 95 years, passed away on Friday evening, August 19th, 2005, at T.B.R.H.S.C., Thunder Bay. Born June 10th, 1910 in the Ukraine to the late Daniel and Jawdocha Rapinda. In 1913 Peter immigrated to Canada with his family, destined to Kenora, Ontario looking for a better life. Educated in Fort William, Peter spent over 60 years in the Kenora area. On May 29th, 1934 Peter was united in marriage to Maria Diakun at Fort William, Ontario. Together they raised two sons Bill and Roy. Following Mary’s passing in 1983 Thunder Bay became his permanent home. He remarried on June 9th, 1990 to Blonda Chambers. Peter found a loving companion to be by his side. Peter was active as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since September 12th, 1953. Peter was the second of four generations of railroaders. He dedicated 52 years service to Canadian Pacific Railway. He began his career in 1922 holding numerous positions. Upon retiring in 1974 he received a Gold Pass for over 50 years service. Over the years he also enjoyed traveling across Canada. He is survived by his wife Blonda, son Roy (Isabel), daughter in law Beatrice (Gordon), niece Anne (Ernie and Susan) Wade, nephews John (Joyce) Makahanik, Paul Makahanik of Winnipeg, MN, grandchildren Wade (Betsy), Peter, Peggy Sue (Pat) Stilla, all of Thunder Bay, Wayne of Vancouver, BC, Wesley (Rhonda) of Kenora and 11 great grandchildren; Anne Marie, Bradley, Danny, Ryan, James, Eric, Austin, Jacqueline, Stephen, Andrea and Michael. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Ann Makahanik, Nick Rapinda, Agnes Soucey and son Bill Rapinda. Peter showed great love for his family and friends. We are all blessed to have had him in our lives for so long. Louis Dupuis January 20, 1932 - August 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Fair Haven Funeral Home Louis Dupuis, 73, passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, August 26th 2005 following a brief illness. Born in Scoudouc on January 20th 1932, he was the son of the late Alfred and Roseanna (LeBlanc) Dupuis. He is survived by his sister Florence Melanson and his niece Juliette LeBlanc both of Scoudouc, a brother Adelin Dupuis (Isabelle) of Hamilton, ON. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by five brothers; Adrien 1931, Aldei 1945, Freddie 1989, Elie 1999, and Eloie 2003, three sisters; Bernadette 1986, Therisse 1998, and Anita 1990. Farming was Louis’ livelihood, he was a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and loved walking. In keeping with Louis’ wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the funeral mass to be celebrated from Parroise Saint Jacques- Le Majeur, Scoudouc on Tuesday, August 30th at 10:00 AM. Kenneth Preston Jamieson August 21, 1919 - August 23, 2005 BATHURST, NB - Kenneth Preston Jamieson, 86, of Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, he was the second son of the late Peter and Sophia (Jennings) Jamieson. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gertrude Anna (Hamilton) Jamieson, his wife of 60 years; three children, Wesley (Debbie) of Davidson, Australia, Ralph of Edmonton, AB, Beverley of Toronto, ON; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Joel and Spencer of Australia; one brother, Thomas Jamieson of Bathurst; two sisters, Frances MacIntosh of Fredericton, Eleanor MacIntosh of Moncton; Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Everett and Cameron; and one sister, Dorothy Scott (Thomas). Ken served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Air Force both in Canada and overseas. SABATTUS - Rita Phelan, 87, a longtime resident of Main Street, died at her home Thursday morning, Aug. 25.Born in Lewiston, Dec. 21, 1917, she was the daughter of Atlanta and Marie Vachon.During her childhood years, her family moved several times, living in Connecticut, Quebec and other places before settling in Sabattus. She went to 17 different schools and graduated as valedictorian of Sabattus High School Class of 1936. While attending Sabattus High, she met Wallace Phelan, and they married on Nov. 25, 1935.The couple had a daughter, Rochelle, and two sons, Mickey and Peter. While the children were growing up, she worked in various mills, but she primarily was a homemaker. The family home was a busy place, with visitors frequently dropping in. After her husband had a stroke in 1973, she dedicated herself to his care. She selflessly took care of him until his death in 2001.She enjoyed books, sewing, walking in the woods, gardening, flowers and going to her land in Byron or any other place outdoors. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, entertaining them with food and stories of her past. She had an active interest in her town. She always seemed to know what was going on in Sabattus.She was a member of the Sabattus Senior Citizens and Our Lady of the Rosary Ladies Auxiliary. For many years, she bowled and played cards weekly.Survivors include a daughter, Rochelle and her husband, Paul, of Litchfield; a son, Peter and his wife, Renee, of North Monmouth; a daughter-in-law, Diane, of Livermore; seven grandchildren, Anthony LeBel, Andrew LeBel, Vickie Labbe, Thomas Phelan, Jeffrey Phelan, Nicole Phelan and Jackson Phelan; nine great-grandchildren, Bobby, Riley, Brooke and Erin LeBel, Garrett and Megan Labbe, and Constance, Hunter and Brandt Phelan; and two sisters, Christine Dumais of Turner and Mary D'Amour of Sabattus.She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace; a son, Michael, and a daughter-in-law, Constance Phelan; a sister, Marcia Moulin; and a brother, Leon Vachon.

WILLIAMS, James Howard - Passed away peacefully at North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site on August 24, 2005. Beloved husband of 65 years of the late Eunice Somers. He was in his 92nd year. Loving father of Billie-Marie Yakachuk and her husband Edward of Trenton and Inez Torrance and her husband Bruce of Red Deer, Alberta. Also predeceased by his son, Grant. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Christine Yakachuk, Daryl Torrance, Heather Swanson and David Torrance and by five great-grandchildren. James was also predeceased by his sisters Helen Landriault and Shirley Whitall. Fondly remembered by niece Carol White and husband John, by the Croghan Family and many other relatives and friends. Born in Toronto in 1913, Jim trained as a teacher, worked in insurance but found his place with the C.P.R. He retired after 35 years as a conductor. He served 12 continuous years as President of the United Transportation Union, Local 458 and also the local Labour Council. Jim was founding member of the NDP. He was a member of the North Bay Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #617 and the Rorab Shrine Club. HANCOCK -- Ronald H. "Cooch" Couture, 66, of 76 Birch Grove Road, died at home on Thursday after a battle with renal cell carcinoma. Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 13, 1938, son of Henry F. and Emma F. Briere Couture, he was a graduate of the former Notre Dame elementary school and a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph's Central High School. Upon graduation from high school, he served in the Air Force in South Dakota, Japan and Florida. After leaving active service, he was a member of the 439th Airlift Wing, Westover Air Force Base, where he served as a senior loadmaster on C-123 aircraft missions all over the world. Mr. Couture worked at General Electric Co. in transmission programs as a steel fabricator, welder and senior inspector during a career that spanned more than 28 years. For 13 of those years, he was assigned to the tank shop working on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. He retired in October 1994. A self-taught musician, he fronted a band called the Lamp-Lighters, which played regularly at the Italian American Club and at the Dalton VFW, among other venues. He played guitar and keyboard. He achieved his longtime dream to fly when he obtained his private pilot's license and flew solo in 1988. Mr. Couture was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church in Pittsfield, where he attended Mass for more than 60 years. He more recently attended Immaculate Conception Church in New Lebanon, N.Y. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' clubs, and a former member of the musicians' union in Pittsfield. He enjoyed skiing and traveling. He also enjoyed home remodeling, working around his yard and riding his motorcycle. He leaves his wife, the former Rosemary T. Ennis, whom he married in Pittsfield on Sept. 15, 1961. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Air Force Lt. Col. Thomas J. Couture of Great Falls, Mont.; three daughters, Deborah J. Hutton of Hancock, Claudine D. Morrison of Pittsfield and Tracey L. Mosegard of Peru, two grandsons and five granddaughters.

CHICOPEE - Lionel "Len" J. Girouard, 82, of Chicopee, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at the UMass Memorial Healthcare Center in Worcester. Born September 7, 1922, the son of the late Elphege and Emma (Lemoine) Girouard, he lived most of his life in Chicopee and for a while in Farmington, CT. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School. A Navy veteran of World War II he fought in the European-North Atlantic Theatre of War. He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received serving aboard the USS LST 314 which was sunk during the D-Day Invasion at Omaha Beach. Lionel was retired 25 year quality control manager for General Dynamics Corporation's Electric Boat Division in Groton, CT. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Springfield, a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus; and a member of the Non-Destructive Testing Society. Lionel is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, M. Theresa "Tessie" (Choquette) Girouard; his loving son, Robert D. Girouard, of Albany, NY; his loving daughter, Lisa A. Bessette and her husband Joel, of Chicopee; and his loving grandson, Jason VanSchelt, of Chicopee. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Aldeo Girouard and Harvey Girouard, and a sister, Irene Fiebig. Edward J. Labarre, 70, of Goffstown, died suddenly August 25, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center.He was born in Manchester on February 28, 1935, the son of the late Hodore and Glarvina (Thouin) Labarre and had been a lifelong resident of the Manchester and Goffstown Communities. He worked for Genest Bakery for 24 years and Summit Packing fro 17 years. Edward was an usher and a greeter at the Parish of Transfiguration, formerly St. Jean Baptist Church, for 20 years. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council 5163. He served in the National Guard. Mr. Labarre was an avid crossword puzzle solver and enjoyed reading and cooking. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. CONCORD — Florence Catherine Parent, 87, died peacefully Aug. 25, 2005, at the Concord (NH) Hospice House after a period of declining health. For the past five years, she had resided at the Presidential Oaks nursing home in Concord. She formerly was a long term resident of South Berwick, Maine, and from 1991 until 1998, she wintered in Zephyr Hills, Fla.She was born in Dorchester, Mass., Dec. 5, 1917, the daughter of John and Harriet (Davis) Donahue. Her father was an officer in the U.S. Navy and as a child she traveled with her family to a number of her father's assignments, including the Panama Canal Zone and Washington, D.C.She married Donat J. Parent of South Berwick on Sept. 12, 1941, in Dover, N.H. He died in 1984. Her eldest son, Michael J. Parent, also predeceased her in 1985; and her sister, Harriet Blackmore, died in 1997.She worked as a nurse for more than 50 years and took great pride in her profession. During her career, she developed a well-earned reputation for exemplary nursing skills, combined with personal dedication and compassionate care for her patients. Her services were in great demand by doctors and families of patients requiring long-term, private duty home care. She also, with her husband, began and operated two small businesses in the South Berwick area in the 1960's, Flo's Taxi in South Berwick, and the M&L Café in Rollinsford, N.H.She leaves four children, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Harper of Dover, and her daughter, Katherine; daughter, Mary Weston and son-in-law, Robert Weston, of Windham, Maine, and their daughter, Robin, of Lexington, Mass., daughter, Kathleen Palin and son-in-law, Ted Palin, of Quincy, Fla., and their son, Theodore; and her son, John Parent and daughter-in-law, Barbara Parent, and their children, Patrick, Christina and Haley of Loudon, N.H. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jane Parent of Wilmington, N.C., and grandsons, Michael Parent of Moorpark, Calif., Timothy Parent of Wilmington, and James Parent of Enfield, Conn. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Braden Parent of Wilmington, and Olivia Parent of Moorpark.There will be no calling hours. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery on Agamenticus Road in South Berwick at 11 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 27. Suzanne Bourgeois "Sue" Morton, 70, of Andover, MA. died August 25th at Prescott House in North Andover. Born in Lowell, MA. the daughter of the late Homer W. Bourgeois and Juliette Marin Bourgeois. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, class of "1952". Suzanne then attended and graduated from Manhattanville College where she received her BA degree in 1956. Mrs. Morton was an attendant of Saint Augustines Church of Andover, and was involved in their CCD program. She was head of the Lawrence General Hospital Aid Association, a member of North Andover Country Club, and in Andover a member of the Lanam Club. Survivors include her husband of 47 years Vincent P. Morton, Jr. Five children Vincent P. Morton III and his wife Betsy, Judith M. Bramhall married to Everett, Peter H. Morton and his wife Tory, Allan F. Morton, married to Claudia, and Jeffrey T. Albert J. Tremblay Sr., 68, of Manchester died August 24, 2005 as a result of injuries sustained from a fall at his residence. Born in Manchester on May 7, 1937, he was the son of Alphonse and Elodie (Boutin) Tremblay. He was a graduate of Central High School and attended St. Anselm College. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He served as a pilot in the US Air Force from 1957 to 1960. Mr. Tremblay was the director of the New Hampshire Food Bank of New Hampshire Catholic Charities for 15 years. He had also worked at Auclair Transportation for 22 years. He served as a board member for the Manchester Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau and as chairman for the Manchester Police Department Crimeline. He also was a board member of the Kid’s Café and volunteered as an umpire at East Little League. He enjoyed woodcarving, music, dogs, photography and traveling. The family includes his wife of 43 years, Barbara A. (Pariseau) Tremblay of Manchester; three sons, Rev. Albert J. Tremblay Jr. of Belmont, Brian H. Tremblay of Gilmanton and Jeffrey A. Tremblay of Harbor City, CA; two sisters, Pauline Bourke of Florida and Doris Chaykowski of Manchester; two brothers, Arthur Tremblay of Florida and Armand Tremblay of Tilton; several nieces and nephews. TREMBLEY, Bruce A. - Of Grand Blanc, age 92, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Riverbend Post Acute Continued Care. Bruce was employed by General Motors, Buick Motor Division for 40 years. He was a 70 year member of Court Street United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodcarving, golf and lawn bowling. He was awarded the Silver Beaver by Tall Pine Council of Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Trembley was a life member of Community Players, member of Men's Club, Buick Motor Retirees Club; a loyal member of the GM Retiree Club of Arizona, member of the Heritage Museum and Grand Blanc Senior Citizens Center. Surviving are wife, Eleanor (Ellie); 3 children, Sue and husband Jim Smeets of Sun City West, Arizona, Ned and wife Sharon Trembley of Sun City, Arizona, Hal and wife Judy Trembley of Onekama, Michigan; step-daughter, Victoria Pepitone of Flint; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 21 step-great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Kathy (Morgan)and husband Randy Belinsky of Byron. SPENCER— Norman J. Messier,84, of Howe Village, died Thursday, Aug. 25 at the St. Francis Home in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Lucille J. (Morin) Messier, a son, David H. and his wife, Chris Messier of No. Brookfield, a daughter, Dianne M. Harper and her husband, Neal Campbell of Sturbridge, a brother, Emile Messier of Spencer; five grandchildren: Lori Furtado, Jay Harper, Christian Harper, Jake Messier and Caleb Messier; 7 great grandchildren: Matthew and Jeffrey Furtado, Megan, Nick, and Jared Harper, Indiana and Haley Messier; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers: Edgar, Roland and Robert Messier and a sister, Claire Audette. Mr. Messier was a machinist for 30 years at Reed, Rolled Thread & Die Co. in Holden, before retiring in 1985. He was a torpedo man with the U.S. Navy, on an aircraft carrier during WWII. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and A.A.R.P. He was a longtime coach for the Spencer/E. Brookfield Little League many years ago. Born in Spencer, he was the son of Joseph and Eva (Duval) Messier and lived here all of his life. The funeral will be held Monday, Aug. 29 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 60 Maple St., Spencer. Margaret Joyce Reed August 05, 1914 - August 23, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Regina Funeral Home REED - Margaret Joyce – passed away August 23, 2005 in Regina at the age of 91 years. Born in England, Margaret moved as an infant to Saskatoon. Her early education was centered on the piano at which she excelled achieving the Licentiate and Fellowship Trinity College, London. She began teaching piano and music theory while still in her teen years and continued for more than 60 years reaching an estimated eight hundred students. In 1943 she married Leslie Reed, an RAF serviceman stationed in North Battleford and Moose Jaw, and moved to England during the war. In 1953 the family returned to Canada living first in Kindersley before moving to Regina, her home for the past 49 years. Throughout her life, her main interests were family and friends, the welfare of animals, and music. Margaret and Leslie loved performing their piano duets together. She was a long-time member of the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers Association and taught at the University of Regina Conservatory of Performing Arts. Margaret was predeceased by her husband in 1995 after celebrating 52 years of marriage. She is survived by her son Gregory (Lesley) and grandchildren Edward and Helen and great-granddaughter Lindsay; daughter Hilary (Gary) and her children Jennifer, Amelia, and Timothy; two surviving sisters: Joan Browne of Saskatoon and Kathleen Entwisle of New York. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Savoir Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial in the church cemetery.She is survived by three sons, Werlin "Butch" Chiasson Jr., Louis Chiasson and Sampson "Sam" Chiasson; two daughters, Lynn Verdin and Susan Matherne; four brothers, Eddie Triche Jr., O’Neal Triche, Shelton Triche and Weldon Triche; two sisters, Rosalie Falterman and Elaine Gaude; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Werlin "Bay" Chiasson Sr.; her parents, Eddie Triche Sr. and Mabel Naquin Triche; one brother, Warren Triche; and one sister, Marie Louise Griffin.She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.

Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 27 août 2005 à 10 h à l’église St-Dominique. Les cendres seront déposées au columbarium St-Dominique. Elle était la fille de feu Mme Marie-Ange Dallaire et de feu M. Pierre Mailloux. Outre son époux M. PROULX MARTIN, Aurore-Marie-Louise (Martin) Proulx du 540 rue Adolphus, Cornwall, est décédée à l'hôpital communautaire de Cornwall, pavillon McConnell, le lundi 22 août 2005, à l'âge de 94 ans. Épouse bien-aimée de feu Charles Proulx, elle était la chère mère de Gérald (Gerry) Proulx (Noëlla) et de Claude Proulx, tous deux de Gatineau, Québec et Pauline Emond de Buffalo, New York. Prédécédée par un fils, Rhéal Proulx, elle était la chère fille de feu Sylvinie Martin et de feu Marie Louise Bergeron et chère soeur de Jeanne Delorme de Cornwall. Également prédécédée par six frères: John, Roland, Joseph, Sam, Wilfrid et Georges Martin; lui survivent 9 petits-enfants et 12 arrière-petits-enfants. Elle reposera au SALON FUNÉRAIRE LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL, 614 Première rue Est, Cornwall (1-613-933-2841), dimanche à compter de 14h. Le service religieux aura lieu le lundi 29 août 2005 en la cocathédrale de la Nativité de Cornwall à 11h, suivi de l'incinération. La famille sera présente dimanche de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 22h, ainsi que lundi à compter de 9h jusqu'au départ pour le service religieux. TIMMONS, Kevin Gerald Sr. Passed away peacefully on August 24, 2005 at the age of seventy-nine years. Beloved husband for fifty-eight years of Mary Ellen O'Connell. Loving father of Brian, Neil, Glenn (Juanita), Holly Rogers (Paul), Kevin (Mary), and Dennis (Laura). Cherished grandfather of David, Heather, Tanya, Melissa, Meghan, Jesse, Serena and Samantha. Caring brother of Sheila, the late Pat, Danny, Brendan, Kathleen, and Terry and brother-in-law of Gerry and Mickey O'Connell. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
