Born in Ripples NB, only child of the late Lois Martin. Carolyn lived most of her adult life in Fredericton and has spent the last three years in Quispamsis. She was an avid Elvis Fan and loving mother of her daughters; Pam and her husband Steven Webb of Lakeside and Cindy and her husband Jim VanWart of Quispamsis, devoted Grammy of; Raven, Devin and Brianna and one great grandson Corvis. Also surviving are family members in the Ripples area. Predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Richard Wilson. ROBINSON, Brian 1947-2005 Peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma on Saturday, February 5, 2005, with his beloved wife Donna (Rowan) and his family by his side, Brian joined his parents the late Les and Isobel Robinson. Brian was the cherished father of Jason (Crystal), Christopher (Erin) and Celia. Beloved brother of Carol (Harvey Robb), Larry (Jeannette), Linda (John Wilson) and Morris (Moe) (Ann). ALLAIRE, NORMAND H., 79, of Tarpon Springs, died Thursday (Feb. 3, 2005) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He was born in Woonsocket, R.I., and came here in 1993 from Cumberland, R.I. He owned several apartment complexes, commercial real estate buildings and business in Cumberland. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, Tarpon Springs. He enjoyed golfing, exercising and collecting coins and stamps. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Joan; two daughters, Andree Allaire, North Smithfield, R.I., and Genevieve Johnson-Allaire, Providence, R.I.; three sons, John C., New Port Richey, Normand E., Sharon, Mass., Richard G., Warwick, R.I.; two brothers, Pierre, Jacksonville, and John "Paul," North Smithfield; two sisters, Mildred Gremard, New Port Richey, and Suzanne Allaire, Woonsocket; and 13 grandchildren. Jeanne Marie Bourque, age 70 of Post Road, Wells, Maine, died on Friday, February 4, 2005, at St. Andre's Health Care Center in Biddeford. She was born in Trumbull, on May 4, 1934, a daughter of Harry and Helen Gammon Anderson. Jeanne worked as a cashier most of her life and had worked at WT Grants and Ligett's Drug Store. She served as president of the Women's Auxillary of the North End Little League in Connecticut, and was a member of the P.T.A. at Notre Dame High School in Fairfield. She married John K. Bourque on November 24, 1956. After moving to Wells, she became a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Wells and was a former communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Bridgeport. Jeanne was known as a great cook and was a very proud mother of their son, Michael, who serves as a commander with the U.S. Navy. She was predeceased by a brother, Swede Anderson. Surviving are her husband of Wells, her son, Cdr. Michael Bourque of Topsham, Maine; a brother, Charles Anderson of Oxford; two sisters, Barbara Bourque of Stratford, and Shirley Newton of Milford; and one grandchild. Marie Louise Aycock Champagne, 90, a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, died at 4:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2005. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the cathedral, with burial in St. Eloi Cemetery. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Aycock Zappa of Houma, her caregiver, Tammy Johnston of Houma; one nephew, Bobby Aycock and wife, Vickie of Bayou Dularge; one niece, Sarah Walker and husband, Jake of Houma; one grand nephew and a host of grand nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Paul Champagne; her parents, Gaston P. Aycock Sr. and Marie Louise Theriot Aycock; one brother, Gaston P. Aycock Jr.; and one sister, MaeBelle A. Dodd. She was a retired school teacher of 40 years with the Terrebonne Parish School District. She taught at Houma Elementary and belonged to the Retired Teacher’s Association of Terrebonne Parish. John F. Bouchard, age 77, loving husband of the late Florence (Martell) Bouchard and formerly of Hidden Brook Drive, Brookfield, died at New Milford Hospital on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Mr. Bouchard was born on June 24, 1927, son of the late Honoret and Alphosine (Martell) Bouchard in Franklin, Vermont.After attending school in his early years John married his wife Florence and they spent over 50 loving years of marriage raising their family. John ran his own company called John Bouchard Paving which he started in 1965 and then retired from in 1992 and is now Bouchard Construction owned by his son-in-law Steve.John was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Brookfield. He was also a member of the Danbury Fish and Game Club and a former member of the Moose Lodge. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all John will be remembered by family and friends for being a warm and loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend.John will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Paulette and her husband Jack Czezynski of Lakeside, CA, Cheryl and her husband Tom Wall of Brookfield, and Lisa and her husband Steven Dunn of Brookfield; three brothers: Rodland and his wife Helen Bouchard of Vermont, Norman and his wife Elaine Bouchard of Vermont and Leo and his wife Sandy Bouchard of Danbury; four sisters: Simone and her husband Doug Columb of Vermont, Bertha and her husband Barkley Berg of Florida, Lucille and her husband Freddie Greeno of Vermont, and Evelyn Regan of MA. BOWNS, Gladys Margaret Charron - 97, of Howell, Michigan, formerly of Evart and New Lothrop and Flint, Michigan, passed away on February 2, 2005. Beloved mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by: husbands, Romaine Charron and William Bowns. She was survived by: son, Donald (Pauline); step-children, Stanley (Joyce) Bowns, Merle Roberts and Carol Bean. She was the loving grandmother of Bill, Michelle, David, deChantal, Loren, Ray, Kate and Lance as well as 19 great-grandchildren. She was a supervisor for Flint AC and later owned and operated The New Lothrop Tavern with Gertrude Dakin. For many years, she was the township clerk for Orient Township and volunteered for many charities. She enjoyed many hobbies, loved people and never spoke an unkind word towards anyone. She was dearly loved by so many and will be truly missed. Guerin, Nettie Anna "Tuzzie" A resident of Ventress and a native of New Roads, she died after a courageous five-year battle with ovarian cancer in Baton Rouge at her daughter's home on Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at 7:17 p.m., surrounded by her husband and family. She was 76, born Feb. 7, 1928. She loved life to the fullest and was an inspiration to all around her. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was the oldest of three children. She was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a past DAR member and member of The Book Club. She was also the Children's Mother's Club Carnival Queen of 1939. She married Joseph Warren Guerin Sr. on April 12, 1945. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Warren Guerin Sr.; three daughters, Mary Lynn Anderson, Prairieville, Carol Louise Dykes and son-in-law Steven D. DeBlois and lived in Clinton most of his life. Jason worked as an inventory manager at ITT Suprenant-Rockbestos, formerly of Clinton for thirty-two years, retiring in 2004. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1974. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. He enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling and jet skiing, and was a talented photographer. The funeral will be held Tuesday, February 8th from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church Street with a Mass at 11:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours will be held Monday, February 7th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Lucille (Pelletier) Pare, 78, of Enfield, died on Friday, (February 4, 2005) at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford. Born on March 14, 1926 in Frenchville, ME., she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Marie (Cyr) Pelletier. She has lived in Enfield for the past 45 years. Before her retirement, Lucille was a longtime employee at Casual Corner Distribution Center in Enfield. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church since the founding of the parish over 40 years ago. Mrs. Pare leaves behind her three beloved children, Michael Pare and his wife Cyndi of Niantic; Janine Stevens and her husband Nic of Keller, TX and Francis Pare and his wife Suzanne of Columbia. She also leaves four brothers, Camille Pelletier of East Hartford, Lionel Pelletier of Andover, Rosaire Pelletier of Madawaska, ME and Roland Pelletier of Frenchville, ME; six sisters, Therese Lavoie of West Hartford, Pricilla Fortin of Windsor Locks, Cecile Mulherin of Manchester, Rita Pelletier of Bristol, Maryrose Boule of Bangor, ME and Irene Bouchard of Frenchville, ME. She was predeceased by three brothers, George, Adlin and Claude Pelletier. There are five grandchildren, Janice, Valerie, Christine and Tanya Pare and Nicole Stevens. SHERMAN, Carol-Lynn (nee Waldman) Peacefully but suddenly, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at the age of 57, at the West Boca Medical Center, in Florida from pneumonia, following a remarkable battle with Myelofibrosis. She will be forever missed by Neil, her husband and best friend of 36 years. Beloved mother of Jordanna and Gord, David and Cami. Adoring Bubbie of Brianna, Kade and Madison (born Wednesday, February 2, 2005). Cherished sister of Mark, Ken and wife Carla and Deborah and husband Bill. Loving daughter of the late Helen and Irwin Waldman of Vancouver. Dear daughter-in-law of Rose and the late Ron Sherman and sister-in-law of Brenda and Leslie Caplan. She will be held in the hearts of her many family and friends. The warmth of Carol's heart, smile and courage was a gift to all who knew her. Irene Elizabeth Roy, 95, of Kankakee, died Friday (Feb. 4, 2005) at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, West Kankakee, with a 4 p.m. wake service. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Kankakee, where she was a lifetime member. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mrs. Roy was born Oct. 3, 1909 in Coal City, the daughter of Remi and Josephine Bosman Vassen. She married Louis Lecour Roy on Aug. 22, 1936 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1999. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Roy of Ramona, Calif.; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzette and George Flageole of Kankakee; seven grandchildren and spouses, Patricia and Gary Payne of Keokuk, Iowa, Annette Davis of LaQuinta, Calif., Douglas and Jean Marie Flageole of Chebanse, Lisa and Michael Riegel of Bonfield, John and Bianca Roy and Tom Roy, all of San Diego, Renee and Michael Blood of Round Rock, Texas; 16 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lauren and David Flageole, Holly, Scott and Sara Riegel, Nicole and Kelsey Payne, Andrew and Allison Davis, Anneke, Paul, Silvia and Owen Roy, Hannah and Molly Blood; and four sisters-in-law, Mildred Roy of Kankakee, Lola Roy of Bluford, Iris Mulvihill of Osprey, Fla., and Pearl Vassen of Kankakee. Other relatives who preceded her in death are her parents; one great-granddaughter, Kayle Payne; four brothers, Rothchild, Joseph, Ray and Emile; and three sisters, Rachel, Josephine and Helen. Mrs. Roy received her education in the Kankakee Public Schools. In the early 1930s, she owned the Ave. Shop on Schuyler Ave., where she designed and sold hats. She was an accomplished seamstress, loved to read, play golf and was an avid Bridge player, belonging to many clubs; but was especially fond of the Kiciwoa Club (an Indian name that means friendship) that she started in December of 1938 and continued to be a member. She was a member of St. Patrick's CCW and had belonged to the Tuesday Book Review, the Easter Seal Ladies and the Home Extension Association. In her later years she continued to teach her family about the power of prayer by praying for the needs of each child and grandchild. Sarah Sheppard September 11, 1905 - November 19, 1999 Passed away peacefully on November 19, 1999 at Grace Villa Nursing Home in her 95th year. Sarah, predeceased by her first husband Harry Peart and her second husband Albert Sheppard. She is lovingly remembered by her son A. H. Bud Peart and his wife Joyce.
