Régina Hébert HÉBERT, Regina (nee Bois) - 1910 - 2004 - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of their mother. Régina Hébert passed away at the Van Daele Extendicare Nursing Home in Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Hébert on May 29, 1989. Loving mother of Armand (wife Jacqueline), late Luciènne Dagenais (1997) (husband Paul), Rose Ward (late husband John) (1982), late Lorenzo (2004) (wife Mary), Thérèse Roy (late Gerry) (1999), Irène Larson (husband Bill), late Gaston (2003) (wife Brenda), late Jeannette Roy (2001) (husband Raoul), Lucie Bélanger (husband Marcel), Pauline Lacroix (late Yvon) (2003), Jean Paul (wife Diane), Denise Sutherland (husband Mike), Jacques (wife Murièlle) and Diane Hébert (husband Fernand Boileau). HOLM, Muriel Marion Letitia (nee Hollingworth) December 13, 1914 - August 16, 2004 R.N. (retired) Graduate of Ottawa Civic Hospital, Class of '39 Passed away Monday evening in the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 89, in the arms of her extended family whom she loved so much. Predeceased by her husband, Urban "Dick" Holm and sister Helen (late Allan) McGregor. She is survived by sisters Doris (late Alan) Campbell and Jean Hollingworth and brother Don. She is dreadfully missed by her many nieces and nephews, especially her great nephew and nieces, Devon, Jenny and Tess Campbell with whom she resided. Muriel lived in Cape Breton for many years where she taught nursing at the Sydney Hospital School of Nursing from 1950 until 1980. Following the death of her husband, Muriel moved back to Arnprior to be with her family. Since '97, she lived her life in happiness with her sisters, nephews Craig (Julie) and most importantly the three children. What the children gained from her is absolutely invaluable. With her caring attitude, quiet dignity, encouragement and support, their lives have been immeasurably enriched. Muriel was a duel member of The Order of Eastern Star, Cape Breton Chapter #12, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and Arnprior Chapter #211 and a member of Emmanuel Anglican Church. Eldon R. Libby Eldon R. Libby, 85, of Veterans Health Care Center, Moncton and formerly of Riverview, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 6, 2004. Born in St. Stephen, son of the late Eldon and Sarah (Rolls) Libby. After returning from Overseas, where he served in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, he went to work for Ganong Brothers in St. Stephen, NB, in the shipping room. In 1948, he moved to Moncton and continued to work for Ganong's as a Commercial Traveler and was on the road for 35 years until retirement, then working for the Corp of Commissioners for ten more years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Riverview, where he served on various boards in past years. He was active in the Masonic Order for over 50 years. He became a Mason in St. Stephen, later joining Coverdale Lodge #52 F and AM, served as Worshipful Master in 1968, and was appointed Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of NB, where he received the William G. Quinn Award from the Grand Lodge of NB. He was a member of the Past Masters Unit, where he was made an Honorary Member, member of The Lodge of Perfection and the Royal Order of Scotland, member and Past Patron of Fidelity Chapter #36 O.E.S., served as Patron for two and a half years, made honorary member in Havelock, Shediac and Petitcodiac Chapters. Past Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of NB in 1989-90, member and Past President of the Moncton Shrine Club and life member of Luxor Shrine Temple, Saint John. He was a member of Moncton Legion #6, received a life membership from the Riverview Veterans & Armed Forces Association. Veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas in Continental Europe. Eldon will be sadly missed by his wife of over 55 years, Elizabeth May (Armstrong) Libby; daughter, Patricia Wallace (Robert) of Kitchener, ON; son, Gordon (Sandra) of Vancouver, BC; grandchildren, Jack, Sarah, Kimberley, and Jill; great grandchildren, Morgan and Matthew; sisters, Lillian Hill of Saint John, Jean Church (Bob) of West Roxbury, MASS; nephew, Bill Robinson; niece, Susan Rose; several cousins. RUE, William (Bill) Né le 15 août 1930 et décédé le 16 août 2004, après avoir lutté courageusement pendant des années contre les ravages de la maladie de Parkinson. Il a passé ses dernières années au Centre d'hébergement Champlain de Châteauguay où il a reçu des soins extraordinaires. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Beverly et ses enfants: Karen (Henna Jenson), Bill, Amy et Doug (France Auchoo). En 1964, Bill est déménagé dans la ville de Québec où il a enseigné au Collège des Jésuites, plus tard au CEGEP Montpetit de Longueuil et au CEGEP Montmorency de Laval. Selon sa volonté, il ne sera pas exposé. La famille recevra parents et amis au salon de 19 à 21 h le vendredi 20 août, en présence des cendres. After serving in the United States Marine Corp in Korea, Bill entered Michigan State University and received his BA, and later his MA in Linguistics from University of Michigan. In 1964, Bill moved to Quebec City and developed the "a new English as a Second Language" programme for what was to become the new CEGEP system. He taught at the College des Jesuites in Quebec City, and later at Monpetit CEGEP in Longueuil, and Montmorency CEGEP in Laval. During his years in Quebec City, Bill organized a liberal religious group. Later when living on the South Shore, he was active in the Unitarian Congerations on Montreal Island. HARDING, Carl Robert - At the North Bay General Hospital on Monday, August 16th, 2004, while in his 76th year. Carl Robert Harding was the beloved husband of Patricia "Pat" Wheeler. Loving father of Ed Harding and his wife Donna of Bobcaygeon, Jean Harding of Parry Sound and Rob Harding and his wife Sharon of Sundridge. Loving grandfather of Christine (husband Scott), Stephanie, Jason, Candace and Courtney. Carl worked in the print industry in Toronto, prior to his retirement in 1990. In 1991 he and Pat moved to North Bay to be closer to the Cottage. Carl founded Sun Volts Unlimited Inc. which he operated together with his family. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. POT, HENDRIK "HENRY" The death of Hendrik "Henry" Pot, husband of Lammechien "Ena" (Nijboer) Pot of Keswick Ridge occurred at his residence on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer he was surrounded by friends and family. Henry went Home to be with his Lord and Saviour and is safe in the arms of Jesus. B orn in Holland, in 1924, he was a son of the late Eildert and Klaassiena A. (Pepping) Pot. Mr. Pot was a retired Farmer, Meat Cutter and Handyman. He was one of the founding members of the Fredericton Christian Reformed Church, taught Sunday School, loved bowling, gardening and sharing flowers with everyone (especially the gladiolas). He will be sadly missed by his Friends and family. Besides his wife Ena, Henry is survived by 4 sons, Harry Pott (Evelyn) of Brockville ON, Gerry Pot (Arja) of Keswick Ridge NB, Peter Pott (Leza) of Burton NB, and Hank Pott (Wanda) of Keswick Ridge NB; 4 daughters, Margaret VanOord (Dick) of Jewett Mills NB, Ena Hamming (Kees) of Yellowknife NWT, Jane Woodworth (Dick) of Fredericton NB and Pam Pott of Fredericton NB; 26 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Jantje Kruizinga of Holland, Aaltje Niemeijer (Bertus) of Holland, Geziena Dieterman (Geert) of Holland, Johanna Nijboer (Otto) of Holland and several nieces & nephews. Eileen Carmen McCully SUSSEX, NB - Eileen Carmen McCully of Sussex, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at the Sussex Health Center at the age of 83. Born October 20, 1920 in Dobson's Corner, she was the daughter of the late James and Ella Lounsbury. Eileen was a member of the Sussex Baptist Church, the W.M.S. and the Women's Institute. She is survived by her husband Grant McCully; three sons, Gary of Hartland, Stanley (Anne) of Penobsquis and Glenn (Carol) of Hamilton, ON.; a sister, Ethel Taylor of Salisbury; six grandchildren, Ryan, Amy, Jocelyn, Bonnie, Cora-Lee and Matthew; four great grandchildren, Justice, Callista, Dayon and Emily,; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son James; four sisters, Hazel, Carrie, Muriel and Edna; two brothers, Albert and Frank. Visiting hours will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
