BIGRAS John Paul "J.P." John Paul "J.P." Bigras passed away suddenly as a victim of a car accident on September 6, 2003 at theage of 19 years. COURJAUD, Alexandre Paul In loving memory of Alexandre Paul Courjaud, 60 years who passed away Friday evening, September 5th, 2003 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. Born in Warsaw, Poland he spent his working life in law enforcement, starting as an Ontario Provincial Police Officer, then serving as Sherriff for the City of Sudbury, then as a Senior Investigator with the Police Complaints Commission and finally as an Investigator with S.I.U. Alex was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a man who found the peace of God's presence in the serenity of nature. Alex always stood firm and defended tenaciously his beliefs and causes. He centered his life around family and friends especially enjoying entertaining at his home on Windy Lake. Loving and dedicated husband of Barbara (Gravelle) Courjaud of Dowling. Loving father of Selene (husband Greg Taylor) of Barrie, Nadine (husband Allan Nordquist) of Garson and Alena of Mississauga. JOAN HEBERT (nee MUIR) Peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2003 with her loving family by her side. Joan was a great cook, a very talented seamstress and artisan, and spent many sumêmers at Gull Lake with her family. She always put her family first and regardless of the health challenges that she faced, she never complained. Joan had a good sense of humour and provided countless memorable birthday and Christmas celebrations. Landry, Helen, Published: 09/09/2003 Oxbow, SK LANDRY_Helen Marlene Landry, late of Oxbow, passed away suddenly, on Friday, September 5, 2003 at the Regina General Hospital. Helen was born November 19, 1935 at Chelan, Sask. to Pearl and John Hamêmer. She grew up in Alida and married Eugene Landry. They moved to Oxbow in 1961. Helen was a talented seamstress, cake decorator and puzzle solver. Her biggest passion however, was gathering all of her family together so she could feed them the best meal they'd had since the last time they ate at her house. She was predeceased by her father, John Hamêmer; mother Pearl Nielsen and step-father, Niels Nielsen. Helen is survived by her loving husband of almost 49 years, Eugene. Three daughters, Laurianne (Randy) Dubuc; Anita (Bill) Hayward; Carol (Robert) Pegg. Grandchildren, Connie (Billy) Lester; Marc Dubuc; Melinda Hayward; Courtney Hayward; Carrie Fuller; Ben Fuller; Amanda Pegg; and Zachary Pegg. CLEA CHARTRAND On Saturday, September 6, 2003 Clea Chartrand passed away at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, Eriksdale. Survived by her husband of nearly 45 years Phillip Chartrand, her daughter Cheryl (Dan), grandson Shane (Dana) and her great-grandchild Ryleigh Clea. She also leaves to cherish her mother Florence Carriere, brothers and sisters, Ernest (Marilyn), Leonard (Roseanne), Patricia (Gabriel), Marcia (Ted), Lorraine (Brian), Lucy, Rita (Larry), Marcel, Verna, and Corrine (Ron). Brothers and sisters-in-law, Lorraine, Laurette (Adrian), Dorothy (Sylvain), and Barbara (Elmer), she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Art Carriere in 1998. Clea will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Friends and family were brought together with love and laughter by her extraordinary ability to cook. Clea's strong desire for a challenge led her to many other hobbies. Her deep passion for life was further displayed with ease to perform her love of sewing, knitting, crafts and gardening. ARSENAULT, Terrance Joseph "Terry" - Passed away peacefully, at residence, with his family by his side on Sunday, September 7, 2003, at the age of 55.
