GÉLINEAU M. André 1943-2009 À l'hôpital B.M.P de Cowansville, le 8 avril 2009 à l' âge de 66 ans est décédé M. André Gélineau. Il laisse dans le deuil ses fils: Marc (Sylvie) et Éric (Marylène), ses petits-enfants : Nicholas, Audrey, Olivier et Alexis, ses frères et soeurs: Gilles (Ghislaine), Solange, feu Angèle, Robert (Francine), Gisèle (Michel), Denis (Lucie), Micheline (Eddy), Francine (Michel), Huguette (Yves) et Guylaine (Gilles), plusieurs neveux et nièces, cousins et cousines autres parents ainsi que ses nombreux amis et collègues de travail. Fondateur et propriétaire de TAXI-AB, homme d'affaires bien connu dans la région et impliqué dans son milieu, il était un travailleur acharné et passionné par son travail ainsi que généreux pour les siens et son entourage. Son sourire permanent et son affabilité lui ont valu d'être profondément aimé de tous et particulièrement de ses enfants et de ses petits-enfants. Il restera à jamais dans leurs coeurs. Zélia Robichaud - À l’Hôpital de Tracadie-Sheila, le jeudi Saint 9 avril 2009, à l’âge de 91 ans, nous a laissé, entourée des personnes qui l’aimait, Zélia Robichaud, conjointe de feu Dosithé Robichaud. Née à Sainte-Rose le 26 août 1917, elle était fille de feu Osias LaPlante et de feu Françoise Duguay. Elle laisse dans le deuil deux soeurs: Aurore (Hubert Boudreau) chez qui elle demeurait et Sylvie (George Vienneau); deux frères: Léo (Géraldine) et Stanislas (Emerentienne); deux belles-soeurs: Thérèse Robichaud et Lucille Vautour; plusieurs neveux, nièces, filleuls, fil-leules à qui elle manquera beaucoup; ses gardiennes: Marie-Lyne McGraw et Marie-Paule Witzell, ainsi que plusieurs autres quelle à gran-dement appréciée dans le passé. Un fils adoptif, Fernand, ainsi que trois soeurs: Marceline, Délia et Lorraine, sa filleule (2006), l’ont précédée dans la tombe. Mme Robichaud était une femme exceptionnelle, elle était aimée de tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de la connaître. La famille recevra parents et amis à compter de 14h, le dimanche 12 avril, à la Coo-pérative funéraire «La Colombe» de Tracadie-Sheila. Les funérailles seront célébrées en l’église Sainte-Rose-de-Lima de Sainte-Rose, le lundi 13 avril, à 16h. Heures de visites: le dimanche 12 avril, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le lundi 13 avril, de 14h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles. HAMMER, Elfriede Karoline Johanna - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 07, 2009. In keeping with Elfriede's wishes, a private family service was held. Elfie was predeceased by her husband, Karl Johann Hammer, her beloved son, Michael W. Hammer, beloved mother, Maria Wimmer and beloved father, Josef Wimmer Sr. She was loved by many, and will be sorely missed by her sons Karl Sr. (Rachel), Walter, and Robert (Katherine), brother and cherished friend Josef Wimmer Jr. (Debbie), sister Herta Wurtzl (Peter), and daughter in-law Tracie Hanna. Elfriede was deeply loved by her grandchildren Eleisa (Gulio), Karl Jr. (Michelle), Matthew (Helena), Chris (Lynn), Kristina (Tyler), Natasha (John), Bianca (Jamie), Kallyssa, Kiara, Olivia and Logan; great-grandchildren Tabitha, Noah, Jakob (Jack) and Haley. KINART, Betty Lou (Goulding) - Suddenly at her residence on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, Betty Lou (Goulding) Kinart, age 82, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Grant Kinart. Dear mother of Jean Weatherby of Camlachie, Marjorie Atkinson and her husband Dean of London, Roy Kinart and his wife Pam of Kincardine, Larry Kinart and his wife Maureen, Cheryl Orrange and her husband Charlie and Denise Minty and her husband David all of Sarnia. VanDeHOEF Winnie (Wijntje Van de Pol) - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Winnie left this world on April 9, 2009, at the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Continuing Care Site, Petrolia, in her 97th year. Beloved mother of Harry and Fran VanDeHoef of Sarnia, Garry and Mary VanDeHoef of Wyoming, Clari Thornicroft (the late Bruce, February 2009) of London, and Dini and Harold Taylor of Sarnia. Winnie was predeceased by her husband Hendrik (Henry) (1986) as well as several sisters and brothers in the Netherlands. Two sisters, as well as several nieces and nephews also remain in the Netherlands. Grandmother to Tanya Smith, Amy Foch, Steve VanDeHoef, Melody Jacques and Chrystal VanDeHoef, Shannon Robinson, Joleen Taylor, Stefany Jamieson and Trevor Taylor, as well as fifteen great grandchildren. Winnie was born in the Netherlands in 1912 and immigrated with her family to Southwestern Ontario in September 1952. In honoring their mother's wishes, the family will not be having visitation. A memorial service celebrating Winnie's life will be held for family and friends at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wyoming. RIDGWAY, Dora Anne September 13, 1915 - March 22, 2009 Miss Dora Anne Ridgway of Calgary passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Dora was the second-born in a family of five siblings and lived her whole life in Calgary - lastly at Wentworth Manor, where she made many friends with staff and residents alike. A proud and long-time employee of Eaton's Canada, Dora retired after thirty-five years. She was an active member of St. Stephen's Anglican Church and is the last of the original congregation to pass away. Dora is survived by her sisters-in-law, Jessie (Maurice) Ridgway of Lethbridge, AB., Jackie (Jim) Ridgway of Edmonton, AB., and brother-in-law Frank (Betty) Thompson of Stittsville, ON. OBITUARY HILDA PELLEGRINO (nee STACK) 1921 - 2009 Sadly on March 31, 2009, with a great sense of loss, our family announces the passing of our cherished wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. She will be missed by her devoted husband of sixty-one years, Antonio, her children, Ann (Kevin), Patrick (Linda), John (Maureen), Michael (Ginette), Anthony, Louise, Richard, Angela (Jay), grandchildren (their spouses), sisters-in-law Anna Rose Thouin and Clair Zabek (both deceased) and Helen Macaskill. BRICKNER, Judy Ann (nee Staroszik) March 3, 1950 - April 4, 2009 Judy Ann Brickner (nee Staroszik), beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, died peacefully on the morning of April 4, 2009. Judy was born in Red Deer, AB, on March 3, 1950. She was preceded by her mother Aileen "Dolly" in 1957 and by Wayne Lanteigne in 2001. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Rita (Don), and grandsons, Stephan (Ikumi) and Brydon; parents Glen and Elsie; siblings Ken (Dayla), Colleen (Cal), Arne (Heather), Joyce (Ailleen), and Lana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. KAYUK, Frederick "Ted" Frederick Donald (Ted) Kayuk, 61, son of Marian Edwinna and Frederick Kayuk lost his battle with cancer on April 8, 2009. He is survived by Vickie LaVerne Kayuk, his wife of 32 years, and his sister, Dierdre Hartman. MOYD, Pauline Auerbach Passed away on April 10, 2009. Born in 1916 in Brooklyn, NY, Pauline Moyd graduated from Barnard and Bryn Mawr Colleges with degrees in Geology. After marrying geologist, Louis Moyd in December 1939, they worked as consulting geologists until 1965 when Louis became Curator of Minerals of the National Museum. Pauline joined the Geological Survey of Canada in 1966 until her retirement in 1981, when she continued to volunteer at the Canadian Museum of Nature. An innovator, Pauline stood out as a female in a male world, often overcoming terrible working conditions and superstitions about women underground in a mine. She was the first female member of Canadian Institute of Mining, raising awareness of the women in mining. Her crowning achievement was Organizing Secretary for the 24th International Geological Congress in Montreal in 1972, hosting over 5,000 geologists from 115 nations. Pauline is predeceased by her husband and partner Louis in February. She is survived by twin daughters, Liz Fox, of Tampa FL and Kathy Moyd of Pasadena, CA and niece, Robbie Irgens. Pauline will also be missed by the, caring staff of Richmond Lodge and adopted family Patti and Harold Floysvik of Nepean. DUPUIS, Reginald - 1927 - 2009. Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home, on Sunday, April 5th, 2009. Reginald was the beloved husband of the late Christine Blake for 60 years, he was in his 82nd year. Loving father of Gerry and his wife Pauline, Ron and his wife Diane both of Mattawa, and he was predeceased by his children Rhéaume & Larry. Pépère will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Eric (Jennifer), Luc (Dianne), Natalie, Jenna (Sandy), Jillian and 4 great grandchildren Marie-Pascale, tienne, Cole and Rylan. Dearly loved brother of Bernice, Geraldine, Lilliane and Suzanne. He was predeceased by his parents Rosalie Lapensée and Ernest Dupuis and by his siblings Lionel, Emile, Roger, Conrad, Victor, Edna and Rollande. Reg started to work with his father at the age of 14 in the bush. Together with his father and brothers they started Ernest Dupuis Logging and in 1964 he and Lionel started Dupuis Brothers Logging, retiring in 1984. He was a Past Grand Knight with the Mattawa Council 6214 and was an active member of the 4th Degree. Family was important to Reginald and he spent many hours enjoying his grandchildren. Visitation was held at the MARTYN-SLOAN “MATTAWA CHAPEL“ on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father McElligott at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 8th at 3:00 PM. PINARD, Roger Antonio - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Albert and of the late Yvonne (née Beauchemin) Pinard. Beloved husband of Jean Pinard (née Turner) of Elliot Lake. Loving father of Yvonne Gilchrist of St-Charles, Linda Frenette (Josh) of Hanmer, Jo-Anne Blaseg of Ottawa and Roland “Bucky“ Pinard (Cindy) of Lavigne. Dear brother of Jeanne Bélanger (Laurier) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Walter (late Noëlla), Antonio (late Zilda), Marie-Rose Robillard (late Louis), Henri (Bertha Pinard of Sudbury), Joseph (Thérèse Pinard of Sudbury) and Rosaire (late Yvonne), Therèse Lavoie (late Philipe) and Emilda DeLuisa (Luigi of Sudbury). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Sherry-Lynn, Brent, Chantal, Natalie, Celina-Jean, Murray, Kristie and his 9 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. Mr. Pinard was retired from Rio Algom Mines after 35 years of service. He was a Steelworker Union member, having been a former Stewart and a Safety Chairman. In his younger days, he was also very active in hockey. The focus of Roger's life was his loving family who will miss him dearly. SNIDER, Ted Pearce - peacefully with his family by his side on Friday April 10th, 2009 at Belleville General Hospital in his 84th year. Veteran WWII RCAF, Radio Broadcaster and Music Teacher. Ted spent a long career in radio broadcasting with such stations as CKWS, CJTN & CJBQ. He also gave his time to his community by founding the Trenton Citizens Band in 1962. Ted finished his service with the band after 40 + years as the Band Leader. Cherished husband of 54 years to the late Elizabeth Joanne Snider. Loving father of Mary Romanin & husband Randy of Pemberton, B.C., and Stephen Snider & fiance Janice Armstrong of Port Hope.
