Stanislas Paul et de feu Mme Léda Morin, épouse de feu M. Wilfrid Paré demeurant à Mashteuiatsh. La famille recevra les condoléances à la Maison funéraire Harvey 816, boul. St-Joseph Roberval Le lundi 9 juin 2008 de 19 h à 22 h, le mardi 10 juin 2008 à compter de 9 h. Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 10 juin 2008 à 11 h à l'église St-Jean de Brébeuf de Roberval. Mme Paul sera confiée au crématorium de la Maison Hébert et Fils de Roberval et les cendres seront déposées au columbarium du cimetière de Roberval. SCOTT, Dale E. "Scoon" Carleton Place Citizen Of The Year 2003 "David put his hand in the bag and pulled out a stone and slung it, and it hit the Philistine in the head, and he fell to the ground" I Samuel 17:49 Scoon's favorite verse from the movie Hoosiers Peacefully in hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family on Saturday June 7, 2008, at the age of 42. Loving son of Jim and Edna Scott. Dear brother of Kenny, Pauline (Rick Kane), Ray (Laurie) and Earl. Proud uncle of his nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Scoon will be fondly remembered for his countless hours of community involvement, his Tunes by Scoon D.J. service and most of all his many friends. His passion for the Detroit Red Wings was evident right to the end, and he was able to see his team raise the cup one last time. Friends may call at the Alan R. LUPULIAK, Verna (nee Segstro) April 3, 1934 - June 4, 2008 Verna's family is saddened to announce her passing on Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Verna was the beloved mother to two daughters, Debra June and Susan Kim (Darryl) Burgess and the proud grandmother of William and Caelan Burgess. Also left to mourn her passing are her brother Jack (Hazel) Segstro of Carstairs; sister-in-law Diana Lupuliak of Chinook, as well as many dear cousins, nephews, nieces and their families. Verna was predeceased by her husband of forty-six years, William "Bill", in May of 2007. She met and married her husband Arthur Kempan in Winnipeg and they lived in the city until her passing. Predeceased by his wife Helen (nee McQueen) and his parents Vernon John McDougall and Roberta "Bertie" (nee Houston). Devoted father to Cindy, great step-father to Jeff (Dodie) Torrance, Julie Torrance (Rick Hayter) and Laurie Torrance (Don Trowell). Loving brother to Brent (Joan) of Lanark, Barry of Almonte, Scott (Julie) of Carleton Place, and Stephen (Michelle) of Almonte. Dear brother-in-law to Ken McQueen (Sandra) and Cam McQueen (Debbie). Loving Papa to Adam Babineau (Julie), Alexandra and Taylor Torrance and Great-grandpa to Owen Babineau. Uncle to Ryan, Brent and Jenna McQueen, Geoffrey and Jonathan Simpson, the late Matthew, Josh, Ryan, Derek and Hailey McDougall. Dear cousin to Cairine Toshack. Fondly remembered by many friends. An avid outdoorsman, Brian spent much of his time fishing and hunting. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Barry Naimer, Marcia and David Steinlauf, the late Michael Naimer. Cherished Bubby of Shawn, Zachary and Matthew. Sister and sister-in-law of Bessie and Sol Steinmetz, Shirley and the late Leon Haber, and sister-in-law of Gerry and Sharon Naimer, Sheela and Marty Springer. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, family and all of those whose lives she touched. BLUNSTON, BARBARA EVELYN Barbara Evelyn Blunston passed away at the York Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, June 5th 2008 at the age of 82. Born in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Grace (Meahan) and Alfred Lapointe. She was affiliated with the Wesleyan Church. Barbara is survived by a son, Jack (Peggy) Blunston; one brother, Bill Lapointe; several grand children and great grand children; cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Charles Blunston; adoptive parents, Eddie and Celia Lapointe; two daughters, Jean Ellen and Sharon Margaret; three sons, Richard, Robert and Donald; two sisters, Joyce Lapointe Roy and Opel Lapointe Duncan. Cremation will take place at Barbara's request. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev Pete Thomas officiating.
