Wife of the late Fred Brock, mother of Michael, Pat and Janice. She will be missed by her sister Pauline and her grandchildren. WOWK, Cecile (nee Dupuis) - In loving memory of Cecile (nee Dupuis) Wowk, 83 years who passed away Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 at the Maison La Paix, Sudbury. She was born in St. Charles and married Zenas Wowk in Sudbury in 1952. Cecile had worked at Loblaws and Sears for several years. She was a devout Roman Catholic having faithfully attended St. Clement's Church in healthier times. She had been a volunteer and regular donor with the Canadian Blood Services (Red Cross). She enjoyed dancing and she will be remembered for her wonderful smile and good humour. Beloved wife of Zenas Wowk predeceased 1996. Cherished daughter of Moise and Mary (O'Neil) Dupuis predeceased. Loving sister of Desmond, Alfred, Moise “Jerry“ Dupuis, Beatrice Crockette and Lillian Russell all predeceased. In addition to his tutoring business Bill was Vice Chair and an active volunteer with the Niagara Regional Literacy Council and a volunteer tutor with the Lifetime Learning Centre. Tutoring and teaching were Bill's passion and his purpose was to change lives through literacy. Bill will be fondly remembered and will be sadly missed by his wife Janice, his family, his friends and all his students. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the PATRICK J. In Loving Memory Of Ian "Poppey" Morrison 1936 - 2007 Ian passed away on December 10th, 2007 at Sudbury Regional Hospital-St. Joseph's Health Centre at the age of 71 years. Sadly missed by his daughters Dena, Janet Ablitt (Wayne), and their mother Betty Morrison. Grandchildren Erin, Taylor and Jordan Ablitt. He was brother to Dena Dunlap (Jake) of Ottawa, Norman (Grace) of Etobicoke and Donald deceased. Ian was raised in Ottawa and moved to Sudbury in 1960. Ian worked for Revenue Canada as an Auditor and Supervisor for 27 years, retiring in April 1987. Although he developed increasing health problems over the years, Ian enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to be with people. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in the bush with his hunting buddies. In the past year he loved to spend time sitting in a lounge chair at his daughter's home looking at Lake Ramsey. Funeral Service in the R.J. ROBERTS, Arnold Norman Parker Born on May 9, 1917 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away in his sleep at Bella Senior Care Residence in Niagara Falls on Monday, December 10, 2007. Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 66 years. Audrey and by his son Stanley (Donna) Roberts and his daughters Leslie (Roger) Madsen, Margo (Jim) McKinstry and Sybil (Bill) Enloe. He was predeceased by his parents, his infant daughter Carol Ann and his siblings Helen, Gordon and Stanley. Arnold had a thirty year career in the Canadian military as an electrical engineer. He retired as Lieutenant Colonel in 1968. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in a variety of capacities. He was Mission President of the Indiana/Michigan Mission and first president of the Toronto LDS Temple. He is a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Moe will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He was an avid snowmobile and stock car racer, a hard working and giving person who loved to spend time with his family.
