SHEPPARD, Barry Peacefully on Friday, October 5th, 2007 at University Hospital. Barry Sheppard of London in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Lorraine. Dear father of Ann (John Disano) and Brian. Sadly missed by his aunt Agnes Keates, and remembered by his nieces Tanya Mann, Cathy Holsgrove, and his nephews Tim Holsgrove and Dan Holsgrove. Predeceased by his sister Gloria Mann. Barry was educated at Glebe Collegiate, Queens University, and St. Patrick's School of Social Work (Carleton). He taught at the University of Manitoba, Renison College (University of Waterloo) and Sir Wilfred Laurier University. Barry retired after many years as Executive Director/President of the United Way of Greater London. Barry loved life, and had many friends; he loved his garden (but not the rabbits.) The family would like to thank Team 1 Medical, the nursing and support staff 4th floor and the 6th floor at the University Hospital, London for their care and support. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11th, 2007 at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. DOMBEK, Carl F. - On Friday October 5, 2007 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at 58 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret. Dear brother of Frank (Dora) Dombek and Wanda and the late Arthur Gruszewski. Dear son in law of Alison and the late Douglas Black and brother in law of Gerald (Florence) Black, Ann Black, Aileen (Jim) Lyons. Predeceased by his parents Felix and Mary Dombek and his uncle Antoni Dombek. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Following his graduation from Brock in 1971, Carl completed a Law Degree at Dalhousie University. After his call to the Bar, further graduate studies at Queen's University and a period in private practice, he joined the Ontario Civil Service in 1977. Carl held numerous positions as senior government lawyer for several ministries and tribunals. Carl served as president of CCAT and through his career published several legal articles. HAMLEY, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Snowdon; formerly Williams) - Passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007, in her 92nd year, surrounded by her loving family, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Margaret was the wife of the late Ken Hamley (2001) and the late Richard W. Williams (1975). She was the dear mother of Irene and her husband Gary Millington of St. Catharines, Anne and her husband David Irwin of Mississauga and Catherine and her husband John Eckel of Simsbury, Connecticut. She was grandmother of eight and the great-grandma of 11. She was the cherished sister of Winnie and her husband John Anderson, Mildred and her husband Max Hill and her late brothers George, Bill and Tom Snowdon. As a young woman she played on Ontario Championship Basketball & Softball Teams, and in later years became an avid golfer (50 year Member K.G.C.C.), bridge player, lawn bowler and curler. She was a member of I.O.D.E. 57th Regiment and a long standing member of All Saints Anglican Church. Margaret loved the winters she spent in Clearwater, Florida with her 2nd husband Ken. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. The family is most grateful for the exceptional care and compassion given to Margaret by the staff of Applewood Manor during the past 4 years and the doctors and staff of P.R.H.C. CICCHINI, Caitlyn Patricia Nicole - With her family by her side, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She will be missed by her mother Karen MacDonald (Dave), her father Lou Cicchini (Kim), her brother Tyler stepbrothers Tyler Vynckier and Nicholas MacDonald, stepsister Natalie MacDonald, and her boyfriend Blaine Lancaster. She also will be missed by her grandparents Larry and Patricia Evans, her Nona Onoria Cicchini, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, stepfamilies, and friends. Caitlyn was predeceased by her aunt Cathy Evans, her uncle Romeo Cicchini, and her Nono Alessio Cicchini. Her smile, her laugh, and her zest for life made it easy to love her and she brightened the lives of all who knew her. Her family is comforted knowing that she will be met by her uncle Romeo Cicchini and her aunt Cathy Evans, where they will take her to a sunny beach and she will spend her days strolling along playing fetch with her dogs Maggie and Millie. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Theodore and Jennie (Green) Clark. He was employed with ARC in Moncton. Dave was an avid golfer, playing out of Maplewood Golf Club and was a member of the YMCA, he was often seen their exercising and swimming prior to his illness. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Jennifer Clark of Vancouver, Benjamin Livingstone of Toronto and Mandy Livingstone of London On; his sister, Joan O'Burn of Scarborough, On; niece, Heather and her two children; nephew Russell; as well as several cousins. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Lutz St. Moncton on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 1:30pm. with Pastor Terry Branscombe officiating. HOOPER, William Alfred (Bill) - Of Vittoria, Ontario passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at the Norfolk General Hospital. Bill is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, his children (from a previous marriage) Sheri-Lynne and Sean, his stepchildren Mike Leendertse, Michelle Stassburger (Chad) and Paul Leendertse (Melissa). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Mike, Ashley, Jesse, Rachel and Cole, his sister Pat MacAulay and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his mother Daisy Hooper and his brother-in-law Stu MacAulay. He was the proud manager of the Normandale and Chatsworth Fish Hatcheries for 37 years and was instrumental in creating a nature path adjoining the Normandale Hatchery. Bill was an active member of St. James United Church, Probus and the Simcoe Seniors Centre. Visitation will be held at ST.
