She also leaves behind to mourn her beloved grandsons Christopher Jr. and Matthew and daughter-in-law Tammy. Même si Sean n'avait pas de frères et de soeurs, il avait des amis qui l'aimaient comme un frère: Daniel, Ross, Dean, Martin, Alex, Ryan, Niall, Aodhan, Molly, Keegan, Tara. Tim le connaissait surtout pour son grand sens de l'humour. Sean était une inspiration pour plusieurs par sa détermination et sa bonne attitude envers les bonnes choses et les quelques moments difficiles de sa vie. Il a joué dans la ligue de hockey mineur, au soccer et a pratiqué la natation jusqu'à ce que le cancer le frappe en 2003. Il était un fervent partisan des Wildcats de Moncton et des Canucks de Vancouver qui l'ont déclaré partisan numéro 1. La photo de son équipe sera introduite au temple de la renommée du hockey. Pendant ses traitements contre le cancer, Sean a exploré son amour pour la musique et est devenu un joueur de batterie accompli dans le rock et un joueur de didgeredoo. Il a souvent joué le didj et de la batterie pour les visiteurs qui venaient chez lui sur le croissant Liberty. Sean était déterminé à continuer de skier pendant ses traitements. Il a été vu en train de skier à Poley Mountain et sur les pentes du Québec et du Maine. Il est devenu un skieur expérimenté, reconnu par ses partenaires de ski comme le "Blur" avec un large sourire. Il a démontré un grand sens des responsabilités sociales et était très mature pour son âge, sans doute grâce aux voyages qu'il a fait. Il a beaucoup voyagé au Canada, aux Etats-Unis, au Mexique, en Australie et en Nouvelle-Zélande. "La vie est comme un feu d'artifice, tu n'es allumé qu'une seule fois alors tu dois te tenir debout pour illuminer convenablement". Le feu d'artifice de Sean a été bref, mais glorieux. Les visites auront lieu le mercredi 11 juillet, de 19h à 21h, à la Maison funéraire Tuttles Bros., rue Lutz. Le service funéraire aura lieu en l'église Saint-Augustin, au coin de Mountain Road et de la rue Dominion à Moncton, le jeudi 12 juillet, à 11h. Sean had also had the great pleasure of numerous uncles and aunts and many cousins. Sean was an inspiration to many with his determination and attitude towards the many good and bad things life threw at him. Born on July 2nd, 1994, Sean played minor hockey and soccer, and swam until stricken with cancer in 2003. He was an ardent supporter of The Moncton Wildcats, and the Vancouver Canucks declared him their number one fan. His picture with the team will be entered into the Hockey Hall of fame. During cancer treatments Sean explored his love of music by becoming an accomplished rock drummer and didgeridoo player. He often played the 'didj and drums' for company at his home on Liberty Crescent. Sean was determined to continue skiing during treatments and became known as the 'blur with a grin' to his many skiing friends at Poley Mountain and in the hills of Quebec and Maine. Sean had a deep sense of social responsibility and was known to be mature for his age, perhaps from the traveling he had the opportunity to do in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. Life is like a firework, you are only lit once so you must stand firm and illuminate brilliantly. Sean's firework was brief, but it was glorious. Public visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11th from 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuttles Bros. Funeral Home on Lutz Street, Moncton. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Mountain Road, and Dominion Street, Moncton on Thursday, July 12th at 11 a.m. with Father Bernard Sloan officiating. HAISMAN, Daniel - It is with great sorrow that the Haisman family announces the death of Daniel Haisman at the young age of 47. Affectionately known as “Danny“ to his friends and family. Beloved husband of Maria. Cherished father of Dylan, Saskatoon and Step-father of Mandy, Maui and Radley, Edmonton. He is also survived by his loving mother Mary and father Jim Haisman, sister Maureen Beauregard and her Husband Michael, brother Rob and his wife Vicki, all of Sarnia, and brother David and his partner Christine, Woodstock. Ever doting, Danny was a loving uncle to Sarah, Ryan, Katie, Kristen and Shaun. Danny was born into this life on October 27, 1959 as Martin Daniel Cavanaugh and lovingly adopted by Jim Haisman who raised him as his very own. Danny attended Sacred Heart School and St. Patrick's High School where he made lifelong friends he spoke of often and loved very much. As a self styled Chef, Danny was famous for serving his friends and family with delicious food in great abundance. For the last 15 years Danny lived in Maui, which he called paradise, and enjoyed a very successful career in real estate. He loved the warm Pacific breeze, swaying palm trees, and Hawaiian sunshine. We loved his gift boxes at Christmas of macadamia nuts, Kona coffee, and sweet Hawaiian treats. At the time of his death, Danny was fighting multiple health problems, which finally took his life. He joked and laughed easily, even while struggling to survive. His youthful, humorous spirit will live forever. We will always remember his sneaky grin, loving heart, and happy soul. Danny has left us and gone to Heaven to be with God in eternal life. We look forward to being reunited with Danny someday. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Danny's life will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel at a later date, which will be published in the Sarnia Observer. John Currie Smith 1946 - 2007 John Currie Smith, 60, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, July 8th, 2007. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late Currie John and Hazel May (Hopper) Smith. He was a former employee of Firestone having worked in Moncton, Halifax and Fredericton. He was a member of the Glades Baptist Church. John was an avid NASCAR fan, he also enjoyed playing cards with his mother-in-law as his partner. He loved attending auctions, flea markets and eating out. CONNORS - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John Arthur "Art" Connors formerly of 40 Currie Ave. at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Sunday, July 8, 2007, after a courageous battle. Art was born in Saint John, a son of the late John D. and Annie F. (Butler) Connors. He had been employed as a brakeman with the C.P.R. and foreman with J. A. Likely Ltd. He retired as an inspector with Agriculture Canada in 1984 after 15 years of service. He served overseas with the Provost Corp from 1940 to 1946. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 69 and the Adanac Club (life member). Art was very close to his family and friends and enjoyed getting together for good times. He loved his camp at Buckley's Cove. He was always up for such adventures as family camping trips and traveling the country to visit children and grandchildren. He was a great story teller with an amazing memory, and a wonderful sense of humor. He never forgot where he came from, and his roots in Petersville. Art was very religious, a faithful parishioner of St. Pius X for over 40 years, and it stood him well during many life crises. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret (McCarthy) Connors, in 1974; his second wife, Alice (McGillicuddy) Connors, in 2004; two sons, J. Kevin and Brian G.; four brothers, Gerry, Charles, Philip, and Lewis Connors; and a sister, Rita Connors. He is survived by three sons, John D. (Brenda), Raymond J. (Michele), and Mark P. (Christine), all of Saint John; three daughters, Sharon A. Steblyk (Lester) of Spruce Grove, AB., Brenda Wilson (Peter) of Oakville, Ont., and Maureen Connors (Andre Landreville) of Ottawa; four sisters, Pauline McDade of Saint John, Mary Voorhees (Bill) of Bath, Me., Rose McMillan (William) of Oakville, Ont., and Eleanor Connors of Victoria, B.C.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. McCORMICK, GLADYS CECILIA - Gladys McCormick (nee Gauthier) passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a long struggle with cancer, she was in her 85th year. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late, Alexander and Maryann Gauthier. She is survived by her sons; Kevin, John and Paul, two brothers; George and Gerard, her grandson, Riley and her first cousin and close friend, Rev. Charles Goakery C.S.s.R., a priest in the Redemptorist Order working in Newfoundland. Besides her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Brien, her son, Brien Charles Jr., two brothers; Merlin and Frankie and one sister, Dora. Gladys, along with her husband, was a member of the Royal Kennebecasis Yacht Club of which she once held the distinction of being "Miss Yacht Club." She was also a member of the Catholic Women's League of St. Peter's Parish. An accomplished artist, she enjoyed many aspects of painting, sculpturing and fashion design, an overflow of her modeling career in Montreal and with Calps in Saint John. A lady of grace and poise, she will be fondly remembered and missed by many. WALLACE, BESSIE M. Peacefully at home, with her son and grandsons, Derek and Duane at her bedside, Bessie M. Wallace, wife of the late Fred A. Wallace, Burtts Corner, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007 in her 93rd year. She was born in Lr. Hainesville on Feb. 6, 1915 to the late John H. Brown and Alice (Billings) Brown. Bessie, along with her husband were two of the founding members of the Central Hainesville Cemetery Association of which she had the position of secretary-treasurer for 33 years. In their earlier years they operated Wallace's Canteen in Burtts Corner where she was famous for her doughnuts and variety of home-baked cookies and pies. She was the oldest member of the Burtts Corner Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Fred(erick) Wallace of Burtts Corner; a daughter-in-law, Joan Wallace, Fredericton; grandchildren, Derek Wallace, Duane Wallace both of Burtts Corner, Brian (Carol) Wallace, Brenda (Gregg) Wilson, Beth Wallace, all of Fredericton and Brent (Lisa) Wallace of Stittsville, ON; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Palmer of Millville and Marion Dillon of Burtts Corner; a brother, Allison (Doreen) Brown of Gatineau, QC; sister-in-law, Bertie Jewett of Burtts Corner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Il a été incinéré au crématorium de l'Alliance Funéraire du Royaume et les cendres seront déposées au columbarium Ste-Anne. Outre sa conjointe de vie Mme Réjeanne Grenon, le défunt laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Michel Boulay (Jacqueline Larouche), Gilles (Monique Tremblay), Guy (Francine Urbain), Francine (feu Jacques Tremblay), Pierre, Réjeanne, Bernard (Darlène Beaven), Sylvie (Dominique Beaulieu), Guylaine (Jean-Pierre Dufour), Johanne (Jean-Marc Goyette) et Luc (Sandra Bouchard). Il était le frère de: Léopold Boulay (feu Pâquerette Boivin), Jacqueline (Romuald Boulay), feu Lionel (feu Géraldine), Léonide (Bella Dufresne), Lawrence (Graziella Tapp), feu Armand (Lise Noël), Armande (Valmar Dufresne), Lorenzo (Marie-Reine Coton), Réjeanne (Jean-Louis Tapp), Réjean (Monique Marticot) et Reine-Aimée. Il laisse également dans deuil ses petits-enfants, ses arrière-petits-enfants ainsi que les membres de la famille Boivin et Grenon; de nombreux parents et ami(e)s, tout spécialement les enfants de sa conjointe, Daniel Tremblay (Carole Bergeron), Richard (Louise Bluteau), feu Raymond (Diane Lavoie). Pour les personnes désireuses d'offrir des dons, une personne bénévole de la Maison Notre-Dame du Saguenay, sera présente au salon afin de les recueillir. BIANCHI, Renato 1920 - 2007 À l'hôpital de Lachine, le 6 juillet 2007, est décédé M. Renato Bianchi, à l'âge de 87 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Margherita Cora, son frère Bruno, ses enfants Florent, Gabriel, Jean, Anita et ses petits-enfants: Guillaume, Rachel, Massimo et Daniele ainsi que d'autres parents et amis.
