CLEMENT, Richard Real - In loving memory of Richard Real Clement, 56 years, who passed away suddenly at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Center on Friday, March 9th, 2007. Richard was a loving and devoted husband and father. His family was his life. He was employed as a sheet metal worker with Semple-Gooder Roofing and Sheet Metal (Local 504) in Sudbury for 24 years, and retired in 2006 from Semple-Gooder Roofing and Sheet Metal (Local 30) in Toronto. He was an avid sportsman who loved hockey, fishing and especially spending time at his cottage “Bearsden“ checking out the night skies every night on Manitoulin Island. He coached in the Valley East Minor Hockey Association for 5 years. He also enjoyed long winter walks at the cottage with his beloved Bear and Rocky after which he would curl up in front of the cozy fire with Tigger, Minette and his wife. He is survived by his beloved wife and soul mate of 38 years, Debbie (nee Stinson), his devoted son Deni (Bonnie) of Ottawa, his loving daughter Tammi Todd (Grant) of Orillia and his brother Maurice (Ginette) of Toronto. He also leaves behind “My Three Boys“ who he adored and enjoyed so very much, grandsons Kody and Stephane of Ottawa, Taylor of Orillia, and granddaughter Danica (Paul) of Ottawa. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Patricia (Stinson) Hodkinson of Sudbury. He is predeceased by his mother Edna (Lalonde) Clement, his sister Lucille Legault (Bob) of Garson and sister Rita Bois (Marcel) of Ottawa. He will be sadly missed by very special friends Ole Liefso of Little Current and Marie Lariviere of Sudbury. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service will be held in Richard's honour on Thursday, March 15th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer, Ontario. SIGOUIN, EDNA (nee ASBRIDGE) - Edna passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital in her 75th year. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Paul of 44 years, children Catherine, John-Paul (Linda) and grandson Yannik. Edith M. Bishop Edith M. Bishop, 86 of the Dr. V.A. Snow Center, Hampton and formerly of McLaughlin Dr. Moncton passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 10, 2007. Born in Dover, she was the sixth child of the Late George Albert and Annie Maude( Doucett) Steeves. It was in Dover as a young woman that she would meet her future husband, William C. Bishop. She was devoted to him for sixty one years. Edith obtained her early education in Dover, and later Moncton where she graduated from Moncton High School. Following school she worked for General Motors, and subsequently the Moncton Board of School Trustees for 15 years, at first until her daughters were born. Eventually, she returned to the Board when her daughters were in middle school. Edith loved handiwork, she was an excellent seamstress and needle worker. As a young mother she sewed her daughters' clothes, knitted and crocheted. These interests continued through her retirement years as she knitted for her grandchildren, as well as made quilts. While Bill was alive, Edith enjoyed traveling, and attending N.B. county fairs. Later, she enjoyed floral shows, craft fairs, and especially the Rothesay quilt fairs. Edith was an avid reader and instilled a love of reading in her children and grandchildren. Edith spent most of her adult life in Moncton. All four of her sisters lived in the vicinity. Throughout her life she enjoyed many happy times with them and their extended families. She was a long time member of First United Baptist Church, and the Dr. Zella Clark missionary group. For several years, she was part of a birthday group with ladies from the church. The Christmas lunch was often at Edith's home. For a time she wondered if she would ever be a grandmother as her grandchildren were late in arriving. However, she delighted in them and was very proud of the young adults they have become. Edith endured many serious health problems in her later years yet faced these, as she did other problems throughout her life, with incredible inner strength and an unfailing positive attitude. Besides her parents, Edith was predeceased by her husband, Bill in 2002; and her sisters,, Mildred Dernier, Ruth Steeves, Jean Keith and Annie Maude Steeves. She is survived by her sister, Nellie Hains of Sackville, and; several nieces and nephews. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda and her husband, Gordon Mann of Rothesay and Patricia and her husband, Hans Deutschmann of Calgary. She is the cherished grandmother of Martha Mann of Halifax, NS, Michael and Andreas Deutschmann of Calgary, AB Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home 1657 Mountain Rd. Allan Melanson 1952 - 2007 Allan Melanson of Moncton, NB passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the age of 54 years. WEAVER, Ernest 1918-2007 Born in Picton, September 11th, 1918. Died peacefully Sunday March 11th, 2007 at Carlingview Manor, age 88. Predeceased by his mother Rose, his sister Helen, his brother George and beloved wife Nancy. Survived by a son Lance and his sister Kay. Ernest suffered from Alzheimers but succumbed to his second bout with cancer. Ernest was a second war Veteran, owned and operated Hunter's Meat Market in Mimico from 1951 until he retired in 1986. After retired he moved to Sarnia where he resided until January 2005. He then moved to Ottawa and resided at Carlingview Manor where he was known by everyone as "Mister Fantastic". Mr. Weaver did not want a funeral. Instead he wanted to be cremated and his ashes buried next to his wife Nancy. His wished will be carried out. OBITUARY JAMES (TERRY) EDWARD HADDOCK With great sadness the family of James (Terry) Edward Haddock announces his passing on March 8, 2007. Terry was predeceased by his parents Jack and Lucy, and his brothers Roy and Jack. A great and loving father to Terry Jr., Debbie, Katherine and John (Diane). A cherished grandfather to Joseph, Joshua, Mark and Matthew and his special angel Aimee. He will be sadly missed by his companion of many years Mary and his sister Doreen (Richard), his brother Art (Liz) and sister-in-laws Ruth and Molly. Nephews and nieces held a special place in Terry's heart. His many friends, close neighbours and business associates will hold his memory forever. Founder of Mr. Billiard International Inc. and the Canadian Open, he was also proudly involved in the International Snooker League (ISL) for many years. He loved his boat and genuinely enjoyed everyone that contributed to it's "great times". We all can certainly see him sitting at his picnic bench with his loyal Dog Dakota and undoubtedly the Executive Docks at Crates Marina will never be the same without Terry. Boating was a passion and one of his favorite past times along with piloting his plane and frequent travels to Great Britain. KRAJEWSKI, Edmund. November 20, 1922 - March 8, 2007. Edmund Krajewski, born in Rowne, Poland passed away peacefully in Whitby, Ontario. He was predeceased by his wife Aniela (Selwa) and brothers Kazimierz, Zdzislaw, and Henryk. He is survived by his children George (Pola), Cathy (Jerry), Ted (Joyce), his grandchildren Chris, Anita, Adam, Tania and Claire and his brother Leon in Poland. He lived through the invasion of Poland in 1939, imprisonment in Siberia in 1940, he escaped to Britain. Edmund served with the British Eighth Army during it's North African campaign. He also fought in the legendary Monte Cassino (Italy) battle where he was wounded. Edmund proudly wore his 10 medals to every Remembrance Day ceremony. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish in Montreal, 2550 Gascon Ave., Montreal, QC, H2K 2W6.
