Beloved husband of Florence, loving father of Ron, Chuck (Nancy), Margo (Dave), and beloved Papou of Eula (deceased), Lauren, Graham, Ian, Angelo and Christian. Predeceased by his sister and brothers Joe, Maria, Victor, John, Louis and Luciano. Angelo was the owner and partner, with his brother Louis, of Dundurn Central Supply. He was a founding member of the Bay Centre Social Club. Special thanks to family doctor, Dr. Jack Yeung, Dr. Graham Jones, 3V2 Clinic McMaster, and Dr. Pandith for his care at Joseph Brant Hospital. Jim Heudebourck It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Heudebourck on February 15, 2007. Jim was born March 24, 1948 in Bissett, MB. Most of his adult life was devoted to highway trucking from coast to coast in Canada and every state in the U.S.A. He also worked at diamond drilling for a number of years. He was predeceased by his father Harry and younger brother Terry. He leaves to mourn, his mother Mary and older brother Hugh (Butch), one daughter Deenah, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. After cremation, a short memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Community of Christ Church, 154 Pentland St. in East Kildonan. Lillian Ruth "Billie" Reynolds 1927-2007 EDGETT'S LANDING, NB - Lillian Ruth "Billie" Reynolds, 79, of Edgett's Landing passed away on February 19, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital. Lillian was born in Moncton on November 16, 1927, the daughter of the late Lloyd Hillman and Jennie (Berry) Hillman-Hayward. She was a teacher and in her later years she supply taught for many years. She was an active member of the St. Mary's Anglican Church and the ACW. She was also a member of the Edgett's Landing Women's Institute. She really enjoyed knitting, quilting and was interested in genealogy. If you needed anything Billie was the one to call, she was very involved in her church and her community, she was a very special lady who will always be remembered for her kind and generous ways. She will be deeply missed by her three sons, Rodney "Duff" Reynolds, John Reynolds, and Donn Reynolds (Wanda) all of the Hillsborough area; daughter-in-law, Dorothy "Dot" Reynolds of Edgett's Landing; sisters, Kay Milton (Darrel) of Edgett's Landing and Faye Hyslop (Allan) of Moncton; her grandchildren, Karla Reynolds, Blake Reynolds (Elizabeth), David Reynolds, Anita Wilson (David), Lewis Reynolds, Tanya Knowlton (Greg), Jamie Lee Steeves and step grandson, Jonathan Pollock; and by her precious seven great grandchildren. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Charles Damien Poirier (LeLievre) INVERNESS, NS - Charles Damien Poirier (LeLievre), 81, Inverness, passed away peacefully in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family, February 17, 2007. Born in Cap Rouge, Inverness Co., he was the son of the late Alcide Poirier and Marie (Bourgeois) (Poirier) LeLievre. Charlie worked for the Department of Public Works for the Town of Inverness and the Municipality of the County of Inverness until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the Inverness Volunteer Fire Department for 28 years and served as Chief from 1982-1984. He was a member of Stella Maris Parish in Inverness. A creative and reputable mechanic, Charlie spent many years in his spare time servicing engines and vehicles from stock cars to classics. Following his retirement, he enjoyed a full life of simple pleasures, the presence of God, and the company of his children, grandchildren, relatives and friends. He relished playing cards (beating the girls), old cars, sharing stories and helping others. AMOS, VILDA VIOLET CATHERINE The death of Vilda Violet Catherine Amos, age 102, of Doaktown, wife of the late Richard Amos, occurred on February 18, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on September 21, 1904, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Annie Amelia (Lyons) Clowater. Mrs. Amos was a member of St. Thomas United Church, Life Member of the United Church Women and a member of the Miramichi Friendship Club. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. SACRE, JEAN ELIZABETH - 74, Dartmouth (formerly of Edmundston, NB), passed away at home with her family by her side, Saturday, February 17, 2007. Born in Royalton, NB, she was the only daughter of Margaret Birnie. After raising her children, Jean pursued her life long passion to enter nursing and returned to school to become a CNA at the Halifax Infirmary Hospital. Following her retirement, she enjoyed countless days with family and friends at Bob and Jean's summer cottage in Point due Chene, New Brunswick. An avid supporter of her families sporting activities, she always knew the score. "Mom" will be forever in our hearts. MAGEE (WILSON), ALICE M. - With her family by her side, Mrs. Alice M. (Wilson) Magee, wife of the late Stanley A. Magee, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at her residence, The Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born in Digby, Nova Scotia on May 27, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Lucy B. (Ellis) and Samuel E. Wilson. Mrs. Magee was the last survivor of eight children. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Audrey (Eugene) Gould, Philip (Carolyn) Magee and Kathi (Grant) Kimball. Formerly of Orange St., Mrs. Magee had been a member of St. Andrew's and St. David's Church for over 34 years, being a member of the choir during that period and the Church Session and U.C.W. She had been involved with Meals on Wheels, Beta Sigma Phi, the Self Help Store, canvassing for the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation for a number of years and had volunteered at St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home before becoming a resident there four years ago. Alice will always be remembered for her sense of humour and love of laughter. In addition to her children she is survived by her grandsons, Christian and Aaron Gould, Corey Kimball and Eric and Gregory Magee, and great granddaughter, Sophie Gould. FOSTER, EASTMAN WATTERS - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 18, 2007, Mr. Eastman Watters Foster, husband of Mrs. Bertha Jean (MacDonald) Foster of Blacks Harbour NB. Born on Grand Manan Island NB, on March 26, 1926 he was a son of Prince and Fleda (Ingersoll) Foster. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother he is survived by his loving wife, Bertha; one son, Rev. Gary Foster of Waterloo, ON; two granddaughters, Jamie and Nicole Foster of Seeyles Cove; one brother, Edward (Marie) Tidd of Elliot Lake, ON; one sister, Marietta (Bud) Wormell of Blacks Harbour and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eastman was predeceased by one son, Maynard; one brother, Ellis Foster and one half brother, Sherwood Tidd. Prior to his retirement, Eastman worked with Connor's Bros. for 50 years. OGDEN, CORA ANNIE (PERRIN) - surrounded by her loving family the death of Cora Ogden, wife of the late Earl Ogden, of Hoyt, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on February 18, 2007. Born in Saint John on October 26, 1923 to the late Lester and Rita (Wheaton) Perrin. Cora was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital in the house cleaning department until her retirement in 1988. She attended worship services at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in both Saint John and Oromocto. Ethel Frances Brooks 1909 - 2007 Ethel Frances Brooks of Moncton, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 19th, 2007 at the age of 98 years. Born in Bruer Maine, USA on January 30th, 1909 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Rattie) Price. She was a former member of St. Pauls United Church, Riverview, NB. Ethel was a former Telephone Operator for NB Tel, a former owner of a local dairy bar in Campbellton, and a former receptionist working in switch board dept. of The Campbellton Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Ethel enjoyed knitting, needle pointl, and above all she loved her family. A loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother she will be missed by her sons, William E. (Cynthia) of Amherst, NS Rodney S. (Katherine) of Edmonton, AB, and Wayne A. (Aline) of Riverview; brother, Dougall Prince of Niagara Falls; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Brooks in 1962; daughter, Doris Dealy in 2003; sister, Elizabeth; brothers, James, Allan and Everette. VINCENT, MARY J.E. - Mary Josephine Elizabeth (Marshall) Vincent of Saint John, passed away Monday, February 19th, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born November 26th, 1922 in Marshalltown, Digby County, NS, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Geneva Marshall. Mary graduated from the Royal Victoria Hospital School of Nursing in Montreal, Public Health Diploma Program from Dalhousie University and the Administration Diploma Program from the University of Toronto. She was a public health nurse in Nova Scotia for 14 years and the last few years that she worked in Public Health she was a Supervisor in the Dartmouth office. Following her marriage to Albert Vincent in 1961 Mary resided in Saint John and she became Supervisor of Outpatients at the Saint John General Hospital. After her nursing career she became Administrator of Health and Welfare of the Atlantic Provinces Trowel Trades (bricklaying, tile setters, etc.). She also served as first Vice-President of the Saint John Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association. In the 1950's Mary developed Multiple Sclerosis and in spite of her decreasing mobility she always maintained a sense of humour, self-confidence and independence. She is survived by her husband, Albert Vincent; niece, Genevieve Keen (Robert Burke), Dartmouth, NS; nephews, Emerson Keen (Jacqueline), Stewiack, NS and Danny Vincent, Saint John; several great-nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sisters, Maude (infant) and Marjorie (Chester) Keen. Mary will be deeply missed by her family. Charles J."Chick" Ahern ROTHESAY, NB - The death of Charles John "Chick" Ahern of Rothesay, NB, husband of Lorette (LeBlanc) Ahern, occurred on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, NB on May 28, 1930, he was the son of the late Michael and Olivia (Doherty) Ahern. Mr. Ahern owned and operated Valley Mill Supply for many years before his retirement. He was a member of Riverside Golf and Country Club, the Knights of Columbus, Probus Club and was a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Saint John. Besides his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Joseph Ahern (Norma) of Moncton and Bernard Ahern (Corinne) of Olean, NY; several nieces and nephews. ST. PIERRE, Sr. Blanche G.S.I.C. Sister Blanche St. Pierre (Sr. Mary Blanche) A Grey Sister of the Immaculate Conception, Pembroke Ontario, died in Pembroke Ont., on the 18th day of February, 2007 in the 76th year of her Religious Life. Left to mourn are the members of her religious community, her sister Rachel Hund, her brother Marcel St. Pierre (Marie) Windsor Ont. as well as many devoted nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Joshua St. Pierre and Sarah Papineau her brothers, Paul, Clifford, Rene, Jim and Real and her sisters Lillian Rose, Beatrice Moreau, Lucy Evans and Janet Sharon. One of twelve children, Sister Blanche was born on May 20th, 1912, in Windsor, Ontario. She entered the Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception on June 19th, 1931. Her first assignment led her to the Convent of Mary Immaculate, Pembroke, where she served as Mistress of Boarders, and as Sacristan at St. Columbkille's Cathedral. Sister Blanche later served as sacristan in a Timmins Parish, at St. Patrick's Home in Ottawa and at the General Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, where she was also employed as Purchasing Agent. She ministered at the Sault General Hospital for a total of twenty-one years. Later on, during her active ministry, Sister Blanche served at the Motherhouse, and at Marianhill Residence, Pembroke, as Office Assistant. In 1985 she returned to Sault Ste. Marie, volunteering in several areas of the Hospital, including part-time receptionist. In 1987, Sister Blanche retired to the Motherhouse, Pembroke, continuing to assist with convent duties where needed. Due to age and failing health, she transferred to Shalom Residence on November 30th, 2004. Resting at the Sarah Centre, 700 Mackay Street, Pembroke, Ontario on Tuesday February 20, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Special Vespers in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Resurrection in the Marguerite Centre Chapel on Wednesday February 21, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke, Ontario. CUSHENAN, Sean Peacefully in hospital, after a short illness on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Age 75 years. Sean Colman Cushenan, beloved son of the late Hugh and Catherine Cushenan. Dear brother of Una (Francis) McNulty, Desmond (Marjorie), Angela (Frank) McElroy, Pauline (Peter) O'Hanlon, Kathleen (Joseph) Meehan and Fr. Jarlath Cushenan. Survived by a sister-in-law Leon Cushenan and by his nieces and nephews. Sean will be greatly missed by the Smith family and by his many friends and neighbours. Predeceased by sisters Maureen, Philomena and by brothers Hugh Patrick and Brendan.
