GREEN, BRUCE C. - Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday November 14th, 2005. He was born on December 15th, 1951 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Bruce was the son of the late Ivan J. and Roberta F. (Duval) Green. Bruce is survived by his wife Linda (Robichaud) Green; a son Carl (Aralee) Green of Digby, NS; a daughter Janice Green of St. Martins, a brother James (Lois) Green of Saint John, a grandson Zachary and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bruce loved to hunt, fish and snowmobile. Funeral arrangements for Bruce are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). A Memorial service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel" on Friday November 18th, 2005 at 11am with the Rev. Ian Harrison officiating. Donald G. Bryden ROTHESAY, NB - The death of Donald G. Bryden of Rothesay, N.B., husband of the late M. Pauline (Chapman) Bryden, occurred peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 15, 2005. Don was born in Little Shemogue, N.B., on February 3, 1930, a son of the late John and Kathleen (Campbell) Bryden, and spent his youth in the Bayfield, N.B. area. Don served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1948 until his retirement in 1968, with the rank of Warrant Officer. He resided in CFB Shilo, Manitoba, for 39 years where he and Pauline raised their family and were active members in several community groups. Don entered the automobile business in 1961, and for many years served as the General Sales Manager at Binkley Motors in Brandon, Manitoba. In 1987 he relocated to New Brunswick where he proudly owned and operated Brunswick Chrysler Plymouth Ltd. in Saint John. He was known for his tremendous dedication, work ethic, and generosity in all aspects of his career. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert. He is survived by one daughter, Donna Critchley (Allan) of Rothesay; five sons, Byron (Geraldine) of Quispamsis, N.B., Grant (Shannon) of Saskatoon, Randall (Linda) of Saskatoon, Richard (Olga) of Rothesay, and Robert (Mark) of Atlanta, GA.; four brothers, Ian of Nanaimo, B.C., Duncan (Vera) of Fredericton, John (Lorraine) of Bayfield, N.B., and Roderick (Sandy) of Ottawa; 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Don will be fondly remembered for his love of family, dignity, sense of humour, and kindness. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., Saint John, (506-634-1965) with visiting on Wednesday from 7 to 9. The remains will rest at Jones Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Port Elgin, N.B. WOODCOCK, HELEN EVELYN - On Monday, November 15, 2005, Helen Evelyn Woodcock, beloved wife of the Late Horace Woodcock, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in McGivney Junction, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary Adeline (Wallace) Fletcher. Dear mother of Linda (Stan) Clark, Louise (Norman) Ferron, Marilyn (Ken) Magee, Greg (Brenda), Marcus (Heidi), and Vanessa. Helen is also survived by her grandchildren Wyatt, Helen, Tyler, and Lisa, and by great grandchildren Kyle, Megan and Cody. Helen will also be sadly missed by her sister Bessie Sullivan as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and a very special person Linda Stewart. In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was predeceased by a daughter Karen; four brothers, Jack, Raymond, Warren, Melvin and two sisters, Esther and Annie. LOWELL -- Joseph A. "Tony" Gagnon, 65, a lifelong resident of Lowell's Pawtucketville section, who operated Gagnon's Hardware, a well-known hardware store in the city, died yesterday, Nov. 15, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Danielle C. (Dery) Gagnon, to whom he was married for 38 years.He was born in Lowell on Feb. 2, 1940, son of Lauretta (Gagnon) Gagnon of Lowell and the late Antonio J. Gagnon. He received his education from Lowell schools, and attended Sacred Heart Middle School in Andover. Mr. Gagnon served in the Army. He operated Gagnon's Hardware on University Avenue, a family owned business that was established for more than 60 years in Pawtucketville.He was a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish. He was a member of the D'Youville Men's Guild, and a former member of the Catholic Layman's Association, Richelieu Club and the CMAC.He enjoyed playing golf, watching the Red Sox and other New England sports teams.Besides his wife and mother, survivors include two daughters, Lisa M. Kelley of Lowell and Karen A. Labonte of Chelmsford; a son and daughter-in-law, David R. and Rene C. TUOHIMAA, Eeva Iines Elisa (nee Pilbacka) In loving memory of Eeva Iines Elisa Tuohimaa (nee Pilbacka), passed gently into eternal rest on Sunday, November 13th, 2005 at Finlandia Koti with her children by her side. Eeva was born in Saaksjarvi, Finland on February 28th, 1926, second youngest child of Liisa and Joeli Pilbacka, both predeceased. She was also predeceased by brother Reino Pilbacka (wife Siiri) in Finland and sister Aune Paajanen (Kalervo) in Sudbury. Survived by sister Helvi Alanen (husbands Arvi and Edvart both predeceased) in Finland, brother Uuno Pilbacka (wife Aino) and sister Sanni Lang (husband John predeceased) in Sudbury. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Beloved wife of Martti Tuohimaa (predeceased 1991). Loving mother of Kaija Parviainen (Heimo) and Timo Tuohimaa (Merja). Cherished grandmother of Aliisa and Marcus Perviainen and Tanya and Samantha Tuohimaa. Eeva and Martti left Finland in November 1953 with their two young children and made their home in Sudbury. Eeva helped build their homes and camps. She worked as a house cleaner and as a waitress/cleaner at Villa Loyola Retreat for 27 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking (pulla and rye bread), knitting and time at her camp. She was much-loved and respected, known for her wonderful sense of humour, her hugs and kisses and "You are so beautiful". Her hard work all her life helped strengthen her to fight so courageously the illnesses that beset her at the end of her life. She was happiest with her near and extended family around her. Eeva was an active member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She had received a medal from the Finnish Government for her efforts during World War II in support of the Finnish homeland. ALDERIC H. SABOURIN SOUTH BURLINGTON — Alderic H. Sabourin, 84, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2005. The son of Alfred and Olivine Sabourin, born in Canada and migrated with his family to Vermont, he was born Nov. 25, 1920, and grew up in the Winooski area. He served his country in World War II at an early age with the Big Red I Infantry Division from 1939 to 1944 — serving in the African European Theatre of Operations. He lived in New York City and graduated from Electronics and Barber School. In 1947, he married Marion Martel, who predeceased him. He returned to Vermont and worked as a barber for 37 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Stephen's Council, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Burlington, and was active in the senior center. At home, he was an avid gardener. He and his wife Dulcina enjoyed exercise and dining out and socializing with many friends and family. Alderic is survived by his wife, Dulcina Sabourin; and his four children, Daniel Sabourin and wife Deborah of Essex Junction, Elaine Reuschel and husband Wayne of Colchester, Corinne Sabourin of Essex Junction, and Tina Donovan and her husband Paul of Houston, Texas. He leaves four grandchildren, Joyce Desany, Gail Chagnon, and Matthew and Lisa Donovan. He is also survived by stepdaughters, Theresa Boudreau and Patricia Jones and her husband, Arthur. He also leaves grandchildren Stephanie Perrotte and her husband, David, Sandra Gauthier and her husband, Eric, and Susan Blair and her husband, Steve, Amy Storti and her husband, Jack, Kim Penserum, Ran Ann Dunican, and Chad Benoit. He also leaves many greatgrandchildren and nieces and nephews. He is survived by sisters, Rita Falcetti and husband Frank of South Hadley, Mass., Theresa Michini and husband Joe of Cummings, Ga., and Claire Carnevale of Jacksonville, Fla.; and brothers, Leon Sabourin and wife Marlene of Winooski, and Edgar Sabourin and wife Carol of Winooski. His sister, Evangeline Bacher; and his brothers, Edward, Leo, Hector, Paul, Joe, Homer, and Leonel, have predeceased him. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Nov. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winoo-ski. Members of the VFW will meet for services at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m., and the Knights of Columbus at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 160 Hinesburg Road, South Burlington. Interment will follow with full military honors in Resurrection Park Cemetery.

Bobby "Queenie" (Whitehead) Brazeau, of South Windsor, wife of Donald Brazeau, passed away Thursday (November 10, 2005) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Unadilla, GA, the daughter of the late Christopher Columbus Whitehead, Sr. and the late Jacie L. Brown, she had lived in East Hartford prior to moving to South Windsor 30 years ago. Queenie had worked as a fuel cell mechanic for UTC Power of South Windsor for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1998. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, South Windsor. Besides her husband, Donald, she leaves her sons, Craig Whitehead of Hartford and Julius Whitehead of Guilford; her brother Mitchell Whitehead of Hawkinsville, GA; two sisters, Annell McWhite and her husband Arthur of Bloomfield and Gracie Hyde and her husband Clarence of McDonough, GA; her grandson Jordan Whitehead and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Charles Reid McNeill TRURO, NS - Charles Reid McNeill, Truro, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2005 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born March 28, 1921 in Loganville, Pictou County, he was a son of the late William L. and Lena Rae (Reid) McNeill. He served with the Canadian Forces during the Second World War. He was employed for forty-two years in the soft drink industry in various locations throughout the Maritimes, retiring in 1986 as Vice President of Maritime Beverages Ltd. PAPPAS, PATRICIA ANN (PARE), 45, of Duffield Rd., passed away on Sunday at Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of David Pappas. Born on September 2, 1960 she was the daughter of Albert and Ann (Piccirilli) Pare. Mrs. Pappas was employed the The East Bay Mental Health Centers as an Assistant Programmer for over 10 years.She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church, a 1978 Graduate of the former Warren High School, a Graduate of Rhode Island College Class of 1983, a Cheerleading Coach and Cheer Coordinator of Bristol Pop Warner for over 10 years. Patricia was a wonderful wife and mother.Besides her husband of over 20 years and her parents, she is survived by a son Nicholas David Pappas of Bristol; a stepson, Matthew David Pappas of North Attleboro; a daughter, Alexandra Ann Pappas of Bristol; a stepdaughter, Melissa Pappas of North Providence; two sisters, Anne Delany of Cincinnatti and Michele Friberg of North Attleboro; two step-grandchildren, Adam and Emily Pappas; three nephews and a niece. Greg David Pellissier died in his home in Dallesport, WA on November 3, 2005. Greg was born on January 15, 1960 in La Grande, OR. His mother, Hazel (Riggs) Allegre, is retired and lives in Gresham, OR. His father, Robert J. Pellissier, of The Dalles, OR, preceded him in death. Greg is survived by his brother Mark Pellissier, The Dalles, OR, and sister Teresa Shirkey, Portland, OR, two children, Elisha and Oren Pellissier, who live with their mother Kathleen (Trevis) Schwarzer, Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts and many cousins, who Greg always enjoyed spending time with. Doreen Koehler 1963-2005 WINNIPEG, MB - Mary Doreen Koehler (nee Goldsworthy) passed peacefully away on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Riverview Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her loving husband, Tim and sons, Allan and Michael; mother and father, Allan and Selina; mother and father-in-law, Mary and Art; brother, Calvin (May); sister, Margaret Critchley (Dick) both of Winnipeg; brother, Sterling (Doreen) and sister, Ruby Locke (Keith), both of Moncton, NB; brother-in-law, Terry Koehler of Vancouver, BC, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Doreen was born September 29, 1963 in Moncton, NB. After graduation, she decided to spread her wings and seek adventure. She moved to Winnipeg where she met Tim the love of her life. A course at Herzing College led her into an exciting career in the medical field, first as office manager at Tuxedo Park Family Medical Centre and most recently Administrator of Charleswood Medical Clinic. It was at Charleswood Medical Clinic that Doreen found her true passion. Doreen was loving, kind, thoughtful and enthusiastic. This enthusiasm enabled her to accomplish things that others might not even attempt. Her love of fishing earned her two Master Angler awards. Both fish are proudly displayed on her rec room wall. Happy times were spent in the motorhome, camping and fishing in the Whiteshell with her three loves Tim, Allan and Michael. Many enjoyable evenings were spent with Ackland's Mixed Bowling League. Her friends at the Spike will miss her moving to the beat of her favorite dance music. The family would like to thank Dr. Joshua Shadd and the staff at Riverview Health Centre for the loving care given to her. CRAIG, Olive Mary Peacefully, in hospital, with her family at her side, on Saturday, November 12, 2005, in her 93rd year. She was born on August 18, 1913 to Holly Oliver and (William) James Wills of Ottawa. She married Lloyd George Craig on November 2, 1940 and they were happily married for 54 years before his death on January 17, 1995. Olive was the beloved mother of Bill Craig (Anne), Peg Craig, Holly Craig (Jerry Parker of Ann Arbor, Michigan) and Cora Lynn Craig (Steve Harris), and beloved grandmother of Marilyn Craig (Blair Colquhoun), Jane Craig (Gordon Burton) of Deep River, Jeff Craig (Amy Silverman) and the late Mark Craig. She was proud of her great-grandchildren Sarah and Rachel Colquhoun, and Meghan, Patrick, Emily and Korin Burton. She is survived by her dear sister Muriel (Tom Wright) of Cayucos, California, and was preceded in death by her sister the late Mavis Wills and brother James (Rhoda) Wills. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends and especially her "other sister", Margaret Wilson of Ottawa. Olive devoted her life to her family and her church. Prior to her marriage, she left school early to help her father so the family business could survive during the Great Depression. As a homemaker, she worked hard to make a comfortable home for her husband and children and together Olive and Lloyd denied themselves many things in order to support their children's educations. She was an accomplished needle worker and was making beautiful items to raise monies for charity right up until her death. All of those she loved have many handmade and beautiful knitted and crocheted items by which they will treasure her memory. She had been a member of Bell Street United Church throughout her life, and a member of the United Church Women for 75 years. A service to celebrate Olive's life will be held at Bell Street United Church, corner of Arlington and Bell on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall and then interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. He was an active member of Christ Church Cathedral for more than thirty years. Grace Adams MacDonald 1925-2005 Grace Adams MacDonald (nee Clasper) passed away at her home in Moncton on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at the age of 80 years. Loving wife of Angus MacDonald, Grace was a loving mother to Michael, Allan, Jane and Daniel and a loving grandmother to Scott, Ellen, Ian, Susan, Katherine, and Amy. She is also survived by four sisters Joan, Catherine, Maureen, Mabel; two brothers, George and John; sisters-in-law, Patricia and Mary; brothers-in-law Joseph, Jack, Daniel; and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Angus; her sisters, Betty and Nancy and by her brothers-in-law, Allan and Bernard. Born in South Shields, New Castle-upon-Tyne, England on April 8, 1925, she is the daughter of the late John and Jane Clasper. She arrived in Canada via Halifax as a war bride in 1946. A Veteran of the Second World War, she volunteered for active service as a WAFF in the RAF (Royal Air Force) at the young age of 17 in November of 1942 and saw active duty on various RAF and RCAF air bases throughout southern England until 1946. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, War Brides of Canada and the Air Force Veterans Club of Moncton having also served in executive positions. Grace enjoyed life as a homemaker and was very dedicated to her husband and family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who always maintained her wonderful sense of humor, respect and frankness for anyone she met. She particularly enjoyed the company of her many friends and was always there with a helping hand to support them. She made everyone who knew her feel loved and special; she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all. Very special thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Rejean Savoie and all of his associated staff at the Oncology Centre at Moncton's Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital for their superb professionalism, kindness and the continued solid loving attention they provided.
