Il y aura célébration de prières à 19h30. Les funérailles auront lieu au même endroit, le 17 novembre à 10h. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière des religieuses sur l'île Saint-Bernard, Châteauguay. PETRULLO, Dr. Charles “Chuck“ Louis - Peacefully on Saturday November 12, 2005 surrounded by his family, he was called to God in his 82nd year. Cherished and devoted husband for 55 years to Helen (nee Pancik). Loving father to Chuck (Carol), Marty (Penny), Cindy (John) Manningham, Tim Petrullo, and Helene (Pino) Carriero. Adored Papa and Gramps to John, Helen and Jeff Petrullo, Marty Robby (Bobby), and Marcy Petrullo, and Charley, Alex and Robert Carriero. Predeceased by his parents Sabato and Vincenzina Petrullo and his father and mother-in-law , John and Mary Pancik. Also predeceased by his siblings Mary (Mike) Carosella, Marie (Fred) Vasil and Katie (Miles) Agar. Loving brother to Irene Lindley. Loving brother-in-law to Mary Pauco. Charles served the community for 56 years as a dentist - a profession he truly loved. GIRARDOT FRANCIS (FRANK) ANTHONY -- Age 85 of West Bloomfield, died November 12, 2005. Beloved husband of Patricia. Father of Rosemary (Jeff) Walmsley and the late Michael Girardot. Grandfather of Kelly Day. Step-father of Gina (Neal) Murrin, Jackie (John) Skirvin, Charles (Kelly) Goodbody. The eldest of six children, he is survived by sister Mariane Moisan and Eileen Duffy. Born in Detroit and raised in Windsor, Frank served in WWII in the Royal Canadian Air Force and worked all his life as a professional engineer. Frank enjoyed friends, family and food, as well as golf, reading, crosswords and poker with the guys and gals at the senior centers of Waterford and West Bloomfield. Born in Sussex, NB, she was the daughter of Paul and Shirley (Friars) Norrad. Debbie was an employee of NBTel/Aliant for twenty-seven years. Besides her parents, she is survived by one sister, Tracy Perkins (Greg), two brothers, Daryl and Brad Norrad, all of Quispamsis; one nephew, Cody Perkins, two nieces, Delaney Perkins and Molly Norrad; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Gerry served in the Second World War as a PTE with the 14th Field Ambulance R.C.A.M.C. His most enjoyable times were at the cottage with family & friends. He is survived by daughters Sandra (Ron) Rain and Donna (Harold) Parker. Époux bien-aimé d'Anna Brazeau (née Ménard) de Field. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Gérald (Rhéa) de Chelmsford, Michel (Jeannette) de Sturgeon Falls , Yvon (Denise) de Sault Ste. Marie, Diane Brazeau (Jean-Paul) d'Ottawa, Françine Robert (Gilles) de North Bay, et Ginette Brazeau-Simard (Luc) de Cumberland. Prédécédé par sa fille, Marie et son fils, Jean. Lui survivent ses frères et soeurs, Roger (Simone) de Sturgeon Falls, Simone Descosteaux (feu Raymond) de River Valley, Alice Carré (feu Joseph), et Lionel (Rita) tous deux de Sturgeon Falls, ainsi que 13 petits-enfants et deux arrières-petits-enfants. Prédécédé par son frère, Lucien (Lucille) de Sturgeon Falls. Un contracteur forestier bien connu et respecté, M. Brazeau fut un travailleur acharné, un père dévoué à sa famille et un époux attentionné pendant 58 ans. Ses efforts ont beaucoup contribués à l'économie de la région de Field. Mr. Brazeau was a well respected business man in the Field area. In the wood and forest products industry, he sustained and contributed to the growth and economic development of his community. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He leaves a rich legacy of love and respect for his wife of 58 years, and he remains an example to be admired and followed by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. SACO - Theodore Ted Drouin, 71, a resident of Fairhaven Avenue, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 13, 2005, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, with family by his side, after a brave, strong and steadfast battle against cancer. Ted (known to many family and friends as Cookie) was born March 29, 1934 in Biddeford to Alma (LaBrecque) and Theodore Drouin, the renowned boxer known as Ted Kid Drew. Ted was an outstanding football player, graduated from Biddeford High School in 1952 and married his high-school sweetheart, Arlene Richard. Ted worked for Libby and Dow and served for many years as Director of Public Works in Biddeford under numerous mayors and councilmen until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed his cats and dogs, tanning on the beach by his home, baking cakes, building and remodeling his homes and entertaining friends and family. Ted enjoyed a good joke, had a hearty laugh and took great pleasure from life. He was wholeheartedly devoted to Arlene, his wife of 49 years, and shared many off-color laughs with his daughter Kim Drouin and his son-in-law, Jonathan Birnberg of Boston, Mass. In addition to his wife, daughter and son-in-law, Ted is survived by his sister, Claudette and her husband Bill Daniels ofValparaiso, Ind.; his cousin, Roland Regis and his wife, Margaret and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed the doting he received from his niece, Doreen DeNormandie-Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla., and his nephew, Bruce DeNormandie of Sterling, Va., and the many laughs he shared with friend Tom Fleurant and his wife Lorraine. He adored Becky Southwick and his adopted granddaughter Katie Lord and loved so many others, too numerous to mention. Visiting Hours will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, from Cote Funeral Home, corner of Beach and James St., Saco. Geneva Rudean Sanden was born June 1, 1927 in Mekinock, ND the daughter of Joseph and Bella Sanden. She was raised and educated in Grand Forks and attended Central High School. She married Harry N. Amiot on October 8, 1971. They lived in Grand Forks before moving to Springfield, MO in 1979. They returned to Grand Forks in 1983. Harry Amiot died March 18, 1984. Geneva moved to Springfield, MO in 1997. She also lived in Milton, FL before returning to Springfield. Geneva enjoyed music and dancing. She loved being around family and friends but most especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. MORRISON, George In loving memory of George Robert Morrison, who died on November 12, 2005 at the age of 85. He is survived by his loving wife Sally, his "favorite daughter" Heather, step-sons Ronald Degazio (Luella) and Marvin Degazio (Carrol). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Cellsa, Kendra, Ryan, Danika, Katrina, Tarra and four great grandchildren. George was predeceased by his father, Rev. Harry Lloyd Morrison, his mother Kathleen (Cowan), sister Louise and brother John. He is survived by brother Kenneth (Jean), nephews and nieces David Winch (Carleen), Peter Winch (Elli), Phil Winch and Michelle Winch (Isaac), Peggy Heller (Michael), Susan DiTomaso (Michael) and Tanya Morrison. George's first wife Verna (Hunt) died in 1971. With the active help of his daughter, he kept in touch with Verna's family connections - the Cruickshanks, the Watsons, the Burleys, the Morleys and the Hunts. He was a beloved uncle. George was a World War II veteran with four years' service. He graduated from the University of Toronto forestry course in 1948 and was employed by the Ontario government for two years in Sault Ste. Marie and seven in Burwash. In 1957 he joined the Woods Department of the KVP Company in Espanola where he worked for ten years, first as Woods Safety Supervisor and later as Extension Forester. In 1968 he switched to teaching, initially in Capreol then at the Espanola High School, retiring in 1982. During his lifetime he participated in a wide range of activities. While a member of the Espanola Lions Club, he served a year as president and four years as chair of the Nursing Home Visitation Committee. He was also chair of the Easter Seal Committee. In 1960-61 he was the president of the Community Chest of Espanola - a United Appeal organization. And for a number of years he was active in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 39 Committee for the Disabled. In his first year of retirement he produced a "Forestry Manual for Ontario Secondary School Teachers", a project sponsored by the Ontario Forestry Association. And in 1989 he completed a history of Espanola entitled "Espanola on the Spanish". Following cremation, there will be a visitation and memorial service on Wed. Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME, Espanola. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada, the Northern Cancer Research Foundation, or the charity of your choice. Arie Hakkert November 15, 1920 - November 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) HAKKERT, Arie - 84, East Chezzetcook, passed away suddenly Sunday, November 13, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. Arie was born November 15, 1920, in Leiden, Netherlands and was a son of the late Karel Adrianus Hakkert and Gijsje Hakkert-Janssen. Before emigrating to Canada in July, 1954, with his wife Anna and son, he served for several years in the Dutch Merchant Marine. He was a marine engineer by trade and retired from HMC Dockyard in 1990. He was a model airplane hobbyist and his talents led to assignments with the Nova Scotia International Tattoo for many years. During this time, he built several replicas of aircraft which were used as props in the Tattoo. He was also involved in the production of the Theodore Tugboat series, lending his craftsmanship to the special effects. In his retirement years, his attention to detail resulted in the crafting of many fine pieces of furniture, both miniature and full scale, which are treasured by family and friends. Wherever he went, he was always accompanied by one of his much-loved canine friends. Hardworking, stubborn, fiercely loyal, opinionated and feisty to the end, are qualities for which he will always be remembered. He is survived by son, Roeland and his wife Beth (Scott), Wilmot; daughter, Marianne Hakkert-Lebel and her husband Philippe Lebel, Hammonds Plains; granddaughters, Alison Hakkert, Cambridge; Natalie Hakkert (Matthew Robinson), Edmonton, Alta. He is also survived by one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews in the Netherlands. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Anna (2001); brothers, Cornelius and Karel. He is survived and will be sadly missed by three sons, Roland (Jeannette) and Jean (Louise Beaulieu), both of Dieppe and Guy (Debra) of Moncton; two daughters, JoAnn of Fredericton and Yvette of Saint John; three sisters, Colombe Babineau and Clémentine Richard, both of Moncton and Phyllis Léger of Aylmer, QC; two brothers, Léo (Mai) and Guy (Lina), both of Moncton; six grandchildren, Yves, Danielle, Pierre, Luc, Serge and François; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Richard was predeceased by his wife, Dorina in 1971 and also by one brother, Gérard. By personal request, there will be no visitation. Madge E. Lanoue, 87, of Claremont passed away November 12, 2005, at Claremont Care Center. She was born June 18, 1918, in Pomona, CA and had lived in La Verne before moving to Claremont in 1969. She graduated from Bonita High School, and received her Master's degree from La Verne College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Claremont. Madge was a home economics teacher for 40 years at Bonita High School. Mr. Andre D. Peltier, Sr. age 89, passed away on November 12, 2005 at his daughter and son-in-law's home in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was born on November 23, 1915 in St. James, Louisiana. While a long time resident of New Orleans and Chackbay, Louisiana. Mr. Peltier resided most recently in Slidell, Louisiana. A retired street car conductor and bus operator, Mr. Peltier worked for New Orleans Public Service Incorporated and The Regional Transit Authority for 35 years. Mr. Peltier served as a proud member of The United States Coast Guard during World War II. Throughout his life he was an avid sportsman and gardener. Mr. Peltier was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Agnes Richardson Peltier; his parents, Valcour Peltier and Aurelie Navarre Peltier; his brother, Antoine and sisters Antoinette Peltier, Helia Matherne, Hilda Scioneaux and Alvine Guidry. Mr. Peltier is survived by his children Joy Pellegrine Poulos and Andre Peltier, Jr., of Slidell, and Faye Peltier Teer of Harrisonburg, and their spouses John T. Poulos, Jr., Jeanne Dew Peltier, and Harold B. Teer, Jr. He is also survived by grandchildren Natalie Pellegrine CUlpeper, Jon Peltier, Lauri Pellegrine Riebow, and Marc Peltier; and is survived by nine great-grandchildren, eight nieces, and two nephews. Georgette M. (Tetreault) MacArthur, 83, of Manchester died November 13, 2005 at the Laurel Center in Bedford after a long illness. Born in Manchester on March 16, 1922, she was the daughter of Joseph and Salome (Malo) Tetreault. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. MacArthur in 1979 and by two children, Joseph MacArthur in 1990 and Maureen Allaire in 1997. The family includes seven children, Barbara Stacks of Florida, Sandra Descoteaux of Concord, Thomas Zinis of Suncook, Charlene Zinis and Gloria Crawford both of Manchester, Michael MacArthur of Peterborough and Arthur MacArthur of Manchester; 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. SLOSS, Willis John, June 17, 1960 - November 12, 2005 John Sloss, a resident of Perivale Rd. E., Spring Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at the age of 45 years. John was born at Mindemoya, son of the late Willis Everett and Betty (Bond) Sloss. John had worked for Purvis Brothers Fishery, and as a carpenter for Graham Construction, Sheppard Bros., and Bob Cranston. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, trapping and had been a guide for hunting, fishing, bear hunting and was also known as an expert moose caller. No matter what task John took on, he was accomplished at it. He enjoyed being with people and had good times when able to spend time with friends. John will be sadly missed by his family who he spent time with, teaching his knowledge of the outdoors, but many happy times will be cherished by all who knew him. Dearly loved husband of Connie Kiviaho; loved and loving father of Eli and Isaac at home and Allison Sloss of Kagawong.
