Trout: Erma Gwendolyn 1911 - 2005 Erma was born at Stettler, Alberta on June 1, 1911. She passed away in the Hanna Nursing Home on Saturday, October 8, 2005. She spent her early life in the Gopher Head - Springwater and Farrell Lake Districts. She married Frank Trout in 1929. In 1934, the family moved to the Puncke place - the site of the Old Stonelaw Post Office. She continued to live there until November 1995, when she moved to Manor #1 in Hanna. In February 2001, she moved to the Hanna Nursing Home where she resided until her passing. Erma's family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Nursing Home for the loving care shown to their mom. Erma is survived by her children Gwen Unsworth (Roy), Audrey Kingcott (Harold), Gloria and Bob Herzog, Glen and Wendy Trout, Tiny and Carl Nemetz, Betty and Robert Ridley, Faith and Ted Crowle, David and Barb Trout, Darrell and Connie Trout, Marilyn and Bob Muhlbeier, and Tim and Dixie Trout. She is survived by 48 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. Daughter-in-law Glenda Trout; sister Alberta Uttley (Stettler, AB); sister-in-law Bev Swaintston; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and their families. Erma was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1987; daughter Carolyn in 1991; sons Austin in 1993, Arthur in 1997, and Lyman in 2005; grandsons Blaine Trout in 1968, Gordon Ridley in 1986, and Gary Trout in 1997; her parents Dolly and Henry Swaintston; sister Merle Gamble; brothers Buster, Fred, Carl, and Glen; sons-in-law Roy Unsworth and Harold Kingcott; sister-in-law Vera Swaintston; and daughter-in-law Vicky Trout. Funeral services were held October 13, 2005 at the Delia Community Hall with Courtney-Winter's Funeral Home in charge. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Hanna Long Term Care, P.O. Hilaire J. Anctil -- February 27, 1918 - October 17, 2005 -- Hilaire J. "Eli" Anctil, 87, of Borden St., Fall River, died Monday, October 17, 2005 at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. He was the beloved husband of 64 years of Gertrude (Vautrin) Anctil. Born on February 27, 1918, in Fall River, he was a son of the late Ludger and Marie (Gauthier) Anctil. He was a lifelong resident of Fall River.Mr. Anctil worked for the former Firestone Company in Fall River for over 30 years. Following his retirement from Firestone, he worked in the housekeeping department at St. Anne’s Hospital for 7 years, retiring from there in 1980. He was a longtime communicant of St. Anne’s Church. He was a member of the Firestone Retirees Club. Mr. Anctil enjoyed dancing and walking around the area. He especially enjoyed trips to Foxwoods with his wife.In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Richard, of Somerset, and Denise Silvia, of Somerset, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Paul Anctil, and brother of the late Roger Anctil, and the late Dora Birkett, Doris Mercier, and Jeanne Anctil.His funeral will be Friday, October 21, 2005 at 9:00 am from the Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, 945 S. WESTPORT -- Pauline T. (Boucher) Pelletier, 71, of Westport died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at home after a brief illness. She was the wife of Pierre E. Pelletier Jr. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Eva (Labreque) Boucher. She lived in Westport since 1971. Previously, she lived in the New Bedford and Freetown areas. She was a communicant of St. George's Church. She was a waitress at Fernandes Supermarket until she retired in 1987. After her retirement, she did children's day care for several friends and neighbors. Mrs. Pelletier enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and baking. Survivors include her widower; two sons, Raymond R. Pelletier and his wife, Pamela, of York, Pa., and Peter J. Pelletier and his fiancee, Syndee, of Illinois; a daughter, Paulette E. Pelletier of Westport; a sister, Lorraine Richard of New Bedford; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur Boucher. Her memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. George's Church, Westport. Inurnment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. LEWISTON - Theresa B. Gilbert, 77, of 158 Russell St., and formerly of River Street, Lewiston, died Monday, Oct. 17, at Russell Park Rehabilitation and Living Center following a long illness.She was born in Auburn on July 20, 1928, the daughter of Isadore and Roseanna (Charest) Brillant, and had been a resident of this community all of her life.She married Leo Gilbert on May 8, 1948; he died on Dec. 16, 1995.She was employed as a nurse's aid for many years at Marcotte Home and d'Youville Pavilion. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.She enjoyed making fudge and candy. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is survived by one daughter, Monique Martin and her husband, Richard, of Lisbon Falls; one sister, Alice Albert of Sabattus; three grandchildren, Mona Parrish of Lisbon, Rick Martin of Wamego, Kan., and Jonica Martin of Turner; four great-grandchildren, Joshua and Zach Martin, both of Manhattan, Kan., and Andrew and Michael Parrish of Lisbon; and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by one sister, Juliette.

Daigle, Rita Marie A resident and native of Ponchatoula, she passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Ponchatoula. She was 82. She is survived by her sister, Florence Perkins, Baton Rouge; and three brothers, Odom Daigle, San Antonio, E.J. Daigle, Baton Rouge, and Elphege Daigle, Ponchatoula. She was preceded in death by her sister, Odette Braud. Gerald Alvin DelaBarre, 64, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away October 16, 2005. Born in Hebron, ND, he married Deanna Erhart in 1962 and was a devoted father of three children. He spent the majority of his years on the family farm outside Glen Ullin, ND. He enjoyed sharing with his family the experience of the ourdoors and wildlife. Jerry was an avid hunter with a marksman's eye and champion racer of snowmobiles. Ten years ago he retired to Phoenix. He spent his last few years in a courageous battle against cancer. Survivors include his daughters Rowene Sheen and Mae Greta DelaBarre; son Glenn DelaBarre and brothers Duane and Dennis DelaBarre. A funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale, AZ 85260 with visiation one hour prior to services. Richard N. Desmarais, Grand Isle, Vt., went to be with his father on October 12, 2005. He was born June 7, 1967, in Rhode Island, the son of Richard and Helen (Vanaui) Desmarais. He was married to Betty Tebeau on February 3, 1994, in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Betty; his mother, Helen Desautel; his brother, Robert Desmarais; his sister, Sherry Desmarais; and special nephews, Jamie and Timmy, all of Florida. He also leaves his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernard and Theresa Steady; his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and John Lawrence, Grand Isle; and many nieces and nephews. Rick's nephew, co-worker, fishing and hunting partner, Wade Lawrence, will surely miss him when these occasions come about. Rick graduated from Daytona Beach Community College with a degree in culinary arts and loved cooking. Rick was employed at Chef's Corners in Williston as a sous chef and loved his profession as he would change every recipe he used. His love for fishing came close to his love of his favorite football team, the New England Patriots. When there was a game on, no one had to ask where Rick was. He was glued to the TV. He will also be remembered for his deep love for animals and their care. AGAWAM - Alice M. (Francis) Goyette, 74, passed away on Friday October 14, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Joseph, a son Melvin and three brothers, Norman, Edward and Robert Francis. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Goyette, a granddaughter Stefanie Goyette, her brother Walter Francis and his wife Rosemary of Chicopee, and her in-laws Lorraine (Lucky) Francis of Southwick, Peggy Francis, Charles and Evelyn (Chin) Narcovich of Rhode Island, Donald and Barbara Goyette and Alfred (Mike) Goyette of Feeding Hills, Theresa DeGrandpre of Springfield and many nieces and nephews. Alice will always be remembered for her gentle nature and truly kind and beautiful soul. Our world is a little dimmer today, but the Lord has brought home a shining star. She was a caring soul who loved life and would always help people who were in need. She was active in Bible studies and enjoyed Polish music. Eja Marian Ruth Law (Galloway) LEBLANC December 30, 1920 - October 15, 2005 Born in Denver, Colorado on December 30, 1920 to Leslie J. Law and Mary Heffernan Law, Eja passed away on October 15, 2005. Wife of her adored George LeBlanc, mother of Sharon Galloway, Shirley Vitcovich (Terry), John Galloway and Jerry Galloway (Ann Adolphson), grandmother of Chase Crichton (Jeannette), Catrena Garces (Geno), Michael F. Reid, Leslie Lundberg (Thomas), Michael Vitcovich (Wendy) and Marina Galloway, and great-grandmother of Grant Crichton, Laurel Crichton, Amanda Vitcovich, Bryce Vitcovich, Lauren Lundberg and Lindsey Lundberg, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Galloway, and her granddaughter Lisa Vitcovich. Eja is also survived by her sisters Lois Stefurak and Dale Evans. Eja had a long, successful career at Boeing as a Spare Parts System Analyst, read extensively, golfed, painted both canvas and ceramics and was a fantastic cook and homemaker, but the constant focus of her life was her love and care of her husband, George, and all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Every iota of her being was constantly devoted to nurturing and supporting all of us. We are humbled and grateful to have shared in her life. Our purpose now is to continue her memory by emphasizing her wonderful qualities in our own lives: love, tenderness, acceptance, tolerance, understanding, devotion, sacrifice, open-mindedness and passion for progress. Eja's last wish always was that we continue to love and care for her beloved George in her stead, a wish that will be forever honored. A Private Memorial Service will be held in our homes. James Hebert "Butch" LeBlanc, Jr. -- June 4, 1941 - September 29, 2005 -- James Herbert "Butch" LeBlanc was born on June 4, 1941, in Beaumont, Texas and departed this life on Thursday, September 29, 2005 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Butch was the first of three children born to James H. "Bub" and Catherine LeBlanc. He grew up in a loving, religious home and attended school in Beaumont, Texas. After graduating from Hebert High School, Butch served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1964. He retired from Mobil Refinery. Everyone who encountered Butch, whether personally or professionally, felt the impact of his personality. He believed deeply in living a worthwhile life. Butch touched the lives of and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Catherine Landry LeBlanc; two sons, James H. CECILE (LUSSIER) UREWICZ -- August 17, 1914 - October 17, 2005 -- WINDHAM - Mrs. Cecile (Lussier) Urewicz wife of the late Alexander Urewicz of 14 Club Rd., Windham formerly of Versailles passed away Monday evening at St. Joseph Living Center. She was born in St. Hughes, PQ Canada, August 17, 1914 the daughter of David and Eugenie (Desautels) Lussier. Mrs. Urewicz had resided in Windham for the past three years, prior to that she was a long time resident of the Taftville and Versailles area. On December 28, 1935 in Sacred Heart Church Taftville she was united in marriage to Alexander Urewicz. He passed away March 9, 1984. Mrs. Urewicz had been a communicant of St. Joseph's Church Occum and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society. She is the last of her immediate family. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Helen M. (Nichols) Loiselle, 95, of 277 Front Street, died October 18, 2005 at the Elliot Hospital.She was born in Manchester on June 26, 1910, the daughter of Forest and Rose (Lefebvre) Nichols and had been a resident of the city for most of her life. She and her husband owned and operated Amoskeag Market for approximately 25 years until their retirement. She was a long-time parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. Edward H. Noel -- January 22, 1943 - October 18, 2005 -- Edward H. Noel age 62 of Woodland Road, North Smithfield died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. He had lived in North Smithfield for the past year and was previously a life long resident of Woonsocket where he was born on January 22,1943, a son of the late Edward and Louise (Godfrin) Noel. He was the former husband of Valerie J. (Marchand) Noel of Woonsocket. He had been a Draftsman for the Foxboro Company in Foxboro, MA for several years before retiring. Mr. Noel was a former member of the RI National Guard and a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Woonsocket. He leaves one son Edward G. Noel of Attleboro, MA and two daughters Melissa Masi of North Smithfield, RI and Jeniffer Costa of Tiverton, RI. One brother Andrew Noel of Gambrills, MD. Dorothy (Perry) Desmarais, 77, beloved wife of the late Roland R. Desmarais formerly of South Windsor, passed away on Tuesday, (October 18, 2005) in Middlebury. Dot was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Ernest and Isabelle (Williams) Perry. She was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy and St. Francis School of Nursing Class of 1950. She worked at St. Francis Hospital and local convalescent homes throughout her nursing career. Dot is survived by six children and eleven grandchildren; three sons, William and his wife, Pamela of Tolland, John of Coventry and Gary and his wife, Brenda of South Windsor; three daughters, Eileen Drain and her husband, Roger of Middlebury, Linda Trudnak and her husband, David of Enfield and Laurie Smith and her husband, Mark of South Windsor; eleven grandchildren, Brittany and Geoffrey Desmarais of Tolland, Angela Desmarais of Coventry, Amy and Michelle Desmarais of South Windsor, Ryan and Krista Drain of Middlebury, Christopher and Danielle Trudnak of Enfield and Matthew and Andrew Smith of South Windsor. Robarge, 50, of AuSable Street, Keeseville, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.He was born in Plattsburgh, Feb. 11, 1955, the son of William F. and Eva M. (Rock) Robarge.Doug was a 1974 graduate of AuSable Valley Central School.He worked for the Gerald B. Edwards Training Center in Keeseville for several years and was a member of the Keeseville Town Board for more than 20 years. Also, Doug and his brother Gene together owned and operated Riani's Market for several years until its close in 1988.He enjoyed painting, canoeing and fishing.Survivors include his three daughters, Whitney Robarge of Plattsburgh and Sara and Kael Robarge, both of Keeseville; his mother, Eva Robarge of Plattsburgh; his former wife, Beth Winter of Keeseville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, William Alan "Al" and Kathy Robarge of East Northport, Long Island and Gene Robarge of Keeseville; one nephew, Bryan Robarge and one niece, Emily Robarge, both of East Northport, Long Island.He was predeceased by his father, Oct. 31, 1988.Calling hours will be held Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. Leone Frances McLeod, 48, of Cloquet passed away unexpectedly at her home on Oct. 17, 2005. She was born on April 15, 1957 in Duluth to Joseph and Constance (Good) Seguin. Leone attended Denfeld High School and graduated from Cambridge High School and Fond du Lac Community College with a degree in Human Services. Leone celebrated over 25 years of sobriety with the support of AA. She loved fishing, gardening and her cats. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1994; daughter, Jessica Ann Goniea; and her parents. Leone is survived by her son, Aaron of Duluth; grandson, Rhys; twin brother, Leo Seguin; and other brothers and sisters, Corinne LaFave, Bruce Westerlund, Denny Melin, Harley Melin, Sherry Melin, and Shelley Hansen; many nieces and nephews. Lorraine M. "Lori" Carbonneau -- Professor Emeritus ECC North, School of Dental Hygiene died October 15, 2005, born October 24, 1940. Lori, a long time resident of Amherst, NY passed away Saturday surrounded by her friends and family at her home after a two year battle with cancer. The only daughter of the late Samuel Marty and the late Alice (Giroux) Steiner. Lori was born in Troy, NY. Graduated from Niagara Falls High School 1958, Erie Community College in 1960, University of Buffalo 1978, Masters Degree from University of Buffalo 1981. She began her career in a private dental office as a dental hygienist. For six years, she taught dental hygiene in the North Tonawanda public schools. Her career continued for 33 years, teaching at Erie Community College, North Campus. Throughout the years, she taught Head Start Programs and performed clinical practice at the Veteran's Hospital. Along with her husband Roger, Lori enjoyed traveling in the Caribbean. Her love of the Buffalo Bills inspired the name of her cat, Sport. She also enjoyed the company of the neighborhood dogs. Survivors include her husband of 15 years of marriage, Robert Carbonneau; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul and Cecile Carbonneau of Barre, VT; her cherished friends, Kay Mahoney, Vic Korta, Jackie Paterniti, Penny Wilson, Robin Anderson and Debbie Trzaska. A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October 22 at 11 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda, NY. She owned and operated J.J.'s Restaurant in Mechanic Falls for several years, before retiring in 1994 and moving to Florida. AVON PARK, FL— Armand “John” B. Therrien, 65, of Avon Park, Florida died Saturday, October 8th in his home after a brief illness. He leaves his wife, Linda (Bird) Therrien of Avon Park, Florida, his son Christopher J. Therrien of Holden and daughter Jennifer Therrien of Hot Springs, Arkansas, a brother Robert Therrien of Boston and Palm Beach, Florida and a sister, Geraldine Kaminski of Webster and two grandchildren. He was born in Webster and lived there most of his life until retiring to Avon Park, Florida six years ago. Mr. Therrien worked at Cranston Print Works in Webster and later at Norton Company-Saint Gobain in Worcester until his retirement. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid golfer and loved playing with his wife and many close friends. In addition he was Vice President of River Greens Men’s Association in Avon Park, FL. Helen Vandal -- December 03, 1907 - October 17, 2005 -- Helen Vandal age 97 formerly of Winter St. in Manville died Monday, October 17, 2005 in Hospice St. Antoine in North Smithfield. She was born in the Village of Manvile in Lincoln on December 3, 1907 the youngest of 17 children of the late Albert and Osina (Dubois) Vandal. She was a life long resident of Manvile and a communicant of St. James Church and a member of the Union of Prayer at the Church in Manville. She had been a weaver for the former Manville Jencks Mill for 22 years and later was a cook at the Holy Family rectory in Woonsocket for 14 years and a housekeeper for the Hospice St. Antoine in North Smithfield until she retired. She had been a member of the Manville and Albion Golden Agers. She was predeceased by 16 brothers and sisters. She leaves several nieces and nephews.Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 10 AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 71 Central St. in Manville followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. James Church, Division St. in Manville. Norman Gaston Grenier, 79, passed away on Oct. 15, 2005, at his home in Apple Valley.Norman was born June 2, 1926, in Waterville, Maine. He entered the U.S. Navy Sept. 6, 1944, and was a gunner’s mate on the ship USS St. Paul. Norman was a survivor of World War II and Pearl Harbor, and was honorably discharged June 22, 1946. He was the third generation from a family of floor-covering installers. After leaving the Navy, he installed floors for the family-owned business, Grenier Floor Covering, in Waterville, Maine, for many years. Norman married his childhood friend and sweetheart, Yvonne, on Feb. 8, 1947, and they stayed married for 58 wonderful years. The couple moved to Downey in 1952. Norman then joined the Floor Covering Local Union #1247 and was a union member until he retired in 1986. He was still a union member when he passed. Norman and his wife moved to Apple Valley in 1993 to be with their five children and great-grandchildren. He was a lifetime member and past commander of the American Legion Post 790 in West Covina, and he was also a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1944 in Hacienda Heights. Norman was a very warm, kind and loving person, always ready to help family, friends and even strangers. Everyone he met loved him dearly and always will. He will be missed by all who knew him.Norman is survived by his beloved wife of 58 wonderful years, Yvonne; brother Marcel Grenier and his wife, Cecile, of Maine; five children, Lewis Grenier and his wife, Terese; Paul Grenier and his wife, Charlene; Connie Williams and her husband, Jeff; Art Grenier and his wife, Michelle; and Diane McLean and her husband, Ken, all of Apple Valley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, who he loved with all his heart. A graveside memorial service is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Victor Valley Mortuary on 11th Street in Victorville. A reception will immediately follow at the Grenier residence, 23482 Guajome Road in Apple Valley. The family has expressed that the dress attire for the service be casual.

James Oliver Hebert, 68, of Beaumont, a loving father, grandfather and United States Army veteran, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2005. He was born January 16, 1937 in Beaumont, Texas. He was a long time realtor and once a pastor of Greater Little Zion Baptist Church. He was also an associate minister at Iconium Baptist Church where he attended church regularly with his many friends. Dad was a spiritual man who never met a person he would not stop and talk to. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Survivors include his sons, Clarence James Hebert and his wife Tina of Houston and James Hebert, Jr. and his wife; daughters, Lessie Nicole Gauthier and her husband Kevin and Shawn Kimberly Coward; and seven grandchildren. TRUDEL -- Dorothy (Dottie) Jones Trudel, 79, the last surviving child of Dorothy (Gallup) Jones and Dr. Samuel M. Jones, owner of the Jones division of the Arnold Print Works in North Adams between 1926 and 1942, died on Oct. 13, 2005, at her home in Coral Springs. The Arnold Print Works, which employed at one time over 3,000 workers and was one of the largest producers of printed fabric in the world, is now the home of Mass MoCA. Born in North Adams in 1925, Dottie grew up in the family home on Bulkley Street in Williamstown, graduated from Colby Junior College and was employed in the dean's office of Williams College. As a young woman she was an accomplished equestrian. In 1949 she married Albert Trudel of Claremont, N.H., and eventually settled in Glens Falls, N.Y. She and Al dearly loved raising five children. Among her many civic interests, Dottie was a past president of the Glens Falls Hospital Guild, and a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Church of the Messiah in Glens Falls. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Together with Al, they maintained their beautiful home and gardens at 278 Ridge St. as one of the city's showplaces. Their home was featured in city historic home tours. Upon Al's retirement from owning C.V. Peters men's clothing store, she and Al spent an increasing amount of time at their home Coral Springs, moving there full-time in 1990. Dottie loved the visits of her children and eleven grandchildren and enjoyed traveling with them on vacations. In Coral Springs, she continued her interest in service to the community by volunteering at Coral Springs Medical Center and helping to manage their local Thrift Shop. Dottie was predeceased by her husband Al in 2000. She is survived by her children Steven Trudel of Florence, Mass., Dorothy Lyn Trudel of Coral Springs, Fla., Samuel Trudel of Shoreham, Vt., David Trudel of Montgomery, Al., Susan Marton of Martinsville, N.J., niece Deborah Coyne of North Adams, nephews Jeffrey Clark of Nahand and Russell Clark of Worthington, and grandchildren Jason, Joseph and Alexis Cenami, Ryan and Alyssa Trudel, Timothy Trudel, Larra Wallace, and Jeremy, Emily, Samuel and Philip Marton. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Church of the Messiah in Glens Falls, N.Y. Memorial contributions to North Adams Hospital in Dottie's name are welcome. PORTLAND - Lawrence Albert "Larry" LaForge, 83, resident of Well-wood Road in Portland, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at St. Joseph's Manor in Portland. He was born Dec. 19, 1921, in Bangor, a son of Louis A. and Frances A. (Lowell) LaForge. He attended schools in Bangor and graduated from Bangor High School with the Class of 1939. After graduation he joined the Maine Army National Guard and left for Camp Blanding, Fla. in 1941 with the 152 Field Artillery Unit. He was transferred to 203 Field Artillery Headquarters in September 1944 and landed in France where he served with General George Patten's 3rd Army from France to Germany. During this time he was awarded the Bronze Star. After returning home from the service he was employed at New England Telephone Company where he worked for 38 years retiring as central office foreman. Larry married Patricia Millett June 10, 1946, at Saint Mary's Church in Bangor. They began their married life in Bangor, moved to Ellsworth and finally settled in Portland, residing there for 40 years. Larry's most cherished moments were spent at the family camp on Hermon Pond. After retirement, he and Pat spent summers at their cottage on Branch Lake. He enjoyed working with wood, generously giving many of his creations to others. He was always willing to give a helping hand. He had a quick wit and dry sense of humor, often playing harmless practical jokes. He was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, spending hours at Marden's in search of trinkets for them. He was a longtime communicant of St. Pius X Church of Portland. He was a life member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars and was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was predeceased by a brother, J. Willard LaForge; and his sisters, Margaret Brewer and Joanie Hershey. He is survived by his wife of 59 years; daughter, Nancy and her husband, Gene, of Portland; son, Michael and his wife, Heidi, of Hermon; a brother, John and his wife, Peggy, of South Harpswell and Florida; grandchildren, Chad Lewis of Bucksport, Stephanie Westbye of Washington, Justin LaForge of Liberty and Elsebeth LaForge of Bucksport; six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aaron and Alex Lewis, Sebastian, Noah and Josie LaForge; several cousins, nieces, nephews and a special cousin, Sr. Eleanor LaForge. At his request there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in St. Pius X Church, Ocean Avenue, Portland. Interment with military honors will be held 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, in the chapel at Maine Veterans' Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Maine Cancer Society, One Maine Street, Topsham, ME 04086 or to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, 22 Bramhall St., Portland, ME 04102. HOLLY HILL, Fla. -- Zoel LeBlanc, 85, of Moravia Avenue, Holly Hill, a native of Fitchburg, Mass., died Friday, Oct. 7, at his home. Mr. LeBlanc was an Army veteran of World War II. He served more than 38 months overseas and participated in all the major operations of the 37th division. He engaged in the bitter jungle campaigns of New Georgia and Bourgainville in the Solomons, in the initial assault on the enemy held beach at Lingayen Gulf, in the drive upon and ultimate liberation of Manila, and in the final elimination of the Japanese forces on Luzon in the actions near Baguio, Balete Pass and the Cagayan Valley. He received commendations for brave and fearless conduct above and beyond the call of duty.He was awarded the Bronze Star, and was injured by shrapnel in battle but did not seek the Purple Heart medal.Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn LeBlanc; three sons, Ross LeBlanc of Tuscumbia, Ala., Lenny LeBlanc of Florence, Ala., and Allen LeBlanc of Holly Hill; five sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.Published in the Sentinel & Enterprise on 10/19/2005.

Tatro, 83, of Rutland, died October 17, 2005, at Haven Health Care in Rutland.She was born in Bellows Falls, June 6, 1922, the daughter of Julius and Olive (Rockwell) Lemoine.She was married to Leondose Tatro who died in 1968.Mrs. Tatro enjoyed knitting and her grandchildren.Surviving are two daughters, Violetta Marie Goodrich and Shirley Crandall of Rutland; two sons, Lawrence Tatro of Florida and Daniel Tatro of West Rutland; two sisters, Irene Martin and Doris LeBlanc of Swanton; 11 grandchildren, Robin Newell, Shannon Gaulin, John Goodrich, Brian Washburn, Angela Sargood, Lucinda Martin, Christina Martin, Kim Vincent, Jesse Bergstrom, Kate Chandler and Lisa Chandler; and great-grandchildren, Samantha Newell, Tyler Goodrich, Lucas Newell, Reilly Gaulin, Kate Gaulin, Sydney Sovern, Phillip Martin, Justin Devenaw, Crystal Martin, Frank Martin, Nicholas Davis, Christopher Davis, Austin Brunelle and Chelsea.She was predeceased by three sisters and four brothers.Funeral services are pending for Thursday and will be published in Thursday's Rutland Herald.Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (today) at Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.

Marchand, Nancy Ann A registered nurse at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, she died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 50 and a native of Cottonport. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday, Oct. 19, after 10 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at noon, conducted by the Rev. Garland Mizell. Interment in St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery, Cottonport. Nancy is survived by her mother, Ana C. Marchand; five sisters, Ana Saucier, Sylvia Ponthier, Christina "Tina" Marchand, Linda Slater and Katherine "Kitty" Wascom; three brothers, Wayne, John "Tommy" and Arthur Marchand; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Acy Anthony Marchand. A graduate of Ministries Training Institute, she was a member of Bethany World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for disabled children. BAJA CALIFORNIA, Mexico - Eugene Joseph Simoneau II, 58, died unexpectedly on July 23, 2005 while in Mexico. He was born in Portland on Jan. 11, 1947, and attended Portland schools, graduating from Portland High School in 1964. While in high school he joined the Naval Reserve and upon graduating went into active service. Among various duties while in the Navy, Gene was stationed on the USS Fremont, the USS Coronado and was stationed in the Persian Gulf from 1983 through 1987 then taught communication service devices in Norfolk, Va., and Washington, D.C., until his retirement in 1992. His Navy career has given him the opportunity to see the world many times over and to indulge in his love for electronic technology. In Gene's younger days he was a very talented singer and guitarist. He was an avid cribbage player and a classic movie buff. He had a sharp and witty sense of humor. Upon retiring form the service he settled in Portland with his friends and family. After several years he moved to San Diego for the warmer weather and veteran's facilities. Gene resided at the Pickwick Hotel in San Diego for four and a half years. He made many good and kind friends, among them being Steve McHugh who became part of our extended family. Our thanks go out to those in San Diego who knew and cared for Gene so well. Eugene is predeceased by his father, Eugene Arthur, and mother, Elaine June (Farr) Simoneau. He is survived by two brothers, Arthur and Tracy of Saco; and two sisters, Renee Wright and Julia Ball of Portland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. SPRINGVALE - Lorraine T. Landry, 45, of Springvale, died Monday morning, Oct. 17, 2005 at Maine Medical Center following a courageous and inspiring battle with cancer. Lorraine was born on May 16, 1960 in Stoughton, Mass. She was the daughter of Lionel J. and Priscilla E. Bernier Williams. For 30 years Lorraine worked for Shaw's Supermarkets, slowly advancing from grocery bagger to office manager to warehouse auditor until she became too ill to work. Lorraine was a communicant of Holy Family Church of Sanford. With the loving support of her husband Lorraine often volunteered her time as a youth minister, and Eucharistic minister. Lorraine also volunteered at the local soup kitchen, the Lincoln school reading program, and Sanford High School's project graduation. She was always willing to help others in need; even in her own times of poor health her unselfish attitude inspired many. Lorraine loved her family greatly. Spending time with her children, and helping them to become the best they could be was very important to her. She enjoyed camping with her family, water-skiing, tubing, fishing, and the great outdoors. She traveled to Rome and Israel, and her many life experiences helped her throughout her own difficulties. Lorraine is survived by her parents, Lionel and Priscilla Williams of Sanford; her husband Jim Landry of Springvale; their children, Amanda of Farmington and Springvale, Peter of Springvale, and Curtis of Springvale. She is also survived by a sister Elaine Hartford of Sanford; three brothers, Raymond Williams of Kingsland, Ga., Roger Williams of Sanford, Danny Williams of Sanford, and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours for Lorraine will be held this Thursday, Oct. 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St. Sanford. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church in Sanford on Friday, Oct. 21. Committal services will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford. The Landry family would like to thank all those who have helped them through this difficult period, especially the medical staff of Maine Medical Center, and the faith community of Holy Family Parish.

Cole: Mabel (nee Morrison) 1925 - 2005 Mabel Cole (Morrison) passed away at the Drumheller Hospital on Friday, October 14, 2005. She was born on March 14, 1925 in Delia, Alberta to parents Jock and Nellie Morrison. At an early age the family moved to Morrin where Jock was a grain buyer with Pioneer Grain. Mum loved to play sports as a youngster. In the summer, during WWII, Mabel and her friend 'Stick', along with Betty Byer, played in the Morrin All-Girls Orchestra. They entertained at many of the local community dances, Mabel merrily banging on her drums. She first met the man who would become the love of her life, Bill Cole, at one of these dances in Orkney. While Bill was serving in the war, Mabel moved to Calgary, working for the Bank of Nova Scotia with her new found friend, Val Sanders. Mabel, Bill, Val and her husband Bob forged a friendship that lasted a lifetime.To this day, their children are great friends. Bill made an honest woman out of "Mibs" when they were married in a double ceremony with her sister Janet and Alfred Fiske in 1946. Mabel and Bill were true Stampeder football fans as they had season tickets from that day forward until Mum moved to Drumheller. Bill and Mabel were keenly involved in promoting the Calgary Stampede and served on many different Stampede committees. They had great fun while doing this as evidenced by their two baby boomer children born in mid°©April, obviously conceived during the 'Stampede Rush'. Mabel found her dream job as the Convention Counselor for the Calgary Tourist and Convention Association promoting the city she loved, all over North America. One of Mum's favorite duties was presenting the famous 'White Hat' awards to hundreds of dignitaries. During that time, Bill became partner in Jet-Away Tours, which specialized in charter flights to Hawaii. Bill and Mabel had fabulous memories of their many trips to Hawaii and 'paradise' will never be the same. Mum loved to curl and with her women's team won the Ladies Club Championship for 5 straight years at the Glencoe Club in Calgary then later teamed up with her son Greg, Mike Borwick and Mike Frolek to throw lead rocks for many years in the Farmers Bonspiel in Drumheller. Bill's retirement to the family farm in Orkney was sadly cut short. Greg took over the farm shortly after his father's passing. Judy followed a couple of years later and married Michael Borwick. Mum could not stand missing out on all the fun so followed her children and bought a house in Nacmine. She was not satisfied with just having a normal retirement, so she went on to pioneer the Bed and Breakfast industry in the Drumheller Valley. Besides opening her home to hundreds of families for over 10 years, Mum also volunteered on the Drumheller Stampede Board, Passion Play Board, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and she continued to make others happy until just a couple months ago with the Continuing Care at the hospital. Mum is survived by daughter Judy (Michael), son Greg (Maggie), grandchildren Spencer (Ria), Matthew and Holly, great granddaughter Sarah Jane, sisters Mary 'Bunty' Morrison, Janet Fiske, Edith Wise and brother Jack (Betty) Morrison, sister-in-law Kathleen Cole and her extended family Bev, Linda, Eileen, Debbie, Donna and Karen. Mabel was predeceased by her parents Jock and Nellie Morrison, her cherished husband Bill and best friends Bob and Val Sanders. Thank you to the wonderful Home Care staff, Dr. Graham and Dr. Racz, and especially the nursing staff of the Palliative Care room at the Drumheller Hospital. Timothy Bolduc, 36, of Londonderry, died Oct. 9, 2005. He was in the process of joining his comrades with the National Guard 197th Battalion to respond to the flooding in New Hampshire when he collapsed and died. Born in Nashua on Aug. 7, 1969, he was the son of Roger and Norma (Crosby) Bolduc. He and his family moved to Londonderry when he was 7 years old. He was a member of Londonderry High School's Class of 1988. A U.S. Army veteran, he served mostly in Germany and Louisiana. His most recent tour was in Iraq, where he served as sergeant with the 197th National Guard Unit. He completed his tour earlier this year. He had just started college at New Hampshire Community Technical College in Nashua. He was active in youth baseball and football. A memorable moment for him was hitting the game-winning home run in a youth league all-star game. His hobbies included photography, hiking, geocaching, visiting covered bridges, and collecting Hard Rock Café memorabilia. Jane (Bourque) McFarland, age 77, of Stamford, died Monday, October 10, 2005 in the Stamford Hospital. Jane was born in Indiana, Pa., and was a lifelong area resident. She was a retired teacher and administrator for the Stratford Public Schools. She also taught in Mt. Veron, N.Y. She was a graduate of the Indiana, Pa. University and received her Master's from Middlebury Vermont College. She was a past president of the A.A.T.F. and the A.C.T.F.L.C. She was awarded the Palmes Academic from the French Government. Jane was a professional writer and presenter. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Rink of Bridgeport, and Michele Jentzen and her husband, Ken, of Fairport, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Melissa Hughes and her husband, Andrew , Laura Stockham and her husband, Earl, Adela Rivera, Bert Rivera and Dan and Julie Jentzen; two great-grandchildren, Justin Guerrero and Aiden Stockham; and several nieces, nephews and friends. FALL RIVER -- Diana (Gagne) Benoit, 82, of Westport died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Cherie Benoit. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olida (Larouche) Gagne. She lived in Westport for many years and was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. Survivors include two brothers, Adrien Gagne of Palm Bay, Fla., and Ronald Gagne of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Olive Dolan, Rita Ferwerda and Cecile Match. Her burial was private. Arrangements are by Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.

BARBARA “BINKIE” ANN DUSSAULT (nee Kuehl) Barbara Ann Dussault, 70, of Lake Worth, FL, was surrounded and comforted by her loving family when she passed away Saturday, October 15, 2005 after surrendering her earthly body to be with the Lord. Born in Neenah, WI April 18, 1935, Barbara is the daughter of Tobe and Elsa Kuehl. Binkie moved to Florida as a teenager and was a graduate of Coral Gables High School. Binkie played both the tuba and the sax in the high school band. It was there that she met a "pest" of a trumplet player, Nelson Cameron Dussault, who would become her husband. Binkie had an interesting and exciting life that included working for the F.B.I. in Miami, FL. She taught swimming at the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables, and was a Coronet model before she was married. Binkie recently became a published short-story author in the 2005 Chicken Soup for the Soul Christmas Treasury. Binkie was predceeded in death by her parents Tobe and Elsa (Kalbskopf) Kuehl; her sister Gertrude Hilda (Kuehl) Erdman; brother-in-law Gordon Frederick Erdman; and her former husband Nelson Cameron Dussault. She is survived by her sister-in law Frances Josephine (Dussault) Schoenberger; daughters Trudy Cameron Dodson (Glenn); Carolyn Sue Morgan (Richard), her son, Jefforey Scott Dussault; three grandchildren: Aubrey Melinda Dodson, Michell Morgan Leonard (Daniel), and Jessica Sue Morgan, three great- grandchildren: Morgan Daniel Roland, Troy Daniel Leonard, Max Daniel Leonard; her niece and nephew Gwen and Gary Erdman along with many friends all of whom will miss her immensely. Binkie's friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service which will be held Saturday, October 22, 2005, 10:00am at Old Port Yacht Club, 116 Lakeshore Drive, North Palm Beach, Florida, 33408. DANIELSON - Heather M. Lefevre, 33, of West Palmer Street, Danielson, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on October 17. She leaves behind her husband, Scott Lefevre, son Gavin Larson and daughter Cassidy Joy Lefevre; a sister, Jennifer O'Connor of Brooklyn, NY; Aunts, Barbara Hawes, Bernadette Varr, Darlene Dell and Tessa VanLear; Uncles, Frederick Dragon, Clarence Dragon, George Dragon and Robin Dragon; many cousins and close friends. Heather was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Dragon; sister, Marilyn O'Connor of Danielson and Grandparents, Frederick W. Dragon Sr. and Annette Dragon.Heather fought each day to battle brain cancer. In the end, it was Heather who won the fight. A Celebration of Heather's Life will be held at the Rain Desert Café in Danielson beginning at 5:00PM on Friday, October 28.
