Elle laisse dans le deuil ses deux enfants Suzanne (André) et Gérald (Huguette), ses petits-enfants Marylène, Valérie, Christian, Geneviève, Philippe-André et Catherine, et de nombreux arrière-petits-enfants. LUMSDEN, Allan Thomas On October 12th, 2005, in his 86th year, following a brief hospitalization in Smiths Falls. Loving husband of the late Geraldine (Thomas). Cherished father of Sandra of North Vancouver. Much loved uncle of Lois McLenaghan (Deb) and very special "Grandpa" to the Wallace family. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by brothers and best friends Bob (June), Ottawa and Ross, Brockville, brother-in-law Tony Martin and sister-in-law Bubbins. Also by step-children Ken (Audrey) Thomas, Tottenham and Sharon (Bob) Dawe, Goderich and many nieces and nephews. Al was a WWII veteran who served in Italy and North West Europe. An active life time Legion member (where he carved many a turkey), a retired CPR yard master and most of all a kind hearted, good humoured, witty friend, always ready to lend a helping hand. McSEVENEY, Sarah Jane 1974 - 2005 It is with deepest sorrow and regret the family announces the passing of Sarah Jane McSeveney, aged 31. Sarah Jane's life was cut short at such an early age by a tragic car accident in Squamish, B.C., on October 5, 2005 returning from the library. Sarah graduated from Carleton University and Algonquin College. She was a wonderful person who loved life and had many friends who are mourning her loss. Sarah touched so many lives in the four years she lived in Squamish, where she worked as an Early Childhood Educator. She was active in her community and had many hobbies including rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking. She was also an animal lover and a environmentalist. Sarah was the beloved daughter of William and Jane McSeveney. Beloved sister and best friend of Jessica Erin. Cherished granddaughter of Thomasina and the late Robert McSeveney and the loving granddaughter of Rita and the late Leonard Verdon. Isabel was the much loved wife of Major General N. She was born in Pleasant Home, Manitoba and moved to Montreal, Quebec with her husband and family in 1967 where she led a life of loving devotion to them and her grandchildren. Her happiest times were spent getting together with her family and friends or helping raise the grandchildren that she cherished. She took pride in opening her home to others and making them feel special. OBITUARY JAMES H. COLLYER Slipped away in the early hours of Tuesday, October 4, 2005. Born in Lahore, India. He moved as a child with his family to Surrey, B.C. He won a scholarship to UBC but left to become an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy when war was declared. He served as a navigator and saw action in different theatres of war. Predeceased by his brother Donald, he will be sadly missed by his sister Peggy Kluckner of Vancouver. Married for fifty-nine years to his wife Eileen, he is also survived by his three children Christopher, Deborah, and Pamela, as well as his loving grandchildren, Jethro Bushenbaum, Skye and Alexandre Collyer, Lance and Dante Hadden. He had a rewarding career as a publisher and advertising executive. An accomplished artist, he expressed his creativity and love of the outdoors in his gardens, and through his many sculptures and paintings. He will be forever missed. A Memorial service for friends and family will take place at 2 p.m. October 22, 2005 at Holy Trinity Church, 12 Prefontaine West, Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. OBITUARY ANDRE GIBEAULT Passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 12, 2005 at the age of seventy-one years. Predeceased by brother Paul and daughter Evelyn. He will be sadly missed by daughters Irene, Ginette, Susan, grandson Nicholas, partner Denise, sister Lorraine, and his former wife Audrey. Andre was born in Verdun in 1933 and joined the Canadian Air Force at the age of 17, working as an electrician, and quickly achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. Andre, Audrey and their children lived in Germany, Toronto, Whitehorse, Senneterre, and St. Bruno during his career. After leaving the Forces, he enjoyed the position of civilian electrical designer for the Department of National Defense in St. Hubert. Andre always embraced an active life in the outdoors, enthusiastically taking part in cross country and alpine skiing, hiking, running, snowshoeing and cycling. Upon retirement, Andre moved to Morin Heights to pursue his love of the outdoors in this beautiful area. The family would like to thank the very kind staff at Manoir Pointe Bleu and Residence Desjardins for their exceptional caring and warmth. There will be a visitation at 7 p.m., Monday, October 17, 2005 followed by a memorial service at 8 pm, at Maison funeraire Trudel, 214 rue Principale, St. Sauveur des Monts. PARENTEAU, AMY (1913 - 2005) Passed away at the Roberta Place in Barrie, Ontario on Monday, October 10th, 2005. Amy Hall Parenteau (nee Williams) in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Edmund (Spud) Parenteau, she was pre-deceased by her first husband, Frank Foulis. Graduating in 1938 from Western Hospital in Toronto, Amy worked as a Red Cross nurse in Bracebridge and Dryden, Ontario. She spent her later years at Thunder Lake, Dryden and at Tarpon Springs and Titusville, Florida. She was pre-deceased in death by her parents Richard and Martha Muzetta Williams (nee Amy), her sister Helen Muzetta Harris, her niece Margaret Jean Robertson and step-daughters Leila Berrey and Del McDougald. She will be sadly missed by her nieces Anah E. Hunter of Barrie, Ontario, Mary I. Piette of Bainbridge Island, WA; E. Ruth English of Melrose, Ontario, step-daughter Tan Wigle of Vancouver, BC and step-son Mike Parenteau of Concord, NH. She was loved dearly by her many nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren - the Berreys, the McDougalds, the Wigles and the Parenteaus. SMITH, HELEN MARY Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Thursday October 13th, 2005. Helen Smith (nee Wynn) of Barrie in her 74th year was the beloved wife of John Smith (RCEME) of Barrie. Dear mother of Dwight & his wife Janet of Toronto, Kathy Thomas & her husband Robert of Barrie and Gail Smith & her partner Lenore Hitchon of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Nicole Smith and Stephanie & Meaghan Thomas. Also survived by sisters Dorothy Smith and Norma Harkness. Pre-deceased by brother Roderick & sisters Evelyn, Freda & Bertha. BARBE Gérald "Gerry" The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Friday October 14th, 2005 at the age of 66 years. Son of the late François and of the late Jeanne (née Pothier) Barbe. Beloved husband of Claire Barbe (née Renaud) of Sudbury. Following the passing of his mother which occurred when he was infant, he made his home with Gilbert and Maria St-Germain (Quesnel). Loving father of Michel of Sudbury and Diane Barbe (Denis Chiasson) of Ottawa. Dear brother of Fernand (Denise) of Hanmer, Gabriel (Lise) of St-Charles and Marcel St-Germain of Montréal. Predeceased by his brother Denis (Georgette of Sudbury). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Amy, Eric, François, Daniel and Mélanie. Mr. Barbe was a retired truck driver for Triple K. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., East (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, October 18th, 2005 at 10h30 a.m. in St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. SAATSI, Helli Maria (nee Viianen) In loving memory of Helli Maria Saatsi (nee Viianen), 84 years, who passed away Friday morning, October 14th, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved wife of 64 years of Alvi Saatsi of Sudbury. Loving mother of Aila (predeceased) and Arja (husband John Farquhar) of Sudbury. Proud grandmother of Taina and Kristiina (husband Jason Sutherland). Cherished great- grandmother of Matthew. Loving daughter of Johannes and Hilda (Pr nny) Viianen (both predeceased). Dear sister of Lauri (predeceased), Matti (predeceased) and Mirja. Loving aunt of several nephews and nieces in Finland and British Columbia. Helli was a faithful member of the Finnish Pentecostal Church and of the Finnish War Veterans Association. She loved to knit, crochet and bake. Helli's Pullaa was a favourite of her friends and family, it was the "best". She enjoyed looking after her African Violets and liked to sing. Funeral Service at the R. J. Lye, Darren James In loving memory of Darren James Lyle, 27 years, of Lively, who passed away Friday morning, October 14th, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Sudbury. Curly was a firefighter with the Sudbury Regional Fire Department, retiring after 32 years of service. Beloved husband of Betty (Coe) Lafrance of Sudbury. Loving father of Barry (friend Nicole) of Naughton, Diane Robinson and Lorie Brunelle (husband Ron) both of Sudbury, Allen (partner Lisa) of Toronto and Colleen McKinnon (husband Adam) of St. Charles. Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Will be missed by Candace Lafrance of Sioux Lookout. Predeceased by his parents Philorum and Médérise Lafrance, sisters Aurore Duchesne, Alice Bourgeois and Alma Grisé and brothers Romeo, Donat, Omer, Aurele, René, Raymond and Alcide. Fille de feu Pierre Séguin et feue Elizabeth Louiseize. Soeur de feu Paul, Edmond, Euclide, Elphège, René et Irène (Laplante). Elle s'est grandement dévouée envers sa communauté à titre de membre des Dames Auxiliaires des Chevaliers de Colomb - conseil 5005, Hanmer, des Filles d'Isabelle et des Dame Ste-Anne. Gince Latulipe, Alice 1927-2005 À Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, le 10 octobre 2005, à l’âge de 78 ans, est décédée Mme Alice Gince Latulipe, épouse de M. Emery Latulipe, résidant à Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Jacques (Monique), Ginette (Denis) et Michel (Johane), ses petits-enfants, Martin, Maxime, Vanessa et Stéphanie, ses deux frères, Lucien et Yvon, ainsi que ses beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, neveux, nièces, parents et amis.
