OBITUARY DOLORES DIANE (DEE-DEE) HAYWARD NEE CHADWICK January 25, 1939 to October 7, 2005. Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2005 at her home that she loved so much. She Designed, Developed and worked so hard on her "Palace in the Mountains" where she was completely happy. She saw only beauty in Nature, flowers, plants, animals and only Goodness in Mankind. She was gentle, compassionate, a loving class lady, adored by all who came in contact with her. She is remembered fondly by her cousin Brian of New York and Lynn of Dorval, Quebec. She leaves to mourn Cliff, her husband, lover, and constant companion of thirty-six years. The emptiness she leaves is of unexplainable proportion and will never be filled. She faced her battle with cancer with magnificent fortitude, positive and courageous throughout, to the admiration of her husband and friends who witnessed her resolve. BIRD, Jack L., After fighting the battle of many illnesses, our loving husband, father and grandfather will be missed more than words can say. On Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, Jack died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. At 69 years of age he held on for as long as he could and now will never be in pain again. Jack will be sadly missed by his wife Mary (nee Robertson) for 49 years. Judith 'Judy' Beck, 58, of E. Nemadji Loop Rd. died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, from complications due to A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's Disease), surrounded by her family. Judy was born in Duluth on Nov. 15, 1946 to Eugene M. and Dorothy (Olson) Bouchard. She was a 1964 graduate from East High School and married Bill Beck on Aug. 7, 1965 at St. Michael's Church and they moved to Superior in 1980. Judy was a former member of St. Michael's Church and she loved to craft, rose mauling, quilting, collect cats, but most of all spending time with her family and her children. Judy had a contagious laugh and everyone she met became her friend. Judy is survived by her husband, Bill; her son, Bill (Belinda); and her daughter, Tricia (Scott) Swanson all of Superior; her mother, Dorothy Bouchard of Duluth; her sister, Debbie 'Seester' (Roy) Bulloch of Superior and many grandcats. ORLANDO, Fla. - Robert E. Comeau, 58, formerly of Maine and New Jersey passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2005. He was born on March 9, 1947 in Kearny, N.J., the son of Joseph and Margaret (Wylie) Comeau. Bob attended Kearny High School and later went on to obtain his Bachelors degree from Livingston College and his Masters from the University of Connecticut. Bob served his country in the United States Navy as a Corpman during Vietnam. He was previously employed as a social worker with Tri-County Health in Bridgton. One of Bob’s greatest joys was playing the bagpipes with his many friends through the years, most recently with the Kora Shrine Highlanders in Lewiston. Bob was also a member of the Oriental Masonic Lodge in Bridgton. Bob was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Geraldine Comeau of New Jersey, sisters Carol Comeau of New Jersey, Elizabeth Minor of New Jersey, Kathleen Comeau of Arizona, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 5pm at the Black Watch Restaurant on Court Street in Auburn.

LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro for John Norbert Conque, 67, who passed away at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at Doctor's Hospital in Opelousas.Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro.The Rev. Bill Melancon, pastor of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.Musical selections will be provided by Charlotte Jopling, accompanied by Phyllis Simar on the organ. He was a parishioner of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro and was a member of the Bonne Mort Society. He was a graduate of The Cathedral Carmel High School in 1957. He was a businessman all of his life and for 22 years, at Guaranty Bank in Lafayette, was vice president and a commercial loan officer. Mr. Conque was also an entrepreneur and owned many businesses in Lafayette. He was on the Lafayette Planning and Zoning Commission and developed many subdivisions in the Lafayette and Carencro area. He was a member of the Hub-City Kiwanis Club and served as president in 1971, Carencro Sertomma Club, Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Acadiana Home Builders Association, Cathedral Alumni Association and U.S.L. Alumni.After graduating from the University of Southwestern Louisiana he served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Norbert was dearly loved by his family and friends. He was an honest businessman and trusted by many, but loved for his humor and wit. PORTLAND - Fernand R. Domingue, 82, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Maine Medical Center.He was born to Evangeline and Evariste Domingue on Oct. 8, 1923, in Lewiston.On Sept. 14, 1946, he married Muriel Beaulieu; she passed away in 1997.He was a proud World War II veteran, having served his country in the 390th Battalion as a corporal. He was a member of the American Legion Post 153 in New Auburn.He worked as a mechanic in local automotive dealerships: Flock Buick, Pontiac Center and Louis Chevrolet, until his retirement in 1998.He lived in Masardis with his daughter and her husband, and will be sadly missed by his feline companion, Bandit.He is survived by his daughters, Noella Craig and her husband, John, of Masardis, and Nancy Fournier and husband, Michael, of Lewiston; granddaughters, Tracy Goulet of Auburn, and Tricia Sierra and husband, Valentin, of Lewiston; grandsons, Jacob, Ryan, Chad and Shawn Fournier of Lewiston, and John E. LEWISTON - Marie C. Dumond Theriault, 81, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 11, at d'Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.She was born on Sept. 27, 1924, in Fort Kent, a daughter of Felix and Flevie (Saucier) Dumond. Following her graduation from Fort Kent High School, she lived in Connecticut for several years before settling in Lewiston.She worked at Raytheon's in the quality assurance division, and in later years enjoyed working seasonally at Black Point Inn in Scarborough and Hillsboro Club in Pompano Beach, Fla.She loved traveling and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid bowler and liked to dance and play cards. She enjoyed the outdoors - taking long walks on the beach or working in her yard and garden.She is survived by her sons, Edward and his wife, Janet, of Auburn, and Bradley and his wife, Karen, of Green Valley Lake, Calif.; grandchildren, Amy and her husband, Fermin Vega, of Loma Linda, Calif., Kyle, also of Loma Linda, Calif., Nathan and his wife, Shannon Smith, of Rochester, N.Y., and Zoë of Auburn; sisters, Emily Ouellette of Lewiston and Cecile Doustou of Fort Kent; one brother, Pat and his wife, Theresa, of Waterville; and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Heather; three sisters; and three brothers.

Jeannette (Goudreau) D'Arcy, age 80, beloved wife of William J. D'Arcy, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Stratford, the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Poissant) Goudreau. Jeannette was a lifelong Stratford resident and proud graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1942 and a graduate of Booth and Bayliss Secretarial School. She was a homemaker who raised three children. An active member of St. Mark's Church, she volunteered in many local activities. She was a volunteer at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home and the Bridgeport Hospital Auxiliary and a member of St. James Guild and a former longtime member of Brooklawn Country Club. For the past two and one half years, Jeannette had resided in St. Joseph's Manor in Trumbull, where she was treated with love and dignity while receiving outstanding care. In addition to her husband Bill, her husband of 60 years, she is survived by two daughters and a son, Barbara Kiernan and her husband, Jeffrey, of Bridgeport, Robert D'Arcy of San Francisco, Calif. and Kathy D'Arcy of Alexandria, Va. She leaves seven grandchildren whom she loved and enjoyed, Sean, Brendan, Timothy, Randy and Christopher Kiernan and Kevyn and Keara D'Arcy; two great-grandchildren, Sean Robert and Chloe Rose Kiernan; two sisters, Edna Lurix of Venice, Fla. and Rita Collings of Southington whose unflagging devotion these last few years had been a source of great comfort; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn D'Arcy of Hanover, N.H. Jeannette was predeceased by her sister, Elsye Roberts of Venice, Fla.; a brother Norman Goudreau of Ocala, Fla.; and her dear friend, Genevieve Roberge. MADISON, Ala. -- Pastor Robert "Bob" Guay, 62, of Madison, son of the late Robert M. Guay and Marjorie Guay, died on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005.Pastor Robert Guay, beloved husband, father, grandfather and pastor, was born on Aug. 28, 1943, in Gardiner, Maine.He served his country in the Marine Corps from 1966 to 1972. Pastor Bob dedicated his life to service to the Lord and pioneered Restoration Foursquare Church in Madison in 1988. He served as district supervisor for the Gulf Atlantic District of Foursquare Churches for the past two years. On Sept. 21, he laid down his burdens and moved into the arms of the Lord. Alice Mary (Laurendeau) Martinelli, 81, of Bristol, beloved wife of the late Martin Martinelli, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, (October 12, 2005) surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born on January 22, 1924 in Bristol a daughter of the late Emile and Cecilia (Emond) Laurendeau. She was a life long resident of Bristol and parishioner of the Church of St. Matthew. Her life was centered on her family and friends, whom she filled with love and good food. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, memere, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. Her finest moments were those shared with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchild, brothers and sisters, as well as her extended and always close family of nieces and nephew. NORWAY - Francis L. Marcotte, 86, of Norway, died Thursday, Oct. 13, at his home.He was born in Oxford on Oct. 17, 1918, the son of Leon T. and Ethel Woodman Marcotte. Educated in Oxford schools, he worked in several local factories until 1940 when he went to work at the shipyard in South Portland as a leadsman in the paint department.In May 1942, he joined the U.S. Army. On July 30, 1942, he married the former Eleanor Rich of Norway. While in the Army, he served in the Eighth, 20th and 16th armored divisions in the U.S. and Europe. He was a master sergeant in the 18th Armored Infantry Battalion, 16th Armored Division, which was the first to spearhead into Czechoslovakia.After his discharge in 1945, he went to work for Central Maine Power Co., as a lineman first class, retiring in 1978.He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He was a more than 50-year member of the Anderson Staples American Legion Post in Oxford, a life member of the Floyd Harlow V.F.W. in South Paris, a 50-year member of the Oxford Lodge 18 AF & AM, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Kora Temple Shrine.He is survived by a son, Thomas J. Marcotte and his wife, Joan; a grandson, Thomas A. Marcotte and his wife, Stephanie, and their children Benjamin and Quintessa; a granddaughter, Tracy Ludwig and her husband, Steve, and their children, Devin and Cailyn; a brother, Lewis Marcotte; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Waterville on April 21, 1932, a son of the late Joseph A. and Rosa D. BANGOR - Angelo Morneault, 89, former St. John Valley businessman died Oct. 12, 2005, at a local hospital after a long illness. He was born May 24, 1916, in Lille, the son of Henry and Louise Thibodeau Morneault. In 1944, he organized Van Buren Motors and in 1947, he organized Acadia Motors in Madawaska and operated both dealerships. He was a former director of the Maine Automobile Dealers Association. In Van Buren he served as chairman of Van Buren Light and Power, a member of the school board, and president of the Van Buren Rotary Club. For 15 years he was director of Aroostook County Federal Savings and Loan Association. He was manger of Aroostook Trust Company of Madawaska, and chairman of the Maine Automobile Dealers Registration Board. He was a 60-year member of the Knights of Columbus, member of the Pine Cone General Assembly and former member of the Van Buren Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased by his first wife, Emilia Cyr Morneault in 1959. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Fern Pelletier Morneault; one son, Henry and wife, Patti, of McLean, Va.; three grandchildren, Gregory, Jeffery, and Katie; a stepdaughter, Virginia Vanier of Bangor; and three stepgrandchildren, Aimee Corbin and husband, Jeffery, of Madawaska, Adam Coltart and wife, Shellie, of Levant, and Alexander Coltart of Bangor; three great-stepgrand-children, Lance Corbin, Mack-enzie and Aliah Coltart. He is also survived by four brothers, Camille of Windham, Leo of Las Vegas, Nev., James of Manchester, Conn., and Louie of Scarborough; three sisters, Bertha Daigle of Valrico, Fla., Annette of Broad Brook, Conn., Jeanine of Hartford, Conn. He was predeceased by three brothers, Adrian, Patrick, and Emilien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17 at St. John's Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until time of service, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. Knights of Columbus Prayer service will be 7 p.m. Sunday. Jocelyn May LeBrun -- Of Andover, formerly of Knokke-Heist, Belgium, and formerly of Concord, MA, age 98, died October 10, 2005. Originally of London, England, married Georges LeBrun of Belgium in 1930, an artist, (painter). She was herself a sculptor, widowed in 1970. Looked after her mother, Sybil Perry in Concord from 1978 to 1988. Sister of Barbara Chermayeff of Wellfleet, MA, formerly of Cambridge and New Haven, CT, deceased in 1995. Survived by her nephew Peter Chermayeff of Andover, and nephew Ivan Chermayeff of New York, and their respective wives, six children, eight grandchildren, and many cousins in the UK. Evelyn V. Boisvert, 79, of Manchester, died October 13, 2005, at her daughters house, surrounded by her family. She was born February 7, 1926, and was the daughter of Austin and Cora (Gagnon) Richards. She had been a member of St. Raphael Church. She enjoyed bowling, and any time spent at the beach. Evelyn had a soft heart for Gods four legged creatures. Over the years she managed to take in several cats, dogs, even squirrels. She loved to laugh in the company of her family, friends and neighbors. Evelyn was always ready to have fun, her love for her children, and grand children was constant. She will be missed. She was pre-deceased by a brother Francis J. Richards in 1993, and a sister Eileen M. Pollock in May of this year. Ruby Pharris LeBlanc, 88, devoted wife and mother passed away September 22, 2005. After suffering a major stroke in March of 2003, she maintained a cheerful attitude and a joyful spirit while struggling to recuperate. Ruby was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 16, 1917 to James and Mary Weyler. Her family moved to Beaumont in 1927 where she has lived most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as two sisters Mamie Weyler Heartfield, Evelyn Weyler Brammer, a brother Charles Caswell, her first husband Taft Pharris, oldest son Robert "Bobby" Pharris and her second husband Erwin LeBlanc. Ruby is survived by her brother, Paul Weyler of Kountze; sisters, Eva Terrill of Port Arthur and June Herrmann of California; son, John Pharris of China; daughter-in-law, Patsy Pharris of Louisiana, Judy and James Johnson of North Carolina, Sylvia and Larry Jackson of Maryland, Cathy and John Godeaux of Garland, Martha and Frank Farnie of Beaumont; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A wake will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 14, 2005 at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at St. Pius X Catholic Church followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard's, North Major Drive.
