EPPING — Rose A. Dionne, 91, longtime Epping resident, died Oct. 11, 2005, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, where she had resided for the past eight years.Born Jan. 29, 1914, in Newmarket, the daughter of Israel and Sarah (Cyr) Demers, she had lived on St. Laurent St., Epping for 45 years. In 1980, she moved to Newmarket, where she resided for several years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping. She is predeceased by her husband, Gerard S. Dionne, who died in 1976.Survivors include, two sons, G. Nelson Dionne of Hudson, and Jerry S. Dionne of Derry; five grandchildren, David Dionne of Thornton, Michael Dionne of Nashua, Lisa Yorke of Lincoln, Vt., Natalie Dionne and Sarah Dionne, both of Manchester; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Demers of Newmarket; two sisters, Bertha Pelletier of Newmarket and Peggy Levesque of Brentwood.She was predeceased by her sisters, Irene Valliere, Mabel Lord, Alice Fieldsend, Eva Plourde and Blanche Dube and her brothers, Wilfred Demers and Raymond Demers.Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 14 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter St., Newmarket, followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Epping.In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, memorials may be made to Rockingham County Nursing Home Activity Fund, 117 North Road, Brentwood, NH 03833.

Merla Yvonne Ayer 1944-2005 Sackville, N.B. - The death of Merla Y. Ayer, age 60, of Sackville, N.B. occurred on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on October 13, 1944 in Sackville, N.B., she was the daughter of Robert "Bud" Doherty of Sackville, N.B. and the late Yvonne (Phinney) Doherty. Merla was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church and was a former assistant leader of the Silver Lake 4-H Beef Club. She will be greatly missed by her father, Robert "Bud" Doherty of Sackville, N.B.; her brother, Bruce Doherty of Moncton, N.B.; her son, Jeff (Wanda) Ayer of Enfield, N.S.; her daughter, Shelly (Doug) Haley of Sackville, N.B. and three grandchildren, Matthew, Tara and Trieka. She was predeceased by her mother, Yvonne Doherty in 2003 and by an infant son, Derrick. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). LOWELL -- Marie "Cookie" (LeClair) Quattrochi, 78, a lifelong Lowell resident who had been a tax examiner for more than two decades, died yesterday, Oct. 12, at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell after a long illness. She was the wife of Mario Quattrochi and they had celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in August.She was born in Lowell on Feb. 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Daigle) LeClair. She graduated from Lowell High School.For more than 20 years, Mrs. Quattrochi was a tax examiner with the Internal Revenue Service. She was also employed with Educator Cookie Co. in Lowell, where she was given her nickname "Cookie".She was a communicant of St. Margaret Church in Lowell, and a member of St. Margaret's Ladies Sodality. She was a volunteer for the Girl Scouts and was a semiprofessional roller skater at the High Hat Rollaway. She enjoyed crossword puzzles.Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter and her husband, Debra and Robert Cella of Tewksbury; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald and Athena Quattrochi of Lowell and Jay M. Quattrochi of Lowell; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marie "Bertha" B. and Harvey Clement of Lowell, Marie P. and Al MacNeil of Enfield, Conn., and Marie R. Routhier, 99, formerly of 69 Washington St., died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at the Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Rochester after a period of failing health.She was born in Rochester, N.H., on April 8, 1906, the daughter of Joseph and Felanise Lefay and was a lifelong resident of Rochester. She was the widow of Joseph Routhier, who died in 1968. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, a former member of TOPS, a member of the St Ann Sodality and enjoyed Bingo and crocheting.She leaves one daughter, Bonnie Pierce-Fenner and her husband, Jerry, of Clio, Mich.; two sisters, Marie Custeau and Bernadette Sylvain, both of Rochester; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. GRAFTON— Deborah Jean Perron, 49, formerly of Millbury, passed away peacefully Sunday morning October 9, 2005 at home in Grafton with her family at her side after bravely fighting cancer for 8 years. She will be missed by her son Kenneth M. Garofalo who lived with her. She is also survived by her mother, Helen Perron of Millbury, her father, Ronald Perron of Orlando FL, her sisters, Michelle Perron of Conway SC, Suzanne Garza of Millbury, Cynthia Hurston of Cocoa FL, her brother, Brett Perron of McMinville TN, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and all her loyal friends. Debby was born June 12, 1956 in Worcester and raised in Millbury. She graduated from Millbury High School and attended Fitchburg State College. She was a Chemical Engineer at The Raytheon Corporation. Debby was also a gifted artist and photographer owning and operating her studio, Images by Deborah in Upton. She also worked as an art framing specialist at Corners in Shrewsbury and was an avid collector of antiques and southwestern artifacts. Debby loved her pets, her dog " Ditto", and her cats, " Webster and Cymba ". All who knew Debby loved her and will be comforted to know she is now safely in the arms of God. HAMPTON, N.H. - Elizabeth Stasulis Marquis, 81, of Auburn and Brunswick, known as Ziggy to family and friends, died on Oct. 11, of complications due to Alzheimer's disease at Haven Health Center in Hampton, N.H.She was born on Dec. 12, 1923, in Lewiston, to Stanislaus Stasulis and Ursula Gira. She graduated from Lewiston High School and studied to become a certified dental assistant and a certified dental technician.She worked for Dr. Scott, Dr. Marcotte and Dr. Booth Leavitt and then became the owner of Mid Maine Dental Labs, where she worked until her retirement in August 2002.She was a parishioner of St. Philip's Church in Auburn. As a member of the Daughters of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Club of Lewiston, she participated in many of their activities and was left with fond memories of her time spent there.She was an avid gardener and an artist. She enjoyed painting in oils, and her family has many of her original works to enjoy and remember her by. Her passion, other than her work, was the seashore and she spent many hours and days walking the sands of Popham Beach.She is survived by her caregivers, Glennis and Roger Chabot of Scarborough; Dr. Joni and Terry Barrows of Newmarket, N.H.; and many other nieces and nephews.She was predeceased her mother and father; two brothers, Stanley and Alex Stasulis; and four sisters, Anne Witham, Alberta Stasulis, Adella Bush and Marion Valenti. ORONO - Rita M. Fortier, 76, wife of the late Francis Fortier, died Oct. 11, 2005, at a Howland healthcare facility. She was born May 26, 1929, in Bangor, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Marshman) Sullivan. Rita was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Orono and was active in the Daughters of Isabella. She worked with the search program, a weekend retreat program for teens. She is survived by a son, Thomas Fortier of Orono, as well as several nieces and nephews. Agnes T. Hermann 93, a life long resident of New Britain passed away Monday (October 10, 2005). She was the widow of Charles F. Hermann who passed away May 3, 1992. She was a former member of Saint Joseph Church in New Britain, its Rosary Guild and Saint Joseph School Mothers Club. She was retired from The Burritt Mutal Saving Bank. Agnes leaves three children, Maureen Parrish of Plantsville, Thomas C. Hermann and his wife, Maureen of Southington and Peter R. Hermann and his wife, Jacqueline of Leawood, KS. Seven grandchildren, Kelly Payne, Scott Parrish, Michelle Parrish, Brian Hermann, Emily Hermann, Kevin Hermann, and David Hermann; three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 16 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday October 13th, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Paul Church, Alling Street, Kensington. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Annie B. Waldron Jan. 4/13 - Oct. 7/05 RICHMOND HILL, ON - The death of Mrs. Annie B. Waldron, 92, of Richmond Hill, ON and formerly of Moncton occurred after a short illness at York Central Hospital, in Ontario. Annie was past Worthy Matron of the Frank H. Tingley Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and had been a member of Wesley Memorial United Church where she was the first president of the United Church Women of that church. She also gave 20 years of devoted service to Blue Cross in Moncton. In Ontario, she was a member of the UCW and King City United Church, as well as the Senior Centre and "39ers". She enjoyed knitting, quilting, playing bridge and spending time with her many family and friends. Annie is the loving mother of Shirley Scott; grandmother of David and Mariane Odell, Brian and Heather Odell, Janet and Tom Martin and Susan and Ian Box; great-grandmother to Eric, Lisa, Sara, Aaron, Jennifer, James, Justin and Cathy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Florence Wilson of Saint John, NB. Annie is the aunt of Betty and Wesley Myles, Kathryn and Ray Atikinson, and friend to countless others in Ontario and New Brunswick. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles and her three brothers, Lloyd, Earl, and Gideon Wilson. Margaret Geraldine Fleiger MIRAMICHI, NB - In loving memory of Margaret Geraldine Fleiger, who passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on October 10, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. She was 57 years young. Geraldine was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She loved life and life loved her. She was a teacher at St. Andrew's School in Chatham, NB for 33 years. BELYEA, ELLEN FRANCES 'NELLIE' -The death of Ellen Frances 'Nellie' Belyea, wife of the late Arthur William Alan Belyea, occurred on October 9, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Peter and Lorinda (Melanson) Raymond. She spent many wonderful winters with her husband, Art, in St Petersburg, Florida. In early years she enjoyed the many card games with her friends. Later in life she became a very avid bowler with "The Recycled Teenagers Team" much to the surprise of her immediate family. The most treasured moments were the times spent with her family and friends. She was a member of Portland United Church. Surviving her are her son Arthur and his wife Joan of Halifax, NS, her daughters Donna Pratt of Saint John, Frances Bambury and her husband Bill of Saint John, Nancy King of Dartmouth, NS, Sandra Scott and her husband Bob of Saint John, her 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several cousins, nieces and nephews. SHERWOOD, EDWARD CURRIE - March 28, 1965 - May 2, 2005. We are placing a stone dedicated in memory of Ed in the Thomas Garnett Cemetery, Garnett Settlement, NB on October 12, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend. It was with sadness that we had to announce to Ed's New Brunswick birth family and friends that he died on May 2, 2005 in Edmonton, Alberta. Ed spent the last months of his life in the loving care of his family and dear friends. Ed was born in NB and spent the first nine years of his life here. While he moved to Edmonton in 1974, he never forgot his Maritime roots. Last December, he came to New Brunswick to connect and in some cases re-connect with his immediate and extended birth family. It was a trip of a lifetime for him and he had hoped that if he was well enough he would return. We shall never forget the love and kindness shown to him by his birth family members and his "foster" mother Jean who he also met for the first time in over thirty years. Ed is survived by his parents Jennifer (Jay) and Laird Sherwood, sisters Ann MacTaggart and Samantha Jardine, birth mother Deanna, birth brother and sister Philip Francis and Jennifer, wife Miroslawa and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Theresa's Church in Manchester. Mrs. Graveline had been employed by J.F. McElwaine Co. for many years, and later managed a small dairy farm in Londonderry with her family. After retiring, she and her husband traveled extensively and enjoyed ballroom dancing. She is survived by her two sons, Gerald Graveline of Auburn and Ralph Graveline of Londonderry; two daughters, Lorraine Shaw of Houlton, Maine and Helynne Wenz of Merrimack; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; five brothers, Maurice Dupere of Goffstown, Ben Dupere of Santa Maria, Calif., Armand Dupere of Derry, Roger Dupere of California and Girard Dupere of Massachusetts.; three sisters, Claire Searles of Londonderry, Rita Gosselin of Manchester and Theresa Douville of Manchester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Graveline, in 1991.Arrangements: No calling hours are planned. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. BEAUDIN, Lewis "Lew", Suddenly, but peacefully on October 10, 2005 at home in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty (1999). Survived by his much loved daughter Barbara Friesen and her husband Larry. Brother-in-law of William Overs and his wife Joan and their four daughters. Predeceased by his brother Lawrence (1991). Lew was born in Ormstown, Quebec in 1919 to Herbert Beaudin and Margaret Sproule. He attended McGill University and graduated in 1941 as a Chemical Engineer. He later we nt to Brock University at the age of 70 to obtain his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. After retirement from the Norton Company, he continued on to teach at Niagara College and Brock University. He served on the Niagara Falls Library Board, the Hosp ital Board and he was one of the founding members of the Foundation Board for the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Lew will be fondly remembered for his appreciation of the arts. Cremation has taken place. ZIMMER, Martin, 1930-2005. On Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, Dad was suddenly taken away from us at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 75. Lawrence is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers Herbert (Irene) Daly, Jim (Ellen) Daly and Peter (Madelaine) Daly of Redbridge, Ontario; sisters Morna (Bernie) Welsh of Alberta, Elsie (Dell) Morrow and Barb (John) Lott of North Bay. He will be remembered by his stepchildren Jon (Bonny) Trickett, Branda (Gary) Kavanaugh, Ruth (Bill) Parkes, Mike (Rachel) Trickett, Corrine (David) Sutherland, Bonnie (Norm) Brace, Parry Trickett, Neil Trickett, Chris Trickett and Rene Trickett. Lawrence was a devoted family man who treated everyone fairly. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, prospecting and spending time with his beloved family and pets.
