BORBELY, Anne, At the Welland County General Hospital on October 10, 2005 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Borbely (1983). Loving mother of Peter (Joyce) Borbely. Cherished grandmother of Tracey (Brian) Roblin, Simon (Paola) Borbely, Steven Borbely and great-grandmother of Riley and Chloe. Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Elizabeth Rachlovits and sisters Mary Curko, Helen Porga, Betty Simon, Ethel Kovach and Margaret Pausz. Mrs. Borberly was employed at the former Stokes R ubber before retiring in 1960, a former member of Our Lady of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, a very active member of Niagara Centre of Independent Living and the Arthritis Society Bluebirds. The family will receive friends at the H. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, October 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service, conducted by Fr. Norman Bordage c.s.c., will be held in the Cudney Chapel, on Friday, October 14th at 2 p.m. followed by cremation. Interment of cremated remains in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. FELICE, William V., On Saturday, October 8, 2005, Bill passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Phyllis Felice of St. Catharines for 64 years. Loving father of Anne Marie Stevenson (John) and David Felice (Kathy). Dear grandfather of Brian, Julie, Adam, Jenny and Tanner. Predeceased by parents Domenic and Mary. Bill will be sadly missed by brother Tony, sisters Mary and Hilda, all members of the Felice and D'Amelio families and friends a t Jubilee Place. Bill came to Canada from Italy in 1927 and settled in St. Catharines where he met and married Phil and they raised their family. Bill worked as an electrician at General Motors for 30 years and had been retired since 1982. Special th anks to Dr. Aleksiejuk and all the staff at the Welland Hospital. RZEPKA, Marta, Passed away peacefully on October 10, 2005 at The Versa Care Centre in her 100th year. Marta was born on October 24, 1905 in Brzeziny Slaskie, Poland. Separated from her husband by World War II, Marta and her son George were reunited with her husband by the International Red Cross. They arrived in Canada to join Pawel in 1958. She was a member of the O.L.P.H. church for 48 years and a member of the Ladies Rosary Society. She is predeceased by her husband Pawel (1978), sons-in-law Jan Krol and Jozef Tomala and daughter-in-law Helen Rzepka and all her siblings. She is survived by daughters Helena Krol and Regina Tomala of Poland and son George Rzepka of Grimsby. Loving Babcia of grandchildren Barbara Tomlinson of Hamilton, Joa nne Juras of Beamsville, Valerie Rzepka of Toronto, as well as Jacek Tomala and Gabriela Zieba of Poland. Beloved Pra-Babcia of 6 great-grandchildren. SOUTHON, Earl, Passed away peacefully at Chateau Gardens in Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Monday, October 10, 2005 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 53 years to Doreen (Smith) Southon. ZIMMER, Martin, 1930-2005. On Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, Dad was suddenly taken away from us at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 75. A loving and devoted father to his only son Marty Zimmer of Winnipeg. He was a loved Grandfather to Ia n and Tyler and former husband of Anita Garnett of St. Catharines and Anna Zimmer of Hungary. Dad was born on July 23, 1930 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan then relocated to St. Catharines where he was employed at Thompson Products for over 30 years. He was a committed member of TRW's Old Guard Association. Our heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to the dedicated staff at the Heidehof who took Dad into their hearts and loved him, making him feel at home. He truly felt you were all part of his family. D ad was a kind and gentle man whose outlook on life was always to live each day to its fullest and treat everyone with respect. DALY, Lawrence Neil - Lawrence Neil Daly passed away on Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Kirkland & District Hospital at the age of 74 years. Lawrence was predeceased by his first spouse Nancy Daly and daughter Patricia Frey. He is survived by his current spouse Jean Daly of Kirkland Lake; children Lloyd (Gina), Kenneth (Eloise), John (Lorie), Roy (Elanor), David (Jean), Irene (Dennis) and Dori (Doug) and son-in-law Ernie all of Alberta. Lawrence is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers Herbert (Irene) Daly, Jim (Ellen) Daly and Peter (Madelaine) Daly of Redbridge, Ontario; sisters Morna (Bernie) Welsh of Alberta, Elsie (Dell) Morrow and Barb (John) Lott of North Bay. He will be remembered by his stepchildren Jon (Bonny) Trickett, Branda (Gary) Kavanaugh, Ruth (Bill) Parkes, Mike (Rachel) Trickett, Corrine (David) Sutherland, Bonnie (Norm) Brace, Parry Trickett, Neil Trickett, Chris Trickett and Rene Trickett. Lawrence was a devoted family man who treated everyone fairly. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, prospecting and spending time with his beloved family and pets. PRIVETT, Edith Florence (Jones) (105 years) - Passed away peacefully after a long and glorious life, at Cassellholme on Tuesday, October 11, 2005. She, Edith Jones, was the beloved wife of the late Sydney Privett and was 105 years old. Born in London, England on December 1, 1899 to Robert and Edith Jones, she emigrated to North Bay with her family when she was 12. After having spent her early years working at City Laundry, she and her husband owned and ran the Cozy Rest Auto Court, Motel and Cabins on Algonquin Avenue from the 1940s through the early 1960s. An active life-time parishioner and Women's Guild Member of St. Brice's Anglican Church and also a life-time member along with her husband Sydney of the North Bay Golden Age Club, she enjoyed many pastimes. This included BINGO, gardening, knitting, and travelling to her native England with her sister Ivy, and her daughter, Joyce. She and her husband Sydney, especially enjoyed working on their beautiful English garden together. She was the beloved mother of the late Joyce Hynes. Loving grandmother of Kathleen Bouska and her husband Rick of Alaska, Sherry Billie Ann Hynes of Garson, Ontario and Terri-Lynn Leeking of Toronto. She will also be fondly remembered by her great-grand-dogs. She was predeceased by her siblings Cyril, Leonard and Ivy. ROSS, Cyril Leonard In loving memory of Cyril Leonard Ross, 78 years, of Capreol, who passed away Monday morning, October 10th, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in North Bay and married Violet "Vi" (Phillip) in 1947 in Capreol. Cyril came to Capreol as a child. He was a carman at the CNR having 44 years service when he retired. A proud Canadian, Cyril had served in the Canadian Army during WWII. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #179 Capreol. A real people person, he lived life to the fullest having many interests which included hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and playing cards. The light of Cyril's life will be cherished by his loving family and many friends. Beloved husband of Violet "Vi" (Phillip) Ross of Capreol. Loving father of James (Rosalind), Cheryl (Ray Lauzon) and Rick all of Capreol. BAILEY, Glendon Grant Milton In loving memory of Glendon Grant Milton Bailey. Peacefully at his home on Saturday October 8, 2005, age 66 years. Born in Porquios Junction on March 15, 1939 to Jack & Pearl (nee Owen) Bailey (both predeceased). Moved to South Baymouth when he was 13, with his mother who then remarried Jack Leeson (predeceased). Some of Glendon's interests were fishing, hunting, hockey, curling, and playing with his pet dogs. But his true love was spending time with his wife and daughter. He enjoyed his friends and was always ready to tell a good joke or story. In 1964 he married his sweetheart Betty Jean Dryden. Became the doting father of daughter Valerie Gail, of Whitby. Started working at General Motors before he married and stayed till after Valerie was born. Then worked for International Nickel for 32 years until retiring. Predeceased by his oldest two siblings; Marguerite & Jack Wood (predeceased) and Ken. Will forever be remembered by Jean & Doug McLeod, Evenlyn & Ron Owens (predeceased), Alvin, Audrey & Burton Case. Cowles: Harold Edward December 7, 1914 - September 30, 2005 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Harold at Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 90. Harold was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his mother Henrietta Legacy, his father Harold Cowles and his brother Carlton Cowles. Married for 68 years, Harold is survived by his wife Helen Cowles, and daughter, Beverley Larson. Grandchildren: Kevin and wife Judy of Chilliwack, Jeff and wife Kathy of Drumheller, AB, Graham and wife Carrie of Sooke, B.C.; and six great-granchildren, Dale, Marissa, Kyle, Tyler, Reanna and Eric. Harold and his family settled in Drumheller, AB in the early 1920's. He met and married his wife Helen (Kerr) and had one daughter Beverley. He worked as a finishing carpenter and enjoyed working with his hands, building and fixing many things from radios, cars, appliances and woodworking. He also enjoyed music and played the banjo, violin and saxophone in his orchestra called The Blue Jays. They played for many dances around the Drumheller community. In 1956 they moved to Calgary and in 1963 to Surrey, B.C. Followed by their daughter and her three sons in 1970. The past four years were spent in Chilliwack close to daughter Beverley and grandson Kevin's family. Harold will be missed by many other family members close to our hearts as well, and, joining us at this sad time. The family wishes to thank Dr. M. Gruno, as well as the nursing staff on the third floor of Chilliwack General Hospital for the care they provided.

BERLIN — Arline (Arsenault) Stephenson, 88, of 421 Main Street, Berlin died on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at her home. She was born in Gorham on July 20, 1917, the daughter of Glorice and Marie Angela (Desroche) Arsenault.She lived in Gorham, Portland, Maine, and Arizona. She had been a member of the Service Women’s Air Corp and had been employed by Converse Rubber Co. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She was the widow of Leslie A. Born in White Oak, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Clark and Evaline (Sutton) Clark and wife of the late George Leo LaBelle. She had resided in Troy all her adult life. Mrs. LaBelle was a homemaker. She was an active communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Troy and a former secretary for Fr. Thomas Scott of the church in the 1960s and a member of the women's guild. She enjoyed gardening, especially in her rose garden. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy A. Crispo of Troy, Sue Jackson (Matthew) of Rockaway Pt., L.I., N.Y. and Jane Fairchild (Richard) of Castleton; eight grandchildren, Roderick J. Crispo, Gregory G. Crispo, Dawn (Nick) Celentano, Christine (Anthony) Allocco, Kim (Chuck) Thompson, Anthony and Stephen Valente and Patrick Fogarty and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. Georgette Pintado passed away on October 4, 2005 at Pontchartrain Health Care Center where she was a resident since October 2003. She is lovingly remembered as "Nanan" by the many children she cared for over many years first in New Orleans then in Metairie and lastly in Mandeville. Nanan was born in France on September 16, 1924. She moved to New Orleans in the early 1950's and lived in this area the rest of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville and was an active volunteer for many years. She was also a long time volunteer at the Pontchartrain Health Care Center prior to becoming a resident. She was active for many years in several Jefferson Parish Garden Clubs and won numerous awards during that time. Sister of Mrs. LeGueilaff Marie Josephe. Grandmother of Megan Tittle of Seattle, Washington. Mother in law of Marci DeRouen Tittle of Hickory Creek, Texas. SPRINGFIELD - Henry A. Dion, 63, of Wilton Street, died Tuesday at his home following a long battle with cancer. Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Sylvio and Florence (Ballargeon) Dion. He was educated in Springfield schools, graduating from the former Trade High School. Jeannette Hanrahan Peltier, 92, began her next journey on Friday, October 7, 2005. She was born in Crystal Falls Michigan, on September 9, 1913. As a young child she moved to Escanaba, Michigan where she attended school, married and began raising her eight children. She also lived in Ephrata, Washington, Eugene, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, Longview, Texas and Arcadia, California. She moved to Arizona 18 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Regina Hanrahan, her brother Bill and husband Lloyd. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her wonderful perserverence, her no nonsense approach to life and her devotion to the Green Bay Packers. She is survived by her son William H. Andrea (Langlois) Gingras, 90, of Vassalboro, ME, beloved wife of the late Leonard Gingras, peacefully entered God's care with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, (October 11, 2005). Born in Katevale, province of Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Telesphore and Jeanne (Sergent) Langlois, she had resided in South Windsor for 30 years prior to moving to Maine. She was a former communicant of St. Margaret Mary Church, South Windsor and enjoyed knitting for others. Mrs. Gingras greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and doing activities with her family. Mrs. Gingras is survived by a son, Leonard D. Delia (Proulx) Sataline, 93, widow of Dominick M. Sataline, died Tuesday (October 11, 2005) at Ridgeview Health Center in Cromwell. Born in Salmon Lake, Quebec, Canada, she has lived in New Britain since 1927. Delia was employed at the East Side Restaurant for 15 years until her retirement in 1974. She was a member of St. John's the Evangelist Church in New Britain; and of the Ladies Guild in the church. Surviving is a son, Donald Sataline and his wife Ann Marie of Berlin; a sister, Rose St. Pierre of Plainville; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Sataline of Newton, MA; four grandsons, Steven, Erek, David, and Christopher Sataline; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Raymond Sataline; two sisters, Gertrude Cancelli and Mary Ann O'Brien; and a brother, Odilion Proulx. ALLENSTOWN -- Roland H. "Rich" Richard, 75, of Lincoln Street, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at Harris Hill Health Care Center in Concord after a period of failing health. A lifelong resident of the Pembroke-Allenstown area, Mr. Richard was born March 14, 1930, the son of Joseph and Angeline (Cusson) Richard. In his early 20s, Mr. Richard joined the U.S. Army. He earned the rank of sergeant and served as a tank commander in Germany during the Korean conflict. He was a member of both the John J. Maguire American Legion Post No. 28 and the VFW Post No. 2860 of Suncook. Working as a carpenter most of his life, he retired as a foreman for the E.D. Swett Company and had also been employed by the Guy S. Langstroth Company. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Routhier Council No. 4666. He enjoyed working woodlots and playing pool. Because of his skills as a carpenter, he enjoyed helping family members build their homes. His family includes his wife of 51 years, Germaine (Dion) Richard of Allenstown; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and James Laverdiere of Pembroke; and two grandchildren, Keith and Christine Laverdiere. He was one of 11 children, survived by only a sister, Connie Saucier of Pembroke. Six brothers, Rudolphe, Leon, Raoul, Edward, Armand and Donald Richard, and three sisters, Lucille Renaud, Rita Chevrette and Annette Vezina, predeceased him. Calling hours will be held Fridayfrom 4 to 7 p.m. at Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. The love she had for flowers flowed through in her love for her many friends. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. At one time she served as the State Librarian of the Dames of the Court of Honor. She was an 8th generation descendant of Capt. John Ford from which she drew her lineage. The John Ford Historical Museum is the sight of theJohn Ford Home, better known as the Ford Stockdale, located in Sandy Hook, Miss. The home is reminiscent of the 18th century forts built in the Mississippi Territory in the late 1700s. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The home remains very much as it was originally with many of the original furnishings. One of the most memorial guests was Gen. Andrew Jackson whose army camped at the stockade while marching to the defense of the city of New Orleans during the War of 1812.She was the corporate secretary of the family businesses and in 1975 worked with her husband to found the Interco Companies, a company that grew from distribution in all 50 states and on into the international markets. John is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Virlee Mire Mouton and their two sons, Keith Mouton and Chad and wife Melissa Mouton, and a daughter, Sandra "Missy" and husband Bill Woodard; eight grandchildren, Shane and wife Tiffany Mouton, Rachelle Mouton, Meghan Woodard, Hanna Woodard, Cole Woodard, Paden Mouton, Allie Mouton and Shelby Mouton; a great-grandchild, Alexis Mouton; mother, Marie Mouton; and mother-in-law, Edwill Mire; four sisters, Jenny and husband Ronnie Melancon, Mary Bourdreaux, Pat and husband Leonard Breaux, and Linda Mouton; sister-in-law, Mildred and husband Ferris Hernandez; three brothers, Edwin and wife Ann Mouton, James and wife Judy Mouton, and Greg and wife Sherry Mouton; and two brothers-in-law, Ray and wife Priscilla Mire and Larry and wife Carrie Mire. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Mouton; and father-in-law, Freddie Mire. Pallbearers are his brothers, James Mouton, Edwin Mouton and Greg Mouton; godchild, René Mire; Shannon Mouton; and business partner, Karl Weber. Honorary pallbearers are Phil and Justine Mayeaux, Jadine Brown, Ed and Kathy Rabalais, Jerry and Carolyn Broussard, Bodie and Judy Mestayer, Rowel and Rose Johnson and Judy Heath. He retired from the U.S. Navy, was founder and part owner of PBC Industrial Supplies Inc., Drillco Inc., Mouton Enterprises Inc., M&W Enterprises and Magnum Solid Carbide, L.L.C. He was a board member of the Louisiana Employees Mutual Insurance Co. He served as an usher and Eucharistic minister at St. Patrick Catholic Church and was a grand knight and state deputy of the Knights of Columbus Council 8601 and 3298.
