MARTIN, Guy 1928-2005 À St-Jérôme, le 2 octobre 2005, à l'âge de 77 ans, est décédé M. Guy Martin. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Robert, Diane (Alain) et Suzie (Martin); ses petits-enfants: Mathieu, Adam, Isabelle, Annie et Maxime; ses beaux-frères, ses neveux et nièces, ainsi que plusieurs autres parents et amis. Mother-in-law of Charles J. Ledet, Sr. Also survived by her grandchildren: Charles Ledet, Jr., Monique M. Ledet, Patrice A Mayberry; Great-Grandchildren, Charles III, Kristyle, Austin and Caitlyn Ledet, Collin J. Mayberry and Anna M. Labella; and great-great-grandchild Brianna Ledet. Age 92 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of St. Tammany Parish, LA for the past 12 years. A Funeral Mass was held in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home. Interment: McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA. AUBURN - Bertrand Real Bergeron, 67, of Auburn, died peacefully at his home Tuesday, Oct. 4, following a long battle with cancer.He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 9, 1938, the son of Edmond and Antoinette (Leveille) Bergeron. He attended both St. Famille and St. Mary's elementary schools, and was a student at St. Francis in Biddeford for two years. He graduated from St. Dominic High School in 1956.After high school, Bert enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a medic. He enjoyed his tour of duty in Europe, and was stationed in Germany during the construction of the Berlin Wall. He was a member of the New Auburn American Legion Post No. 153.He was a paint and coatings specialist. For 23 years, he worked at the Sherwin-Williams paint store in Lewiston, most of those years as store manager. After leaving Sherwin-Williams, Bert and a partner opened Devoe Color center in Lewiston. Most recently, he worked at Pineland Lumber as an inside salesman.He was a very active member of his community. Over the years, he served as president of the St. Louis Booster Club and president of the New Auburn Little League, and was an active member of the Lewiston Lion's Club. He is a past member of the St. Louis Parish where he served on the parish council, and was a lector and a member of the folk group.He was a wonderful husband, dad and grandfather. His favorite activity was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to learn new things, and had a fascination with science and nature. He enjoyed traveling, and was an avid crossword and jigsaw puzzle enthusiast.He is survived by his wife, the former Joan Dube, of Auburn, whom he married May 1, 1965; a daughter, Susan Smith and her husband, Robert, of Mechanic Falls; two sons, Steven Bergeron and his wife, Jennifer, of Waterville, and David Bergeron and his wife, Nicole, of Turner; five grandchildren, Gabrielle Smith, Phillip and Rachael Bergeron, and Shane and Phillip Smith; and a sister, Germaine Doyon, of Lewiston.He was predeceased by a sister, Pauline Bergeron; and a brother, Roger Bergeron.

ELDON MICHAEL BOUDREAUX, 89 was born on July 21, 1916 in Bogalusa La. and passed away on September 23, 2005 in Dallas County, Texas. Mike grew up in Houston and was a life-time resident. He graduated from San Jacinto H.S. and attended the University of Texas. While working for Gulf Oil he decided to join the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He married Marjorie Evelyn Wilson and they had 3 children. He and his parents owned and operated the Rainbow Laundry and Cleaners on West Alabama St. until his retirement. He later took a position at Diagnostic Hospital and worked well into his seventies. His parents were one of the founding families of Second Baptist Church and he was a charter member. He was preceded in death by his parents Eves and Eula Boudreaux, his wife Margie, his brother James and his sister Monnie. Survived by his children Mike Boudreaux and wife Marie, Monnie Atkinson and husband Ralph and Yvette Parolini and husband Alan as well as grandsons Ben Atkinson, Andrew, Timothy and Michel Boudreaux and great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Atkinson and Wilson Boudreaux. He was our rock. We love you Dad, you were always such a good sport and you will be deeply missed. A private family service will be held in his honor at Forest Park Lawndale. MacMILLAN, Evelyn Ethel (nee Hope) Evelyn MacMillan died peacefully on 3 October at Rideau Place on the River, aged 98. She was predeceased in 1973 by her husband Hugh. A life-long resident of Ottawa, she was the daughter of John and Ethel Hope. John owned Ottawa's principal bookstore early in the century. The Hope building on the Sparks Street Mall is still named for the family. Ethel was a major figure in Ottawa's intellectual life, a close friend of Prime Ministers and indefatigable chronicler of developments in the Gatineau Hills, where they owned a summer home on Meech Lake. Evelyn and her younger sister Shirley grew up very much in the swing of things in Canada's then still new capital. A pillar of the Centre Town community, she worked until well into her eighties at the Maycourt and with other charitable associations. Until her early nineties, she would walk from her home on the Driveway to the Civic Hospital to visit the sick there. In her eighties, she thought nothing of swimming across Meech Lake. An exceptionally intrepid and generous figure, Evelyn travelled the world extensively after Hugh's death, always alert and open to distant societies and cultures. She proved a wonderful ambassador for Canada in all of these ventures and established nearly as many friendships abroad as she maintained in Canada. Many of these were with individuals and families generations younger than herself. Evelyn, intensively admired by all who knew her, will be sorely missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St. on Saturday, October 8, 2005 after 10 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. Her quiet determination and courage in her three and a half year battle was nothing short of amazing. Catherine never once complained about her hardship and whenever asked how she was, she always answered "Fine, thank you." She will always be missed by her ever loving husband John, her beloved son Scott, and her canine best friend Dallas. Daughter of the late John K. Roche, she leaves to mourn, her mother Norma, sisters Carol (Pierre Robert), Heather (John Barclay), brother John, nephews, nieces and friends. Il était le fils de feu Charles Leblanc et de feu Germaine Paquette. PATTERSON, Murray H., It is with deep sorrow Murray's family announces his passing on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at West Park Health Centre in his 77th year. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, his daughter Laurie (Leonard) LePage, his grandda ughter Alana (Michael) Couture and his adored great-granddaughter Madeline. Brother of Jim (Sheena), Bob (Myrna), Judy Taylor and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Murray worked for 25 years at Royal Canadian Legion Br. #24, retiring in 1994. He was a volunteer at Community Care, especially enjoying his work with the Christmas Bureau. Murray received the City of St. Catharines Volunteer of the Year award in 2001. Per Murray's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Privat e interment at a later date. Mrs. Lajeunesse had been employed for over 30 years by General Electric Silicones in Waterford, retiring in 1992. Kay enjoyed reading, bowling and Las Vegas. She was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club and was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Ushers. Devoted mother of Karen (Henry) Wacksman, Susan (Christopher) Minardi, Joseph (Pamela) Lajeunesse and Jeffrey (Marguerite) Lajeunesse, all of Clifton Park, Ross (Cheryl) Lajeunesse of Las Vegas, Nev. and the late Gregory Lajeunesse; sister of the late Anne Mohan, Mary and Edward J. HANNA, Paul Edward Paul Edward Hanna, 22, a third year student at Sir Sandford Fleming College Lindsay Campus, suddenly on Monday, October 3rd at his residence in Lindsay. He recently completed his Environmental Technician diploma with Honours. Paul Hanna, of 38 Heritage Drive, Petawawa, dearly loved son of Bruce Hanna and Hilda Young, dear brother of Jocelyn Hanna, Red Deer, Alberta. Nephew of John Young, Toronto. Survived by several great aunts, uncles and cousins in Ontario, Quebec and Norway. Paul grew up in Pinawa, Manitoba, learning to love the outdoors. In his early years, he played hockey, golf and curled. He received his Chief Scout award and continued to participate in the scouting movement as a Junior Beaver leader. In 2001, Paul moved to Petawawa, where he completed high school, participating in curling, concert band and badminton. He was an active member of St. George's Chapel, CFB Petawawa and was confirmed in 2002. Paul was active in the Chapel youth group as a member and a leader, he held office on the chapel committee and played centre field for the Saints softball team. Paul will be greatly missed by friends and relatives. Mrs. Bessette is survived by two sons, Germain Bessette of Compton, Quebec, and Andre Bessette of Columbia; a daughter, Lorraine Routhier of Tempe, Ariz.; a brother, Roland Charest of Coaticook, Quebec; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers, Armand, Paul, Lionel and Gildor Charest, and two sisters Antoinette Robert and Laurette Robert. Born on February 9, 1925 in Johnson City, New York, Mr. DuRocher was the son of the late Earl Elmer DuRocher, Sr. and Eva Mae Wakeman DuRocher and had lived in Macon for the past forty-five years. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. Mr. DuRocher was a retired sales representative with Parco Office Supplies in Macon and was a member of Bass United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Folette. Mr. DuRocher is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mattox DuRocher of Macon; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Jimmy Beeland of Watkinsville, Penny Janes of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Robin DuRocher of Springfield, Missouri, and Diana and Monte Montgomery of Augusta; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jim Smoot of Avon Park, Florida; and by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. -Bridges Funeral Home in Gray has charge of arrangements.Published in The Telegraph on 10/6/2005.

ALBANY, NY -- Joanne LaBarge Mineau, 73, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital. Joanne was born in Pittsfield, Mass. and had lived in Feura Bush and then Coeymans Hollow for 30 years. She worked for the former Dime Savings in Delmar. Joanne was a volunteer at the Ephesian House in Ravena, participated in Christian Music Ministries and was a prayer partner in a local care group. She was a good and blessed friend to many. Survivors include her husband, Normand Mineau of Coeymans Hollow; children, Brenda O'Connor of Bradenton, Fla., Michael (Diane) Mineau and Mark (Mary) Mineau, both of Coeymans Hollow, Kathleen (Herb) VanAnden of Ravena and David (Julie) Mineau of Schaghticoke; brothers, Paul LaBarge and Ralph LaBarge; sister, Dianne Fairbanks; and six grandchildren, Catie, Adam, Jennifer, Angela, Nathan and Justin. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Coeymans Hollow. Lebrun-Greffin, Marileine was born in St. Louis-Du-Nord, Haiti on July 12, 1965. She was married in July 1990 and she came to U.S.A. in 1994 where she studied to become a C.N.A. She passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2005, at the age of 40 after a short illness. She was an active and faithful Catholic member for all of her life. She was a very productive and law abiding citizen here and her homeland. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Iloferne Greffin; her two sons, Fernley and Frandy; her three daughters, Mahasha, Kewin and Jessica. Also by her mother, Christiana Lebrun; her brother and sisters, Elvelia Lebrun-Felisnor, Ghisleine Lebrun-Dorvil, Arlette Lebrun-Sadius, and all others affected by her death. Patricia May Mercereau Pat was born in Portland, Oregon, May 16, 1925, to Lois and Fred Kellington, and left us October 2, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. She modeled a unique example of bravery for all of us who were privileged to know and love her. Pat came to Washington State as a high school junior and graduated from Sumner High School in 1943. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Reed College and her Master's degree from University of Puget Sound. Pat's employment was as diverse as her interests: she owned a record shop in Lakewood Center and worked in an auto shop before entering the field of education. She served as a special education teacher for Franklin Pierce School District. She loved to fish in Puget Sound, dig clams at the ocean, and bowl. In her earlier years, she rode motorcycles, scuba dived and flew planes. She was proud to be a University Place resident and worked hard for incorporation. Pat always gave from the heart and wanted nothing in return. She is survived by her brother R.C. Mercereau (Margie and family) of Oregon, her beloved pets, Gaia and Willie, and numerous friends and neighbors whom Pat considered family. Special thanks to Allenmore Oncology Department and Dr. Chris Chen and his staff. A celebration of Pat's life will be held in her home on Sunday, October 9, 2005, 3-5pm.
