PERU - Shirley C. Cormier, 68, died at her home on Auburn Road, Peru, on Monday, Oct. 3, with her loving family and friends around her, after a long courageous battle with ovarian cancer.She was born Aug. 16, 1937, in Rumford, a daughter of George W. and Annie L. (Pressey) Glazier. She was raised in Roxbury and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford Class of 1955.She married Norman H. Cormier on Sept. 3, 1955, at St. Theresa Church, Mexico. They lived their entire life in Peru. They bought a dairy farm where she ran a small business of making cheese, butter, sour milk and whipped cream to sell. With the help of her family, they also sold eggs and produce from their large vegetable garden.She had been employed at the Dixfield Nursing Home for a short time, then started a dog and cat grooming business that grew to more than 135 customers over the course of 45 years. People came from as far away as Florida, and Nashua and Berlin, N.H., to have their pets groomed.She enjoyed decorating the outside of her home for every holiday and won prizes for their Christmas displays. She also enjoyed collecting fine crystal and figurines, and loved to go to car shows in her '69 Buick Electra Convertible with a close family friend, Roger Knox. She loved her two Persian cats, "Coffee Brandy" and "Whiskers."Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Norman Cormier, of Peru; her son, Richard A. Cormier and his fiancee, Cynthia A. Whitmore, of Peru; three granddaughters, Cassie A. Cormier, Angela M. Cormier and Shawna L. Cormier, all of Rumford; and a grandson, Dylan Stefani of Jay.She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Madaline White; a brother, Carl Glazier; and an hour-old newborn daughter, Corrina Cormier.

Armand Robert Grandpre, 72 years old of West Palm Beach, died on Saturday, October 1, 2005. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut to Robert James and Eva Gignac Grandpre. He served in the U.S. Navy and attended Syracuse University. Armand was the owner of Armand Grandpre Insurance and was associated with The David Associates of Palm Beach. He is survived by his sons, David E. Grandpre of West Palm Beach and Robert J. SOUTH HADLEY - Alfred E. Harnois, 88, of Dale St., died October 3, 2005 at Holyoke Hospital. Born June 14, 1917 in Taunton, MA, he has lived in South Hadley since 1954 and was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church. He retired from Production Pattern in Chicopee and also worked for years at Bryant Machine and Shop Rite in Springfield. In his leisure he enjoyed gardening, woodworking, animals and repairing small engines. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Anita (LaFlamme) Harnois, a daughter Nancy Harnois of Springfield and a son Wesley Harnois and his wife Beverly of Monson. He also leaves a sister Anita McKnelly of Longwood, FL a brother Edward Harnois of Chicopee and four grandchildren Elaine Davis, Dyanne Rousseau, Kevin Malsbury and Karen Davis and nine great grandchildren. He will also be missed by a close friend Carol Burrell of Springfield, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Penny. A funeral service will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the Beers & Story S. Hadley Funeral Home, followed by a mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa's church. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. NORTHBOROUGH— Leslie K. (Henningson) Chapdelaine, 46, of 220 Church Street, died Tuesday October 4, 2005 in the Beaumont of Westborough after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her husband of 23 years, James R. Chapdelaine; a daughter, Suzanne N. Chapdelaine; three sons, James E., John P. and Ian J. Chapdelaine all at home; her mother, Alice (Wieselquist) Henningson of Marlborough, four brothers, John and Jeffrey Henningson both of Northborough, Erick Henningson of Grafton and Ivar Henningson of Brattleboro, VT.; one sister, Jennifer Henningson of Natick; nieces and nephews. She was born in Concord, daughter of the late John Henningson and was raised in Southborough. She graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in 1977 and from Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing in 1980. Leslie was a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital in Worcester for many years before retiring in 1994 to take care of her children. Leslie was a devoted mother who volunteered on many occasions at the Lincoln Street School. She also helped her husband coach the Northborough Youth Basketball Team. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday October 7th in the Pilgrim Congregational Church, Common Street, Southborough. Burial will be at the convenience of the family, in the family plot at Rural Cemetery in Southborough. Bizette, Blanche Olande A homemaker and retired farmer, she died at 4:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home. OUELLETTE, ALBERT, 87, of Putnam Pike, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Claire E. (Plante) Ouellette. Born in Providence, a son of the late Thomas and Aldea (Pipp) Ouellette, he had been a resident of Glocester most of his life. Mr. Ouellette was employed many years at the former J.L. Marshall Construction Co. and, later, as a sheetmetal worker at the former Bromberg Co. He was a WWII Army surgical technician serving in the European Theater. He was a member of the Sheetmetal Workers Union Local #17, Knights of Columbus, St. Philip Council, and past president of the Glocester Senior Citizens.Mr. Ouellette is survived by five children, Albert T. Ouellette and Joyce M. DiGuilio both of North Scituate, Virginia C. Gobeli of Cranston, Martha L. Steere of Chepachet, and Joan K. Munroe of Norwich, Ct., ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. T. FRANCIS - R. Betty Jandreau, 81, died Oct. 3, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. She was born March 25, 1924, in Allagash, the daughter of Ernest and Eunice (Castonguay) Walker. She is survived by her beloved husband, Adrien, of 56 years; two sons, Dale and his wife, Linda, of Lewiston and Peter of Fort Kent; two brothers, Maurice Walker of St. Francis and Leo Walker of Caribou; two sisters, Patricia Nadeau of St. Francis and Mary Ouellette of Connecticut; six grandchildren, Kevin Osborne, Keith Jandreau, Jeffery Jandreau, Timothy Osborne, Christopher Jandreau, Jennifer Jandreau and Sara Jandreau; five great-grandchildren, Lucas Nadeau, Cameron Osborne, Meghan Staples, Zachery Polley and Zaryn Hall. Doris Mae (Yarrington) Cuillierrier, 74, formerly of Vernon St. and Garden House, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, in the Franciscan Health Center. Doris was born on May 11, 1931 in Mondovi, Wisc., to Emma (Sandie) and Charles Yarrington. She moved to Duluth at the age of 18. She was married in Duluth to Robert Cuillierrier on March 23, 1950 and together they raised eight children. She was a homemaker and a cook having worked at Bethany Children's Home. During Christmas her family invited children from Bethany Children's Home to their home. She also was head cook and manager at Miller Dwan West and she and Robert owned Cuillierrier Presort Mail Business. Doris enjoyed and was an active square dancer. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband. Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. in 2000; brothers, Russell Yarrington, Ervin Yarrington; and a sister, Lucille Bardill. Doris and Robert raised eight children, Patricia (Rodney) Radich of Duluth, Cheryl (Timothy) Gella of Blaine, Minn., Mark (Tammy), Richard (Heidi ) of Duluth, Mike (Tina) of Finland, Minn., Robert A. of Duluth, Steven of Virginia and Timothy of Duluth; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Mindy, Missy, Devin, Lindsay, Derek, Sara, and Corey; three great grandchildren, Janessa and Haley and Charley; brother, Kenneth (Doris) Yarrington of Racine, Wisc.; sisters, Marlene (Bill) Gowrie of Sacramento, Calif., Helen Kruger of Schetek, Wisc., Vi Yarrington of Eau Claire, Wisc., and Rosella Jensen of Racine, Wisc. COUTURE, Clément Père Le père Clément Couture, Oblat de Marie Immaculée, est décédé le 3 octobre 2005, à Richelieu, à l'âge de 87 ans et 11 mois. James Marshall Beauchamp, 68, passed away on September 20, 2005. He lived life to the fullest as a Marine, lawyer, pilot, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was raised in Port Arthur Texas, and was a graduate of the University of Texas and the South Texas College of Law. James joined the Marine Corps in 1957, and re enlisted in 1962. He served in Vietnam, where he was a Company Commander at the time of his release from active duty in 1968. He practiced law in Houston for a number of years, but ultimately transitioned to his true calling - flying airplanes. He spent 12 years flying and making friends in Alaska before recently moving to Germany. James is survived by his wife Suzanne; his children Kevin, Keith and Keri; his grandchildren Zachary, Adam, Chase and Marshall; his brother Ben; his sister Mary Beth; and his mother, Mavis. A Visitation was held from 6-8 pm Wednesday Sept. 28, 2005 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX, and the funeral service was at 11:00 am Thursday Sept. 29, 2005 at Peace Lutheran Church in Austin Texas. AUBURN - Roger H. Ouellette, 79, of Old Carriage Road, Auburn, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 4, at his home with his family at his side.He was born in Lewiston on May 5, 1926, a son of Napoleon and Regina Paradis Ouellette. He was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of the L-A community.He was a military veteran, having served his country in the Navy from 1944 to 1946. On Sept. 5, 1948, he married the former Mariette Dallaire.In the mid-1950s, Roger, along with his brother, Omer, began to aggressively grow the family business that their father started, into a full-service commercial plumbing and heating company. He went on to become a well-known contractor throughout the state and was very active within industry associations.He was the president of The Exchange Club, director of Martindale Country Club and a member of the Sacred Heart League. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed many rounds with friends at Martindale. He also enjoyed woodworking in his free time, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband who fondly cared for his wife for many years.He leaves a daughter, Sonia Turgeon and her husband, Mark, of Auburn; two sons, Marc Ouellette of Gray and Claude Ouellette of Auburn; six grandchildren, Michelle, Christine and Adrien Ouellette, and Tony, David and Katie Belisle; and a sister, Pauline Turgeon and her husband, Dr. Ralph Turgeon, of Old Orchard Beach.He was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Belisle; and three brothers, Dr. Marcel Ouellette, Ray Ouellette and Omer Ouellette.

SMITH, Barry Edmund 1935-2005 Peacefully at home after a short illness on Monday, October 3, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. Retired June, 2001 after 38 years of loyal and dedicated service as Controller for Fuller Construction. His life was full: an avid skier, fly fisherman, cyclist and golfer. He was a past member of the Canadian Ski Patrol and in retirement loved to collect stamps and tie flies. He will be most remembered for his great sense of humour, smile and quick wit. They were always genuine and we will carry them in our hearts forever.
