STERN, Geoffrey. February 5, 1935 - October 3, 2005 died suddenly while visiting Montreal. He had a distinguished career as a broadcaster with the BBC, and as a teacher in International Relations at the London School of Economics. He was a fine jazz pianist, loved gardening and since retirement devoted his time and passion to musical composition. James Marshall Beauchamp, 68, passed away on September 20, 2005. He lived life to the fullest as a Marine, lawyer, pilot, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was raised in Port Arthur Texas, and was a graduate of the University of Texas and the South Texas College of Law. James joined the Marine Corps in 1957, and re enlisted in 1962. He served in Vietnam, where he was a Company Commander at the time of his release from active duty in 1968. He practiced law in Houston for a number of years, but ultimately transitioned to his true calling - flying airplanes. He spent 12 years flying and making friends in Alaska before recently moving to Germany. James is survived by his wife Suzanne; his children Kevin, Keith and Keri; his grandchildren Zachary, Adam, Chase and Marshall; his brother Ben; his sister Mary Beth; and his mother, Mavis. A Visitation was held from 6-8 pm Wednesday Sept. 28, 2005 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX, and the funeral service was at 11:00 am Thursday Sept. 29, 2005 at Peace Lutheran Church in Austin Texas. A memorial service was held on Tuesday October 4, 2005 in Eagle River Alaska at Joy Lutheran Church at 11:00 am, followed by a reception. Isala (Beauchesne) Carbonneau, 89, of Windham, beloved wife of Aime Carbonneau, died Sunday (September 25, 2005). She was born May 16, 1916 in Andover, MA the daughter of Wilfred and Marie (Rancourt) Beauchesne. She retired from Kendall Corp. and was a member of the Chaplain Seniors. Besides her husband, her survivors include a son, Allan and his wife Lynn of Stafford Springs; a daughter, Elaine Schatz of Columbia; five grandchildren, Monique Figueroa-Westover and husband Richard, Robert Schatz, Jr., Ronald Schatz, Paul and Lisette Carbonneau; and four great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Joseph Beauchesne of Lawrence, MA and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Beauchesne of Lawrence, MA and Frances Beauchesne of Little Rock, AK; and a brother-in-law, Leo Marchand of Springfield, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews. WESTBROOK - Albert P. Chretien, 85, of Falmouth Street, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005 at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough. He was born in Westbrook, the son of Joseph and Josephine St. Pierre Chretien. He worked for S.D. Warren Paper Co. for 43 years, retiring in 1982. He was a communicant of St. MaryÕs Church and a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Hyacinth Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a long time member of the Maine National Guard. Albert was a member and past Commander of the American Legion Post #62, the Westbrook Senior Citizens, and the United Paper Worker’s Union. His hobbies were gardening, woodworking, and reading. His wife of 61 years, Marion Libby Chretien; a daughter Mrs. Ann-Marie Cote of Westbrook; two sons, Paul A. Chretien of Westbrook and Joseph E. Chretien of Benton; a brother, Laurent G. Chretien of Westbrook; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Edna) Nelson of Westbrook; and five grandchildren. Sr. Helen Dionne, DHS -- July 5, 1916 -- October 4, 2005 -- PUTNAM -- Sr. Helen Dionne, 89, a member of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit, died on Tuesday October 4, 2005 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam CT. She had been a resident of the Holy Spirit Provincial House in Putnam since 1996. Sr. Helen was born on July 5, 1916 in East Hartford CT, the daughter of the late Henri and Arthemise (Pelletier) Dionne.In 1932, Sr. Helen entered religious life and made her religious profession on September 3, 1936 at the Motherhouse in St. Brieuc, France. She was then known as Sr. Rose Madeleine. She received an Associate degree from Annhurst College, Woodstock CT. MICHAUD, MARY "SUSAN", After a valiant fight overcoming leukemia, Susan passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on October 2, 2006. Susan filled her life with love and generously shared herself and her talents in serving others. She loved helping others preserver photos and memories. She served her church in many roles, but especially loved the children. She loved music and travel, camping and adventure. She was a mentor and volunteered many years in local schools. Donald W. Richard, 67, of Manchester died suddenly on October 1, 2005 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.Mr. Richard was born on January 1, 1938 in Manchester the son of the late Louis P. and Evelyn (Bellerose) Richard. He spent his career working as a truck driver, furnace repairman and custodian for the Bedford School System where he spent 10 joyful years. Richard’s hobbies and interests included playing video games, bowling as well as watching the sport on television, and swimming. He and his wife, Jeanne, loved to travel by car and plane. They particularly enjoyed spending time in Virginia and Florida where they frequently visited Disneyworld. In their earlier years, the couple used to square dance and are Charter Members of the Queen City Promenaders. Donald was also a past treasurer of the club. He was a cherished husband and father who adored his grandchildren.Family members include; his wife of 40 years, Jeanne M. (Trottier) Richard; one daughter, Darlene M. Chandonnet of Manchester; one son, Bruce D. Richard of Weare; three grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Richard of Bow and Roland Richard of Alexandria; one sister; Sandy Andreoli of VA; and several nieces and nephews.IN HIS LIFE: Richard had three grandchildren, Brian D. Bilodeau, age 74, died suddenly on Monday, October 3, 2005 at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford.She was born on July 6, 1931 in Milan, NH, the daughter of Linwood and Elsie (Lorry) Robinson. Isabelle was a loving mother and grandmother, who had worked right up to recently when she became ill. A longtime resident of Manchester, she had worked at the Mt. Carmel Nursing Home in Manchester, and at The Inn at Parker Station in Goffstown. She was a member of the DAV Woman's Auxiliary for many years. Her hobbies and interest including crocheting, knitting and especially spending time with her family.Her family members include her son, Steve R. Bilodeau. of MO; three brothers, Ernest Robinson of Greenville, Herman Robinson of Berlin and Merle Robinson of New Ipswich; two sisters, Shirley Leeman of Gorham and Ruth Young of Manchester; two grandchildren, Candice Bilodeau and Shaun Bilodeau, both of Manchester; one grandchild, Taylor Ray Bilodeau of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. TAUNTON -- Jason P. Sorelle, 33, of New Bedford died unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at Morton Hospital. He was the husband of Anne M. (Parau) Sorelle; they were married six years. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Susan (Coutinho) and Paul E. Sorelle of East Freetown. He lived in Freetown until he returned to New Bedford five years ago. He was a communicant of St. John Neumann Church, Freetown. He was a high school graduate and an arborist at Beaver Tree Co. Mr. Sorelle was a free spirit who enjoyed fishing and camping. He will be remembered for his huge heart and dedication to his family. Survivors include his widow; his parents; a son, Korey Sorelle of New Bedford; a daughter, Kyara Sorelle of New Bedford; two brothers, Aaron Sorelle of New Bedford and Nathan Sorelle of Fairhaven; an aunt and an uncle; a nephew; and several cousins. He was the grandson of the late Manuel and Elizabeth (Brewer) Coutinho. His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Neumann Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford. He is survived by his wife, Colette (Lemaire) Lemay of Dunellen, his daughters, Anne Lemay and her husband, Kenneth Erb, of Sewaren, N.J., Patricia Lemay and her husband, Robert Massei, of Ridgefield, Conn., Lisa Lemay and her husband, Niels Nelson, of Clinton, N.J., and Michelle Lemay of Limeport, Pa., his son, Mark Lemay of Flemington, N.J., his brother, Roger Lemay of New Hampshire. Mr. Lemay is also survived by his grandchildren, Jonathon and Benjamin Zipf, and Maggie, Adam and Thomas Nelson. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 8:30 a.m. at The SHEENAN FUNERAL HOME, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John's Church, Dunellen. Visiting will be Friday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
