SPENCER, RALPH RICHARD - The death of Ralph Richard Spencer, husband of the late Helen Louise (Burns) Spencer, occurred on Monday September 26, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1914 in Fredericton he was the son of the late William J. and Beatrice (Atherton) Spencer. Ralph was very involved in all aspects of Stella Maris Church. He is survived by son Ralph William (Bill) Spencer (Carlotta) of Hampton; brother William Hartley Spencer of Moncton; grandchildren Shelly (Spencer) Dauphinee (Jon-David) of Saint John and Cindy (Spencer) Westra (Doug) of Calgary; great grandchildren Emma Dauphinee, Pieter Westra, Cate Dauphinee, Andrew Westra and William Dauphinee; many nieces and nephews. SIMPSON, PEARL IRENE - The death of Pearl Irene Simpson, wife of the late George Malcolm Simpson, of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John a daughter of the late Isaiah Jacob and Ethel Wyonia (Kelly) Holmes, Pearl had been employed with Smith Brokerage Co. as a bookkeeper and for many years with Coca Cola Co. Ltd., she was an avid bowler and was involved with her church for many years being Baptist by faith. Survived by her two sisters, Bernice Long and Audrey (Ronald) Long, both of Saint John; step-son, Glen Simpson and his wife, Dianne and their children and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers: Don, Arthur and Walter and sisters: Annetta, Gertrude and Ethel. TRAMLEY, MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" - The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Sunday, September 25th, 2005 of Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Tramley (nee Ash), of Charlottetown and formerly of Pugwash, N.S. and Saint John, N.B., aged 75 years. Devoted mother of seven children; Mary Tramley-Campbell (Colin), Bob Tramley, Pastor David Tramley (Ruth), Bruce Tramley, Ellen Tramley-Seymour (Larry) and Becky Tramley (Daniel Lee). Betty will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her six grandchildren; Zachariah & Jonah Campbell, Jacob, Luke & Thomas Tramley and Megan Seymour. She was predeceased by her parents; P. Carl & Ruth (Jamieson) Ash, her daughter, Patty and brother, Carl B. Ash. Betty was born in Saint John, New Brunswick and studied Pharmacy at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She raised her seven children in Pugwash, Nova Scotia until settling in P.E.I. in 1970. She was a dedicated professional working as a pharmacist at Lords Pharmacy, City Drug and Shopper's Drug Mart in Charlottetown until her retirement in 1998. Resting at The Cutcliffe Funeral Home, 33 Longworth Avenue, Charlottetown, P.E.I. (902-894-4433) from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. with her son Pastor David Tramley officiating. DOVER — Marie Antoinette Couture, 81, of St. John's Apts., died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at her home after a period of failing health.Born in Dover on Oct. 31, 1923, she was the daughter of Emile and Liza (Nessier) Couture.She was a lifelong resident, having been educated in Dover schools, was a communicant of St. Charles Church and a former employee of the Prosper Shevenell & Son Company. Tonie was a deeply religious, caring and loving person with a warm heart. Known as "Favorite Aunt Tonie" to her many nieces and nephews, she greatly enjoyed the gathering of family and friends during the holidays. She lived a quiet life and loved her country music, beano, card games and playing solitaire. Taking day trips, especially to the White Mountains, was always a favorite pastime.She is survived by a sister, Gertrude E. DuBois of Dover and a brother, Gerard E. Couture and his wife, Louise, of Dover; five nephews, Robert DuBois and his companion, Dixie Solomon, of Rollinsford, John DuBois of Somersworth, Edward DuBois and his wife, Randi, of South Berwick, Paul Couture and his wife of Rochester, and Edward Couture of East Lebanon; five nieces, Janet Chick and her husband, Donald, of Somersworth, Anita Moors of Rollinsford, Therese St. Laurent and her husband, Ronald, of Acton, Annette Kallgren and her husband, David, of Rochester and Anita Wurzburg and her husband, Eric, of Wells; 16 great-nieces and nephews; 11 great-great-nieces and nephews, long time friends, Audrey Howlett, Sharon Rivera, Murray Howlett and many wonderful and loving friends at St. John's Apts. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert J. Couture; a sister, Helen Couture and brother-in-law, John R. WORCESTER— Lucienne M. (Dusseault) Leroux, 90, formerly of Port Charlotte, Fl. and 75 Paine St., Worcester, died Sat., Sept. 24 at the home of her daughter in Cape Coral, Fla. Her husband, Arthur E. Leroux, died in 1975. She leaves three daughters: Suzanne A., wife of Thomas W. Finney of Cape Coral, Fla. with whom she lived, Jacqueline R. Trychon of Worcester and Ft. Myers and Alice M., wife of Harry Mellor of Wells, Maine and Ft. Myers, Fla.; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and several nephews and nieces. Her twin brother, Lucien Dusseault died in 1998, and her sister, Theresa Dusseault died in 2001. Lucienne was born in Canada, daughter of Lucien and Mary Ann (Gagnon) Dusseault. She lived in Worcester more than 50 years before moving to Port Charlotte, Fla. in 1996. She was a stitcher for R.J. Toomey Co. in Worcester for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She was a former member of Saint Bernard’s Parish, Worcester. Irene was born in Colchester on Jan. 4, 1922, the daughter of the late Pierre and Josephine (Lawrence) Gaboriault. She was educated in the Colchester and Winooski school systems. Irene was married in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski on July 17, 1948, to Marcel A. Rousselle who predeceased her on Aug. 4, 2003. She was formerly employed as a nurse's aid and at the American Woolen Mill. Irene was a beautiful seamstress who enjoyed crocheting, quilting and sewing. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Irene is survived by three children, Marlene Baker and her husband, Richard, of Pennsylvania, Michael Rousselle and his wife, Debbie, of Indiana, and Joanne Rousselle of Illinois; five grandchildren, Suzanne Rousselle, Noelle Herrick, Ryan Herrick, David Baker, and William Baker; two sisters, Theresa Kellogg of Winooski, and Jeannette Nattress and her husband, George, of Florida; a sister-in-law, Irene Gaboriault of Winooski; and many nieces and nephews. Monique Jussaume -- July 6, 1941 - September 25, 2005 -- DAYVILLE - Monique Jussaume, 64, of Bear Hill Road died after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her family at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. She was the wife of Ronald Jussaume, who survives her. They were married in Attawaugan on June 24, 1978. Mrs. Jussaume was born on July 6, 1941 in Lachine, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Irene (Mitchell) Prud'homme of St. Lambert, Quebec, Canada and the late Laurier Prud'homme. She located to the Killingly area in 1978. She was the office manager at Boudreau's Welding Co., working with her husband. She retired in 2005. Mrs. Jussaume became a U.S. Citizen in 1986. She enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska and Central America. She enjoyed snowmobiling in Maine and Canada. She enjoyed gardening and jigsaw puzzles. Lemieux and her husband, Rick of Brooklyn, CT; a stepdaughter, Julie Jussaume of E. Killingly, CT; two stepsons, Randall Jussaume of Dayville, CT and Scott Jussaume of Danielson, CT; a brother, Yves Prud'homme of Montreal, Quebec, two sisters, Nicole Masse of Boucherville, Quebec and Francine Giroux of St. Lambert, Quebec; four grandchildren, Danielle and Justin Lemieux and Paige and Cole Jussaume; and two nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Roxanne Duhamel and a stepson Marc Jussaume. Brooks, John (Jack) Frederick (Long time resident of Midhurst and retired from General Electric) After a short but valiant fight with cancer at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, on Tuesday, September 20th, 2005, in his 85th year. Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanor (McLean) Brooks (1994). Predeceased by his dear friend Elizabeth Craig. Jack will be dearly missed by his daughters Beverly Gilliland (California) and Sherry Brooks (Lindsay), and his step-son Gerry McLean. Predeceased by step-sons Gordon and Gaynor McLean. PELHAM, NH - Cecile R. (Baillargeon) Quenneville, 89, died Friday September 23 at Merrimack Valley Hospital. Born in Holyoke, November 16, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph Baillargeon and Anna (Boutin). Cecile lived in the Holyoke area for over 70 years before moving to Pelham NH to be closer to her family. Cecile attended Holyoke schools and was a former parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ulric L. "Tubby" Quenneville in 1989. Cecile will sadly be missed by her son Robert L. Quenneville and his wife Blanche of Pelham NH; her daughter Rena C. Fox and her husband Allen of Pelham NH; her brother Donald Baillargeon of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Cecile was pre-deceased by two brothers, Roland R. and Aime L. Baillargeon; and one sister Anna E. Desilets. CHICOPEE – Wilfreda C. (Bousquet) Perreault, 88, of the Fairview section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Sunday, September 25, 2005. She was born in Holyoke on February 11, 1917, a beloved daughter of the late George N. and Delvina (Parent) Bousquet and moved to Fairview in 1949. She was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Fairview and a member of the Massachusetts Catholic Order of Foresters. Her beloved husband, John A. Perreault was Called Home on November 29, 1987. She leaves her loving daughter, Janet C. Perreault of Fairview, with whom she lived. Her dear son, Norman J. Perreault of Chicopee. Her dear grandchildren, Daniel Perreault and Theresa M. Perreault and her dear nephews, Mark and Jeffrey Boucher. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Lillian I. Boucher. Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning, September 28, 2005 at 8:30 a.m. from the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, 13 Dale Street at the junction of Grattan Street in Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street in Fairview.
