Florence "Lou" Dagg (née Bramwell) April 15, 1910 - September 04, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Mrs. Louise (Bramwell) Dagg, with family at her side, passed away on September 4th, 2005, peacefully at her home of 55 years in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Born in Preston, Lancashire, England, in 1910 Florence Louise came to Canada in 1913 with her parents who settled in St. Vital, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lou’s zest for living an active and gracious life was apparent from her youth, be it swimming across the rivers of Winnipeg, the road trips to Falcon Lake and beyond. Lou drove until 2004 and formerly chose not to renew her licence this past April. She was a member of the Winnipeg Canoe Club, where she met Walter Dagg in 1938. Married in St. Vital, they resided in Vancouver, Montreal, Winnipeg and Holland, Manitoba. Lou was always employed in a customer service capacity from her days at Eaton’s Winnipeg, where she and her future sister-in-law were known as “Loulabelle and Lillabelle”, to her retirement at age 83 years from the Westfort Pharmacy, (formerly the Crooks Pharmacy) of which she was an employee since 1955. She and her husband, Walter, daughter Jo-Anne and son James, moved to Thunder Bay in 1951. Lou was involved in her community and neighbourhood and dear to all who knew her. She continued to stay active past retirement with volunteer positions at the Red Cross Society and St. Paul’s Anglican Church. She was constantly involved in visitation and providing transport for those who needed assistance. Lou’s caring, graceful, generous spirit provided her family and friends, near and far, with support to embrace dreams, achieve goals, fulfill responsibilities and find comfort with their personal strengths. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Kate (Wildman) Bramwell, brother Fred, husband Walter, sister Pamela Denner, and son-in-law Glenn. Surviving are son James (Jilllian) of Carlisle, Ontario, daughter Jo-Anne Jacobson and granddaughter Gayle (Dan) Dawson of Thunder Bay, nephew Mike (Sue) Denner of Missouri, cousins June (and family) Wildman of Winnipeg, Terry (and family) Bramwell of southern Ontario, surviving members the Dagg family throughout Canada and many dear friends. The family wish to thank all who cared for Lou and helped her during the past three months. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Lou will be held on Thursday evening September 8th, from 7 until 8 P.M. in the Jenkens Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Friday September 9th, 2005 at 11 a.m.. Interment will follow at a late date in Brookdale Cemetery, Holland, Manitoba. GAGNE, RONALD J., 50, of East Shore Dr, died Saturday at Kent Hospital. He was the son of the late Leo and Rita (Galligan) Gagne. Ron had worked as a driver for the Arga/Lojex Company, of Bozrah, CT, specializing in oxygen and nitrogen distribution.Previously he had lived in Enfield, NH and had worked for various transportation firms for over 25 years. He was a huge Patriots and Red Sox fan. He is survived by two sisters, Sandra L. Lecuivre and Karen N. Watson, his brothers-in-law Ronald Lecuivre, Barry Watson and two nieces, Tara and Erin Watson. CHICOPEE - Paul Joseph Genest, 61, of Chicopee, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 in Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, and resident of South Hadley and Chicopee for most of his life, he was the son of the late Paul & Margaret (Kenney) Genest. Paul was a retired sales coordinator for the Stevens Roofing Co. of Holyoke. He was a Vietnam Era veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Paul is survived by a son; Paul J. Genest, Jr., and his wife, Michelle of Chicopee; a brother; James Genest and his wife, Judy of Naples, FL; a sister, Anne Manuli of Gibsonville, NC; two grandchildren; Challice and Sydney and several nieces and nephews. FONTAINE, LORRAINE, 60, of Cook Drive in North Scituate passed away Sunday Septemeber 4, 2005 at her residence. She was born in North Attleboro, MA on August 14, 1945 the daughter of the late Edgar J. and Anna (Alix) Fontaine. Ms. Fontaine loved animals, especially horses and spending time with friends at the Cook Drive Residence in North Scituate. Survivors are two sisters, Jeanne Nuttall of North Providence, RI Louise Carbone of Warwick, RI; two brothers, Edgar R. Fontaine of Dighton, MA, Raymond Fontaine of Pawtucket, RI and several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by many friends from Re-Focus Inc. Shirley was born September 23, 1928, in Oconto Falls to the late Earl and Ioline (Flatley) Flowers. She married Richard Boucher on December 29, 1954, in Oconto Falls. Shirley was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Oconto Falls.Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Rick (Kelly) Boucher, Abrams; Jay (Janice) Boucher, Oconto Falls; one son-in-law, Rick Krumrei; six grandchildren; Michael, Dustin, Adam, Mark, Amanda, Tressa; two brothers, Jack (Gail) Flowers, Georgia; Paul (Jean) Flowers, Oconto Falls; many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by one daughters, Renee Boucher-Krumrei, and two aunts, Viroca Saunders and Dot McKeever.The family will recieve relatives and friends at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Oconto Falls, from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005. Bastien, Pierre PIERRE BASTIEN fils de Lucille St-Georges et de feu Rolland Bastien, est décédé paisiblement à la maison, entouré de son épouse Francine; ses enfants: Lise, Yvan et sa bru Nathalie, le 4 septembre 2005, à l'âge de 62 ans. Il était le grand-père adoré de Charles, Éric, Liliane, Valérie et le frère de Lorraine (Antoine Matte), André (Linda), Louise (Durk McIntyre), Michel (Denise), Carole (Léo Fortin) et Henriette. Il fut prédécédé par sa soeur Denise et son frère Gilles. Il laisse également dans le deuil des belles-soeurs, beaux-frères, nièces, neveux et plusieurs amis. BARNSTABLE - Alpha Joseph Dumaine, 92, died Saturday. He was the husband of Hilda M. (Blais) Dumaine. Mr. Dumaine was born in Central Falls, R.I., and educated in Providence, R.I. He owned and operated Dumaine's Oil Service in Pawtucket, R.I., for 15 years, retiring at age 64. He moved to Barnstable in 1998. Besides his wife, survivors include his children, Ernest D. Dumaine of Sagamore Beach, Eileen Benoit of Callahan, Fla., and Ellen Bedard of Barnstable; a brother, Edward Dumaine of Atlanta; a sister, Connie Cardin of North Providence; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at Cheetham Mortuary, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, 750 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Lucille V. Caron, 66, of Manchester died September 4, 2005 at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center after a long battle with cancer. Born in Manchester on October 8, 1938, she was the daughter of Robert and Lillian (Rejimbal) Caron. She attended St. Anthony School and Hesser Business College both in Manchester. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Miss Caron worked as a legal secretary at the law firm of Devine & Millimet in Manchester for 11 years. She was a member of the Notre Dame Associates and was an accomplished organist and pianist. Born June 21, 1942 in Springfield, to the late Luke and Frances (Parisi) Smith, she has been a life long resident of this city. She was presently employed as the surgical booking coordinator for Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of Springfield for 25 years. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Springfield Technical Community College and was a communicant of St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Springfield. Rockie was the wife of the late Ronald E. Trudel who died in 1970; she recently lost her mother Frances Smith who died in April of this year, and a brother, Robert Smith who died in 1986. She leaves her children, sons, Kenneth R. Trudel, and Daniel R. Trudel and wife, Deborah; and a sister, Michelle A. Russell and husband, Michael, all of Springfield. She leaves two sisters, Bernadette Babineau and Patricia Berard and husband, Tom, and a sister-in-law, Dorothy M. Smith, all of Springfield; and her mother-in-law, Ida Trudel of Wilbraham. She was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren, Cameron M. and Corey L. Russell, Raymond R., Stephanie K. and Daniel L. Trudel; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. PLATTSBURGH — Mr. Victor S. "Vic" Corron, 87, of the Spellman Road in Beekmantown, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2005 at Meadowbrook Health Care Facility with his daughters by his side.He was born in Clayburg on March 15, 1918, the son of Charles and Celina (LaFountain) Corron.He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army as a platoon sergeant. He spent four years in the European Theatre 4th Infantry, 22nd Battalion, Company C. He was present at the invasion of Normandy at Utah Beach, the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of Paris. He received the Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts and numerous other commendations.He was a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Thomas F. Duffy Post #1466 in Beekmantown and was a member of the American Legion Post #20.He had been self employed as a farmer and a foreman for Fletcher Murnane Construction Company. He later worked and retired from Beekmantown Central School after 33 years. He enjoyed watching TV, reading, Expos baseball, building, bowling, tinkering, animals, taking care of his home and yard and spending time with his family.Vic was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Celina Corron; a brother, Remie Corron; his sisters, Agnes Myers, Anna Manley, Lela "Lil" Provost and Flora "Cassie" Fountain.He is survived by his wife, Florence (Lucia) Corron of Beekmantown, whom he married June 17, 1947; two daughters, Carletta Corron of Beekmantown, Nancy Corron of Beekmantown; his granddaughter, Wendy Fresn of Albany; a sister, Florence Botten of Plattsburgh and several nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. At Victor’s request, a private funeral service will be held from the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. He was the husband of Mary (DePrete) Pariseault, his wife of 55 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond J. F. Pariseault and Freda (Springer) Pariseault, he lived in Warwick for 55 years, and was a summer resident of Bonnet Shores for 52 years.Mr. Pariseault was the founder and president of Pariseault Builders until his retirement. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the sponsor and an avid fan of the Pariseault Construction Slow Pitch Softball team.Mr. Pariseault was a communicant of St. Timothy Church in Warwick, and St. Veronica Chapel in Narragansett. He was a member of Warwick Council #2295 Knights of Columbis and Hendricken Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, R. His favorite morning spot was Arremony's Bakery.Mr. Morency enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family. Charest, 87, Beech Hill Road, died Sept. 2, 2005, at the Sunbridge Nursing Facility of Exeter after a period of failing health.She was born July 30, 1918, in Goffstown, N.H., daughter of the late Lois Watson.She grew up between Exeter, Newfields and Newmarket, N.H. She resided at the Beech Hill Road residence in Exeter for more than 40 years.After retiring from Kingston-Warren in Newfields after 20 years of employment, she became very active with several organizations as she volunteered her time with Seacoast Hospice. She was a member of the Red Hats in Exeter and a 57-year member of the ladies auxiliary at the Robert Durgin American Legion Post 67 of Newmarket. She was also active with the senior citizens groups of both Newmarket and Exeter and she enjoyed taking trips associated with them.She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Bernier of Newfields, and Janice Eldredge of Exeter; three sons, Robert A. Charest of Lyndeborough, Bruce L. La défunte laisse dans le deuil outre son époux, Jean-Paul Nobert; ses enfants : Hélène (Pierre Massicotte), Pierre, Sylvie (Louis Bélanger), Jean (Claudine Contreras) et Isabelle (Guy Rivard); ses sept petits-enfants qu'elle adorait : Simon et Julie Massicotte, Christine, Hélène et Julien Bélanger, Olivier et Antoine Rivard; ses frères et soeurs : Dominique (feu Simone Lanouette), Jacques (Georgette Leboeuf), Roland (Rolande Germain), Jean-Paul (Thérèse Larose), Madeleine (Lauréat Leduc), Gisèle (Laurent Juneau) et Réjean (Mariette Ouellette); ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs : Charles-Émile Nobert (Feu Reine-Aimée Leduc), Régine Nobert (feu Cilien Trottier), Clément Nobert, Jeannine Nobert (feu Henri Germain), Armande Nobert (Marcel Guilbault) et Rolande Nobert (Benoit Hébert); ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et de nombreux ami(e)s.
