SHARON MARIE LAROCQUE It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Marie Larocque announce her passing after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. at the age of 61. She was born April 18, 1944 in Emo, Ont. to Hazel and Martin Booth, where she also was raised. Sharon was united in marriage to Ovide Larocque on March 13, 1965. They later moved to Ear Falls, Ont., where they resided for five years until moving to Fort Frances, where they raised their three sons. Sharon enjoyed many hours of playing cards and Bingo, or visiting with friends and family, or her three cats Jack, Jill, and Rosie, which she greatly cherished. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Ovide Larocque; mother, Hazel Booth; mother- and father-in-law, Cecile and Antoine Larocque; brother, Robert Booth; sister, Shirley in infancy; and a brother, Jimmy in infancy. Sharon is survived by her three sons, Michael and partner, Tim Magas, of Winnipeg; Man., David and wife, Shawnee, and their son, Gabriel, and Allan and his daughters, Ashley and Torney; numerous sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; her father, Martin Booth of Emo, Ont.; and her brother, Fred Booth (Sylvia) of Atikokan, Ont. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Mr. Jack Cameron officiating. Honourary pallbearers will be those whose “hearts she touched.” Should friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Fort Frances Friends of Animals, Box 545, Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M8 or to the charity of your choice.

HINCKS, Richard Lewis, 1929-2005 Richard (Dick) Lewis Hincks passed away at the Foothills Hospital on July 29, 2005 at the age of 75. Dad will be greatly missed by his daughter, Diana (Jack), his sons Phil, and Ted; and his grandchildren Jennifer (Judson), Adam and Joshua. He will also be remembered by numerous friends and family, including many in-laws, nieces, and nephews residing in Ontario. Richard (Dick) was predeceased by his wife Mary-Lou in 1999, a brother Alan, and his parents Phil and Margaret. Dad will be remembered most for his love of music and reading, his interest in learning, his inventions, and his dedication to his family. He was born in Calgary, attended Western Canada High School and then began a career as a photographer in the RCAF from 1947-1972, during which time he enjoyed a 4-year posting to France with his family. After retiring from the armed forces, he continued with his career until retirement in 1997. At his request, there will be no funeral service. LAMBE, Colleen "Connie" Winona (nee Bickell) On Wednesday, August 10, 2005, surrounded by the love of her family, Colleen (Connie) passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, and will be forever missed by her husband Ron, and their children Sue and Nick Klip; Jeff and Kim Lambe; and Mike and Jenny Lambe. A special grandmother, Connie will be terribly missed and forever remembered by her pride and joy: Jason (Jen), Amanda and Jenny Klip and Joshua and Christopher Lambe. It brings the family great comfort to know Connie has been reunited with her parents Ken and Irene Bickell and her sister Elizabeth Pittman. Truly one of the nicest people you could every hope to meet, Connie will also be missed by her many friends from Milton, Burlington, St. Catharines and Toronto. WARD, Joyce Of Welland, at the N.H.S. - Welland Site, on Wednesday, August 9, 2005 in her 81st year. Beloved mother of Shelley Ward of Los Angeles and Tara Lyons (Don Collier) of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Zachary, Alexander and Kelly. Step-grandmother of Stephanie and Lindsay. Also survived by sisters June Brown (Merle) of Ottawa, and Ferne McLean (Doug) of Lillooet, B.C. Predeceased by husband Allen (1989) and parents, Samuel and Pearl Clarke. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Mrs. Ward later moved to Victoria B.C. where she attended the University of British Columbia. In 1946 she moved to Ottawa and took employment with the Canadian Government. Mrs. Ward was married in 1949 and moved to Montreal where she worked for Bell Canada. In 1966 she moved to Welland and was employed as a supply teacher with the Niagara South Board of Education. Funeral arrangements are private. Interment to take place in Ottawa. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Welland Hospital Foundation - Palliative care would be deeply appreciated by the family with cards available at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland who are in care of the funeral arrangements. COOPER, David Paul - Peacefully and surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 11, 2005, at the age of 57. David Cooper was the beloved husband of Doreen Margaret (nee LeClair). He was the proud and loving father of Benjamin (Chantel) and Sarah (Ryan) all of North Bay. Dearly loved son of Flora Cooper of Dundas and the late Leonard Cooper. David will be sadly missed by his brother Denis (Marion) of Oakville, and sisters Valerie Evans (Jeff) and Lois Parker (Tom) both of Dundas. Self employed as a computer consultant specializing in computer designed drawings. David was a spiritual man who enjoyed canoeing and hiking. HARRISON, George (Hutchie) Douglas Spencer - Age 60, born in Newmarket, Ontario, moved to North Bay in 1959 where he graduated from Algonquin C.S. and then continued his studies at the Agricultural College in Kempville, Ontario. Being multi-talented, George worked at several businesses in North Bay over the course of his lifetime including North Bay Dairy, Bay Flooring, Broadloom by Todd, Northland Glass and Metals. He was also owner/operator of "Lena" for Inner City Truck Lines and was an independent subcontractor. George's passion for cars, car racing and NASCAR throughout his life was shared with his five sons and Brother Tom. George was a former member of the North Bay Lions Club. Surrounded by family and close friends, George passed away at North Bay General Hospital on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. Loving companion and best friend of Lorraine Stewart, cherished father of Rob, Jay and Doug of Calgary, Darren and Joey of Melbourne Beach, Florida. Beloved son of Doug and Ina Harrison, dear brother of Patti Harrison and Janet Harris, North Bay, recently predeceased by Brother Tom. Will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and six grandchildren. George will also be fondly remembered by the Stewart family. WORCESTER— Rita M. (Bonneau) Lessard, 77, of 485 Grove St., died Tuesday, Aug. 9, in Louisville, Kentucky, while visiting family. Her husband of 50 years, Henry W. Lessard Sr., died in 1997. She leaves three sons, Leo J. Lessard of Auburn, Henry W. "Hank" Lessard Jr., and his wife Kathy, of Palermo, ME, and Arthur W. Lessard, and his wife Martha, of Worcester; a daughter, Rosemary B. Ridler, and her husband John, of Worcester; a brother, John Bonneau of Louisville, KY; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She also leaves Susan Lessard of Auburn. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Leon Bonneau, William Bonneau, and Eleanor Powell. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Mary (Miller) Bonneau and lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Lessard was a quality control inspector at Sprague Manufacturing Co. for many years, retiring in 1987. She was a former member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. She was an active member of the Colony Housing Development and enjoyed playing Bingo. LEWISTON - Agnes I. Pelletier, 92, of 263 Webster St., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Ste. Marguerite d'Youville Pavilion, where she lived for the past four years.Born in Van Buren, Jan. 10, 1913, a daughter of Archille and Elenore Rossignol Parent, she was educated in Keegan schools.She moved to Lewiston in 1932.She was a member of Holy Cross Parish and worked at Bates Manufacturing Co., Hill Division, for 23 years, retiring in 1962.In 1962, she married Joseph A. Pelletier; he died Aug. 22, 1972.She enjoyed her home, going for Sunday drives, family cookouts and baking for her relatives. She loved family visits, playing croquet and cards, and crocheting.She will be remembered for her one-of-a-kind sugar cookies, apple roll, coleslaw and her lovely smile, together with her contagious laughter.She is survived by a sister-in-law, Rita Parent; many cousins, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Anne Baker, Elsie Cadrin and Clara Poitras; and two brothers, Albert and Paul Emile Parent.

Leona E. DuBois -- August 15, 1924 -- August 10, 2005 -- DANIELSON -- Leona E. DuBois, formerly of Maple Court died on Wednesday at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, just a few days short of her 81st birthday. She was born in Putnam, CT on August 15, 1924, the daughter of the late Ovila and Eva (Forest) Rondeau. Mrs. DuBois attended school at the St. Mary's Catholic School in Putnam. She married Isidore J. DuBois on February 2, 1946, and then worked for a limited time at the American Optical Corporation in Southbridge, Massachusetts. She also worked as a waitress and at various other occupations throughout her life, retiring in 1989 from the DANCO Corporation of Putnam, where she was employed as a molder operator. Mrs. DuBois enjoyed going to yard sales with her sister. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. She was also a past member of the VFW Woman's Auxiliary. She was a communicant of St. James Church of Danielson. She leaves two sons, Gordon DuBois and his wife, Julie of Danielson, and Donald DuBois and his wife, Nancy of Brooklyn, CT; five grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren, all of whom love their MéMé dearly; two sisters, Lorraine Lapalme of North Grosvenordale and Lucille DesLauriers of Putnam; and one brother, Joseph Rondeau of Putnam. She was predeceased by a brother, Martin. EAGLE LAKE - Rolly "Tony" Saucier, 52, died accidentally Aug. 10, 2005, in Eagle Lake. He was born Sept. 10, 1952, the son of Edmond and Ruth (Palmer) Saucier. Tony was member of the American Legion Post 176 in Eagle Lake. He served in the U.S. Navy for several years. He was employed for 22 years as a stacker for Pinkham Lumber until 1997. Tony was an avid outdoorsman. He will be remembered as being a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends, always smiling and more than willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. To Tony, Denny Pond was a very special place he held in his heart. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Linda (Berube) Saucier; his son, T.J. Saucier; daughter, Tisha Saucier, all of Eagle Lake; his mother Ruth (Palmer) Saucier of Eagle Lake; seven brothers and sisters, Lola Pelletier of Eagle Lake, Terry Dwyer of Nashua, N.H., Sharon Michaud of Eagle Lake, Janie Lausier of San Antonio, Texas, Donna Saucier, Bobby Saucier and Tim Saucier of Eagle Lake.
