LUSIGNAN, JEANETTE, 95, a resident of the Golden Crest Nursing Home in North Providence, died August 1st at her residence. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Mary Anna (Pompa) Giarrusso, she had resided in Providence for most of her life. Mrs. Lusignan had been employed in the jewelry industry for many years.She was the mother of Doris M. Sickles and Vincent Soccio, both of North Providence, Elaine Napolantiano in MA, and the late Nicolas Soccio, sister of Orlando Giarrusso of North Providence, Joseph Giarrusso of Palo Alto, CA, and the late Concetta 'Jackie' Punch. LEWISTON - Gilles J. Perreault, 56, of East Avenue, died Sunday, Aug., 7, after a brief illness, at Central Maine Medical Center.Born in Lewiston, July 20, 1949, the son of Edgar and Lucille (Desjardins) Perreault, he was educated in Lewiston and was a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, Class of 1968.In his early years, he bartended at local restaurants. He then did private professional bartending at catered events. He was currently employed for L.L. Bean in the Portland office.On Nov. 11, 1973, he married the former Suzanne Ouellette, who survives him of Lewiston. He also leaves his mother of Lewiston; one son, Eric M. and his wife, Cheryl, of Deltona, Fla.; one daughter, Melanie L. of Leicester, Mass.; two sisters, Priscille and her husband, Michael Parrott, of Lewiston, and Lisa Grant of Wales; two brothers, Roger and his wife, Belen, and Daniel and his wife, Veronica, all of Lewiston; and two grandchildren Kelsea and Ethan of Deltona, Fla.He was predeceased by his father, Edgar Perreault.

E. Alfred Pinard, age 95, a resident of Bridgeport since the early 1940’s died on Monday morning August 8, 2005, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in 1910 in Leominster, Mass., he was a lifelong tool and die maker retiring from Ohio Rubber in 1979. His expertise as a tool and die maker was called upon during World War II for multiple projects by the U.S. Defense Department. He was a member of St. Andrew Church for more than 40 years where he served as an usher. His first wife the former Alice S. Bills died in 1952. His second wife the former Irene E. Korty died in 1996. He leaves three sons, Robert A. of Southwick, Mass., John A. of Hartwood, Va., and James A. of Duluth, Ga.; a sister, Aline Lodge of Seabring, Fla.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in St. AndrewPs Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Wednesday at 10 a.m. until 12 noon in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. CHICOPEE – Olivine M. (Rougeau) Gagne, 100, of the Chicopee Falls section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Saturday, August 6, 2005. She was born in the Aldenville section of Chicopee on January 22, 1905, a beloved daughter of the late Felix and Eliza (Guerin) Rougeau. She lived in Aldenville for many years before moving to Chicopee Falls in 1986. She was last employed by the former Skinner Silk Mill in Holyoke. She was a communicant of Saint Rose de Lima Church in Aldenville. She was a member of the Aldenville Senior Citizens Club and a 45 year member of the Aldenville Afternoon Bridge Club. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald A. Gagne who was Called Home on July 17, 1984 and her loving daughter, Joan M. Cote who was Called Home on June 7, 1986. She leaves her loving children, Ronald A. Gagne, Jr. and his wife Edna of Chicopee Falls, Connie G. Waldrop of Merritt Island, FL and Pauline G. Sweet of Cocoa, FL. She also leaves her 11 cherished grandchildren, her 12 cherished great grandchildren and her many dear nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her seven dear brothers and sisters, Napoleon, Felix, Leo and William Rougeau and Rosella Desmarais, Lorea Edwards and Rosa Sicard. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning, August 11, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. from the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, 13 Dale Street at the junction of Grattan Street in Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street in Chicopee. Her burial will be private at the convenience of the family. STOCKBRIDGE -- Francis E. St. Peter, 69, of 2 Cherry Bounce Lane died yesterday at home. Born in Pittsfield on April 10, 1936, son of Pearl Goodrich St. Peter and the late Ernest "Pat" St. Peter, he was a 1955 graduate of St. Joseph's High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in education from the former North Adams State College, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, a master's degree from the University of New Hampshire and a doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He was an Army veteran. Mr. St. Peter was first employed by the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind. He then was director of special education for the Greenwich (Conn.) School System for 11 years and director of pupil personnel services for the Berkshire Regional School District for 19 years, retiring in 2000. He was a communicant of St. Charles' Church in Pittsfield and of St. Joseph's Church in Stockbridge. A hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Stockbridge Sportsmen's Club. He was also a member of the Berkshire County Deputy Sheriff's Association and enjoyed history, playing poker and cooking. He and his wife, the former Aniela Marcinczyk, would have celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary Aug. 17. They were married in Holy Family Church. Besides his wife and mother, of Pittsfield, he leaves two sons, Jason St. Peter of Stockbridge and David St. Peter of Pittsfield; a daughter, Stephanie Cathers of Lakewood, Colo.; a brother, Ernest St. Peter of Pittsfield, and a granddaughter. GUERIN-JACKSON, ELEANOR MARY December 7, 1942 - July 24, 2005. Elly was born in Battle Creek, MI to Helen and Vincent Guerin. Her father became a career army officer serving in W.W.II and during her childhood the family was stationed in Germany and in Japan as well as several US bases including Ft. Lewis WA. This early exposure to different locales was perhaps one reason Elly loved to visit new places. An inquisitive and adventuresome spirit, she made several trips to Europe over the years including a solo voyage by plane and train to communist Yugoslavia. After attending Washington State University, Pullman WA and Southern Illinois University, Carbondale IL she began a career in advertising and retailing. Most of her working years were spent in San Francisco. An avid print art collector, she worked for a Bay Area print dealer for several years. Upon moving to Portland, Oregon in 1994 she became a member of the Friends of the Gilkey Center at the Portland Art Museum which supports the acquisition and exhibition of works on paper. Later, she served several terms as president of the FGC. Bereaved relatives include, among others, her husband of 17 years Joe Jackson of Happy Valley, her mother, Helen Goodrich Putnam, stepfather General George Putnam, USA, retired, sister Jean Duffie, and brother Austin Guerin, all of Virginia. Aunt Eleanor Guilbert, uncle Austin Goodrich and cousin Rob Guilbert all reside in the Milwaukee, WI area. Her aunt, Ethyl Ackerson, lives in Grand Rapids, MI. A graveside service will be held on July 30, in Battle Creek, MI. Elly will be buried in the family plot along side her maternal grandparents, Marjorie Austin and Cyrus J Goodrich. A memorial gathering for west coast relatives and friends will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home, 11801 S.E. Mt. Franciszka "Babcia" Bendzlowicz May 16, 1905 - August 03, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Babcia passed away while on a visit to Penticton, B.C. on August 3, 2005 at the age of 100 years. She was the beloved Grandma of Alicia and Sam, and Great Grandma of Melani and Stephan. She loved people, life and travel, touching and inspiring wherever she went with her endearing personality. Andre will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband and father who always put his family first. He was a very caring man and a hard worker.
