Daisy Phinney SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Daisy Belle Phinney, age 95, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 4, 2005. Born in Centrevillage, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Estabrooks) Estabrooks. Daisy was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church, taking part in the Ladies Bible Class, the Women's Missionary Fellowship, the 50 Club and served on the Social Committee. She is survived by four sons, Ivan (Reta) Sackville, Marven (Arlene), Oshawa, Raymond (Helen), Sackville and Keith (Edna) Sackville; one daughter, Joyce (Lloyd) Mitton, Sackville; three half-brothers, Frank Maxwell, Moncton, Ronald (Dodie) Maxwell, Moncton, Irvin (Ruth), Sackville; two half-sisters, Eleanor (Cecil) Estabrooks, Albert County and Ella Doherty, Sackville; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Daisy was predeceased by her husband, Lawson in 1973; and by a half-sister, Dorothy Matheson. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB, (364-1300) with visiting hours on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Emile Joseph Pineau 1932 - 2005 Emile Joseph Pineau, of Moncton, and formerly of Acadieville, NB passed away at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, August 5, 2005 at the age of 73 years. Born in Acadieville, NB, on March 8, 1932, he was the son of the late Firmin and Marie (Rogers) Pineau. He was a member of Notre Dame De La Grace Roman Catholic Church. Emile retired from the Canadian National Railways. He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Arsenault) Pineau; sisters, Ozeli Richard of Rogersville, NB and Rosanne Lozeaut of Montana, USA; also by several nieces and nephews. Kazimiera (Kay) Dutkiewicz 1924 - 2005 The death of Kazimiera (Kay) Dutkiewicz, 81, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Trites Road, Riverview, occurred at her residence on Thursday, August 4, 2005. Born in Stalowa Wola, Poland, on January 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Wtadystow and Antonina Niemiec. Kay immigrated to Canada in 1951. She was a devote Catholic and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Riverview. She also was a member of the CNR War Vets. Kay is survived by her daughters Helena Dutkiewicz of Halifax, NS, Irena LeBlanc of Cheektowaga, NY; one son, Richard Dutkiewicz of Moncton; granddaughters, Ann Hannah (Peter) of Halifax, Kitty Grieve (Darcy) of Cheektowaga, NY, Lorri Dutkiewicz (Chris Meunier) of Moncton; two grandsons, Jonathan Dutkiewicz and Travis Dutkiewicz both of Calgary; great grandchildren, Leeanne Grieve and Matthew Grieve both of Cheektowaga, NY. She is also survived by her ex-husband Jan Dutkiewicz of Moncton; her brother, Stanislaw Niemiec and sister Helena Nowakowska and many nieces and nephews all of Poland. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother Joseph. CAMPBELL, Duncan R.G. Passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 in the Perth Hospital as the result of cancer. Born Montreal, B.A. Econ. U. Toronto, Ph.D. Econ, Cornell, Phi Betta Kappa. Taught Econ. at Cornell and Yale. For many years, Duncan was a senior official of the Government of Canada. He developed Canada's National Training Act, participated in the Canada - U.S. free trade negotiations, and was the senior Assistant Deputy Minister for the Department of Employment and Immigration. He led the team responsible for revising the citizenship labour and immigration programs under the auspices of the Neilson Task Force. He has published brief monographs on the American petroleum industry, pulpwood logging, non-sampling bias in mail surveys, long-range economic forecasting, and the disappearance of anchovies from the Black Sea. In retirement, he and his wife Vera split their time between San Miguel (Mexico) and the backwoods of Ontario, where he worked on demographics of Upper Canada to 1841. He is survived by his beloved wife Vera; sons Robert (Patricia) and Ian (Celina); grandchildren Benjamin, Anna, Liam, Jacob, and Avery; brother Justice Archie (Julie) Campbell, sister Jennifer Bradley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. At his request, a celebration of his life will be held privately for family. CASEY, John Anthony WW II Veteran, D-Day Veteran Formerly of Montreal, passed away peacefully August 3, 2005 at the Perley-Rideau Veterans' Centre at the age of 86. John was a lifetime member of the Montreal Black Watch and a former superintendent of Noranda CCR, Montreal. John was the cherished son of the late John and the late Greta Casey, Montreal, the beloved husband of the late Joan (Hindess), and the loving father of Catherine Merrill (Charles), Uxbridge, U.K. He was predeceased by Gerald - his younger brother, close friend and ally - and his youngest brother, William. John was devoted to, and much loved by his three sisters, Mary Roberts (George) of Montreal, Kathleen Barry (John), of Palm Harbor, Florida, and Bernadette Tourangeau (Ron) of Ottawa. Uncle John was lovingly cherished by his many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased, as well, by his good friend Eileen Smith of Montreal. John was a kind and gracious man who cherished his family, his military comrades and its traditions. He had a loving and grateful heart. John will be truly missed by all of us. OBITUARY WILLIAM (BILL) FOGARTY November 3, 1919 - July 25, 2005 After eighty-five years, Bill decided it was time for a new adventure. He died peacefully at the Beverly Centre, Midnapore, Calgary. He is survived by his wife Betty, children Karen (Wynford) and Trish (David); grandchildren Jean, Curtis, David and Tim, Matthew and Evan. Bill was predeceased by his infant son, Richard Lorne. Bill had many hobbies and dreams, the most important was to become a pilot. Bill joined the airforce in W.W.II and then joined TCA/Air Canada, logging 24,489 hours. In accordance with Bill's wishes, there will be no funeral service (internment at a later date). Final Approach The legacy I gladly leave with you - of the things I've seen and done, for the joys of life so quickly fade - unshared with anyone. All too soon the time is near - just one last turn for home, the compass swings and plays its final part, before my eyes runway lights now beckon me, they lead to earth - a most reluctant heart. For one brief moment time stands still - my thoughts go back through all the years I've flown, to the countless faces by my side - who shared my way of life, that earthbound man has never known. I knew this dream wouldn't last forever - for the years have passed so swiftly by, and now - only memories remain up there, across the endless sky. Douglas's many friends will acknowledge a life full of challenge and adventure spanning almost a century, in which he whole-heartedly participated in ventures ranging from cattle drives in Model Ts to aviation to the electronic age. He died peacefully in his sleep after a period of decline, during which he was lovingly attended by his family. KOTILEHTI, Taimi (Tara) Helena In loving memory of Taimi (Tara) Helena Kotilehti, May 16, 1930 - August 3, 2005. The family announces with sorrow, the death of Tara Kotilehti, a resident of Kagawong, who died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya, on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the age of 75 years. She was born in Finland, daughter of the late Kristian and Pauline Tuomela. Tara came to Canada in 1957, and then met her husband to be Timo, and in 1959 they were married in Sudbury. Tara and Timo had been residents of Manitoulin since 1992. Before coming to the Island, she had been an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Finnish Male Choir as well as an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sudbury Youth Orchestra. She had worked as a dress maker until she retired in 1992. Tara was a very talented lady, who could make many beautiful crafts with her hands. She also enjoyed outdoor activities including sailing and skiing. Tara's greatest joy in life was her family. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them, and many happy memories will be cherished. Dearly loved wife of Timo Kotilehti of Kagawong; loving and loved mother of Tom Kotilehti and his wife Liana and Tim Kotilehti and his wife Suzanna all of London; proud and loving grandmother of Evan and Aidan and Sofi. Dear sister of Anne, Aino, Annikki, Raili, Armas, and Paavo all of Finland. A private family funeral service was conducted at the CULGIN FUNERAL HOME, Gore Bay, with Rev. POLSON - Raphael "Ray" James Bisson, 72, of Polson, passed away at his home on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005.Ray was born to Camille and Mary (Dixon) Bisson on June 29, 1933, in Polson. He grew up at the family home on Minesinger Trail near Polson. He attended the Ursuline schools in St. Ignatius and Polson, and graduated from Polson High School in 1953.Ray joined the U.S. Marine Corps and also served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at several jobs, including positions with Utsond Meats, Dupuis Mill and at the Hungry Horse Dam. He eventually started working for the U.S. Department of Interior's Bureau of Reclamation as a ditch rider for the Flathead Irrigation Project. Ray worked as a ditch rider from 1970 until he retired in 1995.Ray was one of the first to start raising Christmas trees in the Mission Valley. He still had a passion for raising trees. He was also proud of the fact that he built his own home.Ray was member of the American Legion. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren.Ray had numerous friends in the Mission Valley and in Ennis.His parents, two brothers and five sisters preceded Ray in death.He is survived by two daughters, Dixie Davis and her husband Monte of Ennis and Rae Ann Matt of Pablo, and two grandchildren, Monica and Shawn of Ennis.He is also survived by three sisters, Alice Schnover of Pahrump, Nev., Wanita Marquardt of Pablo and Mary Ann Bisson of Grandview, Wash.Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Grogan Funeral Home in Polson.Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Polson with Father Val Zdilla as celebrant. Born in Pascoag, a daughter of the late Louis W. and Loretta (Rivers) Boisvert Sr., she lived in Greenville for 45 years, formerly residing in Burrillville. Ms. Mousseau received her Certificate for Drug Administration from the University of RI College of Pharmacy in 1994, and she enjoyed bowling, knitting, and was an avid Red Sox and Boston Bruins fan. She was the beloved mother of Theodore S. Mousseau of Tampa, FL, Michael J. Mousseau (Smithfield PD) of Greenville, Jean H. Mandigo of Pittsburgh, PA and Mickie Tassoni of Greenville, loving grandmother of Brandon A., Miranda L., Colton M., Carissa E. Mousseau, Kailey M., Emily P. Mandigo, and Brianna J. Tassoni. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louis W.
