John Paul "Bones" Authement, 38, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Thursday, June 23, 2005.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial in the church cemetery.He is survived by his step-father, Lloyd Domangue; four step-brothers, Jermaine Domangue, Nolan Domangue and wife, Angela, Barry Domangue and Casey Domangue; one step-sister, Katie Ann Domangue; two brothers, David Joseph Authement Sr. and wife, Lorraine, and Richard Authement; one godchild, David Authement Jr.; one nephew, Paul Authement; and one niece, Chelsea Boquet.He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ethel Authement.He was Catholic and enjoyed cooking and listening to music.Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

CLARK, Grant Dartnell - Peacefully, with his family by his side at the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, June 25, 2005, in his 87th year. Grant, beloved husband of Jean (Cox) for 53 years. Dear father of Wendy (Robert) of Ajax, and Paul (Darlene) of Peterborough. Loving grandfather of Tim, Katie and Kelsey. Son of the late Dr. David Wesley Clark and Ella Clark-Armstrong. Younger brother of the late Dr. J. Ralph and twin brother of the late Allan. Grant was a graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York and served as a Spitfire pilot in W.W. II. Grant worked as an insurance agent at Darling Insurance for over 30 years, and was a past member of the Peterborough Curling Club for 45 years. The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors who provided humane and compassionate care in the Palliative Care Unit. Mr. Charron owned and operated B&C Sheet Metal and Welding Co. in Fitchburg for several years before moving to Florida.He served in the National Guard. Theresa (La Porte) Patenaude, 92, of Suffield, formerly of Westfield, MA, died peacefully on Sunday (June 26, 2005) at her home. Born on June 22, 1913 in Canada, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dephine (Payant) La Porte. Theresa was a resident of Westfield for over 50 years. She worked as a housekeeper for Westfield Manor, retiring at age 85 after 25 years of service. She was married to Euclid Lemire for 30 years, before his death in 1960, and was married to Hector Patenaude in 1961, before his death in 1962. A wonderful homemaker, Theresa was a deeply religious woman, who loved her Catholic Faith. She had lived in Suffield for the last few years, with her loving granddaughter Laurie Lafreniere and her husband Chris, from whom she received wonderful care. She leaves a son Paul Lemire; three daughters, Pauline Carmel and her husband George and Yvette Carmel and her husband James all of Westfield, MA, and Jeannette Champiney and her husband Harold of East Otis, MA; 15 grandchildren, and 16 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sons, Armand, Leo and Julien Lemire; a brother, Ulemas J. La Porte; and two sisters, Genie Bessette and Nelida Decroteau. Family and friends may gather on Thursday 9:15 a.m. at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St., Suffield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Suffield. Paul Alan Morancy, 54 of 1A Giroux St., Somersworth, NH, died unexpectedly Sunday June 26, 2005 at the Wentworth Douglass Hospital. He was born Jan. 25, 1951 the son of Francis R. Morancy and Pamela Rosamund Burkill, in Boston, Mass. He was employed at Wentworth Douglass Hospital for 23 years. He previously worked at the Dover Children’s Home and the City of Dover School Department. Paul enjoyed gardening, cooking, puzzles and cross-stitching. He lived with his mother until her passing 18 months ago. His biggest passion in life was people. He loved his friends dropping by to see him and if they could not get to him, he would go to them. He, as a worker, was delighted when a nurse or staff member at the hospital personally asked him to bring them an extra towel or blanket. He is survived by his father, Francis (Pete) Morancy of Somersworth, NH, a brother Thom of Celebration, FLA. and a sister, Wendy A. Brown of Dover. Other family members include his Godson, Michael Thomas Morancy, sister-in-law Lynne Ann and brother-in-law, Norman, along with aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. Edith Mildred Horsman Edith Horsman, 78, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, June 25, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born at McQuade, Edith was the daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy (Dean Budd) Fram. Edith is survived by her sons, Harold (Sheila), Allison (Brenda), Wayne (Heather), Lloyd (Patricia) and Douglas (Kathy); 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Ida, Florence, Dorothy (Wilfred); brothers, Ivan (Phyllis), Alvin (Enid); sister-in-law, Audrey; Lloyd Thurrott and family; Gary McConnell and family. Also many friends and relatives. Edith was predeceased by her brother, Horace; and her husband of over 55 years, Alan (2004). At a very young age Edith moved with her parents to her fathers family farm on Trafalgar Road, Dundas, where she grew up. Shortly after marrying Alan they bought a small farm in McQuade where they brought up their family. Edith was a homemaker, gardener, and avid berry picker who was second to very few people in this regard. Edith worked very hard with Alan and her boys on the farm, and could turn her hand to any chores. Edith was still able to cook and preserve, also look after live stock and keep everything in order while Alan was away working. Edith was a devoted mother to her sons and their families, and was also very proud of and devoted to her five daughters-in-law. She raised her five boys with love, compassion and a healthy dose of discipline. Edith and Allan with their lifestyle and devotion to their family set a goal for their family and friends to make this world a better place by being there. Edith and Alan certainly achieved this, we the family are extremely proud to be your siblings. The suffering is over and Edith is gone to be with Alan. Mom, Grammie, Little Grammie, we will miss you but we will find strength from you. Edith's belief, faith and knowing the time had come enabled her to face death unafraid and prepared. Edith lived a devoted life of Christian Faith and integrity, her beliefs were a great comfort to her during her illness. FRASER, FRED The death of Fred Fraser, age 75, of Nashwaak Bridge, husband of Audrey (McAndrew) Fraser, occurred on Saturday, June 25th 2005, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Nashwaak Bridge, NB, he was the son of the late Clair and Irene (Gilmore) Fraser. He retired from the Canadian Armed Forces having served with the Navy. He also worked for many years with the York Regional Library. Fred was a Mason and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 80. He was very involved in his community. Fred enjoyed playing darts, cribbage and sharing good times with friends and family at his camp in Nashwaak Bridge. He is survived by his wife Audrey, to whom he was married for 53 years on Monday, one son, Claude Fraser (Carol), Lakeside, NS; four daughters, Edna Lang (Chris), of Lakeside, NS, Patti Byrne, Roxanne MacFarlane (Calvin), both of Fredericton, and Tracey Fraser, (John Weerstra), of Calgary; nine grandchildren, Dean (Holly), Byron and Ashley Lang, Tracy and Peter Hatter, Alex, Hilary and Andrew Byrne, Mitchell and Julie MacFarlane and Carly Weerstra; one brother, Jack Fraser, of Jacquet River; six sisters, Jean Spilman, Vivian Roussell (Camille), June Douglass (Stuart), all of Nashwaak Bridge, Pearl Armstrong, Gertrude Colpitts, both of Saskatchewan, and Beth Renalds, of New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, Ted and Peter. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr., Fredericton, NB, on Sunday June 26, 2005, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 27, 2005, at 2 pm. with Father Monte Peters officiating. Barbara A. Trudell -- Friends of the family of Barbara A. Margaret Dalphine Beavis (née Pearson) May 15, 1923 - June 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Mrs. Margaret Beavis (nee: Pearson) passed away peacefully with her family and Ven. Andy by her side at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, June 26, 2005. Margaret was born on May 15, 1923 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She moved to Fort William in 1928 where she later met the love of her life, Bill. They were married in 1944. Together they raised four children of their own in Westfort on East Francis Street. She worked for Dr. Hardyman as well as Can Car during WWII. Margaret was a long time member of the Canadian Daughters Branch 34 & the Saphire Rebecca Lodge. She volunteered for 18 years at the McKellar Hospital. Her passions were her family and friends. Margaret's door was always open to everyone! She enjoyed many years at camp Hawkeye Lake and 12 winters in Mesa, Arizona. She had many hobbies including gardening, ceramics, crafts, painting and her numerous pets.
