Aloysia Lanteigne (1923-2004) l'Acadie Nouvelle - 21 septembre 2004 POKESUDIE - À l’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus de Caraquet, le dimanche 19 septembre 2004, à l’âge de 81 ans, est décédée Aloysia Lanteigne (née Le Clair), épouse d’Edouard T. Lanteigne, domiciliée à Pokesudie. Elle était fille de feu Richard Le Clair et de feu Elodie Guignard. Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil quatre filles: Marie-Anne (feu Domitien Lanteigne) et Lina (Stéphane Blanchard), toutes deux de Pokesudie, Onilda (André Croussette) de Pointe-Canot et Angella (Roger Duguay) de Caraquet; deux fils: Joachim de Paquetville et Aldoria (Cécile Jean) de Pokesudie; 15 petits-enfants et dix arrière-petits-enfants; un frère, Lazare (Catherine Jean) de Pokesudie, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Une fille, Lilianne; trois fils: Jacques, Gérald et Théophile; quatre soeurs: Exilia, Françoise, Elizabeth et Lina, ainsi que quatre frères: Adélard, Marcel, Sylvain et Jean-Baptiste, l’ont précédée dans la tombe. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à compter de 14h, le mardi 21 septembre, au salon de l’église de Bas-Caraquet. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Paul de Bas-Caraquet, le mercredi 22 septembre, à 16h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. Heures de visites: le mardi 21 septembre, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mercredi 22 septembre, de 14h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles. À la demande de la famille, un don à l’Association pulmonaire serait apprécié La direction des funérailles a été confiée aux soins professionnels de la Maison funéraire Racicot de Caraquet.

LEDUC, Donald Emile "Pa" Kind Hearted, Storyteller, Tinkerer It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Donald Leduc on September 18, 2004 at Kingston General Hospital. Don is the loving father of Renee (Ottawa), Andree (Mont real), Emilie (Montreal), and Chantale (Sudbury). He is the dear and cherished son of Adele and Adrien Leduc (Timmins). Also left to mourn his sister Sylvia Barrette (Mark) of Timmins and his brother Marcel (Lynne) of North Bay. Don is also survived by his grandmother Adrienne Girouard of Timmins. He will always be missed by his Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Donald was employed as an Nuclear medicine technologist at KGH for 27 years. He was deeply involved in the Kingston community serving as president of the Groupe Scouts Premier Frontenac de Kingston. He was a member of the Optimist Club, and also served on the committee of Saint Jean-Baptiste; he was active in his church, St. Francois d'Assise, and especially enjoyed singin g in the choir. Don loved trying to fix things, listening to the Beatles and working on his cars especially his Cadillac. Those close to him knew him as a loving, caring and devoted father to his daughters. He was a man very generous with his time to his friends and family. His smile and laughter will live forever in our hearts. Rest in peace. GREEN, Leona. Age seventy-eight, of Stratford, Ontario passed away at the Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, September 19, 2004, after a short illness. Beloved sister of Sue Shklov, Leonard Green, Sidney and Shleema Green and Sylvia and Herb Horwich. Loving auntie to Adina, Avi, Janet, Barb, Shane, Arthur, Marty, Mindy, Cathy, Sharon and their spouses and children. Predeceased by her sister Carla and her brother-in-law Rubin. Leona touched the lives of many students in over twenty years as a high school teacher in Montreal, many of them at Outremont High School. After retiring she moved to Stratford, Ontario where she was a longtime member of the Horticultural and Historical Societies and the Scrabble Club. She attended the Stratford Festival since its early years and was a regular participant in the McMaster Stratford seminars. Leona was a strong and loving presence in the lives of her family. Her intelligence, boundless generosity and indomitable spirit were an enduring inspiration to her family and many friends. BISHOP, Marjorie Lyon. Well known Ottawa Dance Teacher BISHOP SCHOOL OF DANCE 1920-2004 Marjorie took her dancing feet back home on September 20, 2004. She was the beloved wife of Edward (Ted) McDonald Bishop (predeceased 1970). Cherished mother of Jane Young (David), Susan Burch (Duncan), Bill (Debbie) and Peter. She is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer Ross (Darryl), Ted Young (Sindy) and Neil Young, Kyle Burch, Christopher Courtice and Joshua Bishop (Cheri), great-grandchildren David, Deven and Ember Young, and sisters-in-law Phyllis Lyon, Marjorie Fortier, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Jack (1917), George and Gordon (wife Marguerite) and brother-in-law Frederick Fortier. Marjorie was the beloved daughter of George McKnight Lyon and Margaret Parker McLaughlin. From 1937 to 1984 Marjorie was the proud owner of the Bishop School of Dance and was a well respected business person in the Ottawa entertainment community. Marjorie will be remembered for her stage presence, impromptu performances and annual recitals which provided a venue for her many students to showcase their talents. She was Director of the Ottawa Revlon Riderettes (Ottawa Football Club), along with Annabelle Casagrande and, as well, was the dance choreographer of several Orpheus productions including Mame, Annie Get Your Gun and Glengarry Days. She will be missed and remembered by many. STUART, Ronald. Born March 26, 1919, died peacefully on September 18, 2004 inSt-Lambert, Quebec. He was the son of Frederick Alvah Stuart and Flora Margaret Stuart (nee Tingley) of Tingley, New Brunswick. He was an inspiration to his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his four sons, Brian (Lorna), David (Lorraine), Robert and Craig (Patricia) and his seven grandchildren Jana, Andrea, Peter, Jacob, Heather, Colin and Justin. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Vanstone). After earning a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Toronto, he had a long and distinguished career in research at Merck Frosst. After retirement he continued working at University of New Brunswick for many more years. YEMEN, John Guthrie (Jack) Peacefully in hospital Shawville, Quebec on Sunday September 19, 2004 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Anderson. Dear father of Janice Darlington, Bruce (Judith), Douglas (Sue Hodgins), Robert, and Phyllis Wilson (Gary). Frank Joseph St. Germain November 27, 1939 - September 16, 2004 Frank passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre after a lengthy illness with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother Josie Chant, sisters Kathy and Carol and companion Janet (Billie) Delaronde. He leaves to mourn his sons Todd (Ruby), Curtis (Tracy) and Logan; daughter Michele (Lloyd); special friend Darlene; sisters Sandra and Ida; grandchildren, Jesse, Dustin, Melissa, Christine, Josh, Elijah and Jared. Frank worked at Metal Pac for 42 years. He enjoyed many hobbies such as curling, playing shuffleboard and crib and he loved to camp. He will be sadly missed by relatives and friends. We would like to thank Dr. Johnston and nurses on the 3rd floor of the Cancer Care Centre. Donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 23, at 1 :00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. PETERS, Stephen James Suddenly at home on September 16th, 2004. Stephen was born in Kingston, Ontario on September 15th, 1954, and has lived in Revelstoke, B.C. for 30 years. Devastated by the loss are his beloved wife Tina, son Jeremy, daughter Sama ntha and her husband, Jason Mathie. Stephen is survived by his parents Ken and Ruth Peters of Kingston, Ontario. He will be sadly missed by his three sisters and their families, Tina's brother, his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Following the footst eps of his father, uncles and grandfather, Stephen worked for CP Rail for 31 years. Many will remember him as an active volunteer in the Revelstoke Minor Hockey Association. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, September 21st at Brandon Bowers Fu neral Home. Service will be held at the Revelstoke Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.
