Apres 55 ans de mariage, il laisse dans le deuil, son epouse bien-aimee, Yvette (nee Bonin); ses deux enfants, Claude (Crystal) et Nicole (Victor Funk); ses 6 petits-enfants, Angele (Philippe Jolicoeur), Rene, Karine, Alixe, Caleb et Christopher; un arriere petits-fils, Keanen; ses deux soeurs, Hermine (Antonio Vielfaure) et Diane (Maurice Therrien) ainsi que de nombreux beaux-freres et belles-soeurs, neveux, nieces, cousins, cousines et amis. Il fut precede dans la mort par ses parents, Arthur et Julia (nee Laurencelle); ses deux freres, Gerard (Dora Blanchette) et Roland (Yvonne Maurice); sa soeur, Solange (Alix Simard). Leo est ne le 24 mai 1926. Il avait une grand foi et un grand amour pour sa famille, la musique et le chant (quelle voix!), la nature, surtout son Sandilands et sa terre a Sainte-Anne, les langues, en particulier la langue et la culture francaise. Il aimait la simplicite de la vie de tous les jours, aisi que l'aventure petite et grande. Il a su garder son sens d'humour et sa joie de vivre jusqu'en dernier. Rousselle, Albert Joseph March 08, 2004 Dec. 16, 1923-Mar. 5, 2004 Albert Rousselle passed away in the early morning hours on March 5th after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 80. Albert was born on Dec. 16th, 1923 in Pont Landry N.B. He moved to Heron Bay North in 1955 to work with The Ontario Paper Co. until retiring in 1989. He then moved to Manitouwadge in 1971 then to Marathon in 1982 until his passing. Albert was predeceased by his mother Sarah (nee Lanteigne) in 1994 at the age of 98 and his father Gilbert in 1952. He is also predeceased by his sister Marie Anne Elizabeth at age 16, baby brother Arthur, Lange, Leo ,Pierre (Clara) Gilbert all of Pont Landry N.B., and brother-in-law Emile Legere. He is survived by his loving wife Marie Clara (nee Savoie), his sisters Clara Legere of Notre Dames des Arables, N.B. and Albina of Pont Landry, N.B.. brothers Lionel (Jean) of Sudbury, On., Yvon (Diane) of Niagara Falls, On., Edmond (Raymonde) of Pont Landry, sister-in-law Rina (Gilbert) and Mona (Leo). SCOTT, CECIL J. W. - The death of Cecil J. W. Scott, husband of the late Lois Georgena (Deakin) Scott, occurred on Sunday, February 29, 2004, at Ridgewood Veterans Wing. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Cecil A. and Frances (Sweeney) Scott. He was a graduate of Saint John High School and Saint John Vocational School. He was employed as an officer of the Saint John Police Force taking a leave of absence to serve in the army overseas with the Provost Corps. Upon returning, he enlisted with the Police Department and was Detective Sergeant leaving the Force in 1954. He joined the Police Force as a civilian two years later and was the Traffic Clerk until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Saint John Retiree's Association, was past-president of Maritime Provost, and was a member of Federal Provost. He was a member of St. Pius X Parish and was interested in youth groups and was a member of St. Pius Scout Group and the city scouting movement. He is survived by his sons Oscar Brian (Arlene) Scott of Abbotsford, BC, Stephen James (Linda) Scott of Halifax, his daughter Susan Frances (Gary) Jones of Quispamsis, his seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and sisters-in-law Alma Scott of Saint John, Betty Deakin of Grand Bay-Westfield and Dorothy Deakin of Fredericton. His sons James Michael and Peter Gerald Scott, his sister Doris W. Garnett and his brother Walter Scott predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
