Thibeault, Daniel The family announces with sorrow his unexpected death on Friday February 20th, 2004 at the age of 41 years. Beloved father of Daniel Thibeault Jr. of Timmins and step-father of Tammy Garlock-Joanisse (Ken) of Timmins and Susan Garlock (Kirk) of Timmins. Loving son of Wilfrid and Claire Thibeault and brother of Carole Malette (Paul) of Timmins, Louise Thibeault (Ray) of Casselman and Nicole Thibeault of Toronto. He is survived by his nieces Marie-France and Renée, his nephew Philippe and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 24th, 2004 at 10 am in the Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Léo Rancourt officiating. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Hospital for Sick Children will be greatly appreciated.

Frère Normand Voisine, capucin 1928- 2003 Le frère Normand Voisine est né à Saint-Pascal de Kamouraska le 5 novembre 1928. Des six enfants de la famille, quatre sont encore vivants: Simone (religieuse), Jean-Paul, Gaston et Lucie. Il fit le cours classique au collège séraphique d’Ottawa et au collège Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière. Entré au noviciat des capucins le 14 août 1949, il prononça les voeux solennels le 4 octobre 1957. Il fut ordonné prêtre le 1er février 1958. Ses principales obédiences ont été celles de vicaire paroissial et d’aumônier de prison. Il avait une approche pastorale toute simple et en étroite communion avec les personnes. Il a beaucoup travaillé parmi les petites gens de Saint-Vincent-de-Paul à Montréal et puis dans les milieux carcéraux. Il portait aussi une grande attention aux vieillards dans le besoin. Il est décédé le 21 février 2004 vers 13h45. La dépouille sera exposée le 24 février à la Chapelle de La Réparation 3650, de la Rousselière, Montréal Les funérailles auront lieu le 25 février à 11h, au même endroit. Irene is survived by a daughter, Virginia Davidson (Arnold) of Currieburg; three grandchildren, Ross Davidson (Shelley) of Pepper Creek, Lyle Davidson (Gulhanim) of Toronto, and Ian Davidson (Wendy) of Woodlands; three great grandsons, Brody, Colby and Tristan; three sisters, Anna Spencer of Fredericton, Lottie O'Donnell of Hayesville, and Lucy Hinchey of New Bandon; sisters-in-law Celia Barclay of Fredericton, Velma Clowater of Boiestown, and Marie Clowater of Virginia, USA and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Irene was predeceased by a son, Harold Clowater; brothers Earl Lovelace, Nelson Lovelace, Peter Lovelace, Charles Lovelace and Arthur Lovelace; and two sisters Nancy Munn and Christy Munn. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, New Brunswick on Monday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, at 2 PM at the Boiestown United Church with Rev. Beverly Daley officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Ross Davidson, Ian Davidson, Harry Pond, Ernest Scott, Orville Scott and Allen Munn. Interment will take place at the Boiestown United Church Cemetery at a later date. Sharon L. Kay 1952 - 2004 COLPITTS SETTLEMENT, NB - The death of Sharon Lee Kay, wife of Kingsley, of Colpitts Settlement, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, February 22, 2004. Born May 4, 1952 in Amherst she was the daughter of Irwin Smith and the late Phyllis Smith. Sharon and her husband were owner/operators of Central Machining in Salisbury. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. Married in October 1974, she is survived by her husband, Kingsley and by her sons, Tony (Jennifer) Kay, grandson, Nathan all of Colpitts Settlement, Dwayne (Pamela) Haight and grandchildren, Kayla, Kyla and Shelby all of Digby NS. DOUGLASS, FLORA AGNES (ANDERSON) The death of Flora Agnes (Anderson) Douglass of Stanley, wife of Guy Douglass, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, with her family by her side, on February 22, 2004. Born in Lynnfield, she was the daughter of the late Burns and Tille (Regan) Anderson. Flora was a member of the St. Peter's Presbyterian Ladies Aid and W.M.S. She worked as a telephone operator in Stanley, enjoyed quilting, camping, gardening, music and feeding the birds outside her kitchen window. She was a loving wife, mother, mother in- law, grandmother and friend that will be remembered for the way she touched the hearts of those in her life. Flora is survived by six daughters, Gail Marie MacFarlane (Derek), Linda Joy Austin (Paul), Cynthia June Dorcas (Andy), Jocelyn Faith Weston, Carla Dawn Flynn (Gary), and Shelley Denise Douglass-Bartlett (Darren); 12 grandchildren, Andrew, Shawna and Jamie Dorcas, Glenn, Hilary, and Gregory Austin, Daniel, Nathan, and Shannon MacFarlane, Jennifer and Marty Weston, Clayton Flynn; seven sisters, Audrey (Floyd) O'Hara, Mary (late Roy) O'Hara, Winnifred (Charles) Duguay, Lillian Wall, Darlene Goodine, Juanita (Linden) Green and Charlotte (Ronnie) Hay; six brothers, George (Joyce), Thurman (Carol), Melvin (Anne), Millen (Joan), Ardie (Elizabeth), and Kenneth (Denise)Anderson; maternal uncle Bob (Neat) Regan and many nieces and nephews. VILLENEUVE, Jean-Marie Peacefully in his home at Barrhaven Manor on Saturday, February 21st, 2004 with his family all around him, Jean-Marie Villeneuve passed quietly away to his Eternal Home. He served in the R.C.N.V.R. during World War II. He worked in the Post Office Department for over 35 years and retired at an early age. He is survived by one brother, Henri, his wife Marcella (nee Wingert) and eight children. The ninth, his son Maurice, predeceased him in 1967 as the result of a car accident at Expo. The surviving eight children are Lorraine (Champagne), Raymond (Kelly), Theresa (Mitchell), Gerald (Cheryl), John (Carole), Marianne (Doug), Elaine (Darrel) and Marcelle (Dave) together with 13 loving grandchildren.
