Elle était l’ex-épouse de Robert Turgeon de Longueuil. Elle était fille de feu William McDonald et de feu Helen Doiron. Outre son ex-époux, elle laisse dans le deuil quatre filles: Marie-Sylvie, Nicole, Nathalie (Jean-François Thiviège) et Chantal, toutes de Longueuil; six petits-enfants: Sébastien, Vanessa, Marie-Ève, Claudia, Yannick et Samuel; deux frères: Dave (Marie) de Toronto et John de Tabusintac; sa soeur jumelle, Patricia Anne (feu Wilson Murphy) de Toronto, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. He will be sadly missed by daughter Janine and son-in-law Stuart Fraser and family, sons Justin and Christian, daughter Merete and son-in-law Guy Collins and family, niece Sherrill and her husband Jean Gregoire and family, and all of his friends. Peter had served overseas with the 17th Duke of York's Royal Canadian Hussars and was looking forward to participating in many more of the regimental functions and re-uniting with his army colleagues. He was happy to be great-grandfather to seven children. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 14 at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire, QC, Exit 49, Cartier. Burial services will be held the following week at St. Edward's Church, Sutton Green, Surrey, England. Peter has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent, c/o the funeral home, to the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of his beloved departed wife Faith. Mon fils Patrick (Renée Lapierre) et mon petit-fils James Laflamme se joignent à moi pour vous inviter à venir célébrer ses funérailles samedi prochain, le 15 novembre, à 11h, à l’église Saint-Jean-Chrysostôme, 1012 rue de l’Église. Outre son conjoint Jacques, Lily laisse dans le deuil son fils Patrick; son petit-fils James; sa soeur Rita Bannon (Henri Goudreault), ainsi que ses nièces, neveux et belles-soeurs de la famille Bannon. Du côté de la famille Laflamme, elle laisse dans le deuil ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs, André (Suzanne), Michel (Mariette), Denis (Francine), Jean-Guy (Monique), Daniel (Céline), Paul et Pauline, ainsi que ses nièces, Nancy, Stéphanie et ses neveux, Luc, Martin (son filleul), Pascal et Sébastien. Dans sa carrière d’enseignante, qui l’a menée en Abitibi, à Lévis et dans la Beauce, où elle a pris sa retraite, elle a laissé le souvenir d’une bonne pédagogue, toujours joviale et soucieuse de la bonne éducation de ses élèves, parmi ses collègues et amis.
