Né le 17 novembre 1913, il était fils de feu Joseph V. Duguay et de feu Angèle Landry. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil six filles: Clauda Alig et Gisèle de Repentigny, QC, Dérilda (Edgar Benoît) de Saint-Simon, Bella (John Feringa) de Stony Plain, Alb., Claudia (Rodolphe Lanteigne) de Dundee, QC et Linda (Bernard Godin) de Moncton; trois fils: Gérald (Elsie Drisdelle) de Saint-Jean, Yvon (Joanne Lanteigne) de Bas-Caraquet et Marcel de Saint-Simon, ainsi que 27 petits-enfants, 41 arrière-petits-enfants et deux arrière-arrière-petits-enfants; un beau-frère, Daniel Albert de Saint-Simon; une belle-soeur, Louisa Albert de Saint-Jean; deux filleules: Thérese Duguay de Notre-Dame-des-Érables et Odette Paulin de Montréal, QC; un filleul, Alyre Savoie de Chateauguay, QC, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins et cousines. Un fils, Elide, ainsi que deux frères: Omer et Marcel, l’ont précédé dans la tombe. M. Duguay était la dernière personne vivante de sa famille immédiate. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à compter de 14h, le mardi 6 mai, à la Maison funéraire Racicot de Caraquet. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Simon de Saint-Simon, le mercredi 7 mai, à 16h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial, plus tard ce printemps. Heures de visites: le mardi 6 mai, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mercredi 7 mai, de 14h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles. PAQUIN Mary Rose 1927-2003 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Rose Paquin at the Agape Hospice on Saturday, May 3, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 75 years. Mary was born and raised in The Pas, MB where she spent most of her life until moving to Calgary in 1996. Mary lived on a farm for much of her life. She had a great love of animals, especially horses, rabbits and birds. Many of her family and friends will remember her noisy macaw and parrot. Mary also had a love for gardening and the outdoors. She would never turn down an opportunity to pick a pail or two of berries or apricots and peaches on her trips to the Okanagan. She was a kind and gentle lady who will be dearly missed. Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Allan and Denise Paquin, grandson Justin Paquin; her daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Andrew Grimsen, grandchildren, Danielle Grimsen, Crystal Grimsen, and Drew Grimsen. Mary's life was also touched by the children of her former husband, Shirley and Jean Charbonneau and their son Jonathon; Joe and Linda Skomorowski, their children, Trent and Shandis; Merv and Linda Skomorowski, their sons, Christopher and Jason; Adeline and Jim Harrison, their sons, Ryan and Dustin; Sylvia and Ferron Rice, their children, Melissa and Matthew; Linda and Andy Horvath; Chris and Danielle Skomorowski, their son Christian; Brenda Keenan, and her daughter Mariska. Mary is also survived by her two sisters, Theresa Commodore and Agnes Uffelman; one brother Edward Buchberger; and numerous nieces and nephews. WINCHESTER, Edward (Eddie) Allan In loving memory of Edward Allan Winchester, early Saturday morning, May 3rd, 2003, at his residence in Killarney. He is survived by Amy, Alan and Nancy all currently residing in Australia, Louise of Kingston, companion Anna Ouellette, his sisters Helena Crossman, Ida Rice of the East Coast, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Edward (Eddie) was born in Belmont, Prince Edward Island, July 30, 1921. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II running convoys in the North Atlantic. After his discharge in 1945 he started a Painting/Decorating business in Sudbury. He was past president of the Painters Association and the Sudbury Construction Association. He loved boats and boating on the Georgian Bay. His last years were spent in Killarney where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and beautifully refurbishing many old wooden boats, houses and antiques. He brought pleasure to all, as he recounted many stories of his life time. He will be sadly missed by all. Funeral arrangements are not yet completed, pending arrival of family from Australia. Son premier époux, Raymond Leger; son deuxième époux, Henri A. Boudreau; une soeur, Evangeline Cormier, ainsi qu’un frère, Ephrème, l’ont précédée dans la tombe. 1929-2003 James (Jim) Patrick Dwyer, of Burlington, ON passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter in Calgary after a five month struggle with cancer on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at the age of 74 years. Jim followed his father into a career in transportation, the first eighteen years with the Canadian Pacific Railway, and then almost twenty years with John Deere Limited. After retiring from John Deere he spent fifteen happy years with Laidlaw. This work enabled Jim and Sheela to spend their sumêmers at their cottage "Highbanks" on the Otonabee River near Peterborough. Their children and grandchildren have many great memories of happy times on the river. Besides his loving wife of forty-six years Sheela, Jim is also survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathleen and Vim and Betty and Phil; a son and daughter-in-law Jim and Michelle. Jim was also the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren, Tommy, Eric, Stuart and Mercedes deHaas, Patrick, Ian, Kevin and Bennett Mitchell, all of Calgary, and Emma and Aidan Dwyer of Burlington, ON. Jim was predeceased by his sister Virginia of Burlington and his brother Tim of Seattle, WA. He was a truck driver for various companies for many years retiring from Alexander Industries in 1987. He enjoyed the outdoors and he was an avid camper, fisherman and hunter. She was also a graduate jeweller and assisted in the operation of W. B. Evans Jewellers with her husband, Bordie. She founded the Ridgeway Girl Guides and was a member of the Catholic Womens League.
